Reyna sighed, rubbing her eyes. "His affair," she repeated for what felt like the thousandth time.
"With…Zelena…?" Emma asked yet again. Reyna threw her arms in the air.
"No! With me!" she snapped sarcastically. Peter chuckled under his breath. Reyna shivered at the vibrations of it against her neck. "Yes. With Zelena! How many more times do I have to go over it?" Reyna snarled.
"This is just like her," Regina muttered under her breath.
"Yes, because you know your sister so well in the year that you've known her, most of which she was locked in a cell and mistreated," Reyna said with a raised eyebrow.
Regina's eyes narrowed. "There is no need to be rude," she snapped. "We all are risking our lives to save yours."
"Which I never asked you to do," Reyna replied in a clipped tone. "Try as you might to blame me, you brought this on yourself."
Regina didn't reply right away. "So he is hiding his affair with Zelena because she is his weakness," Regina stated, wanting to reaffirm what little they knew after the Savior's somewhat embarrassing moronic behavior.
"Wrong," Reyna said, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Why go through so much trouble? Anyways, it is pretty obvious that your True Love would be your weakness," Reyna said offhandedly. "He removed the pages because they uncovered his whole plan."
"You make it sound like you know what it is."
"Well that couldn't possibly be on purpose," Reyna said, sarcasm dripping from her words. "As it is, I know exactly was Hades is up to. It is only a matter of getting the necessary supplies to destroy him."
"Which are?" Killian asked, quickly becoming annoyed with her half answers.
Reyna looked at him apologetically. "The less people that know, the better. Besides, some of our present company is known to have a big mouth," she said, sending a side glance at Mary-Margaret.
"Hey!" she said, but even David shot her a look. She sighed. "It may be true, but you don't have to say it," she mumbled. Emma, Hook, Regina, Robin, and David all laughed, while Peter, Reyna, Henry, and Felix watched blankly.
"You really think you have something that can defeat Hades?" Henry asked curiously. He was beyond frustrated that he couldn't get the quill to write Hades story as he had planned.
Reyna looked at him and nodded. "I'm sure on how to defeat him, Henry. Are you going to doubt me?"
Henry sighed and shook his head. "I guess this is another battle I'm going to have to sit out," he muttered, turning and storming up the stairs, clenching the quill and his newest story in his hands.
"Wow, I thought having one Felix was too good to be true!" Reyna jested sarcastically, driving her elbow into Felix's side when he glared at her.
"But now we have two," Peter chuckled half-heartedly.
Belle walked into the nursery of the fairies' hollow. Three cribs were laid out, each on with a crested name plate curtsey of Gepeto. Belle carefully juggled three bottles in her hands, cooing down at the three babies. She looked up when heels clicked behind her.
Blue walked in, an odd smile on her face. "What are you doing here, Belle?"
Belle's eyebrows knitted together confusedly. She waved the bottle in one hand. "Giving the babies their formula."
Blue nodded. "Oh, yes, of course. Here, I'll get this one," she said, walking forward to the crib that was etched with arrows, grasping the green bottle that Belle had waved.
Belle felt even more confused. "Blue. You know that she gets the red one?" Belle held out a second bottle, hesitantly offering it to the odd-acting fairy.
"Oh, right. I just don't know where my heads at today," Blue chuckled nervously. Belle just nodded slowly, carefully picking up the baby boy from the middle crib to offer the green bottle.
"Well, I do," a voice said from the door way. Belle looked up in surprise to see a second Blue entering, brandishing a wand at the other. "I don't know who you are, but I will remove you from these premises.
The second Blue smiled in a way that could only be described as wicked. Belle gasped, "Zelena?"
"Well, I suppose you do have some brains in there," Blue said sarcastically as her body melted away into that of Zelena.
"But…But Regina sent you back to Oz! How did you get back?"
Zelena's lip curled at the mention of her sister. "All you need to know is that my sister can't keep me down."
Belle shifted her grip on Baby Jones. "Zelena. Please. Put the baby down."
Zelena glared, gently rocking the baby against her chest. "Or what? You'll smite me with the bottle in your hand?" She laughed at the mere thought.
Blue stepped forwards, pointing her wand at Zelena. "Oh, I've got something a little stronger than that."
Zelena clutched the baby just a bit tighter. "But neither of you would risk hurting my child," Zelena hissed.
Belle held up her free hand, "Zelena. You don't want to hurt her either. Please."
"No, but I don't mind hurting the two of you!"
The floor gave a great lurch, sending all three women stumbling. Belle stumbled forward into Zelena, scooping Baby Hood into her free arm, hooking an elbow over one of the cribs. Blue stumbled towards the third crib, where Neal was wailing at the chaos, carefully picking him up and moving him out of harm's way, towards the edge of the room.
"Stop it!" Belle shouted. "Stop it! You're endangering everyone."
Zelena shook violently, clutching the crib to avoid falling. "It's not me! I'm not doing this."
A large, swirling red portal opened in the middle of the floor. Belle's foot hit the edge, and not having a good grasp on anything, slipped into it, holding the two children to her chest and maneuvering to where her back would hopefully make contact first. Zelena swore loudly, before jumping in as well.
A knock sounded at the door, drawing the attention away from the staircase that Henry had just stormed off. "A visitor?" Regina questioned.
Emma cautiously approached the door, looking worriedly over her shoulder. She opened it, her eyes wide as she came face to face with Zelena. "What are you doing here?"
Regina sneered from where she stood next to Robin by the island. "So, someone finally did you in?"
"She's not dead," Pan said, glaring at the woman.
Zelena held her head high and nodded. "And I didn't come alone." Her eyes flickered guiltily from Robin to Reyna. Reyna tensed, and Pan put a hand on her arm in comfort.
"Who else did you bring?" Robin asked hesitantly, not sure he wanted the answer.
"Our baby," she said, looking like she could cry. She then glanced at the only dead person in the apartment, "and yours."
Reyna's breath caught, and she looked towards Peter, who frowned, but his shoulders were tense.
Robin jumped into action first, slinging his bow and arrow over his shoulder. "Where are you going?" Zelena asked.
"I'm going to find our daughter," Robin said with a glare. Regina sighed.
"How about a locator spell?" Zelena asked.
"We don't have anything of the baby's to track."
Robin cut Regina's explanation short, "I lived in the forest for years, I can track anything. I don't need magic to find her."
"I'm coming with you," Reyna said, stepping forward. Robin stopped and nodded, looking serious. She smiled hesitantly, taking another step before she felt the resistance in her arm. She glanced behind her at Peter, whose jaw was clenched as he stared at her. "Peter, please," she whispered, pleading with him.
In that moment, he knew that she would stay if he asked. Whether it was because he was her first priority, or because she trusted Robin Hood and Regina to save her son, he wasn't sure. However, her selflessness instantly made him wish that he were a better man. He knew he owed it to her, after all he had caused, to help her find her child. He nodded, stepping forward.
"Well?" he said, sounding annoyed. "Are we going or not?" This seemed to snap everyone out of it, before Robin, Regina, and Zelena all filed out the door to find the children. Peter pulled Reyna behind him. Reyna smiled at him, quickly pressing a kiss to his cheek. "I love you," she hurried to say. He nodded back, still looking straight ahead, "I love you, too, love."
The group of five walked through the forest. Robin lead the way, Regina and Zelena arguing behind him, and Peter and Reyna bringing up the rear, ignoring the family squabbles ahead.
"Peter…" Reyna started, looking unsure at his profile. He cocked a single eyebrow, but otherwise remained silent. "I… I know you're mad. I know what I did was wrong. But please-"
Peter stopped her then, looking down at her sharply, his mouth pulled into a frown. "I can't be a father, Reyna. I don't know how to. This babe, it… I'll lose you because-"
Reyna stepped in front of him, stopping both his words and his walking. "You won't ever lose me, Peter. I love you, you're my True Love. I never planned on having kids, you know that. I don't know how to be a mother myself, but I know that now that I am one, I'd surely like to find out how to be one. But, I want you to be there, to stand beside me through all the hardships and the milestones. Please, don't make me choose," she said, unsuccessfully trying to stop her tears from falling. "I can't choose, because I know I'll choose you and I'll hate myself for abandoning him."
Peter pressed a hand to her cheek, making her look up at him. "I'll try. I won't make you any promises, but I will try to do whatever it takes to make you happy, love. No matter what."
She smiled through her tears, pulling him down towards her. Peter searched her face, still nervous about kissing her after all he'd done and all she had been through. Just as her eyes had fluttered shut, there was shouting ahead of them.
"Belle!" Robin shouted, seeing the woman, arms full, wondering towards them. Reyna gasped, a huge smile breaking out on her face. She pulled Peter forwards, running to take her baby from Belle. She didn't see the soft smile that appeared on Peter's face.
Reyna pulled her son close to her chest, smiling down at the sleeping child, cooing slightly.
Belle looked between them all nervously, looking at Zelena in shock. "What are you doing here?"
Zelena rolled her eyes. "I'm helping them."
Belle looked at the others incredulously. "She stole your baby, she's the reason your children are down here."
Reyna held her child to her chest, staring down at his serene face as he looked up at her curiously. Robin and Regina stood opposite of her, looking at the baby girl in Robin's arms with the same wonder that graced her features. Killian stepped up to her shoulder, looking down at his sister and his nephew.
"He has your eyes," Killian said, smiling down at his sister.
She nodded, before turning towards Peter, who was hovering by the door, looking unsure of himself. She held out a hand, waving him forward. He stepped forward hesitantly, taking her hand. Smiling, she pulled him closer, standing up. She held the baby out, nodding encouragingly. Peter looked apprehensive and a tab bit disgusted, but nonetheless accepted the babe into his arms. Reyna helped position him, before dropping her hands, grinning at her work.
Peter looked down at the infant, watching curiously as it yawned before opening its eyes, revealing a wide pair of violet eyes that looked like small universes, flecks of green sparkling randomly like twinkling stars. As he examined it, it seemed to smile up at him. His breath caught slightly at the sudden feeling of protectiveness and love that seemed to well-up, making his heart beat a little faster. While it was nothing compared to the same feelings he felt for Reyna, it terrified him to know that he was feeling anything remotely like it for something other than her. Suddenly feeling overwhelmed, he passed the baby back to Reyna, practically dropping it into her arms.
She saw the emotions flicker across his eyes. As soon as the fear hit, she already held her arms out, expecting his reaction. She cradled their son to her, looking up at his scared expression. She offered him a quick smile, leaning into his side. "Thank you," she murmured, resting her head on his shoulder. He wrapped an arm around her, quietly looking down at her, his face blank.
"Have you named them?" Emma asked, looking curiously between the two couples, unknowingly breaking the moment for Reyna and Peter. "Either of you?"
Regina looked up from Robin, shaking her head. "There's a lot Hades could do with a name. We should wait until this mess is all taken care of." Emma nodded, understanding the need for caution.
Belle, who was sitting at the table next to Snow and David, looked up from her glass of tea. "Where's Rumple?"
Reyna cast a look at Peter, who smirked, clearly having been waiting for the question.
"I guess you don't know your husband as well as you thought you did, lass," Peter said, stepping closer to her and dropping the dagger onto to table. It landed with a loud thud, the name 'Rumplestiltskin' standing out in dark letters. Belle gasped, shaking her head.
"You're… You're lying. He… didn't. He wouldn't."
Reyna silently passed her son to Emma, who cradled him closely with a smile at Hook, who seemed absolutely mesmirized by his nephew.
"I'm sorry, Belle. It's why he came down here in the first place. Peter didn't give him a choice. He destroyed my sacrifice because he wasn't willing to live without the power."
Belle's hands shook, and Peter's smirk seemed to get wider. "Oh, but it gets better." He waved a hand, and a scroll appeared. "Were you aware that you are with child? And that said child has already been sold, to Hades? Sold since before even you were born."
Belle looked at him in teary disbelief, pressing a hand to her abdomen. "I'm…pregnant? I'm going to have a baby. A baby that Rumple has already sold." She looked like she was going to be sick. "I need to lie down…"
Peter chuckled as Belle ran out of the room, pulling Reyna into her side. "My brother is going to die a painful death, just after I have taken everything else from him." Reyna looked after Belle sadly, but nodded nonetheless.
"How did you know all that?" Reyna asked him quietly. There was some information that she knew Peter had no business knowing.
"No one pays attention to what Felix goes and does, love. He's inconsequential, even to Hades."
