Chapter 4: The Demon Within

Lucy stirred on Lisa's bed as she slowly began waking up. The rest of the family had returned to Lisa's room as soon as Lucy showed signs of waking up. Lisa stood by Lucy's side as she slowly opened her eyes, grunting weakly. Once her eyes were fully opened, she began looking around and then met Lisa's gaze.

"L-Lucy, you alright?" Lisa asked the goth sibling nervously.

Lucy began trembling and shaking, clearly still shaken up from what happened in the basement. She began struggling once she noticed the strape jacket on her, clearly not wanting to be restrained. Lucy growled as she shook herself violently, trying to free herself, but the strape jacket was far too strong to break out of.

"Release me!" Lucy hissed, glaring coldly at Lisa.

"I'm afraid I can't do that, Lucy," Lisa said, shaking her head. "You attempted to kill Lynn down in the basement, and your mind is clearly unstable from whatever you witnessed down there. Until you've recovered, I have no choice but to keep you restrained for your safety and the safety of those around you".

"RELEASE ME NOW!" Lucy screeched, struggling even more violently.

"I can't, Lucy," Lisa said calmly. "I can't allow you to hurt anyone. I don't know what you went through down in the basement, but whatever it was, I need to know. I need you to tell me what you saw down there, and I need you to give me as much detail as you can".

Lucy shook her head violently and continued to struggle.

"NO! NO! CAN'T LET IT IN! CAN'T! ET HOC NON INTRABIT IN ILLUD DEI ORGANUM!" Lucy yelled, struggling even more.

Lisa felt her heart jump when Lucy spoke that last part in Latin. She knew what it meant, and it really worried her.

"Lisa, what the hell was she saying? I didn't understand that last part Lucy said" Lori asked, her voice on edge.

"Lucy was saying, "You shall not enter this vessel of God" Lisa replied, her voice filled with concern and fear.

"What is that even supposed to mean?" Leni asked in confusion.

Before Lisa could respond, Lucy let out a loud wail of agony, and then she made a sound that almost made everyone in the room soil themselves in fear. A loud inhuman roar came out of Lucy which sounded very similar to the roaring sounds that monster in the basement made earlier when it attacked Dr. J and killed the other scientist. After letting out that horrifying sound, Lucy began yelling in Latin again.

"ET HOC NON INTRABIT IN ILLUD DEI ORGANUM! NO, GET OUT!" she screamed, flailing like crazy.

"W-what the hell?! What's happening to Lucy?!" Rita exclaimed in horror.

"Tell me I imagined that" Lynn Sr trembled in fright.

"That sound... It sounded just like that beast in the basement" Lori stammered.

"L-Lisa, what do we do?" Leni asked, her voice filled with fear.

Lisa wasn't sure what to do in this current situation, but after hearing Lucy make such inhuman sounds, she pulled the cross necklace out of her pocket and quickly laid it on top of Lucy's chest. As soon as the cross necklace made physical contact with Lucy, she began to suddenly calm down a bit, but still growled and clenched her teeth as if fighting whatever insanity had gripped her mind.

"She... she stopped" Lola said in surprise.

"That necklace must be doing it somehow" Lana guessed.

"Is she possessed or something?" Luna asked fearfully.

"I don't know for sure," Lisa replied. "But after hearing Lucy make those horrible sounds, I think I'm beginning to understand what's happening now".

"And what do you mean by that?" Rita asked, even more nervous than ever.

"I don't know if I'm right, but I can't think of any other possible answer," Lisa began, glancing at Lucy. "I think Lucy might have seen the probe's footage just like the third scientist did, and when whatever it was that turned him into the monster I saw on the cameras tried to do the same to Lucy, it wasn't able to do it successfully because of the cross necklace she had in her pocket. Despite that though, I think some of it may have still entered Lucy and is trying to take full control of her as I speak".

Upon the realization of what Lisa was suggesting, Rita's eyes widened in absolute terror, and so did everyone else's.

"N-no! You mean to suggest that Lucy is possessed by the same thing that transformed the missing scientist into the monster that attacked Dr. J?!" She exclaimed in abject horror.

"Judging by how erratic Lucy's mind is and how insane she's acting, it would seem that's the case" Lisa replied.

Lucy panted softly, now seeming less violent and psychotic, but still heavily disturbed. The rest of her family gazed at her with sorrowful expressions, fearing for the goth siblings' life.

"Is Lucy like…. possessed by a demon?! Is that what you're suggesting?!" Lincoln asked in shock and disbelief.

"If that's the case, can't someone just perform an exorcism or something on Lucy?" Luan wondered.

Before anyone could answer, Lucy suddenly began speaking. Lisa instantly turned to face her, as did the rest of the family.

"N-no… not…," Lucy rasped, then coughed. "Not… safe. No one… safe".

"I don't understand. What do you mean no one is safe? Just what happened down in the basement?" Lisa asked, confused.

Lucy trembled in fright upon being asked that question, yet she tried as hard as she could to compose herself. With the cross necklace on her chest, Lucy seemed a bit more stable than before, but clearly still showed signs of bad psychological trauma.

"I… I saw…. on the screens…," Lucy stammered, pausing for a few seconds. "It… it was…".

She began shaking and whimpering softly, too scared to continue. Lisa now knew that Lucy had in fact looked at the computer terminal screens when the probe booted back up. This meant that she bore witness to whatever horrors the probe saw on the other side of the portal. Lisa remembered hearing those horrid screams of men and women over the speakers of her laptop, followed by unintelligible moans and deep voices. She was pretty sure they came from the probe's audio recorders when it was still on the other side of the portal, making Lisa wonder just what kind of nightmare Lucy had been forced to endure while in the basement vents.

"What did you see? Tell me" Lisa urged.

Lucy clenched her teeth and began shaking her head, growling and struggling once more.

"N-no! Its… here again! NO!" Lucy suddenly yelled.

"What's here? Lucy, what's going on? What's happening to you?!" Lisa demanded in a pleading voice.

"MY HEAD! IT'S IN MY HEAD! GET IT OUT! DON'T LET ME GO!" Lucy pleaded, now crying tears of blood again.

Out of instinct, Rita ran over to Lucy and grabbed her cheeks with both hands.

"We won't leave you, Lucy! Please, tell us what happened!" she pleaded.

What Lucy did next sent a wave of terror through not only Rita, but the rest of the family as well. She spun her head around and bit Rita on the hand so hard that it drew blood, then her hair fell back to reveal that Lucy's eyes were actually glowing red.

"Satan's Wrath has fallen upon thee who hath looked upon the sights of Hell! Woe to thee who hath gazed upon the kingdom of Lucifer and his demons!" Lucy snarled in a deep, demonic male voice that sounded completely inhuman.

Color drained from the faces of everyone in the room as Lucy continued to struggle on Lisa's bed.

"W-what… what the hell?!" Rita stammered in horror.

As soon as she said that, Lucy suddenly stopped struggling and looked directly at Rita with an evil sneer and glowing red eyes.

"Hell is only a word. The reality is so much more terrifying!" Lucy said in that demonic voice.

"Who are you?! You're not my daughter!" Rita yelled in both horror and anger.

Lucy suddenly struggled again and let out a yell of anguish and pain as her eyes stopped glowing.

"IT'S IN ME! IT WANTS ME!" she screamed.

The reality of what was happening sank in, and Lisa had no choice but to accept it. She now began to understand what had really happened in the basement, and it was clear that her theories about the missing scientist were clearly correct.

"Lisa, what's happening to her?!" Rita yelled, now in tears.

Lisa trembled as she tried to find the right words, but had a hard time getting them out.

"She… she's possessed, just like the third scientist," Lisa stammered while trying not to panic. "I think my theories on what happened in the basement were correct, and it now makes sense as to why Dr. J killed herself".

"What are you talking about? What theories?" Lynn Sr demanded.

"The third scientist got possessed by looking at the footage from the probe as it was recording on the other side of the portal, and that's why he transformed into that monster I saw on my computer screen," Lisa explained. "And I think Dr. J did as well, and that's why she shot herself. She was acting the same way Lucy is now. It all makes sense!".

"But how? If your theories are true, then why didn't Dr. J transform like the missing scientist did?" Lori asked in confusion.

"I don't know, but what just happened now confirms that my theories were all correct," Lisa replied. "I need to destroy the probes footage, and as for the flashdrive with the backup footage, I'm getting rid of that too. It's clear that whatever's on it isn't safe for human eyes".

"Lisa," Leni began in a trembling voice while glancing at Lucy, who was still growling and struggling on the bed. "You said Dr. J and the third scientist were possessed from looking at the probes footage. If Lucy also looked at it, then does that mean that… that she…"

"Yes, it does" Lisa replied gravely.

Everyone gazed at Lucy with horrified expressions as they all realized what this meant. She had been possessed by whatever evil spirit had found its way inside her when she gazed at the footage sent from the probe.

"N-no! This is madness!" Leni exclaimed in abject horror.

Lucy suddenly turned her head to face Leni, and everyone saw that horrible red glow return in her eyes.

"Oh, my dear… you don't even know the true meaning of madness. This child's mind has seen so much of it that breaking her will and possessing her flesh entirely will be only a matter of time" Lucy sneered, speaking in that evil male demonic voice.

Everyone trembled in fear, and Lily whimpered in fright, but Lisa stepped forward and glared coldly at whatever was possessing her sister.

"Who are you? And what have you done to my sister?!" Lisa demanded, trying to hide the fear within her voice.

"Who I am isn't important," the evil spirit replied. "All you need to know is that Lucy's body will soon be mine. Her soul continues to fight me within her own body, and the crucifix around her neck is also amplifying her resistance to my power. However, Lucy will eventually fail once I've tortured her mind enough to the point where she can no longer hold me back, even with the crucifix, and I will claim her body as my new vessel".

Lisa felt the blood in her veins go cold upon taking everything the evil spirit inside her just said, and so did everyone else's. The crucifix around Lucy's neck appeared to be holding the spirit back somehow, and Lucy was constantly trying to fight its control over her, yet it was clear she was losing. The spirit was torturing Lucy's mind, body, and soul, and she didn't appear to be winning against it.

"L-let my daughter go, you monster!" Lynn Sr suddenly yelled.

Lucy spun her head towards him and glared coldly at him.

"Trying to act tough, are you now?! You're nothing but a coward, Lynn Sr!" Possessed Lucy hissed.

"W-what the?!" Lynn Sr exclaimed in horror upon hearing the monster inside Lucy speak his name.

"I know who you are! I know who you ALL are! I know what she knows, and that includes her memories as well. When I entered Lucy's body, I obtained all her memories and every bit of knowledge within her mind, including your weaknesses," the evil demon inside Lucy growled. "My kind absorb the memories and knowledge of any human they possess, and this girl is no different".

Everyone felt terror rushing through every inch of their bodies as the evil demon said this, but Lynn Jr suddenly ran out of the room without warning, catching her family by surprise.

"Lynn, where are you going?" Lana called out.

"Coward!" Demon Lucy mocked with an evil grin.

"Leave my sister alone, you monster!" Lola yelled.

"Such bold words coming from a selfish minded bitch like you, Lola Loud," Demon Lucy sneered coldly. "Always trying to act high and mighty towards your family and friends, yet in reality, you're only a pathetic weakling and a coward who only cares about herself. You're no princess! You're nothing but a sinful minded twat who can't help but use others to get what you want!".

Lola and the rest of the family were all visibly shocked and horrified. Lily whimpered in fear. Lola however, looked absolutely disgusted, angry, and hurt.

"You…. YOU TAKE THAT BACK!" Lola screamed angrily with tears forming in her eyes.

"Or what?!" Demon Lucy hissed.

"Lola, it's not Lucy! Don't listen to it!" Lana urged, grabbing Lola as she suddenly tried rushing at Lucy.

"Such weakness! It's like music to me" Demon Lucy mocked.

"We're not weak, and neither is Lucy," Lincoln snapped, stepping towards his possessed sister. "She's stronger than you know, and she won't let herself fall prey to a monster like you that easily!".

"Is that so? Then answer me this, Lincoln Loud," Demon Lucy hissed. "Why do you think I was able to possess your sister so easily? It's because her mind was weak. All human minds are weak!".

"That's where you're wrong!" A voice yelled from the doorway.

Everyone turned to see Lynn Jr standing in the doorway with something in her hand. It appeared to be a small glass bottle with a Christian cross emblem on it.

"Lynn!" Luna exclaimed as the young athlete rushed towards Lucy, pulling the cork off the glass bottle.

"You won't hurt my sister any longer, you disgusting spawn of Hell!" Lynn declared, raising the bottle above Lucy.

"What are you doing?" Demon Lucy demanded.

"Freeing my sister from the likes of you, THAT'S what!" Lynn snapped, then poured the contents of the bottle all over Lucy.

As soon as the water from inside the bottle spilled all over Lucy, the demon inside her began screeching and roaring in agony, then began struggling like crazy.

"AUGGGGGH! YOU WRETCHED HUMAN SCUM! IT BURNS!" Demon Lucy roared in agony.

"Lynn, what was in that bottle?!" Rita yelled over Lucy's demonic screams of agony.

"Holy water," Lynn replied. "Lucy kept some of it in her drawers. I always had a feeling they'd be useful for something someday".

As the monster inside Lucy continued screaming, a strange black cloud of smoke began flowing out of Lucy's ears, mouth, nose, and eyes. The smoke began forming a shape above Lucy as more and more of it exited her body. The shape it took looked similar to the shape of the same demon seen on the security camera footage. Everyone realized that this was the demon that had been possessing Lucy, and it continued screeching even after it had left her body. Lucy stopped moving and the red glow left her eyes after the demon was cast out of her. The smokey haze screeched in both pain and rage as it tried to possess Lucy again, but the holy water prevented the demon from touching her.

"Go back to Hell where you belong, you beast!" Lynn hissed at the evil spirit.

Enraged, the demon rushed towards Lynn, but it was suddenly pulled towards the door by some invisible force. Its smokey eyes widened in shock as it was dragged out of the room and away from the family. Out of instinct, Lisa rushed towards her laptop and switched the security camera view to the basement and saw the demon being pulled into the red glowing portal in the wall.

"It… it's gone" Lisa informed, glancing over to Lucy.

The goth sibling was unconscious, but clearly alive as her chest moved up and down. Lynn placed her hands on Lucy, shaking her gently.

"Lucy, you alright? Wake up!" She urged.

Lucy suddenly gasped for air, then opened her eyes and coughed. Her eyes were no longer red or bloodshot; they were blue again. Her skin color had also returned to its normal light grey color, and any signs of the evil that had been inside Lucy were now gone completely. The holy water had cast the demon out of her body, freeing her from its evil control.

"L-Lynn?" Lucy asked in a weak voice, turning her head to face her.

"Lucy!" Lynn cried out in relief, hugging Lucy tightly.

"My baby!" Rita exclaimed joyfully, rushing up and hugging the goth sibling as well.

"Is she back to normal?" Lola asked, still a bit nervous.

"Yeah," Lynn replied. "That holy water cast the demon out of her, so I don't think we'll have to worry about Lucy going crazy again anytime soon".

Rita turned towards the young athlete with tears of joy in her eyes, then hugged her tightly.

"Lynn, you saved Lucy from such a terrible fate! I'm so proud of you!" Rita said, embracing Lynn tightly.

"Lynn's a hero!" Lana said joyfully.

The rest of the family took turns hugging Lynn as Lucy tried sitting up, but found it hard to do so since she was still in the strape jacket. Lisa took notice and helped Lucy sit up on the bed.

"Easy there, Lucy. You sure took it rough with that demon inside you" she said, loosening the straps on the jacket.

Lucy trembled as Lisa fully undid the strape jacket, allowing her to move freely.

"You sure letting Lucy out of that thing is a good idea?" Lori asked in concern.

"The evil spirit has left Lucy, so it should be safe now" Lisa replied.

Lucy felt weak and sore in so many areas as she sat up, then began speaking in a weak and troubled voice.

"That… that monster! I couldn't fight its control," Lucy trembled. "When I looked into the screens in the basement… it invaded my mind. It… it used me, controlled me! It took everything I had to fight the demons' control over my mind. I… I couldn't control my actions or judgment".

"It wasn't your fault, Lucy," Lisa assured her. "That monster was affecting your mind, but now that it's gone, you should be fine. That was still a very close call though. Had Lynn not thought of the holy water, you might have ended up facing the same fate as the third scientist in the basement".

"She really saved your life there, Lucy. We all feared the worst was gonna happen" Leni said.

"That monster called us horrible names!" Lola huffed, remembering the horrible words that demon had said to her and her family.

"Demon was a meanie" Lily added.

"Well, he won't be terrorizing us anymore. Hopefully, he'll stay back in Hell where he belongs" Lynn Jr said.

"Speaking of that," Lisa began. "Is that what you saw on the screens in the basement?".

Lucy nodded slowly, still trembling.

"It… it was horrible! What I saw… it… it was so horrifying!" she stammered fearfully.

"What did it look like? I need to know exactly what you saw so that I can better understand what forces we're dealing with" Lisa pressed.

"I… can't explain it, but it was like torture, suffering, and pain on levels that I never even thought possible," Lucy replied. "So many human souls… all the ones who sinned against God and rejected him. They were there, and they were being tortured in ways that I can't explain".

"What do you mean you can't explain it?" Lisa asked in confusion.

"It's because the human mind can't comprehend it," Lucy replied darkly. "Hell isn't something humans are meant to see. Were you to look upon Hell with your own eyes, you would go mad, and it's also how those monsters possess you".

Lisa felt her heart skip a beat. Lucy was beginning to shed more and more light on her theories with each explanation, and that one theory Lisa had about the footage transforming the third scientist into a demon had now been confirmed to be true.

"No way! So that means Lisa's theories about the probe's footage were all true?" Leni exclaimed in shock.

"It sure seems like it" Lori replied.

"There's something I don't get though," Luan interjected. "The third scientist transformed really quickly down in the basement, but Dr. J and Lucy didn't. Why did it take longer for them to transform?".

"I think this is the reason," Lisa pointed at the cross necklace still laying on Lucy's chest, which now looked like it had been charred black and burned. "The cross necklace must have somehow prevented the demon from fully possessing Lucy. As soon as I placed it on her, she seemed to calm down a bit".

"Obviously, it wasn't enough. That demon was taking control of her mind" Luna said objectively.

"The cross is blessed, so it must have held the demon back enough to only the point where it could speak through Lucy, but not possess her entirely like with the missing scientist" Lisa speculated.

"And Dr. J? I don't think she had a cross necklace or anything holy on her, so why didn't she transform?" Luan asked.

"I'm not sure why that is," Lisa replied. "But I know now why Dr. J shot herself. She must have been possessed by a demonic spirit like Lucy and killed herself before it could take full control and transform her into a hideous demon beast like that scientist".

"Regardless, I'm just really happy that Lucy's safe" Rita said, hugging Lucy.

"There's no time to celebrate," Lisa inquired. "We need to call the cops to deal with the murder scene in the basement, and as for the probes footage, I'll be getting rid of it entirely. That includes the backup footage as well".

"You mean the flash drive you copied the footage to?" Lori asked.

"Yes," Lisa nodded. "What Lucy just said proves that no human can gaze upon it without becoming possessed. I need to destroy the flashdrive entirely in case someone were to try and recover the deleted footage".

"And what about the portal? Since we know now that it obviously leads to Hell itself, it needs to be closed up for sure" Luan inquired.

"But how? We don't even know how that grimoire works" Lola said.

'That's why I need to study it and figure out how the spells and rituals in it work. The sooner I do that, the sooner I might find a way to close that portal" Lisa replied.

"You don't think the cops will want the grimoire as evidence, will they?" Luna asked worriedly.

"I don't know, but if they do, I'll have to try and reason with them," Lisa replied. "That book is the only key to sealing that portal for good, and it might help us figure out how to fight that demon that escaped the basement".

"Then maybe hide the book before-" Luan began, but was cut off when loud knocking could suddenly be heard downstairs.

"Sounds like someones at the door" Lynn Sr said.

"Hang on, I'll see who it is" Lisa said, then checked the security cameras on the laptop.

What she saw sent a wave of fear down her spine. The security camera positioned near the front door outside the house showed two large men in black suits standing near the door, reminding Lisa of the men in black. There were also two black unmarked SUVs parked near the front of the house which looked similar to government vehicles. The agent on the left had a James Bond like appearance with short blond hair and blue eyes, and the one on the right looked like a bald version of Chris Rock with black skin and green eyes. Both agents had serious expressions on their faces which made Lisa feel like they weren't the type of people who messed around.

"Uh, who are those guys?" Lincoln asked curiously.

"I think… they might be FBI or CIA agents by the looks of it" Lisa replied.

"Why are they here? No one called them" Lola wondered.

The two men knocked at the door again, but this time, one of them spoke.

"Mr and Mrs Loud, open up!" an agent commanded in a harsh tone of voice.

Everyone looked at each other with worried expressions.

"We're not seriously gonna let them in, are we?" Lori asked her parents.

The agents knocked more aggressively this time, and the other one warned them to either open up, or they'd open it by force. Upon hearing that threat, Rita and Lynn Sr nodded at each other.

"We'd better do as they say," Rita replied. "If they are FBI or CIA, we don't want to try anything foolish".

"But what about the probes footage? What if they see it?" Lincoln protested.

"I'm deleting it now" Lisa replied, typing furiously on her laptop.

"I'd better let them in before they think we're ignoring them" Rita said, heading out of the room and down the stairs.

As Lisa was in the process of deleting the probes footage, a loud roaring sound could suddenly be heard outside the house, followed by the sound of gunshots. The family quickly turned their attention to Lisa's laptop as she opened the security camera window that had been minimized, and what they saw sent a wave of fear down their spines. The same demon that had caused the bloodbath in the basement had returned, but this time, there were three other nightmarish demon beasts with it. These ones were much smaller than the first demon. They were about the size of a greyhound dog, and their appearances were slightly different as well, almost like something cross between a scorpion and a crocodile mixed together. The three smaller demons stood on four spider like limbs with sharp claws on the end, had scaly black reptile like skin with glowing red eyes, a badger like head with a long crocodile like snout filled with razor sharp teeth, crocodile like bodies, and long curved tails like a scorpion. On the end of their tails were razor sharp stingers with purplish venom dripping from the tips, only they were smooth and straight rather than curved like a real scorpion.

"OPEN UP, NOW! WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!" The blond haired agent yelled, firing at one of the scorpion-crocodile hybrid demons with a handgun as they charged, screeching loudly.

One the demons got hit in the leg, causing it to stumble on its side and screech loudly in pain. Several more agents piled out of the SUVs with military grade machine guns in hand and opened fire on the demons. This caused the other two scorpion demons and the large xenomorph-like demon to turn their attention to the other agents, screeching loudly in what could only be described as pure hatred and rage. The large demon screeched angrily as it charged at one of the SUVs, getting pelted with bullets in the process. They seemed to only slow the monster down, but didn't kill it. The scorpion demons were much faster though, and they managed to jump on one of the agents and jab their stingers into them. What happened next made the entire family watching everything unfold on the security camera footage nearly soil themselves. The agents that had been stung suddenly began screaming in both pain and agony as they fell to the ground, but then they suddenly began to transform. Their human forms began changing into much larger inhuman forms. Their clothes ripped off to reveal black scaly skin, and the agents began slowly transforming into the same type of Xenomorph demon that the missing scientist had transformed into earlier in the basement. Once the transformations were complete, the new demons roared loudly and joined in on attacking the other agents.

"W-what the hell?" Lori exclaimed in horror.

"Those scorpion monsters… their stingers transformed those other guys into one of them!" Lincoln exclaimed in pure terror.

Remembering that Rita was still downstairs, Lisa yelled out, "Mom, let those two guys in here before they get attacked! One of those demons turned several of their other guys into demons. Let them in before the same thing happens to them too!".

Rita wasted no time in opening the front door, quickly yelling at the two strange men in black to get inside. For a brief moment, Rita caught a glimpse of the chaos outside and saw a total of seven demons attacking the SUVs and the agents near them, then the two men in black quickly slammed the door shut once they entered the house and locked it. The injured scorpion demon pounded and scraped at the door, trying to get inside, but it's busted leg made that impossible. The other demons kept their attention on the other agents, who were slowly losing the fight. Their weapons had almost no effect on the hideous monsters except for slowing them down and injuring them. One of the remaining agents suddenly emerged from behind one of the SUVs with an RPG launcher and fired a rocket at the large xenomorph demon nearby, scoring a direct hit. The demon's entire left arm, neck, and head got blown apart into pieces, causing it to fall to the ground lifeless… or so it seemed. The family watched the live security feed in horror as the seemingly lifeless demon began to slowly regenerate; its body and head slowly healed itself.

"They… they can't die" Luna stammered in horror.

"No… Lisa was right. Man made weapons can't kill these things! What'll we do?!" Lynn Jr exclaimed in fear.

"I… I don't know, Lynn" Luan replied fearfully.

Lucy still lay on Lisa's bed, gazing at the carnage brewing on the screen. Tears of regret and sorrow ran down her face as she watched those horrible monsters slowly killing off the mysterious agents in black. Lucy knew all of this was her fault since she was the one who performed that gate opening ritual last night, and she realized that she not only put her own family in danger, but possibly the entire world in danger as well. Lucy had seen those scorpion-badger hybrid demons transform three of those men into one of them by stinging them, and this made Lucy realize that if humans couldn't kill them with conventional weapons like guns or rockets, then all of humanity could possibly face a fate worse than death. Lucy pictured those demons transforming the entire human race into demons like them with their stingers, trembling at such a terrifying thought.

"All of this is happening because of me. God, what have I done?!" Lucy thought with a deep sense of melancholy rushing through her.

The remaining agents began firing at the demons with RPG launchers and managed to blow several of the scorpion demons into pieces, but the new Xenomorph demons quickly charged at them and slashed their limbs off with their sharp claws and even managed to flip one of the SUVs over onto its side with its large tail alone. The remaining agents were soon overpowered and killed by the Xenomorph demons who then roared in triumph over their slaughter prey. Everyone staring at the security camera feed all watched in horror as the demons then turned their attention to the house, snarling. The demon leading them pointed at the house and screeched loudly, as if ordered his subjects to attack.

"Oh great! They're coming for us now!" Lori cursed.

Downstairs, Rita was currently demanding the two mysterious agents in black to explain just who they were and why they were here when the door suddenly started rattling violently, followed by angry demonic roars and snarls.

"Shit, those beasts are trying to get in! Nelson, load your weapon" the blond man ordered firmly.

"I doubt guns will stop them, but it'll slow them down if they break through" the black man said, loading his handgun.

Back upstairs, everyone began to grow frantic as they heard the demons trying to break down the door.

"Lisa, what'll we do if those abominations get inside the house? Guns clearly can't kill them, so we gotta think of something to stop them!" Lynn Sr asked frantically.

Lisa honestly didn't know what to do. She was pretty sure her laser gun wouldn't have much luck stopping those monsters either, but then she thought of the holy water she had used on Lucy to cast the evil demon out of her and began to form a plan.

"I think I have an idea that might work," Lisa began, then turned to Lucy. "Lucy, how many bottles of that holy water do you have in total?"

"Five, if I remember correctly" Lucy replied.

"Good," Lisa said, then turned to Luan. "You recently bought a crossbow for some of your pranks, right?".

"Yeah, I was gonna use it for a William Tell act of mine," Luan nodded. "Why are you asking me about that now?".

"Because I think I may have just figured out a way to actually kill those monsters downstairs" Lisa said, smiling.

"How?" Lola asked curiously.

"Simple," Lisa replied. "I'll dip the arrowheads into the holy water and then shoot them at the demons. It should hopefully kill them if the arrows are infused with water blessed by God himself. I'll also use my tranquilizer gun with Holy water infused darts to provide cover".

"That could work! Lisa, that's a genius idea" Lincoln said, eyes widening.

"Alright then," Lisa said, glancing over at Lucy and Luan. "You two fetch the holy water and the crossbow while I prepare the tranquilizer gun".

"Don't need to tell us twice" Luan said, rushing out of the room with Lucy following behind her.

As they headed down the hall to their rooms, the demons could be heard roaring and pounding on the front door downstairs. The two agents had their guns at the ready and pointed at the front door in case the monsters got in, but Rita began to panic and backed up towards the stairs, not wanting to risk being attacked or turned into one of those monsters. As Lisa prepped her tranquilizer gun, she felt a tense wave of fear rush through her. The entire family was in for the fight of their lives, and it frightened Lisa. Although she had figured out a way to kill them, Lisa knew that these monsters were still very powerful and dangerous. She had seen what those scorpion demons were capable of, and she knew that just one sting from one of them would turn her and anyone else it stung into a demon like those unlucky agents out there had been.

"Lisa, you sure that holy water trick will work?" Lincoln asked unsurely.

"I'm sure it will, but we still have to be very careful. These demons are powerful, and they may not be easy to take down right away. Especially given the fact that some of them used to be secret agents" Lisa replied.

"What does that have to do with it?" Lincoln asked in confusion.

"Remember what that demon spirit possessing Lucy said about their kind absorbing the knowledge and memories of their human hosts they possess?" Lisa reminded.

"Yeah, I remember that" Lincoln nodded.

"Yes," Lisa continued as she readied seven darts. "Well, since three of those demons possessed agents of what I can only assume belong to the FBI or CIA, this means they know everything about them. Their memories, their fighting and tactical skills, everything. That means those specific demons will have a better chance of standing up to us, and they'll be more prepared for our attacks. That one trait is what makes them so dangerous and powerful".

"Oh no! I… I think I'm starting to get what you're saying now," Lincoln realized with a shocked face. "Those monsters that possessed the agents! They… they have their memories! That means they might be able to figure out how to beat us more quickly".

"I doubt they'll figure out what we're planning that quickly, but once we start attacking, the demons will catch on and make things harder for us. That means we need to take out the xenomorph demons before killing the others so that they don't gain the upper hand in figuring out our strategies" Lisa explained.

"Xenomorphs? Is that what we're calling them now?" Luna asked with an eyebrow raised.

"Since their heads resemble a Xenomorphs head, I find it necessary to classify them by that name" Lisa replied.

"Those scorpion ones seem more dangerous though since they can turn other people into demons with their stingers" Leni pointed out.

"I'm aware of that," Lisa replied, laying the darts on her desk. "Those are the ones we need to watch out for. If they manage to sting any of us, we're done for".

"What I don't understand is how the scorpion beasts got here in the first place. From what we've seen, those demons only gain access to our world by possessing people who look at the probes footage" Luna said.

"Maybe that's not the only way they can enter our world. There's still a lot about these beasts we still don't know about" Lincoln pointed out.

"We'll worry about that later. Right now, we need to deal with those monsters downstairs" Lisa replied.

Luan and Lucy suddenly returned with the holy water and crossbow. Luan also had ten arrows with her that had sharp edged hunting arrowheads on them. Everyone wondered why Luan would have such dangerous heads on those arrows, but they didn't care that much about it at this point. All of their lives were on the line.

"We got the crossbow and holy water" Luan announced.

"This is my biggest bottle too. It should have more than enough to meet your requirements, I presume?" Lucy asked Lisa as she handed her the 2 liter sized bottle of holy water.

"This is better than that. There's enough for me to load all my tranquilizer darts and to soak the arrowheads in" Lisa said, looking very pleased.

The banging and snarling downstairs began to intensify as Lisa began filling the seven tranquilizer darts on her desk with holy water. The bottle's opening was also wide enough to dip the hunting arrows in, so Lisa began dunking them in the holy water, making sure to soak them real good. Once she was done prepping everything, Rita suddenly ran back into the room looking panicked.

"Those beasts are trying to get in the house! We need to get out of here!" She urged everyone in a terrified voice.

"There's no need for that," Lisa said as she loaded her tranquilizer gun with the holy water darts. "I figured out how to get rid of them for good this time".

"How? Those other men outside had no luck taking them out. Even those rocket launchers they used couldn't kill those monsters" Rita exclaimed in confusion.

"I've infused several tranquilizer darts with Lucy's holy water, and I've soaked ten arrows for Luan's crossbow. The holy water seems to be one of the only things that can kill those demons" Lisa explained.

"What?! You're not seriously considering letting those beasts in the house, are you?!" Rita gasped in horror.

"No," Lisa replied. "I'll try and draw their attention away from the front door so that I can get a clear shot at them from the window. Once the beasts are in range, me and Luan will open fire on them".

"How do you plan on getting their attention?" Lola asked.

Before Lisa could answer, a loud crashing sound could be heard from downstairs, followed by wood crunching and gunshots.

"THEY'RE HERE!" one of the agents yelled from downstairs.

"Change of plans," Lisa said, picking up the tranquilizer gun. "We're gonna have to kill the beasts downstairs before they raid the rest of the house".

Luan quickly grabbed her crossbow and ten arrows, then headed out into the hall with their hearts pounding fearfully as they knew they'd soon be facing a fight against demons straight from Hell itself. This was a fight they couldn't afford to lose, or else the entire family was done for. Lisa and Luan braced themselves for combat as they headed towards the stairs, preparing for the fight of their lives.

A/N: Looks like things just got real! Will Lisa and Luan be able to wipe out the evil beasts before they raid the Loud House and transform everyone else into monsters as well? You'll find out soon enough.
