Mr. Suzuki eventually returned on the stage and stood in front of the platform in order to make an announcement, "So I just received word that the food isn't quite ready yet…but never fear the interns are here!"
"Our wonderful interns have assembled and created some fun Icebreakers for you all to participate in while we wait for the go ahead. They are currently passing out…the first game so I will let them take over and provide you all further directions." He was explaining while gesturing to the interns that were presently on the ballroom floor before one of them was replacing the man at the podium.
"Alrighty everyone, good afternoon! We have some fun Icebreakers to kinda of break the ice between the individuals at your table. Without further ado the first game is….BINGO!" A young woman eagerly broadcasts with a smile on her face.
"Now our version is a little different because we won't call out the letters and numbers to see who will reach BINGO first, instead we want to see how many BINGOs your table is able to make. Remember, it's a game for you to get to know your tablemates." She explained how they will play the game as she held up a sheet for further emphasis.
"Oh and as you all know, everyone has the free space so mark that off with your table number, please. Set the timer to five minutes and…start!"
At the same time...
[Table 59]
Their eyes watch as an intern, who beams a smile as she approaches the table, hands a sheet of paper over to Takao since he was the closest to her.
His eyes quickly scanned the options available before he diverted his gaze over to his right until it finally landed on an indigo haired boy.
"Hey Ian," The bluenette was casually addressing him by his name before suddenly inquiring, "Haven't you broken an arm or leg before?"
"Yeah, I've broken my leg before but that was during our rigorous training with Boris at the Abbey." Ian discloses while he folds his arms in front of his chest.
"I've broken an arm during a three-on-three game of hoops. Talk about a major bomb." Eddy also chimes in front the opposite end of Takao while he rubs his arm.
Ian deeply releases a sigh before he admits to the group, "It was never the same, had to change how I launched my blade and everything."
The indigo haired boy marked the square for "Has broken and arm or leg" with his initials and handed it off to the left of him.
"I've changed a diaper before and let me tell you…it isn't pretty." Mao was dramatically acknowledging once her eyes was scanning the blocks on the paper when her sights were landing on "Has changed a diaper"
"Tell me about it. My village has way too many babies in diapers. Talk about a stink fest!" Joseph verbally complains with a shrug of his shoulders while she marks her initials on the square.
"Oh, I have Lee as an older sibling. Anybody else have siblings?" She voiced after she peeked up from the paper to see if anyone else have any siblings.
"You all already know about Raul and I with us being twins and all." Julia verbalizes as she aimlessly gestures over to a table where she assumes her twin sits.
"I have an older brother." Takao was chiming in with a shrug of his shoulders before passing the paper back until it was reaching the blunette's grasp.
Hiromi promptly spoke up to add, "Actually, we all just attended a live sporting event not too long ago."
"Yeah, where you just dropped the most nuclear atomic bomb ever known to mankind," Julia was jokingly teasing her with a smile on her face.
"Could we please just let that go?" The brunette enquiringly poses with a mix expression of dread and irritation present in her tone and facial expression.
"Uhm, no ma'am! The media is eating it all up." The young lady teasingly prodded while she leaned her chin against the palm of her propped up arm tilted her to the left and stared at her.
"Stop teasing her Julia," Miguel was playfully reprimanding the brunette to the right of him before finishing up with, "Although...there has been non-stop coverage of your grand beyblading debut on major Sports channels."
"Good one!" She exclaims in agreement before they instinctively execute a high-five to each other after his statement.
"Okay so let's mark that one off…and oh…we've scored our first BINGO." Takao eventually announced once Hiromi signed the paper and saw a diagonal BINGO.
[Table 24]
"I still can't believe you're from Qidong. I would've thought you were a city girl." Rewas muttered in shock after the brunette revealed the name of her hometown.
"Really?!" Wenling shockingly quipped at the fact that the young man presumed that she was from a more urban setting.
"Now that you mention it Rei…she does have this air about her no?" Lee chimes in with his opinion of the girl as he closes his eyes and folds his arms in front of his chest.
"Oh please don't say that," She was pleading with a rare solemn expression on her facial expression, which was only earning a comment from Emily, "They say that about all the girls when they try and flirt with us."
"Agreed, it's too much testosterone pumping to their brains." Mariam was quickly agreeing with the other girls by nodding her head.
A pair of eyes to her left instantly cast over to the blue haired girl when Spencer irritably jawed, "That's such a bias generalization of guys."
"I know he didn't just say a bias generalization? Ha! I'd say it is more like a truthful observation." Emily belittles the normally quiet blonde opinion with a roll of her eyes.
"Alright, alright, let's not go any further. Shall we?" Rei was abruptly attempting to divert the topic of their conversation back to the topic at hand.
"That's definitely uncharted water, we don't want to tread." Aaron sternly advised since their conversation has been going on ever since the existence of mankind was even born.
"We're wasting time! We need to do this BINGO game!" Lee was promptly reminding them as he was pointing at the paper in the orange girl's hands.
Her brown eyes then scan the paper until she spots one that could apply to their table, when she poses, "Rei didn't you use to live in China before you moved to Japan?"
The raven haired male simply nodded his head a "yes" before Emily passed the paper to him so he could sign his initials on "Lived in another country".
"I swim in my spare time, especially in the lake near my village." Miriam was disclosing after managing to get a peek at the paper from across the table.
The blue haired woman patiently waits until the sheet eventually lands in front of her so she could write her name on the box "Swims in their spare time".
"The PBB All-Starz recently went to a Ming Ming concert." Emily recalled about an event she attended that matched with one of the BINGO boxes.
"And how was that?" Spencer curiously wonders as the participants shuffle the paper until it reaches around to the orange haired teen.
She was deeply sighing, cleaning her glasses and sincerely remarking, "For a lack of better words…mandatory."
"Of course, we've all been to a live sporting event. We're practically playing in one." The young girl then declares with a "humph" and a smirk present on her face.
"So we've scored our first BINGO." Rei cheerfully announced to the group with a small smile on his face.
[Table 17]
"So I guess I'll take over for the bingo then," Michael declared to no one in particular while he scanned the faces of those at the table.
"Let's see…has anyone been to a concert in the last six months?" He posed the next question, which was only met with silence until he followed up with, "I'll take that as a no…uhm likes to go camping?"
Gary silently raises his hand so the orange haired male can see, "Great, go ahead and marked that one down."
Everyone was watching as the tallest yet quietest member of White Tiger X marking the box with a 'G' before handing it back over to Michael.
"Next one, has anyone performed on stage?"
"I have." All eyes were now directed toward the captain of the all-girls team Yuan, who barely murmured a word since their arrival at the table.
"Oh…I've been surfing before." The blonde was suddenly breaking the silence that was quickly settling back in at their table again.
The captain of PPB AllStarz voices after he signs his initials on the paper while he asks, "Has anyone broken an arm or leg?"
"Me" A teen, with red hair, verbalizes as he lifts his mouth over his high neck collar before he waits for the paper to reach him.
'Number six is a definite no for anyone at this table.' The young man deems while his eyes read "Likes to dance in public" as he inquiries, "Anyone introduced someone by the wrong name?"
A pair of obsidian eyes cast over to the blonde before a voice honestly revealed "I have" along with a placid expression on their face.
"Now that's interesting." Tala comments while he leans back and curiously eyes the captain of the Yuan with a keen gleam in his eyes.
"Speaks three languages?" Michael quickly follows up with another question before he passes the paper to the young lady.
"Russian, German and French" The raven haired teenager discloses the three languages that she is fluent in with while she marks her initials in "Speaks 3 language".
"Talk about multilingual," Claude annoyingly comments with a slight roll of his eyes at her ability to hold a conversation in more than one language.
Michael's blue eyes spot "was born outside of Antarctica" when he deems, 'Oh I can mark off 18 since it applies to everyone, so then 23 would give us a BINGO.'
"Okay, so does anyone like spicy foods?" He curiously poses after the sheet circulates back within his grasp.
"Spice is the way of life." Gary unexpectedly recites brfore Michael casually passes the paper to the next person until it reaches the White Tiger X member.
"So we've finally got our first BINGO," The blonde happily chimes in once he notices the vertical BINGO.
[Table 68]
"We're playing BINGO? Oh, I love games!" Max cheerfully exclaimed after one of the interns handed him the BINGO paper.
"So we have to see how many BINGOs we can possibly make that apply to our table members." Ozuma was purposely repeating the instructions again for the table incase someone did not pay attention.
"Talk about a complete waste of time." Rick annoyingly grumbled while he propped his arm on the table and faced away from the group.
"It doesn't look that bad." Audrey was honestly gauging after peering at the paper in the blonde's hand before commenting, "Like…I've been surfing and swimming in my spare time. Oh and I've recently flown in an airplane too."
"That's three out of 25 choices." Ozuma mentioned after he counted the empty squares that she did not sign.
The group eventually pass the paper around until Raul spots a few clues that applies to him, "My sister and I have our own website for people to book us. So I guess you can also mark off likes to dance, dances in public and play an instrument."
"I love spicy food! Some Spicy Mapo Tofu sounds so good right about now!" Kevin was hungrily proclaiming as he was envisioning the bowl of food after he noticing "Likes spicy foods".
"So go ahead and sign it," Max urges while his eyes spot that they were two clues away from a BINGO, "Has anyone changed a diaper and/or read more than 30 books?"
Kevin then Bryan raised their hands before they waited to sign their initials on the paper.
"Finally our first BINGO!" Kevin announces to the people at his table
[Table 41]
"Wait…are the coaches doing one too?" Barthez was challenging after spotting an intern approaching their table with a small smile on her face.
"We encourage everyone to participate in our game. Even, Mr. Dickerson is being such a good sport and playing along with his table mates." The young woman firmly conveys as she points her head in the direction of a table where Mr. D presently sits with other executives.
"It's just a game of BINGO not pulling teeth Barthez," Boris, head coach of the Blitzkreig Boys, stated with his arms in front of his chest accompanied with a serious expression on his face.
"It's called an icebreaker for a release so let's break the ice." Judy was breaking it down for the young bluenette male.
"One must remain knowledgeable about their enemy, even if they're four gorgeous babes at the table. Master Tao recited while his eyes passed over the coaches that currently sat at the table with him.
The blonde woman loudly releases an "ahem" at the older man's comment at his miscalculation of women that presently sits at their table, "Especially if any old pervert lost his ability to properly count,"
"Sounds fun! Count me in,." Romero chirpily exclaimed as sparkles seem to dazzle around his body from his radiant smile.
"Remember you all have five minutes to mark as many BINGOs you can possibly make." The intern explained again as she handed the paper over to the silver haired female.
"Thank you ma'am," Meifeng politely thanks the woman after she accepts the sheet and places it on the table.
"You can mark the free space off." Hiro was stating as she was picking up a pencil to mark "Free Space" with their table number, 41.
Her gray eyes peered over at the bluenette while she sternly reminded him, "I do know how to play Bingo…uhm has anyone been to a live concert in the past 6 months?"
"We had a mandatory publicity stunt with Ming Ming and her band and oh my gosh her music was not my cup of tea." Judy discloses with a shake of her head to show her disappointment before she initials "Has been to a live concert in the last six months".
"And I guess I could mark off "Has met a famous person"," The older woman was adding while scribbling her signature on the paper.
"Anyone likes to dance in public or introduced someone by the wrong name before?" She reads off two potential clues that could apply to their table.
The blonde coach of F Dynasty was flamboyantly posing while dramatically exclaiming, "Dance is an art form meant to be shown to the public not hidden away from the world!"
"I always introduce someone by the wrong name, it's not that I don't try to remember names but it tends to get a bit foggy at times." Master Tao honestly admitted with a deep sigh and scratched the side of his head.
"Lanying, you love to swim in your spare time. It's in your blood." Lin playfully jokes after she examines the BINGO sheet and notices "Swims in spare time".
"Is that so?" Boris interestedly quipped as he glanced over at the purple haired woman, who now has the paper in front of her face.
"It was sort of impossible not to learn to swim when you are always at sea or around water." Lanying was sincerely disclosing while penning her initials in the box.
"Akane and Meifeng, you two have lived in another country." She included after she studied the paper in front of her, which earned the sights of scarlet red and gray eyes.
"Beyblading counts as a live sporting event," Hiro physically points out to the silver haired woman before he grabs the paper to sign his name in the box
"Surprisingly, we've got our first BINGO." He was shockingly remarking before they were working to find more BINGOs.
