The interns curiously hovered over the bladers like a mother eagle, who defended her recently laid eggs from other vicious and hungry predators.
They observed some tables were able to effectively communicate what applied to them on the board and even saw multiple marks for BINGOs on the paper. On the other hand, there was this one particular table with bare minimum conversation that somehow managed to converse enough to participate in the game.
'Looks like it's almost time to see who our winner is…' The young woman at the podium inwardly considers once she catches a glimpse of the timer now in the 30 seconds or less phase.
A loud "beep" noise along with her voice that instructed them to "Place pencils down", which signaled to the bladers that they have officially ran out of time.
"Interns will you please collect the total while I introduce the next icebreaker to them?" She promptly orders as she watches her coworkers collect and count the number of BINGOs on the tables paper.
"Now wasn't that fun everyone?" The woman patiently waits until she hears some form of a response before she continues to speak, "So on to our final icebreaker…how many of you all have a cell phone or a mobile device? Let me see by a show of hands."
"Now we are going to play a game with emojis! You have to guess what the emoji or group of emojis represent." She disclosed the next game with a dramatic flair of her hands.
"We also made it easier for the older people with a clue above the image so that you can easily narrow down your choices." The woman was dutifully explaining while pointing to the projector screen clearly displaying some examples of the game.
"Unlike the BINGO game, we want to see who can think the fastest on their feet and turn it in first…begin!"

"What is an emoji?" Meifeng curiously poses to her tablemates as she peers at the example that was present on the projector screen.
"Apparently, it is something that the young ones use." Master Tao remarked while he crossed his arms in front of his chest with his eyes closed.
"I definitely don't use them." Lin honestly admits along with a chuckle at her disconnect with modern technology trends.
"Forget all that, did you just hear her call us old?" Romero was irritably snaping before placing his hand over his chest and proudly declaring, "I only age like fine wine."
"It really wasn't an insult just an observation." Akane colorlessly commented with a slight shrug of her shoulders.
"Which is sadly true by the way, I've never seen or use these before," Lanying discloses in agreement while she blankly stares at the projection screen.
"I only use technology to enhance my players' natural ability." Boris firmly stated his belief on the usage of technology.
Hiro leisurely peers at the sheet full of vivid yet weird expression as he honestly admits, "I've had some experience with them but not a whole lot."
"Let's just look at the first one. It says the clue is 'Movies and Films' with a basketball, soccer ball, a flame and what appears to be a red angry face."
[T24]
"Oh, this is right up my alley!" Emily excitingly quips once she receives the paper from the nearest intern on the floor.
"You're not the only that uses emojis, I tend to know a thing or two about them." Spencer promptly reminds her with a roll of his eyes since she did not pass the sheet around for everyone else to see.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah whatever, now let's see…" The orange haired teenager quickly picks up the pencil and begins to jot down what she thinks the answer is.
"It's a good thing we have her at our table." Wenling happily admits since she was fairly new to the idea of emojis.
"I don't know whose worse when it comes to technology, her or Kenny. Which by the way…I think he managed to slip through the ranks again," Rei teasingly jaws before he realizes that their mechanical manage to avoid yet another social gathering.
"Modern technology is scarce in our village," Miriam honestly admits as she casually rests her back against the chair with her eyes close.
"We can definitely relate." Rei and Lee simultaneously chimes in along with a nod forward of their heads, which slightly shakes their raven black mane.
"Unlike this city girl, who falsely claims that she's from the rural side of China?" Lee jokingly jabbed as he physically pointed his wrapped thumb at the brunette off to the side of him.
Wenling merely ignores his jab before she responds to a verbal signal from Emily, "What's the clue?"
"Candy. It's a baby face, a plant and a chocolate bar." The teenager disclosed both the clue and emojis that were used.
[T59]
"I never thought of an icebreaker game that can use emojis." Eddy was admitting in awe as he was peering over at the project screen displaying some examples of the game.
"The interns probably had all the free time in the world to come up with these games." Julia dramatically exclaimed with a wave of her hands off to the side.
"Well I think it's pretty cool." Miguel chimes in with a shrug of his shoulders at the young woman.
"These are some funny pictures." Mao was noting after her pink eyes were scanning over the funny shape faces on the paper.
Ian eventually questioned the boy, who sat on the far right of the table from him, "Did you manage to get all of them?"
"One of them has me completely stumped." Eddy honestly admits while he scratches the side of his head with his dominant hand.
"What's the clue and emojis on the paper?" Hiromi was curiously questioning with the hope that they would be able to help him out.
"The clue says Nature. The emoji are a pair of eyes, lighting bolt, a cloud and an umbrella with teardrops on it." He revealed the clue and described the images on the paper.
"Teardrops or is it raindrops?" Takao asks for clarification of the image.
"I got it..."
[T68]
"These people are seriously creative to come up with an emoji game!" Audrey shockingly yells completely unaware of just how loud her voice is.
The intern then hands the paper to the closest person to them, which was none other than the other half of the twin sibling duo F Dynasty, Raul.
"Show us the first one." Max cordially orders the red head twin once he receives the paper and offers them a "Thank you" in return.
"We're stuck on the one with a baseball and what looks like a boy's face." The red head revealed their sudden dilemma to his table mates.
"Did you get the other ones?" Kevin was inquisitively asking since he was barely able to see the paper since it is across the table.
"Yeah, those were pretty easy if you didn't think too hard about it." The dirty blonde commented as they figured out the answer to another question.
"Aw man, this one is really hard!" Malthilda chimes in agreement once she studies the ball and the face but no answer surfaces to her thoughts.
"Wait, I think I got…"
[T17]
"An emoji game?" Michael was quietly repeating to himself before one of the interns on the floor was handing him the paper for the game.
"Where did they even come up with this stuff?" Dunga curiously asked aloud while he lazily propped his elbow onto the surface of the table.
The blonde immediately starts to scribble in "Balls of Fire" underneath the basketball, soccer ball, a flame and an angry face.
"A baby face, a plant and a chocolate bar…I think that's a…Junior Mint." Michael was calmly broadcasting once pondering about the clue "Candy".
"For the baseball and boy's face is a ball boy," Archimedes unexpectedly pointed out as the blonde's pencil suddenly hovered over the clue "Sports".
"It's the Eye of the Storm for the pair of eyes, lighting bolt, cloud and the rain on the umbrella." Claude states in a manner of fact tone after he reads the clue "Nature" above it.
"Blackmail," Kai and Tala simultaneously announced once their eyes caught sight of a black square next to an envelope.
'We actually finished that pretty quickly!' The blonde realized in shock that they completed the sheet when he recalled that it had to be the first table to turn in the paper in order to win.
He then proceeds to shout and desperately attempt to wave down one of the interns, "Hey! We're finished!"
The lone female at the table carefully observes the interns' path before she accurately predicts when the next one would pass by their table.
"Excuse me, ma'am," Archimedes called out to the woman, who approached their table to announce, "We're done."
[GEN POV]
They soon heard the sound of someone's voice loudly announced, "We have a winner! It's table number…17! They turned in their paper first and correctly answered all of the questions."
"Congratulations Table 17! For those that were stuck on a couple of them, here are the answers." The young woman was speaking in the microphone while gesturing for their eyes to look at the projection screen.
"We would've never guessed any of those, except for black mail." Hiro honestly admits along with a chuckle at the answers to the clues.
"It was all for us to get to know the people at your table." Meifeng reminded him about the reason why they participated in the Icebreaker games.
"A freaking Junior Mint! Man, I use to love eating those when I was younger." Emily frustratingly grumbles at the answer "Junior Mint" under the baby's face, a plant and chocolate bar.
"You should've given me the paper, I would've easily gotten it right." Spencer boldly declared, which earned a, "Whatever" from the upset orange head teen.
"It was the Eye of the Storm, huh." Julia was reading off the answer under the eyes, lighting bolt, a cloud and an umbrella.
"Sorry, I couldn't sink the buzzer beater shot you guys." Eddy quickly offers an apology to the teens that were at his table.
"Don't be hard on yourself Eddy. It was for fun." Hiromi reassured the rather tall young man with a smile and nod of her head.
"A ball boy? It was a darn ball boy!" Max angrily shouts to himself before he shakes his head left and right in disbelief.
A scoff and then a "hm" emitted from the silver haired male, who in turn coyly opined, "Isnt that up your alley, Tate?"
"You didn't guess it either, Rick." The blonde was quickly refuting after cutting his eyes at the young man was sitting across the table.
"Alright then…I just received word that we've tallied up the number of BINGOs made during the game. And now I will announce the winners of the BINGO game…can I please get a drum roll please?" The woman at the podium speaks directly in the microphone.
The bladers proceed to mimic a drumroll with repeatedly taps of their hands against the table before she voices, "The winner is…Table 59!"
"Yo, that's not fair!" Audrey was abruptly asserting once hopping to her feet.
The dirty blonde teenager begins to gesture in the direction of Table 59 when she implies, "They have like all the super assertive people that like to do stuff. Plus, Table 17 is nothing but a tray full of ice cubes!"
"I can't believe you just called them a tray of ice cubes. I definitely have to steal that one to use against Kai." Max jokingly opined as he laughed at the girl's interpretation of the table's behaviors once she returned to her seat.
Rick loudly scoffs at the sudden outburst before he promptly challenges Audrey's theory, "Since you're so ultra-observant all of sudden, what about the other tables then?"
Her green eyes then glanced over in the direction of where she assumed Wenling was when she studied all of the bladers that were at her table.
"They look like more of the go with the flow type, you know like moving with the crowd because it's easier than resisting." She was ultimately guessing based solely off of her teammate's personality.
"If that's true, then what does that make our table?" Raul enquiringly wondered what the dirty blonde's interpretation of their table is.
"I didn't think that far ahead yet. Besides, it's kinda hard to judge yourself." Audrey was honestly remarking before glancing over at Ozuma and quickly asking, "Well…what do you think?"
"Confidently impulsive and unpredictable," He immediately rendered his verdict about the individual's common personality trait at the table.
The table seems to deeply ruminate over it a bit as the teenage girl to his right swiftly chimes in, "You make it sound like we're some badass…but I like it! Everyone?"
Everyone else nodded their head in agreement.
Mr. Suzuki politely thanks the Lead Intern for her time before he approaches the podium to broadcast, "Ladies and Gentleman…the food is ready."
