The energetic buzz from earlier seemed to die down once day one officially concluded with twists and turns. Yet, there were still whispers about one particular battle, which seems to utterly confuse fans even more…Takao lost a match.
Yuan's team members eventually reunite back in Arena A before they depart from the stands.
Concern was visibly present on Hiromi's face when the assistants was speedily funneling the bladers back inside of the Players' Room only for their debriefing before heading back to the hotel.
"Congratulations on completing one of three days of competition and welcome to China!" Mr. Dickerson warmly greets the room of teenagers upon his entrance into the room before he adds, "We won't hold you any longer than we have to but here are the current rankings:
Blitzkreig Boys 2-0-0
F Dynasty 1-1-0
Barthez Battalion 1-1-0
PPB Allstarz 1-1-0
White Tiger X 1-1-0
Bladebreakers 1-0-1
Yuan 1-0-1,"
"Oi, we're tied for third," Audrey eventually mentioned to her coaches and teammates after she finally spotted their team name at the bottom of the board.
"With the Bladebreakers," Wenling was pointing out the other team that they were currently tied with in third place while settling in a seat next in between Audrey and Hiromi.
At the same time, Hiromi was occasionally diverting her sights over at Takao, who was still wearing his bill directly in front of his face.
"Also, we will display the schedule for Day 2," The BBA President promptly announces before he aims a small black remote toward the projection. His thumb clicks the white right arrow to move on to the next slide.
The teams silently observe the bracket for tomorrow as some peer over in the direction of their next opponents.
"We are set to do battle with Barthez Battalion." Akane dully spoke once their team name visibly appeared on the screen right next to Barthez Battalion.
Lin physically folds her arms across her chest as she rationalizes, "From what I heard, they're a pretty solid team with a strong captain."
Meifeng's eyes frequently scan the crowd of individuals once she senses that ominous feeling ebbs away like the tide. Nevertheless, there was still a gloomy cloud that hung over those players, who lost their matches today.
She then released a sigh before her thoughts returned to focus only to hear that they are now dismissed for the day.
Meanwhile,
"Yo Rei," Max calls out to his dark-haired companion, "How bad do you think it is?"
Golden eyes cast over to the bluenette at the far end of the metallic bench. He was still slightly hunched forward with his hat turned to cover his face from others around him. He had yet to make a move or utter a word once he learned of his position in the new lineup.
"Not as bad as when Hiromi suddenly disappeared and left that letter." He was genuinely responding while adjusting his yellow sash around his waist after breaking eye contact from their former captain.
The blonde folds his arms and nods his head in agreement, "That…was absolutely terrible. He would go without eating, threw himself into training so recklessly, and barely spoke a word to anyone."
Eventually, a bob of brown bypasses them and positions themselves on the empty side of Takao.
"We'll talk later." Hiromi determinedly relayed to the sad teen once she gently touched his hand. She could not wait for a response since her team was headed back first to the hotel.
Once she separated from him, Kai suddenly appeared and simply commanded, "Let's go,"
[Blitzkrieg Boys]
Tala was running off a high at his victory and having that special person silently cheering him on from the stands. It was an indescribable feeling that he was sure none of his teammates would know or ever come to understand.
"You know…Takao lost his match today." Ian purposely tossed out once they piled inside of their limousine and drove toward their hotel. The redhead merely ignored the jab since the very same person that spoke had a similar outcome today during their battle.
Yet, he couldn't be too annoyed because he was offered the opportunity to show his skills off in front of Archimedes due to Ian's overly confident behavior in his beyblading skills.
He just quietly sunk his chin even further down his collar and simply relished his sudden stroke of fortune.

"I can't wait to hit the hay!" Audrey sleepily proclaimed once she stifled a yawn with one of her hands once they were dropped off at the hotel.
Wenling physically nods her head in agreement while Archimedes quietly traversed a few feet behind the girls.
Meifeng suddenly notices her pupil slightly hesitates to follow the team so she approaches, gently places a hand on her shoulder and simply nods her head forward.
The simple gesture brought a wide smile to her face as she broke off from the group and trekked over toward the hotel lobby.
[Mountainside]
Master Tao steadily guided the grey short-haired donkey toward the familiar grounds of their village when he curiously posed, "Anybody alive back there?"
"Everyone else is asleep," Lee dutifully responds once he appears on the side of his senpai when he notices the familiar rocky trail they were currently on.
"Well, it was a pretty exciting day," The older male deliberately mentions as he guides the donkey around a steep sharp corner.
"During your match, I thought about a quote from Confucius…A gentleman would be ashamed should deeds not match his words." He recites verbatim with a smirk on his face as he cuts his eyes toward the raven-haired teen.
A sigh audibly escapes his lips before he lightly scratches the back of his head as a slight tint of blush dust across his cheeks.
"Girls are…confusing," He openly admitted once he dropped his chin closer to his crossed arms only to hear his sensei amusingly chuckled at his innocent response.
The older male tightly clutches the leather brown reins as he gradually guides the donkey toward a lit village when he teasingly comments, "You have so much to learn young grasshopper."
[Hotel]
Obsidian eyes suddenly caught sight of a familiar redhead in the hotel's hallway when she simply mentioned, "Juice" to someone in their group. She then breaks away once she watches one of the coaches nod their heads and advises, "Be quick. It's almost curfew."
A verbal response of "okay" left her lips as the raven-haired girl speedily approaches the vending machine only to see a teen clad in an all-white uniform casually stands off to the side.
A pair of violet eyes quickly pick up sudden movement from their peripheral before he notices exactly who it was that presently stands in front of the machines. He was pushing off the wall and walking towards the girl, who was moving in front of the machine with sodas, juices, sports and energy drinks.
"I'm glad you were there to cheer me on." Tala bluntly spoke but it sounded a bit muffled due to the collar on his shirt.
"I wasn't there as a cheerleader. I wanted to check out our competition." Archimedes promptly clarify as her sights remain to hone in on the machine when she presses a specific letter then a specific number.
She was bending down, reaching for the bottle through the dark black plastic door while listening to her companion, "So you're playing hard to get?"
"Since you want to toot your own horn, I'll just keep my congratulatory gift," Archimedes boldly states once she purposely stops to stand at his side while she cuts her eyes at him.
Tala could only shake his head from his fail approach to his crush when he somberly utters, "Guess I just put my foot in my…" It was a quick and subtle movement that was met with the collar.
The redhead visibly blushed and inwardly cursed his choice of fashion sense when he overheard, "Too bad, good night,"

Audrey gently kicks open their hotel room door once she hears the click noise and holds it long enough for Wenling to enter their room before she closes it back.
"Where did the ice cube melt off to?" The dirty blonde teen was questioning after realizing that they were now down another teammate. The older of the two merely shrugs her shoulders since she did not know.
Audrey was rolling her eyes before grumbling something under her breath while the brunette was drawing closer to her friend.
"There, there, there, it'll be alright," Wenling genuinely attempts to cheer her friend up as she lightly pats her right hand over her shoulder with her eyes close and a smile on her face.
"I only got a pat on the head." The dirty blonde woefully wails once she dramatically throws herself into her, which earns an "Oh Audrey,"

Hiromi finally found the exact person she looked for and purposely placed herself directly next to Takao on the smoke-colored tufted bench-seat cushion. Silence naturally passes through them as they watch other bey-teams and visitors journey in and out of the massive hotel lobby.
"Come here often?" She teasingly joked since the bill of his cap was still in front of his face as he was slouched on the couch.
He did not verbally respond instead he physically shifted his position when he leisurely leaned to his left until his head currently laid across her thighs.
"I can't believe Hiro let his feelings get in the way of our battle today!" Takao dramatically proclaims after he grumbles at the result of today's event.
"He just up and changed the roster." The bluenette irritably reveals, which earns a look of confusion from the girl.
"That's strange." The brunette said more to herself since her boyfriend ranted about his feelings.
"He saw how that Chinese dude from early flirted with Meifeng," He was angrily expounding while randomly gesturing with hands to express his emotion.
"That's news to me." She openly admits since her focus at the time was directly on her coach and the sudden arrival of a man, who claims he is the son of the president of China.
"He's stubborn…just like I was…" Takao's voice suddenly mentioned about his past behavior before he trailed off with his thought.
"What changed?" Hiromi curiously asks with a look of interest on her face while he holds his cap a little ways above his face so she could hear him loud and clear.
"Our relationship," He heavily emphasizes the word our in his comment once he slightly peeks one eye outward and connects with her Ruby red eyes.
Takao aimlessly twists his cap within his fingers while he abruptly wishes, "Maybe a beyblade will knock some sense into him."
"I doubt it," She jokingly chuckles before she wittingly counters with, "He has a thick skull and stubborn attitude like you, two peas in a pod,"
Hiromi patiently awaits for a sarcastic retort of how the two were not the same instead he says, "Yep, you're right."
"Wake me up before curfew, Romi, please," Takao abruptly mentions once he recovers his face with his favorite cap.
"Aye," She was agreeing before hearing light snoring noises from the boy occupying her lap.
[Yuan's Coaches]
The four older women eventually made their way back to the confinements of their hotel room once they dropped two of the four girls off at their room.
A comfortable silence easily develops among them due to weariness or exhaustion from today's event until Lin breaks the silence with one question, "Who was that dude?"
Lin was gently brushing her hair into smaller braids before answering the question, "His dad is the President of China."
"Well...he has the hots for Mei," She teasingly jokes about the situation from earlier while she dresses in her nighttime pajamas only to not hear a response from her close friend.
Akane, who was quietly observing the grey-haired woman, was colorlessly suggesting, "Maybe he wants her to join his harem of women,"
The goldenrod with green tips immediately passes it off as a 'no' while Lanying seriously ponders about it for a while she admits, "Maybe...Akane's right."
This admittance seemed to displease the Amazonian, who simply wishes them a "Good night," before the others soon follow suit.
