Azur Lane: Zero's Factor

War. A stage where wills, ideals and hopes collide.
In Europe, 1945, when the Wehrmacht finally surrendered through the Persistence of Americans, the Bravery of the British Empire and the Blood of the Soviet Union.

The same year in the Pacific theater, where the resilience and bravery of the American pilots, the bold actions of the marines and the might of the Allied navy, when the Empire of the Rising Sun finally surrendered.

Thrilling and how exciting war is, millions of lives were lost. It was a tragedy, a grim reminder of what war can be. There could be heroes, there could be villains, great leaders- but all it takes is a single pull of a trigger and a life would be lost, again.

Come the 21st century, where politics and culture are raging across the planet. Though because of Global Warming, some of the icecaps melted causing the sea level to rise a bit. Once again, the maritime is booming. Fleets of gigantic ships, full of goods can be seen in most coasts.

The world became peaceful... atleast they thought. Soon, various reports of ships that went missing were reported. One ship, two, five, dozens. It escalated quickly. The nations banded together to find what is causing this horrible event to occur. But they only found wreckages.

Piles of floating goods, debrees and even limbs. The sea was full of blood and oil. The scent of burning wood and flesh was nauseating. This is obviously not a pirate's doing.

They kept investigating but none of the effort. They started to assign warships as escorts in the hopes of determining what in tarnation just happened. It was then, the fleet was attacked.

There, the humanity's first encounter of what soon they'll be called Sirens.

The humans were decimated. Their modern warships they are proud of was blasted away by lasers. Powerful technology far above theirs, a technologically advanced extraterestrials. They managed to pass the information that shocked the whole population.

Girls with yellow irises, floating above the seas and strange mechanical protrusions behind their bodies. Their eerie laughter made the population panic.

From there on, humanity was on the losing side. Coastal cities were burned to the ground, the trade routes cut-off. The maritime trade was completely compromised.

There and then, as if fate was joking, the discovery of strange cubes were discovered. The humanity found a small light within darkness.

Through various machinations of fate, the Kansen was born. Girls, stronger and tougher than humans, have emotions and quirks as normal girls and mechanical protrusions on their backs.

More and more Kansen was born and later, the defensive coalition of Kansen, Azur Lane, was initiated.

From then on, humanity fought back with the Kansen, slowly reclaiming the seas.

For 5 years, they fought to the stalemate. Shells, bullets, lasers and bombs are screaming every battle.

But this stalemate will be broken. As another factor will emerge as if fate is pranking them.
