Letty's POV
"So, I rang the real estate agent this morning." Dom started as he stepped into the main part of the garage causing all of us to stop and pay him attention.
"And?" Vince asked.
"I have a meeting with her in an hour to go over documents and sign some forms, but it looks promising. She thinks she'll be able to sell it, won't be for much because of its lack of profits but she has someone who might be interested."
"It's better than nothing." I offered, and Dom nodded in agreement.
"Yeah. Anyway, V I'm leaving you in charge. The skyline needs to be done before close of business today. Owner's picking her up first thing in the morning." Dom spoke as he started listing of things for us to prioritize.
"Got it. I'm working on her now." Jesse spoke making Dom nod.
"I'm nearly finished with the Honda, then I'll start on the supra." I spoke making him nod again.
"Go, we got this brother." Vince spoke to Dom.
"Thanks. See you at home." Dom sighed before he walked back into the office to grab his keys.
The garage went back to silence until we heard Dom's car leave completely.
"It's a shame about the shop." Leon said softly from the work station next to me.
"Yeah it is. It's bleeding money though." I sighed as I finished the last wrench turn before I put my tool down and grabbed a cloth to wipe my hands.
"Yeah, something had to be done sooner rather than later." Vince agreed quietly.
"Still sucks for Dom and Mia." Jesse said softly.
"I don't think Mia's that worried; it was Dom that was holding onto it." I offered.
"Yeah, we've been at him for weeks to make a decision. Wasn't easy for him. Anyway, we need to hussle." Vince spoke and we took the hint and got back to work.
"Man what a day." I groaned as I rolled my shoulders as we walked into the house that night. We'd had to put in some over time to finish off the last two cars but thankfully they were now done.
"Thank god for the races tonight." Leon cheered as he slung an arm over my shoulder.
"Amen." I smiled up at him.
"No boys tonight yeah?" Vince snapped at me as he walked past, and I glared at him.
"What the hell is that meant to mean?" I asked annoyed, shrugging off Leon as I stormed after him into the kitchen.
"The arsehole was all over you last race." He scoffed as he pulled a beer from the fridge and sat at the table next to a quiet Dom.
"How exactly was he all over me? We were talking, until you lot ran him off." I muttered annoyed with his attitude.
"He was loser, we did you a favour. You should be thanking us." Vince scoffed as he popped the top of the beer and started drinking.
"Whatever." I shrugged and took the plate of food Mia offered to me.
"Huh, I was expecting more of a fight." Vince said before shrugging turning back to his dinner.
"You never learn, you're saying grace." Mia huffed at Vince as he paused with a mouth full of pasta.
"Damn." He mumbled.
"Mia don't you have a study group tonight?" I asked suddenly just noticing the time.
"Oh shit." She swore as she looked at the time.
"Mia." Dom sighed as he looked over at her as she quickly finished what she was doing.
"I'm sorry I forgot, I was too busy cooking you guys dinner." She huffed.
"We could have made do, now get going before you're really late." Dom said as he pointed to the door.
"Right. Bye Let! Don't let them bully you tonight!" Mia called as she ran from the room, her footsteps pounding up the stairs as she went to get ready for her date.
"Ouch that hurts, we're no bullies." Leon pouted at me.
"Oh no? What would you call yourselves then?" I tossed back at him crossing my arms waiting for his answer.
"We are your loyal guard dogs, protecting your virtue." Leon half joked making everyone burst into laughter.
"Right…. On a more serious note how did the meeting go?" I asked turning the attention off me and back to Dom.
"Good, it's officially up for sale tomorrow."
"That was quick.
"Yeah. Fingers crossed it sells."
"I'm sure it will all go fine." I said and he nodded with a small smile.
"Yeah party!" Vince yelled as he came back from his last race, slapping his winnings in Dom's hand.
"You coming girl?" Leon asked me as everyone else waited for my answer.
"Nah I think I'll give it a miss."
"Really?" Dom asked in a tone I couldn't quite place so I shrugged.
"Not the same without Mia." Dom looked me over carefully with a look I couldn't place. Tightness settled in my chest and for a second, I was worried he was seeing through my lie. Thankfully, it was short lived.
"Fair enough. You heading home then?" Dom asked and I nodded.
"Yeah, but you guys enjoy. Try not to make so much noise when you lot come home either." I sassed making them laugh.
"Yes mum." Vince teased.
"Alright, I'm out then. Night." I spoke as I picked myself off Dom's car.
"Night girl."
"Night baby girl."
"Night…"
"Night Let." I smiled at the four replies and headed back to my car. For yet another day this week I had the house to myself, and I was going to use it to my advantage.
Jumping in my car I headed out, checking behind me all the way home to make sure no one was tailing me before I started to find Leo's number. To my surprise the phone lit up with his name before I could hit dial.
"Hey." He greeted me, and I smirked.
"Hey yourself."
"You wanna meet?" He asked me hopefully.
"Only if you're up for it." I teased.
"Letty I'm always up for you. When and where?" He chuckled.
"My house in ten."
"See you soon." Leo offered before the line went dead.
Pulling up to the house I was surprised to see he'd beat me there. I got out of the car, locking it up behind me for the night before I turned to him.
"I may have already been here when I called you." Leo grinned sheepishly as he met me halfway to the door.
"Oh really?" I smirked.
"Yeah, its been a long week. I need to work off some stress."
"Hmm… well why don't we go upstairs and see if we can work some of our stress off then?" I asked as we paused at the door, grinning he pulled my hips to his so I could feel exactly what that did to him.
"I like the way you think." He whispered before his lips met mine in a fierce kiss.
Dom's POV
"You good?" Vince asked me seriously, appearing out of nowhere after I blew off another girl for the third time tonight.
"I'm good." I muttered back, but I knew Vince and he wasn't going to leave it at that.
"I don't buy it brother, not even for a minute."
"I'm not really in the mood to be honest. The whole selling the shop thing has taken over my head." He nodded sadly while I took a long pull from my beer.
"You're doing the right thing."
"I know, maybe that's what makes it harder." I replied quietly.
"Maybe you should call it night, head home and get some rest." I frowned and shook my head.
"I think I'll pass." I regretted my words the second the last word left my tongue. Now he was going to get nosey.
"Why?" He asked confused. I gave him a sideways look struggling to come up with something.
"We're not the only ones with a healthy sex life Vince, we were idiots to think otherwise." I bit out, annoyed with myself for slipping up. I watched him carefully as he made a face, realisation dawning on him quickly.
"Letty?" He asked scowling.
"V you can give her all the shit you want but it's not going to stop her, it's only going to make her sneak around. Letty's old enough to make her own choices, whether we approve or not." I sighed as I fiddled with the label on my corona bottle.
"Man…. Are you seriously telling me she's at home having…fuck I can't even say it." He groaned and I chuckled darkly at his question.
"Probably."
"And you're just good with that?"
"No." I snapped, my voice hard and edgy making me cringe internally.
"So do something." He snapped back.
"What do you want me to do V? Ground her? Give her a curfew? Forbid her? She's eighteen, not ten. It was going to happen one day." I snapped, leaving no room for argument. He grimaced as he thought it through.
"Yeah but… Its Letty." He said as if that explained everything.
"Yeah it is, so we need to trust her." I said my voice faltering slightly towards the end but thankful Vince was too busy stewing in anger or annoyance to notice.
"Her I trust, them never." He grunted a final time.
"Yeah." We fell into a heavy silence as Vince came to terms with what he just learnt.
"So does that mean Mia's not really at a study session tonight?" I frowned, glaring at the bottle in my hands.
"Probably not." I muttered doing my best to not think about my sister and some fuck wit together.
"And let me guess, not doing anything about that either right?" He huffed.
"Within reason, Mia's my baby sister and she's only seventeen. I can be harder on her to an extent."
"Eh." He grunted at me as he leant heavily against the wall beside me.
"How did you find out about Letty anyway?" He asked me suddenly. I tried, so fucking hard, to keep a straight face but images of that night hit me hard and fast. That fucking sound that had been haunting me for months had reared its ugly head again, making me clear my throat nervously and gave away my unease.
"Seriously?" Vince asked me wide eyed as he guessed it instantly.
"She doesn't know so don't say anything V, I mean it." I warned hard as I stared him down, letting him know I meant business and this was not up for negotiation.
"Alright fine." He spoke hurriedly agreeing to my demand.
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. The tightness in my chest easing as I fought my inner self for control once more.
"But seriously I gotta know," Vince started and the tightness came back tenfold.
"How the fuck did you walk away and not go bat shit crazy over seeing that? I'd have murdered them both." Vince asked me seriously.
"I don't know… shock I guess." I shrugged it off all while trying to not let my thoughts wander back to that night. Back to that sound. Back to her.
Clearing my throat nervously again I cast a sideways glance at Vince before I spoke again.
"I'm gunna go for a drive. I'm done here but I'll take the long way home. I mean it though, not a word. Not even to Jess and Leon. Leave Let alone."
"Yeah, yeah I got it. I ain't happy but I won't say anything." I nodded and left him standing there as I headed for the door.
The "long" way home was only an extra 10 minutes, but I figured by the time I got back Letty's company should be gone. Well, I hoped.
I sighed heavily as I slumped back into the driver's seat. Despite what I said to Vince the thought of Letty and some guy at home stirred something in me I didn't let myself think about often. Especially when I was alone.
No matter how hard I tried the image of Letty two months prior was still freshly embedded into my brain. It had taken all my will power that night to close the door and walk away from what I'd seen. Had I been pissed? Fuck yes. For a split second I had wanted to kill them both, but the fact it stirred something in me shocked me to the core. Now it was all I could think about.
Two months before
I rolled my eyes as I walked into the house seeing the TV still on and a beer bottle on the coffee table. I'd lost count of how many times I'd told Leon to stop doing that in the last week alone.
Switching off the TV and chucking said bottle in the bin by the back door I made my way up to my room, only pausing on the landing when I heard a noise.
'What the fuck.' I thought to myself, straining to see if I could hear the noise again. Sure enough fifteen seconds or so later I heard it again, coming from Letty's room.
'I didn't notice her car downstairs, is she even home?' I thought to myself as I headed for her door.
Not thinking I turned the handle and pushed. Instant fury took over and my grip on the handle became deadly. The room was dark but lit just enough from the street lamp shining through the window. Two bodies were intertwined on the bed, one male and one female from the silhouettes.
I took a step forward, every intention of throwing the door open properly and confronting the two teens when I heard it again. I heard her. I froze, like a deer caught in headlights and a tingle went down my spine like a bucket of ice had been thrown over me.
"Harder." The command had come from Letty, breathy and needy in a way I had never heard before. Ever. I was a seasoned pro. I'd heard it all… or so I'd thought.
"Fuck baby." The male groaned loudly as Letty rode him hard.
My mouth went dry and my dick stood straight to attention as I watched Letty move her body in ways I had never dreamed of seeing.
Letty's own moans filled the small space as she rocked and moved above the male she was with. I let my jaw drop a little as I zoned in on her breasts bouncing lightly with every move she made. Male hands gripped her hips and pulled her down hard, making her let out a loud moan as she threw her head back and shook as she got sent over the edge.
Holy shit.
Reeling I stumbled backwards, somehow not disturbing the two in the slightest as I quickly shut the door behind me, slumping against the wall opposite her door just staring at it.
"Fuck." I muttered as I dropped my face in my hands.
"Fuck." I groaned, shaking my head back and forth trying to get rid of the image, the thoughts and feelings. The whole lot of it.
"Its Letty, you can't keep thinking about her like this." I snapped quietly to myself and my traitorous body. Angrily starting the car, I tried hard to concentrate only on the drive home.
I failed miserably.
