honeybunch123- You most definately do not need to worry about Gryffindor. I hope you will agree with where I place her, though...

"I'm Gale," she said roughly, sticking her hand out for the boy to shake. "Gale Zymin. First year."

He shook her hand gently. "Peter Petigrew. First as well."

"Do you not know anyone?"

Peter shook his head.

"Well, you know me."

She plopped down in the seat across from him and crossed her legs. "We're going to be friends, you and I. I definately need a sidekick."

Peter's eyes glowed. "Sidekick? I've always wanted to be a sidekick!"

The two sat in silence for a while, before three boys clambered in. One of them, tall and handsome, stared directly into Gale's eyes. He was mischievous. She could tell by the glint in his eyes.

"Sirius Black," the handsome boy bowed, bringing laughter from the shorter, plain boy on his right.

"James Potter. Charmed," he said, bowing as well.

Gale and Peter stared at the tall, sickly thin boy to the left of Sirius, waiting for him to introduce himself. James followed their eyes.

"We don't know his name, either. He won't talk."

"Well," Gale replied, fixing her eyes on James and Sirius. "I am Gale Zymin. And this is my sidekick, Peter Petigrew."

"Pleased to meet you," Sirius smiled, taking a Cauldron Cake out of James' pocket.

After the small talk of family and blood status for a while, James and Sirius began their own wild conversation that Gale could make no sense of. Slowly, Peter drifted into sleep.

Gale directed her attention in the way of the mysterious boy in the corner.

"You're name is Remus Lupin," she whispered, so quiet that it was a wonder that he heard. "And you're a-"

"How do you know?" Remus whispered back, panicking to stop her from revealing his secret. "There is no one here who could know that!"

"We both have things to hide, Remus. I think we could be close pals."

"What are you? How do you know this?"

"I know that you already have the answer to that question in your head. You're aunt is the same."

"A legilimens, aren't you? Who else knows?"

Gale smirked. "Other than you? No one. Except for James and Sirius, who are eavesdropping."

"That's brilliant!" Sirius exclaimed. "Absolutely brilliant!"

James' face illuminated with joy. "Imagine how much fun we could have messing with other students! We'll have the secrets of the school figured out by the time we finish the year!"

Sirius held up his glass pumpkin juice. "A toast! To our friend, Gale, and her fantastic powers!"

I hope you all enjoyed this chapter! Maybe you picked up a bit on the foreshadowing to the legilimens bit. Either way, Gale's secret is exposed!
