Hey again, it's been ages right?
Disclaimer: No I do not own the Mortal Instruments series
"Hey guys wait, I think that's Jace's girl"
Clary's steps flattered momentarily at the mention of Jace and she cursed herself for it, she begged her legs to continue walking but they refused to listen, they just froze in place. Her body shuddered for a different reason now. Fear dredded over her, she looked up at the empty street and realized there would be no one to hear her if she screamed for help, she could run but with these high heeled ankle boots she'd trip and hurt herself before she gets far.
Her mind raced with questions, Who the hell was that? Does he know her? He seems to know her. Does she need to fight? Can she take them on if she did?
What does it matter? Walk away. Why did she have to run out without her phone?
But she wouldn't, couldn't, she felt like she was watching one of those scary movies where you know something bad will happen to the character and you keep screaming at the screen, at the character to move, but they don't, they just stand in place. That's what it felt like, but this time she was staring herself down and begging herself to run but it was no use.
She turned around to look the guys with a glare and her eyes caught the guy who said Jace's girl immediately.
Azazel.
He had three of his friends there, she had seen two of them before, back in the Lightwoods' house the day of the party but there was another one with them now.
"Clary, right?" Azazel teased.
"That's Jace's girl? Damn" one guy said, he looked Clary up and down and whistled lowly under his breath and Clary felt a need to cover up, she felt exposed under his watchful gaze, like she could read in his eyes what he was thinking and she did not like it.
A cold numbing feeling staggered in her spine as they got closer to her, punch him Clary, punch him. She tried to will herself to do or say something but nothing came out. She felt overwhelmed all of a sudden.
"Hey doll, do you really think Jace would mind if I took a ride?" Azazel said as he got closer to Clary, almost at touching distance now, he reached to brush a hair out of her face, letting his fingers touch her cheek and she felt a disgusted shiver as he said "I promise I'll pay you double what he's-"
When Azazel put her hair behind her ear, it was like Clary was shocked back to life, a shock of disgust and she took the hand that he touched her hair with in her own, letting go of Maia's present and letting it fall to the ground, interrupting him and quickly twisted it around behind his back, she heard him gasp in pain but she ignored it, all her training kicking in at once. She sent a high kick, swift and precise right into the other guy's guts, sending him flying back against another one.
She looked back at Azazel and kneed the back of his legs, sending him to his knees and she kicked his back, she let go of his arm when he slumped down and it started feeling like she was keeping him up instead of holding him down.
He dropped, his face in the ground and Clary turned to the last guy who remained staring at her in shock, she walked towards him, grabbing a hold of his shoulders as she sent her knee up to hit him where the sun didn't shine.
"You fucking bitch" Clary heard Azazel talk from behind her as she let go of his friend, who fell to his knees, gripping his junk, she turned back to him and kicked her heel into his side, noticing from the corner of her eyes that his friends all started stepping back and away, they didn't try touching her again or pulling her back from their friend or even talking her out of hurting him. Good, at least they have a few braincells.
Today was not the day to mess with her.
Even though that was a little more that Azazel deserved, she was too angry and got caught up in her own rage that she got lost in the fight, Luke's teachings were not going to waste apparently.
She was too caught up to notice though when two headlights flashed at her, the sound of screeching brakes on the ground snapped her out of the trance she was in, she looked at the source and saw none other than Jace, step out of the car, slamming the door behind him.
Clary saw Jace's angry expression, no not angry, outraged and livid, she had never seen Jace like this before, he glanced at her once, seeing her expression as she stood over Azazel before diving towards him, picking him up from the ground and slamming him against the hood of his car.
"What did you do to her?" Jace yelled, Clary had never seen Jace lose control like this before.
"Nothing" Azazel said defensive.
Jace punched Azazel then, right at the jaw and his hand pulled back in the air before landing another punch at his nose, Clary heard the sound in her head echo, it brought back memories, too many memories, it made her freeze in her place. Before, she had been pumped up on adrenaline, but now she was completely captive to her own dark thoughts.
The sound of punch after punch sounding in her head, all relating back to a dark memory, she shook herself out of the shock and forced herself to focus, she saw Jace, he was getting lost in the fight, sending punch after punch right into Azael's face as he held him down against his car. She had to stop this before Jace kills him or something, she ran up to Jace and took a hold of his fist mid air, stopping his continuous attack on Azazel. He looked back at her, shocked and a bit confused "What?"
"It's enough, I think" she said, he looked back at Azazel, his face bloody and red, his friends stood to the side, watching intently. Clary held Jace hand, slowly opening his fist, "If you keep doing that, you'll bloody your baby up" she joked but he didn't laugh.
He stared at her for the longest moment with a deep concentrated expressin before finally he let go of Azazel and let him fall to the ground and he said, in all seriousness, "We wouldn't want that".
Clary nodded, a small smile on her face as she asked "Can we go now?"
Jace nodded looking back at Azazel, still on the ground, unmoving, he looked at his friends and said simply, "Help him, and make sure he knows that if he ever looks at her the wrong way again, he'll regret it... That goes for all of you, too".
Jace heard no objection as Clary got her present off the ground and he didn't wait for a response, taking Clary's hand in his and dragging her to the passenger side of his car, she got in easily when he opened the door for her and he got into his own seat. The car reversed quickly and Jace changed his direction and sped out.
For the longest time, they both said nothing, the sound of Jace's speeding car filling the atmosphere with an intensity, so Clary felt it very noticeable when the radio switched songs and started playing some happy sappy pop song. She would have laughed but decided against it as her hand reached out to turn it off but Jace stopped her hand, gripping it in his own as he said simply "Don't".
So Clary let the happy music fill the car as she retrieved her hand back to her side, and quietly waited for him to say something. "What was that?" Jace finally asked after a century of silence.
Clary looked at him intently now, his knuckles turned white as hr gripped the wheel with all his might, his jaw set in an angry clench, his eyes narrowed and focused on the road and she hadn't missed the fact that he skipped the turn to the Lightwoods' house and was making the road longer.
"What was what?" Clary asked innocently.
"Don't play dumb" Jace said, "The fighting thing, where did you learn that?"
"Uuuhmm self defense classes" Clary answered instantly. Well that was true actually, she just didn't mention she was trained by an FBI agent that's all.
Jace hit the brakes suddenly, making the car stop right in the middle of the road, Clary almost went flying through the glass but she put her hands up and gripped the dash board, keeping herself up. When the car stopped fully, he twisted around, giving her his full attention as he narrowed eyes at her, "I know that is not all of it, Clary".
Uh-oh Clary thought worriedly, he couldn't have known right? It was impossible, "What do you mean?" she asked, feigning confusion.
"I know that's not all of it, Clary, that was a little more than self defense, you took on four guys at once" Jace argued.
"It sounds so impressive when you say it like that" Clary joked.
"You put Azazel in the ground"
"And you blodied him up" Clary shot back defensive.
"I hit the nose, always hit the nose first, if you break it, the fight is pretty much yours" Jace dismissed her arguement, "You were fighting him like an expert. What is going on, Clary?"
"There is nothing going on, Jace. I just know a little self defense, that's all" Clary argued.
"I know when you are lying Clary" Jace's voice rose a little and Clary crossed her arms.
"Stop acting like you have a degree on everything Clary, you don't know me Jace" Clary yelled out annoyed. Why was everyone picking fights with her?
"Goddammit, Clary" Jace yelled out as his fist connected with the dash board and she flinched back, "Why were you even out here? I told you I'd pick you up from home".
"So it's my fault that they-"
"I did not say that Clary-"
"Don't interrupt me when I'm-"
"-don't put words in my mouth-"
"-and all you do is accuse me of lying-"
"-and you just keep hiding things like-"
"-you get angry beyond reason-"
"-you shut me out and think I am supposed to be okay with-"
"-force yourself into every detail and-"
"And ugh you drive me crazy" they both had said that at the same time as they stared daggers at one another, Clary with her arms crossed over her chest and her back straight while Jace leaned forward a hand on the dash board, the other behind her chair, gripping it tightly, an intense stare down passed between them for what seemed like forever.
Clary narrowed her eyes, trying to not think about how much this heat between them was edging her to kiss him. No, she was angry, beyond angry.
"Urg" Jace growled out annoyed finally, his palm covered his face as he took deep breaths, Clary, upon seeing Jace's expression calming down, let herself calm down too as she took deep breaths with him. She realizes that anger can get the better of her sometimes when Jace said, "Just.. tell me the truth", he lowered his hand, staring her down, this time not with anger but with concern, "Are you in trouble?"
"What?" Clary wondered out loud. There was no way he could know, or guess something like that, could he? But he only looked at her with a serious expression, worry and anxiousness crossed in her features and he must have caught it cause his eyes grew wide, "No" she rushed out suddenly.
"Clary"
"Jace" Clary rushed to prove him wrong, "No, look... I just.."
"Clary if someone is hurting you" Jace started but she shook her head, she had to admit to herself she was curious what he would have said. Suppose she admitted she was in trouble, what would he say? Would he care? If he knew all the damage in her, would he stay long enough to finish that sentence?
"No" she assured quickly.
"Is it that Luke guy? Is he hurting you?" Jace asked, she was dumbfounded by his concern and the tone he used.
"Luke? No way" Clary said, he must have seen it in her features, her honesty, because he asked "Then what?"
"Jace I-" Clary stopped for a moment. What could she say? She doubted he would believe any lie she could come up with and if she lied to him again, who knows what he might do. Clary was touched by his concern for her, the worry that someone was hurting her but could she tell him the truth? She looked him over, she hated lying to him, especially when he looked at her like that. But what could she do?
She lowered her gaze, away from him as she said in a clipped tone, "I just took a few defense classes, I think everyone should take at least one. I am not in trouble".
Clary didn't need to look at him to know his expression fell, she knew he would be disappointed in her, and then angry again, he knew she was lying, he had to. She wondered what was the point? If he already knew she was lying, what was the point of keeping up the facade?
Think of what happened to Simon, she tried to reason with herself, to validate her decision.
The car started again and this time, the deafening silence stretched and neither one of them broke it, they had reached the Lightwoods' house with no words said. Clary was very aware Jace was avoiding looking at her when he parked the car and stepped out, slamming the door behind his with a shut, not waiting for her to get out as well.
She walked in after him, she had just made it to the door when he opened it and immediately jumped back when she heard a big scream of "SURPRISE".
"For me? You shouldn't have" Clary joked as she closed the door behind her and placed Maia's present on the big table with all the others.
"Oh it's just you two" Isabelle said disappointed.
"Nice to see you too" Clary mumbled sarcastically, giving one last look at Jace who walked into the house through the mass of people, disappearing in the crowd, not sparing her another glance, Clary was suddenly aware the whole school was there probably, "Uumm Iz, I know I'm still the new girl and everything but who are these people? Do you know all of them?"
"No" Isabelle said with a shrug, "But there is beer so people are genuinely happy to be here and wish Maia a happy birthday".
"Oh" Clary said with realization.
They heard the sound of a car and Isabelle jumped up, "She's here, everyone hide".
Everyone scrambled on their feet, running left and right, turning off the lights and hiding, the door opened and they all jumped up and shouted "SURPRISE".
"Oh by the angel" they heard Alec shout and he stumbled on his feet, the box in his hand almost slipping to the floor but Magnus who was next to him, with quick reflexes, held his arms out and took the box from his boyfriend before it tipped over and fell to the ground.
"Oh damn it" Isabelle grumbled annoyed as she stomped her foot down.
"Yeah, what the hell?" Alec said as he glared at her, "I almost dropped the cake".
"No worries darling, I got this" Magnus said as he took the box fully into his hands and made his way to the kitchen while Alec closed the door behind him. "You scared the crap out of me".
"Don't be such a little girl" Clary teased intentionally but his glare silenced her.
"Wait, I hear another car, someone's coming, everyone HIDE" Isabelle yelled now and again everyone scrambled and scattered, Clary ducked behind Alec, who hid behind a table, someone turned off the lights and a sudden silence echoed around.
The sound of the door opening brought them all up to their full lengths as they shouted in unison "SURPRISE".
"Oh for the love of the Angel" Isabelle cursed as she saw Sebastian and Aline walk in, "Sebastian you damn bastard".
"What did I do?" Sebastian asked confused as he walked closer to her.
"Why are you so late?" Isabelle asked annoyed.
"It's not my fault" Sebastian argued, gesturing at Aline with a nod of his head, "It's hers".
"My fault?" Aline shouted as she stomped over to them, "You can't seriously blame me-"
"You take forever to get ready"
"Well you held up the bathroom for an hour doing your damn hair"
"You have your own bathroom, you didn't have to wait for me"
"I hate when they do that" Alec suddenly jumped in agreeing with Sebastian, "Is does that too, like what the hell? We have four showers, why do you need to use the one I am using right now?"
"You can't seriously be serious right now" Isabelle argued.
"Uuumm guys" Clary tried to butt in.
"You girls are always-"
"I dare you to finish that damn sentence, Verlac" Aline cut him off with a glare.
"Yeah I'd love to hear that one" Isabelle said as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Uuumm people?" Clary tried again.
"What's going on?" they all looked to the side at the sudden sound and froze as they saw Maia and Jordan at the door looking confused.
"SURPRISE" Isabelle shouted suddenly as she saw them.
"Oh forget it" Alec growled.
"You're surprised, weren't you surprised? Of course you were" Isabelle gushed as she hugged Maia, "Happy birthday, we could never forget it was your birthday, this has all been a ruse".
"No" Maia gasped in fake shock as she looked at Isabelle, "Really?"
"Yes" Isabelle said with a smile, not noticing Maia's sarcasm.
Maia chuckled rolling her eyes before she cleared her throat, "Guys I'd like you to meet Jordan" she said happily, "Jordan, this is Isabelle, her brother Alec, Aline, her cousin Sebastian and Clary".
"Clary's not related to anyone but she's just like a puppy, just follows us around wherever we go so we keep her" Sebastian teased and Clary elbowed him in the stomach.
"Hey" Clary protested as Sebastian shielded his side.
"Hey I thought I told you to behave" Maia joked.
"What are you talking about? We are perfectly behaved" Sebastian said as he shook Jordan's hand and Alec did the same.
Isabelle grinned wildly and when Jordan came to shake her hand, she brushed past it and hugged him, "Welcome to the family" she teased and Maia instantly facepalmed.
"Ten bucks says he runs" Sebastian whispered to Clary and Alec with a chuckle.
"Double that" Alec whispered back, "He'll run before midnight".
"You guys are on" Clary said instantly as she took hold of Isabelle's arms and pulled her off the poor kid, "Sorry about her, she's just... slightly buzzed".
"That's okay" Jordan said with a chuckle, "It's nice to meet you all".
Clary sent Sebastian a look, as she pulled her hand out for his money, he narrowed his eyes at her as he whispered "The night is still young".
"Nice to meet you too" Aline said in a low tone, not seeming to mean it at all before she walked away, Maia looked after her friend in shock and a little hurt but she brushed it off and decided not to dwell on it any further.
"Happy birthday, Maia" Sebastian said as he hugged the girl, Alec was next and then Clary wrapped Maia in a hug as well.
"Thanks, you guys" Maia gushed happily, "Now what has a girl got to do to get a drink around here?"
"I'll get you one" Jordan said.
"I'll come with you" Sebastian said suddenly, Clary narrowed her eyes at the suspicious look in his eyes.
"Me too" Alec announced.
Maia suddenly realized what the two were up to, they'll try to scare him away, "Wait a-"
Isabelle put a hand against Maia's mouth, cutting her off as she said, "Get me one too".
Clary, who had realized their plans too, edged to protest, if only to win the bet, when Isabelle put her other hand against her mouth, now successfully shuting both girls up as she said, "Make that too".
Sebastian nodded as he and Alec dragged Jordan away from the girls and Maia pushed Is away from her, "Why did you do that? They'll tear him up".
"Don't be dramatic, they'll just try to get a feel of him... oh bad word choice, I mean they're just trying to see how he performs under pressure... oh shoot not like that either, uumm they're just looking out for you? Yes, that's exactly it" Isabelle said, fumbling over her words and Clary held back a chuckle.
"I'm going to miss him" Maia said defeatedly with a heavy dramatic sigh, Clary chuckled looking away as the music started playing and Isabelle said "Let's dance".
"Now, Joe was it?" Alec asked, looking down at Maia's boyfriend as soon as they were out of the girls' earshot.
"Jor-"
"Wonderful" Sebastian interrupted, "We're gonna play a game now. We're gonna say something and you're gonna say the first word that pops into your head, okay?"
"Puppies?" Sebastian asked.
"Adorable" Jordan answered.
"Great, now faster, the knicks?" Alec asked.
"They rule" Jordan answered.
"Yeah they rule" Sebastian agreed, "Cheating?"
"Bad?" Jordan answered in a questioning tone, confused by the whole ordeal.
"Are you asking me or telling me?" Sebastian asked as he crossed his arms over his chest.
"Telling you?" Jordan answered in the same tone but upon seeing the look on their faces repeated strongly "Telling you".
"Hurting Maia" Alec tried.
"I would never" Jordan answered immediately. Alec and Sebastian exchanged looks before Alec nodded. Sebastian sighed nodding, "Would you consider running away tonight?"
"No" Jordan said.
"Damn it" Sebastian cursed, "I'm not paying Clary a thing".
"There's still time, let's get some drinks" Alec said, as each of them took hold of two bottles of beers and walked back to the girls, Sebastian and Alec each thinking of ways to scare the guy away in time to win the bet.
"So where's Jace?" Maia asked as she got into the fast paced rhythm.
Probably sulking in his room, Clary thought but didn't say.
"Grinding against that girl" Isabelle answered.
Clary's eyes grew three times its size as she looked to where Isabelle pointed and true to her words, she saw Jace with that girl Diana, his date. The two were moving to the beat of the music with Jace standing behind her, grinding against the girl's ass with his lips attached to her neck, brushing her hair away. She felt a tightening in her chest at the sight, for the first time ever she could literally feel her heart rip in half and her stomach sinking.
Jealousy was one thing she could deal with, but this felt a thousand times worse. It felt like someone reached down her throat and tore her heart out from its place and fed it to her. Being beaten down and knocked to the ground, couldn't have prepared her for this. This was the first time she had seen Jace with someone for months. Probably since the last Lightwood party.
She should have looked away, she tried to, but she kept her gaze at him.
She shouldn't have felt bad about this, he was free to do what ever he liked, she turned him down. She has to live with this, there was nothing for her to do about it.
"Drinks, everyone?" Sebastian asked.
There was one thing she could do about it, Clary tore a bottle out of his hand and took a giant gulp, scrunching her face when it was half empty, "Is this low alcohol?"
"Yes" Sebastian said confused.
"I'm gonna go find Magnus" Alec said, leaving with a disinterested sigh.
"I'm gonna go find something with 30% and above" Clary announced and left in the opposite direction of Alec.
Isabelle looked after Clary, "I'm gonna go make sure she doesn't find it" and left after her.
Sebastian looked at Maia and Jordan, "I'm gonna go somewhere where I'm not a third wheel" he said before going away in another direction, right to the middle of the party.
Maia and Jordan looked at each other before he smiled, "I don't want to go anywhere".
"Good" Maia said smiling as she pulled him towards her.
"Are you okay?" Isabelle asked catching up to Clary.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Clary said as she put down the now empty beer bottle and looked through the cooler.
"Uuumm just a hunch?" Isabelle tried looking at the girl.
"Finally" Clary whispered as she found a vodka bottle with 60% alcohol, she opened it and as she was going to drink it, a hand captured her wrist stopping her movement, she looked up at Iz, "What?"
"I don't think this is such a good idea" Isabelle said. A good friend knows when her friend should not be around alcohol. "You look like you are pissed off, I don't think you want to do this".
"I need this, Iz" Clary said in a pleading tone and Isabelle almost jumped back in shock at the look of pure need on Clary's face. She looked like she has to have that bottle or she would die, someone else might have thought that was a sign to stop her. But Iz didn't. A good friend knows when to let you drink your liver to death. So she let go of her hand, "Thank you" Clary said before taking a huge sip.
She flinched back when she had her fill, an instant burning senastion vibrated through her throat and heat pooled in her side, was that her kidney or liver? She wasn't sure. "Wow, yes, want some?" Clary tipped the bottle to Iz.
"No thanks" Iz said raising her hand up. One of us needs to stay sober for the other, she thought, she needs to keep an eye on her for tonight.
"More for me I guess" Clary said as she took another big sip. This doesn't feel better? Why isn't this working? She expected this to work, to forget Jace and that girl, but she just kept seeing them in her head. Why is she still hurting? Maybe she needs more alcohol. Yeah that seems right, if it couldn't help her forget Jace, at least it would make the room stop spinning. Or would it? She wasn't sure.
Isabelle has been following Clary for over two and a half hours now, she had to admit, drunk Clary was fun and talkative, so very talkative. Even though Isabelle had expected her to fall on the ground crying or try to hook up with someone she didn't. She was a weird drunk. She was dancing, she hadn't stopped dancing for two and a half hours. She was now jumping up and down, holding her bottle of vodka in her hand.
And Isabelle needed a bathroom so bad, but she didn't want to leave Clary alone. She had no idea what she might do suddenly. She spotted Magnus and Alec sitting on the couch in the corner of the room, making out. BINGO.
"Hey Clary, let's go over there" Isabelle said in an excited tone as if speaking to a kid.
"No, dance" Clary said, not opening her eyes.
"Yeah we'll dance there with Magnus and Alec" Is said in the same tone and Clary opened wide green eyes, looking up at her with an innocent expression.
"Yes, I love Magnus, he is such a good friend and he is so sparkly" Clary spoke like a child, "Alec is so lucky".
"Let's go tell him that" Is said and Clary nodded frantically looking at where Isabelle pointed and started walking over there before Isabelle stopped her and redirected her path.
"Guys, I need to use the bathroom" Isabelle said breaking through their kissing session. "Babysit for me? Thanks" Isabelle ran before either of the had a chance to protest.
"Wait a-" Alec tried but it was no use.
"Biscuit?" Magnus asked looking at Clary and she giggled. "Wonderful" Magnus said, realizing the state she was in. Clary started dancing in front of them before she caught a familiar head in the corner of her eyes.
She saw Jace and Diana, but the two weren't dancing, they were... arguing? She seemed mad. Clary hoped she would be mad, so mad she ran out of the party and right into a hole and die. No that seemed excessive. Maybe fall into a hole and be found in a few days? Yeah that seemed better.
She saw her huff and Jace made a gesture with his hand that she supposed would mean 'Whatever', even if he was spinning while doing it, before he walked away and walked up the stairs. Hmm, good.
Clary looked back at Alec and Magnus, they would never let her leave, she waited for them to look away, she waited and waited and now. She walked away as noiseless as she could and held onto the wall as she walked up the stairs. Why was everything spinning? She bet it was Iz's fault. She probably plotted with the floor and the house to spin to annoy her.
Damn that Izzy. She was a great friend.
She somehow found the end of the stairs and she smiled as she opened the door to Jace's room, she looked around but he wasn't there.
"Clary? What are you doing in Alec's room?" She heard an unmistakable voice behind her and if couldn't recognize the voice, she could recognize the destinctive smell of soap, smoke and coppery blood and so very Jace.
"Jace" She said, did her voice sound happy or upset? She wasn't sure.
Jace was however, she sounded drunk.
"How was Dina?" Clary asked.
"Diana?" Jace corrected and she scowled, "Why do you care?"
"Who says I do?" Clary asked, before nodding looking dazed, "I care".
"Woaho, how much did you drink?" Jace asked.
"A lot" Clary answered, "I'm not sure, maybe like a whole lot? So do you like Dinah? Will you two be married at sunset?" Did she sound bitter? She felt bitter.
"What are you talking about? It was just a date" Jace said. And not a good one. He thought he could forget Clary for a night, because it has been awhile, but he couldn't, being pressed against that girl just felt wrong, he thought he could forget her but every second he kept wishing it was her dancing with him. Maybe I'm broke now?
"Yeah date, that's wonderful" Clary said with a venomus tone.
"You're upset that I brought a date?" Jace asked unsure.
"Why would I be upset? You brought a date, you're dating now, that's very very great" Clary said as she tried to duck out of the room and back to the party, she couldn't remember why she came up in the first place.
Jace stopped her in her path, "So should I not be dating?"
"No hey, don't let me stop you" Clary said as she tried to get away again but he stopped her with a hand on her wrist.
"Because if I shouldn't be dating, all you gotta do is say something" he said in a knowing tone, "If you don't say something, I'm going to keep dating".
"What would I say?" Clary said in a helpless tone.
"Well don't do that Clary, every time I go down that road with you, you shut me down" Jace said angrily, "I can't keep doing that, I told you. If you want to do something about it-"
Clary took a hold of Jace's shirt and brought him down to her level, which wasn't as much of a difference as it usually does, thanks to her heels, and she didn't let him let out another word before bringing his lips to hers in a powerful slam. She pulled back when he didn't move and looked up at him in confusion.
She heard his sharp intake of breath as he said, looking down at her wantonly, "What took you so long?"
She didn't know who moved first this time but she felt his lips move against her own as soon as they touched. Touched or rather slammed against one another, a shudder went through her and she asked herself this time, What took her so long to do this?
A/N: So hope you guys enjoyed this, the next chapter will be heavy on clace so I'll see you then...
