Angel, Wie thanks for the nice reviews

I'm posting this chapter a bit later than the others, it took me more time to write, because this one is very important. It was hard to write and it's a lot longer then the previous ones, so I just hope I didn't destroy the story. Feel free to point out any grammar mistakes.

Well, anyway, here we go with the next chapter, enjoy reading.

Chapter 5

"Let's get your boys back!" he said encouragingly.

She smiled and responded. "Yes!"

"What? You didn't tell them yet? Aren't you guys close?" asked stunned Savannah. They were on their way to the ladder leading down from the roof to the streets, and Zoro remarked that they have a lot to explain to his crew, as he revealed just a minimum information about his past to them. That surprised Savannah, she would expect they already know, with the way he described them so affectionately...

Zoro sighted. "I never told anyone Savan. At first it was too painful to... And as time went on and the pain subsided somehow, it was already something I didn't talk about." They got to the ladder and step by step climbed down. "To be honest I'm still feeling uneasy to talk about it. Besides you're right in some way. We're practicaly a family and I should've told them sooner. I shouldn't have kept it a secret."

"We all have our secrets Kenshi-san, even you can not be an exception."

Both of them flinched, startled by a smooth female voice, coming from behind their backs. They turned around to see a woman with black hair standing there, small all-knowing smile on her face.

Zoro's heart shrieked, jumped up and hid behind his spine, peeking out to glare offended daggers at Robin. How is it possible, that even with his haki obsesrvation skills she always seemed to pop out of nowhere!?

"Robin!? What are you doin' here??" he asked her, taken aback.

"Captain-san sent me here to find you. Everyone was worried about you and your health, as you looked like you were suffering from pain before you left." she said. "I apologise to have overheared your few last words. As I said, we all have our secrets and tolerate the privacy of others, as long as it doesn't affect his - or our - well-being. I'm pretty confident the others feel the same way."

nodded, feeling a little bit calmer. "You're probably right. Thanks Robin."

Robin simply smiled back and nodded.

"Well, everyone's waiting, so how about we return now?" she stated as she headed in the ships direction.

The whole crew was gathered in the aqarium, sitting anxiously, waiting for their swodsman - currently sitting on a chair in front of them with the mysterious young woman sitting beside him - to start talking.

*flashback*

By the time he returned to the ship, they were all waiting for him in the galley - no one went to sleep, wanting to wait too, anyone really tired because of their worries for Zoro. When they saw him coming, everyone went out to the deck to greet him, with Luffy in the lead.

"Where have you been?" the captain asked, serious look in his eyes. "We were all worried about you, you looked sick all day and wasn't returning, we thought you collapsed somewhere."

That's when they spotted Savannah.

"Ohohoo~ And who might this wonderfull angel be~?" Sanji swooned, dancing his way to the girl. "My lady, it had to be a misery to be alone with that green Neanderthal for even a second for an astonishing beauty such as yourself."

Veins popped on Zoro's temple, but he decided to ingnore the shitty-cook, feeling nauseous enough without the curlicue helping it. Savannah just chuckled in amusement.

"Young lady, may I see yo-"

-WHACK-

"SHE WON'T!!!"

"Zoro, is she someone you know?" Chopper asked, casting curious glances on Savannah.

Zoro nodded "Yes. Guys this is Yoru Savannah, an old friend of mine." Zoro looked each of them in the eye, his gaze stopping on Luffy.

"All of you, could you listen to me for a moment? I have something to tell you. Something I've been hiding about my past up until now, that I should've told you a lot sooner."

*end of flashback*

Zoro was sweating and his hands were shaking from restlessness. It was proving more difficult to finaly talk then he thought. Maybe he-

Suddenly he felt a hand grab his own. Savannah gave his hand a gentle reassuring squeeze, as if saing it'll be okay.

He inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly with his mouth.

Finaly looking at his nakamas he began.

"Though I lived the majority of my life in East Blue, I was originaly born in Grand Line on an island named Amaya Kingdom."

Everyone gasped from shock.

Robins eyes widened. "Amaya - The island of the Night Rain." she stated.

Savannah looked at her, surprised."You know Amaya?"

Robin nodded. "I read about it in one of my books once. There's a legend, saying

the island got it's name after the first king of the kingdom, Amaya Dur' Severlang.

The whole story is: A long long time ago, there was once one beautiful island. That island had two villages on it, divided by forests and mountains, conected only by forest roads and animal pathways. On a rainy night two babies were born to the leader of each village, a girl Midori and a boy Kai , both at the exact same time. The both grew into wonderful young people so beautiful and kind, that even the island itself fell in love with them. One day they were both riding their horses thrue the forests and stopped to rest at the same meadow. When Kai spotted Midori and Midori spotted him, they fell in love with each other at the first site. They began to meet more and since the villages were on good terms, they became lovers. As the time flew, their bond got only stronger. The two married, joined the villages into a kingdom and became the king and the queen. Few years later, when they were twenty-one, Midori got pregnant with a boy. Everyone was celebrating the baby. The island was blossoming from happiness. But then, couple days before the baby was to be born, Midori fell from down the stairs on her way to the kitchen. She got seriously injured and was forced to give prematurely birth. The baby was slowly dying. Kai tried everything, called all the doctors from the island, then from neghbouring ones, but all in vain, no one could help the boy. The island was sad and angry. No! I won't let this happen! the spirit of the island thought, as it came out of the island's core and flew to the nearest neghbouring one. Please, share your powers with me! it begged the other island. -I'll give you anything you want, just please, help me become one with a human!

-I don't need anything from you my friend, I'll help you gladly. the island responded. I already saw how much you care about the three. All you need to do, is give me a piece of your heart, one of the gems and jewels hidden under your grounds and in your caves, so I can make it into a spell, that will connect your soul with humans.

-Thank you, my friend. said the spirit and hurried to do as told.

That night it was raining. On the meadow they met on, Kai and Midori were mourning their son. They were prepared to end his pain, when they heard steps. A big, white lion with black mane came from the forest. They senced somehow, that the feline isn't hostile and let it come to them. The lion licked the dying boy and a white light flashed. The spirit of the island conected with the boys and healed him completely. Midori and Kai shed tears of happiness, their son was saved, on this rainy night. They named the boy Amaya Dur' Severlang.

Severlang familys men were the kings ot Amaya Kingdom ever since then. I've heard of mysterious powers they and some of their servants possess. Apparently they still should be the ones ruling Amaya. Am I right, Yoru-san?"

The strawhats listened to the story with huge interest. The story amazed them, even some tears were shed. Zoro listened with a nostalgic expression, remembering all the times his parents told him the legend. He loved it eatch time, even now.

Savannah nodded. "Your right, I'm amazed. The Lovers of the rainy night is a pretty famous legend in Amaya, like some kind of a bed time story. The Dur' Severlangs were the royal family for hundreds of years, ever since the kingdoms beginnings. Well, were is accurate."

Zoro flinched, which didn't go unnoticed by the strawhats. Chopper looked the most worried, as the ships doctor, it was in his nature to be scared of any indications of illness. Luffy hid his face in the hats shadow.

"I don't understand Savan-sis, why were? They're not on the throne anymore?" Franky questioned, what everyone thought.

Savannahs face darkened, sorrow and sheer furry filling her features."The last king, Keishin Dur' Severlang, happened to have a twin-brother, Sehyr. Keishin was the older one, so he was the Crown Prince and later the king. Sehyr became the captain of royal guards and Keishins right hand man. They weren't the best siblings under the sun, yeah, but they loved each other, an both were loyal to the other to the grave.

At least that's what people thought."

She stopped here, giving a questioning glance at Zoro, her face practicaly asking Can you do it, or should I continue?

Zoro's only answer was a firm nod.

He looked at his crew and finished with pain in his heart.

"Fifteen years ago, when the night fell, Sehyr attacked the palace, slaughtering every living soul in it, including the woman and children. No one knows the reason behind it."

Shocked gasps and yelps came from the crew. Nami and Robin clasped their mounths in shock. Chopper and Usopp cried out, tears in their eyes. Sanji bit into his cigarette and clenched fists in anger until they were white. Franky swore, Brook took off his hat, pressing it on his bony chest.

Luffys face was still covered by the hem of his hat, but it was obvious that he would kick Sehyr to his ancestors, if the rage and bloodlust comming off of him in tsunami-high waves was anything to go by.

Zoro had to smile at this. He was once again reminded of how kind and loving this bunch was. Yes, he'll definitely protect his family this time. But first things first...

"Luffy, you guys, there's few more things you should know about." he stated gathering the rooms attention.

Taking a deep breath he straightened up and speaked.

" The night of the attack, I was in the palace too. I escaped, but he caught me in the woods. My brother saved me and told me to run. It took me two days to get to the nearest village and hide in a merchant ship, sailing to the East Blue. When the sailors asked what my name is, I said "Roronoa Zoro", but...that's not...entirely true. It's...not my name. My real name is Zorodom Dur' Severlang, Prince of the Amaya Kingdom and the last rightful heir to the throne."
