Hi, everyone! I've been working very hard on this story and finally managed to write this piece. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did while writing it. Please feel free to review, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Disclaimer: I don't own My Hero Academia or any of its characters. Mizuki, however, is my own creation.

Let's start with the story, shall we?*

Chapter 7

One week later…

Mizuki lay comfortably in her bed, resting in an unconscious state where she didn't dream anything. After the events of the exam and a long week of school she was finally going to have an off day. Her plans mainly including sleep.

She managed to finish up with her new bedding in the week and despite working through a few nights, it turned out perfect. Her sleep was prolonged by the feeling of sleeping on a pair of clouds, the soft touch caressing her body.

It felt like heaven.

The creaking of her room door echoed through her room, her mother looking inside to find her daughter still asleep. Her face softened and a smile made its way onto her lips. She opened the door and entered, trying her best not to make any unnecessary sounds.

Mitsuki pulled out a white envelope, the seal of U.A. High School attached on the backside, on her desk. She gave her daughter one last glance and then exited her room. She slowly and softly closed the door behind her and let out a sigh.

The letter came in first thing the morning and despite feeling her nerves eat her up from the inside, she didn't want to wake Mizuki up. She knew her daughter worked hard and stayed up late some nights to do designing. She wanted her to rest today.

"HELL YEAH!" Katsuki's voice ran throughout the entire Bakugou house and Mitsuki turned white. There was no mistaken that Mizuki was awake now and all hell was going to be loose. She heard a flurry of explosions behind the door and moved to the side.

"KATSUKI! YOU'RE DEAD!"

Mizuki stormed out of her room and stomped towards her brother's room. She kicked the door open, red eyes glaring where they gazed. They finally landed on the guilty party and a killing aura surrounded her body as sparks appeared all around her body.

Katsuki looked back at her and his eyes widened. Oh no. He unleashed the beast and he was going to pay for it. Mizuki let out a steamed breath as she took a step closer to her brother, the male taking a step back.

"There's no running from this, Katsuki. I finally had my day off and you ruined my beauty sleep." An explosion erupted from the palm of her hands and Katsuki gritted his teeth, sweat trailing down the side of his face.

He had to do something before she killed him. It was one thing that he dreaded and knew he should never do. Never wake Mizuki up on her off days. Her inner villain awakened and no hero, even All Might would ever win against it.

She was a monster.

Mizuki's red eyes travelled towards a white letter in her brother's hand, her eyes narrowing onto the seal of U.A. She continued to stare at it, her dangerous aura fading away as realization wash over her and her body relaxed.

"The letter came… No way!" She rushed out of his room and saw her mother point inside her room. She entered the room, red eyes darting around before they fell onto the envelope. She hesitantly opened the envelope, her heart hammering in her chest.

What if she failed? She suddenly stopped and doubted herself. What would she do if she failed? The thought made her body fill up with dread and she bit her bottom lip. She didn't want to make assumptions. Results first, decision second.

Five seconds of insane courage… She told herself and then opened up the letter. She read through the contents, her red eyes scanning over the piece of paper. As she read, happiness swelled up in her chest.

"ALRIGHT! I DID IT!" She pumped her fist into the air and smiled down at the paper. She more than made it, she was the number two ranking student out of the entrance exam. She completely aced it and she couldn't be more joyful.

I was worried about nothing and I'm glad I was woken up. Number two, huh? I wonder who got first place… As her thoughts trailed off, she saw her brother lean in her doorway, a big grin plastered on his lips.

"Don't tell me… You're number one, aren't you?" The arrogant gleam that crossed through his orbs gave her the answer she was looking for. She walked towards him and snatched the paper out of his hands.

"Hey!"

"Y-You're kidding me! You beat me with one point! One single damn stupid point!" Mizuki exclaimed and Katsuki grabbed her results as he scanned through them. She was right. He beat her with one point in the total score.

He received higher marks on the written exam than she did, but the points she scored on the practical exam blew passed his with an easy 13 points. How was that even possible…? His brows furrowed as he read her points for rescuing.

"What? Rescue points? No one said anything about-""It was part of the test. It's your own fault for not figuring out that there was obviously something more to the exam," Mizuki interrupted him as she took her letter away from him.

Katsuki said nothing as he growled in frustration. How didn't he see it? He looked at Mizuki and clenched his fists tightly by his sides. Mizuki didn't only beat him in practical but she saw an extra purpose behind the exam.

Why couldn't he?

"I can see you're planning my death behind that glare, Katsuki," Mizuki's voice brought him back to reality and he snapped out of his thoughts. He saw her put down the letter and then pulled on a large jacket.

"You won me fair and square. How about some spicy ice-cream? I know it's your favourite and it'll be my treat," Mizuki offered and gave him a smile. Katsuki scoffed and crossed his arms over his chest, his usual scowl on his lips.

"Treat yourself. I don't want any and especially not when you're still wearing your pajamas," Katsuki turned to walk away until a hand snatched the collar of his black shirt. He felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up and paled at his sister's deadly aura.

"First, you wake me up by yelling. Then you refuse the fact that I'm going to buy you ice-cream. You're coming with me and we're getting ice-cream, do you hear me?" Her voice was low, her eyes darkening as she glared at him.

Five minutes later, the twins were both walking down the stairs. Mizuki quickly changed into a pair of black baggy pants and a fluffy jersey covered her upper body. Katsuki walked beside her, his pride shattered that he was intimidated by her demeanour.

"You may not like it, but I'm still glad that we're both going to U.A. together. And by the way, you're still my number one hero." She gave her brother a wink and Katsuki quickly averted his eyes to the side to hide the blush.

"Shut up."

Mizuki chuckled at her brother's behaviour but said nothing more as they exited the house. She knew exactly what buttons she could push to get him to blush. Even so, she didn't lie when she said that she was happy they would go to U.A. together.

She couldn't wait.

The word of the twins being accepted into U.A. High School spread like a wild fire throughout their Junior High. Most students envied them, not wanting to believe that they made it while the others saw it coming since they were the most intimidating combo in the school.

Mizuki barely survived her friends' onslaught of hugs and compliments both of them more ecstatic than she was. In return she found out that they were both officially going to Tokyo High, their first step into their future taken.

Another shock came when the school heard there was a third student who made it in U.A. High. Not to mention it was the student who was quirkless. No one could believe that Izuku made it in the school while Mizuki was just as surprised and happy.

He did it! That'll teach 'em!

Mizuki walked next to her brother towards the principal's office after the male called them in. Katsuki was quiet next to her but she notice the anger he had in his eyes and she understood why he felt like that. After all… It was a chunk out of his pride.

Mizuki knocked at the door of the principal and then opened up. "Pardon the intrusion," she softly said as she entered the office, her brother following. Izuki turned around towards them while the Principle smiled.

"Izu-kun!" Mizuki grinned widely and Izuku paled as she slung her arms around him while shaking him drastically. Katsuki crossed his arms over his chest, not happy at the scene next to him at all and the principle sweat dropped.

"You did it! You did it! You did it!"

"M-Mi-chan… C-Can't breathe…" Izuku managed to rasp, his oxygen almost completely cut off by her embrace. Mizuki quickly let go and murmured a soft apology. Izuku coughed and took deep breaths until he regained his composure again.

"I-It's okay, Mi-chan. I'm glad you came in as well. N-Not that I e-ever doubted you! I-I mean y-you are strong and-""Shut up, Deku." Katsuki cut off the stuttering teen and he quickly shut his mouth. Mizuki chuckled at the flustered boy and then looked back at the principle.

He cleared his throat and pulled on the papers in his hand. "I must say that I'm proud of the three of you. I can't believe we have three students from our school matriculating into U.A.! especially you, Midoriya. It's a miracle!" The principle pointed out and Izuku smiled nervously.

"Not to mention you two who have the top scores in the exam. I guess I shouldn't expect less from you," the older male said and Mizuki smirked confidently. She felt him add to her pride, knowing that he doubted them and had the result of them to be the best.

"I hope that you make great heroes. Good luck." The principle sent them off and Mizuki was the first to exit his office. She still had some things to do before she was ready for U.A. High. She had to get a new uniform and not to mention she had to design her hero costume. It was a lot of work.

She caught sight of Izuku exiting the room of the principle with Katsuki behind him. Her brother grabbed his collar and dragged him along, her brows furrowing at the scene. She could feel her brother's anger as it lashed out in her chest. To say he was upset, was an understatement.

Deciding that she could never leave those two alone, she followed them outside the school until they reached one of the shadowed spots. She stood behind the wall as she listened in, knowing she was going to intervene if it got out of hand.

Katsuki threw Izuku against the wall and grabbed his collar while growling. "What dirty tricks did you use to get in, huh?! 'The first student from his school to go to U.A. and get top score.' My future plan has already been torn to pieces!" He snarled as he shook the poor green haired teen.

"I told you to go somewhere else!"

Mizuki bit her bottom lip. Of course, it was about his perfect title. He was a perfectionist. She knew that more than anyone else which was why she was surprised that he didn't go off on her for joining U.A. High. However, she wasn't going to stand back and let him take it out on Izuku.

She was about to move but froze when she saw Izuku shakily hold Katsuki's wrist. "K-Kacchan… Someone told me… 'You can become a hero'. That it was because of my own effort… T-That's why… I'm going…!" Izuku exclaimed, his body still shaking in fear and determination.

The twins' eyes were wide, both shocked that he stood up and actually defied Katsuki. Izuku had always taken everything and apologized but not this time. This time he stood up and he wasn't going to back down.

Mizuki then smiled and turned to walk away, nothing left for her to do. There was no need for her to interfere since Izuku was going to be fine. She briefly stopped to look up at the sky, the bright blue sky contrasted against her red orbs.

You've grown a lot, Izu-kun.

March

As the time flied, their time neared when their time started at U.A. High School. They only had one month left before their High School lives started. Mixed feelings and excitement were mostly cooped up in their hearts.

Mizuki, tried to design an outfit in the time she had and with much struggle, bugging her brother and father, she finally made the right costume. She recalled how shocked her parents were at the papers that littered her room as she struggled and cleaning it up was even worse but worth it.

After she had locked herself up in her room, she decided to get some fresh air by jogging her usual route. She wanted to invite her brother along but he merely waved her off, saying that he was doing something important. What? She didn't know.

Mizuki let out a breath as she continued to jog, her legs taking her further and her sweat cooling her down. She could feel the faint wind that brushed her skin and ruffled through her spiky haired ponytail.

Before she realized it, Mizuki arrived at Dagoba Municipal Beach Park. She unconsciously slowed her pace as she continued by, a small smile forming onto her lips. The entire beach was clean from all the garbage, everything removed by Izuku.

The horizon was clear and open for everyone to see and the beach was visible again. He had worked hard and, in the end, it was all worth it. He finally got accepted into U.A. High School and he could pursue his dream into becoming a hero.

Red eyes then landed on a familiar scruffy, thin figure standing near a railing while looking out on the ocean. Ah, she knew him. It was Izuku's personal trainer. He looked deep in thought, his hands pocketed.

"Um, Toshinori-san?" Mizuki's voice made the male jump in surprise and she gasped when blood ran from his mouth as a result. "Shit, are you alright?! I-I have a handkerchief! Here" Mizuki quickly handed Toshinori a handkerchief.

"It's alright! Don't worry about it," Toshinori reassured her, Mizuki very uncertain that he was fine but said nothing and pulled back. "I was just startled that's all. What brings you here, Young Mizuki?" Toshinori questioned as he looked at the teen.

Mizuki was sceptical at his reply at first, not knowing of anyone that spurted blood when they were surprised but gave no comment. She pushed it to the back of her mind and then gave him a small smile.

"I'm clearing my head a bit. What about you? Are you waiting for Izu-kun?" Mizuki asked him, wondering if they were still training. She knew that if it depended on Izuku, they would definitely still keep up with training. He had determination that no one other than her brother could match.

"Ah, no. I guess that I came here out of habit." Toshinori chuckled while scratching the back of his head. He saw how she chuckled, her red eyes showing nothing but earnest emotions. It reminded him a lot of Izuku.

"Well, I'm actually glad that I bumped into you." Toshinori looked at her with a blank look. "You're probably very proud of Izu-kun for getting accepted into U.A High School," Mizuki said and then grinned widely at him.

"I wanted to thank you for helping and being there for him. Ever since he was little, he wanted to be a great hero just like All Might. No one believed he could do it because he was quirkless but he never gave up," Mizuki started and held her hands behind her back.

"In the end, he showed them all that they were wrong and you helped him achieve it. Thank you, Toshinori-san," Mizuki said, Toshinori's eyes widening at her words. He blinked a few times, then smiled back at her.

Toshinori heard a lot about Mizuki from Izuku. She was always the one helping him up when he fell, she motivated him when he felt down and she stood up for him when needed. It was completely different from her brother's behaviour.

She was the friend… No, she was the best friend Izuku always had and it still hadn't change. She came out of her way to thank him for training the teen and was proud. Toshinori was glad to know that Izuku had someone like that.

"It's a pleasure, but Young Midoriya did it all on his own and it's because of his own efforts that he made it. You're a good friend, Young Mizuki. I hope that you find the future you're looking for at U.A. High School," Toshinori told her and Mizuki nodded.

"Yeah, I'll be sure to kick ass where I go. I can't let my brother or Izuku beat me to it," she stated, her red eyes gleaming with determination. He chuckled at her words and was curious to see how she would fare in the course.

Mizuki's phone went off and she pulled it out to see who was looking for her before her eyes widened. She was going to be late for dinner! She sweat dropped at her brother's foul language message and sighed.

"Sorry, Toshinori-san, I have to head home. If you see Izuku, tell him to keep up the good work." She gave him a wink as she walked off with a wave. "See you again!" She called for the last time before she started to jog once again.

Toshinori watched as her figure grew smaller as she continued. The smile on his lips never left and his gaze turned back towards the ocean. His troubled thoughts somehow, was at ease and he had Mizuki to thank.

"You have a very special friend, Young Midoriya."

Mizuki frowned at her complexion as she looked in the mirror, her long spiky hair in her left hand as she tried to figure out what hair style to follow. It was nice having long hair but it got in the way too much and if she was going to train, it had to be a comfortable length.

If she thought about her costume design then it didn't really matter if her hair was short or long. However, engaging in combat could be a problem if her hair was all over the place… Then again, she could always tie it up?

She groaned loudly and ruffled her hair in frustration. There was only one person who was going to be completely honest with her and she needed that honesty to make her decision. Even if it meant killing the male in the process.

"Katsuki!" Mizuki knocked on the door of her brother's room and crossed her arms over her chest as she waited for him. Her index finger tapped on her bicep; her patience less than it normally was. After not receiving any form of a reply, she burst into his room.

"Hey! Don't come into my room as you please, Mizuki!" Her brother snapped at her while giving her a glare. He sat on his bed, his hands pulling down the headphones he used to listen to music. "It better not be another one of your designs for a costume. I already told you which one to pick."

Mizuki rolled her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest. "Stop complaining. I help you with your designing as well, didn't I? And you're the only one to give me critique. That's the only reason why I even ask your opinion," she pointed out and Katsuki let out a sigh.

"Fine. What now?"

Mizuki smiled and then pointed at her hair. "I don't know if I should cut my hair or keep it this long." She took her spiky hair in her hands. "If it's short it'll be easy to handle but even if it's long, I won't have a problem… What do you think I should do? Do I look better with short or long hair?"

Katsuki stared at her as he took in her question in his mind. He watched as she tried to figure out what he was thinking but managed to keep his thoughts to himself. He didn't know what this connection between them was but he wasn't going to let her figure it out that easily.

"Why do you care how you look?" He scoffed, crossing his arms behind his head. "In the end, all that matters, is reaching the top. There's no time to think about stupid stuff like that" He stated and Mizuki bit her bottom lip.

That's so coolly stated but…

"That's not all. As a fashion designer I believe that no matter what the occasion you should look your best. Not to mention that you insisted in me making your outfit looking like, and I quote: 'Someone is about to die by standing in my way'," Mizuki pointed out and continued before he could retort.

"Now, tell me should it be short or long? I don't want some awesome number one hero comeback. Just give me your honest opinion," Mizuki asked and Katsuki let out a deep sigh. He looked at her and then smirked.

"You look less ugly with short hair," he teased her and Mizuki chuckled at his words while shaking her head. She expected that he would say something like that but she was used to his insults. At least, he was honest with her.

"Thank you, Little Brother." Mizuki winked at him and received a growl because of the nickname. Katsuki, however, didn't argue against it and merely waved her off. He wanted to listen to his music without her disturbing him the entire time.

Mizuki, understanding that her brother needed some alone time turned on her heels and went to exit his room. "Oh, and Mom told me to remind you to make dinner tonight," she quickly said before leaving and then once again counter up to three in her mind.

"IT'S YOUR TURN!"
