Ink- FILLER TOWN BABYY!

Scenario- Please give inky a vote on this chapter. Also any of you guys watching Falcon and the Winter Soldier? I'd love to talk about it lol.

"Isn't that a good thing? I mean, it's her brother?" I say, confused. I really did not understand. It would be great if Mom's brother could teach me, right?

Zoe sighs, "No, it is not like that. Apollo is nothing but a womanizer and the staple for a typical male. Milady Artemis despises him."

Ah. Now that makes more sense. At this point, I can't be more surprised. Although Mom despises the male population I did have hope that her brother may be different from the rest, but that just got Thanos snapped on.

On cue, Mom starts yelling at Apollo, "Tell me one reason I shouldn't shoot you on the spot for trying to corrupt my son!" Apollo rears back, wounded.

"So he is your son," He mutters. All the hunters, including me, gaze at Artemis, expectantly. Ready for her to give the signal to shoot. Not me though, because I hardly know how to fire a bow. Mom forces herself to be calm.

"Little brother, Zoe, and Percy, my tent." I can tell Apollo doesn't like the 'little brother's comment but he smartly bites his tongue.

Zoe is silent throughout all of this. She ushers me to the main tent. We all trudge together like a dysfunctional family, but hey we aren't too far from that.

Mom pushes open the curtain-like doors and all of us enter. We enter and arrange in a circle.

"So," Apollo starts, pointing to me, "Percy is your son." Artemis nods, her silver eyes never leaving Apollo.

"Almost. Adopted. He is from one of my friends, who sadly passed away," She says somberly. I close my eyes tightly. I didn't need to be reminded why my Mom died.

Apollo thinks, "Is he the pretty one. Was it Sally?" Artemis and Zoe are glaring daggers. So am I. I hated it when people talked about my mom, and the inappropriate way Apollo was currently speaking about her, only made it worse.

"Say one more thing objectifying Sally, I'm ripping your head off." Mom growls. Apollo raises his hands in an I-give-up motion.

"Ah, my bad. So is the mortal before your adoption or is he a demigod before?" He brings up.

Artemis sighs, "That I don't know, all I know is that he was a demigod before and now." Apollo looks scared for a second.

"So wouldn't the dad be angry for an adoption without his permission." Mom returns his look and gives him a silencing look. She gently pulls me into a hug. I don't exactly know what's happening, but I lean into my mother's warmth and she clutches my head.

"Uhh milady?" Zoe speaks out. She has been so quiet most of us forgot she is here. My mom looks up, still holding me.

"What is it, Zoe?"

Zoe clears her throat and announces softly, "I have an idea on who Percy's parent or really, his godly father might be." Apollo, apparently, at some time, had summoned a chair and was now leaning on the back with his two legs, chilling. From his god position, he raises an interested eyebrow.

"Do tell," Zoe peeps out the entrance as if someone is going to eavesdrop on our conversation.

When she speaks, it's even softer than last time, "I have reason to believe that Percy is the son of Poseidon." Mom and Apollo gasp.

Zoe isn't finished, "The reasons are that Percy can hold his breath for at least 10 minutes and most of his wounds heal in water." Mom looks horrified.

"Percy almost drowned!" Zoe looks kinda scared. Apollo nods knowingly.

"That does explain the dark hair and eyes." I glare at him.

"What's wrong with my eyes?" I say self consciously. Mom goes to say something but Zoe beats her to it.

"Nothing is wrong with your eyes, brother." Mom lets go of me and point to Zoe and me.

"Brother?"

"Yes?" Apollo says. I laugh as Artemis and Zoe slap their forehead.

"No, Lord Apollo. And milady, I see Percy as my baby brother, I will try and be a good big sister for him. If you are okay with it, that is." This is news to me. If Artemis doesn't want Zoe as my sister, she can just forbid it.

"Please Mom," I mutter, but I don't know if anyone heard it.

Luckily Mom says, "Of course it's okay Zoe. He needs a big sister to keep him in line. I glance over at Zoe and she seems to have just gotten rid of a huge weight that has been lifted from her shoulders. [Atlas ;)] Apollo just stares at the two of us and then turns to me.

"Percy, the reason I said that is because most children of Poseidon I've encountered in my 3 thousand years of living have green eyes and dark, black hair." Nice, Apollo is flexing his immortality.

Mom has a grim look and tells all of us, "If he is Poseidon's son, his anger is one of the powerful ones. Like if it was Ares, Aphrodite, or Apollo. I can beat them all in a fight." Apollo yelps.

Artemis smirks at him, "Face it brother, it's true."

"I wouldn't call Aphrodite weak," I blurt out, "Like isn't the power of love like crazy strong?" Mom pulls a weird face like she has a different opinion of what I said.

"Bottom Line, Percy needs protection, and Zoe and I aren't going to cut it." Apollo steps out of his chair.

"I can offer to protect and train Percy too." Artemis's face brightens, she gives him a grateful smile.

"You will!" I realize even though how many times Artemis hates Apollo, she still loves him. Apollo flashes everyone a smile, though this time he didn't blind us.

"Sure, and as insurance here," Apollo steps towards me. Mom and Zoe tense up. He hovers a hand over my hair. Apollo then mutters an incantation similar to when Mom adopted me. He spoke in a different language than English, but I understand some words. My guess is some type of Greek.

Zoe glares at him. "Apollo, what did you do to him!" She growls, ignoring her respect, "He is glowing." I reflexively gaze down at my body and it indeed is glowing. Woah, cool, I'm my own night light. Not that I need one.

I turn to my Mom in alarm but she is just gawking at her brother, astonished.

"Y-you blessed my son." She says in disbelief. Apollo nods, confirming it. Mom isn't done though, "A person hasn't received your blessing in 2 millenniums, ever since."

"Please, don't sis," He winces. She nods and hugs him, muttering thank you. Zoe and I are just chilling in the back, playing Hunter, Deer, Bow.

Apparently, Mom isn't very friendly with Apollo because he is pretty shocked when she hugs him.

"Not a word," She scolds Apollo after seeing his prankster grin.

"Why'd you do that?" Zoe asks. The archery god shrugs.

"Little is said he needs protection, but he needs to know how to protect himself. So I gave him a little boost." He says, giving the blinding smile that most definitely didn't miss. Zoe and I avert our eyes in time.

Artemis glares and seats him, "Do not refer to me as 'little sis' again, we've gone over this so many times." Apollo flashes me a grin meaning: watch this.

"Alright little sis," Apollo smirks. She drags her now out and he immediately surrenders.

He turns to me again, "Your new powers are similar to my children's, consisting of healing, being better at archery, and an excellent singing voice." I give a look of high skepticism.

"Did you not feel the arrow I shot?" Zoe's breath hitches.

"You hit the god of archery with an arrow?!" Zoe exclaims. At first, I thought she was mad but instead she seems to be holding her laughter. She also gives me a talk-about-later look. Mom also is withdrawing her laughter. Apollo laughs as well, then steels his look, as if he wasn't just laughing..

"You need to test your powers inherited from Posiedon if you are his son," He says in a serious tone. Mom sobers up and nods.

Apollo places his hand on my shoulder and Artemis does the same thing to Zoe. Apollo's hand is unusually warm. Suddenly my surroundings turn bright and white. It's like someone blinded the world. The light dies down and just like that we are at the lake Zoe and I was at this morning.

I turn to Zoe and she subtly shakes her head, almost imperceptible. Looks like I'm not going to tell Mom about the fun at the lake.

Instead, I ask, "What's the point of flashing? We could have just walked here, right?"

Mom shakes her head, "Valid question, the hunters would have probably shot Apollo. That, I don't really care about, but they would have probably shot you because you were associating with Apollo." Apollo yelps again.

Zoe urges, "Percy, try to manipulate the water." The last time I checked, manipulation is bad. Oh, shoot! I should probably focus.

"I say concentrate on the water," Artemis and Zoe say thinking. They share a look and nod. I close my eyes and think about the water. Strangely, the process isn't stressful, it's actually quite calming.

I guess this is what mortals call meditation. What, mortals? Holy Hades! I'm talking like a demigod. Percy focus.

"Feel the ripples in the water, think of the smell," Apollo suggests. Mmm. My body starts to relax, my shoulders sag and my facial features drop. I concentrate on the murky navy water.

I wait for something to happen but alas nothing happened. As I'm giving up, a tug in my gut erects. I'm completely unprepared so I suddenly lurch forward. Zoe and Apollo gasp. I try and think about the water up now that I'm in control.

I raise my arms and the tug happens again. At this point, I gain a sense of what's happening and lean back. I peel my eyes open tentatively and gaze around. Everyone is in awe.

I note that they are staring at the lake and become shocked as well. What we see is me controlling the water to my will. I realize I still have my arms in the air and they are getting sore.

An idea comes to mind.

I smirk and I imagine the water as a large fist. Then I close my eyes. The 20-foot fist barrels towards us. A scream comes from my right as someone realizes the fist is coming for us. It continues moving as Mom and Zoe are rooted in their spots. I finally let the water disperse when it gets close to us.

Everyone screams. The godly twins look around confused. Zoe is actually the first one to pick up on it.

"PERCY!" She screams. I smirk and sprint away to beside the tree. The twins then understand and instantly a beam of light is swarming me and the next thing I know I'm back where I was.

Zoe stomped over to me and punched me. Normally, this wouldn't be a big deal, but this is the shoulder where the beer bottle that Gabe threw at me. It stung like hell but I force myself to brace it since Zoe doesn't notice and continues to threaten me.

"Do that again and there will be more."

"Perseus don't do that next time." Mom scolds me. I frown at my actual name.

Apollo smirks and shoots me a grin, "I respect it, from one prankster to another. Anyway, we figured out that Percy is Uncle's son. That's very bad."

"Why's that," I question.

Mom answers this one, "Lord Poseidon's fury is unlike most others. It's…unpredictable." Apollo claps his hands.

"How about we tackle this in the morning." All four of our heads flicks west. The sun indeed is setting without knowing we skipped lunch and dinner. I piece things together and I'm 90% sure that Apollo used his power to make it sunset. And it's not like we can ask him because after he said that flashed out.

Mom sighs, "Sometimes I wonder why bro is so weird. Anyway, we should go to sleep unless any of you are hungry." On cue, my stomach growls.

Zoe snickers, "Well someone is hungry."

"Are you not?" I retort. Zoe just shrugs. Artemis looks at both of us unsure.

"So...yes?"

"Yes, Artemis," We both say at the same time. We snap our heads at each other then share a killer grin.

Mom sighs, "Well, all the hunters are asleep for some reason. So do you guys want to eat dinner with me?" Before Zoe can say anything, I beat her to the chase.

"YES!" I tell them childishly. Zoe slaps the back of my head then points to the rows of tents.

"Are you 'trying' to wake them up?" Zoe shouts at me.

"Are you?" I counter with heat, "You are just as loud as me."

"I'm not!"

"You are!"

"I'm most definitely not," Zoe spits. At this point, Mom steps in.

"Alright, I'm flashing us to the food tent with the magic plates." She flashes us to the tent. It looks way different compared to its outside appearance. The interior consists of a bed and a couple of drawers.

"Normally someone sleeps here, but I guess they are in someone else's tent," Mom answers my unspoken question. Why would a hunter be in another tent? I give a confused glance to Zoe but she waves it off.

Mom grabs three dates and three glasses, while Zoe and I find a table nearby and drag three chairs along with it. Then we wish for our food. We must have been in a sandwich mood because we all got some type of sandwich.

Mom got a tomato, cucumber, mozzarella sandwich with orange juice. Zoe got a regular ham sandwich with orange juice. Hunters do love their OJ. For myself, I went with one similar to Moms. It's tomato, mozzarella, and pesto with apple juice.

"So I see you went with a healthier option compared to this morning's breakfast," Zoe observes while eating. I roll my eyes. She slaps my bad arm. I wince and rub my injured arm and Zoe notices.

"Oh no, Percy. Did I hit too hard? I'm sorry I really don't kno-," Zoe rambles.

"Zoe, it's fine, but you kinda punched and slapped my bad arm, the one that Gabe hit a bottle with." At the name drop, both of the scary hunters narrow their eyes. Zoe scoots over to me and gives me a quick "I'm sorry hug" I smile and verbally tell her it's fine. Mom looks at us even more weirdly.

"You two have a weird relationship," She says, then turns to my sister, "Zoe, I've never seen you act like this." When she said this Zoe's face turns cherry red, which looks odd compared to her normal copper skin.

She avoids the question, so I naturally spill, "What do you mean by normally acts like this?" I ask. Zoe blushes even more if that's even possible.

Artemis hastily replies, correcting herself, "Not that your new behavior is bad or anything. Just interesting on how your whole personality changed when Percy arrived." I nudge her, smirking.

"When Percy arrived," I boast, grinning at her. Zoe gives me a swift shove.

"Oh shut up you," She mutters, then focuses on Mom, "What will Percy's education be?" I'm pretty sure she asked that to change the subject.

"What do you mean lieutenant?" Mom asks.

"I mean," She pauses to clear her throat, " We won't be here to teach Percy 24/7." Mom nods and goes into deep thinking.

"I can get my sister to teach him," Artemis offers.

"Sister?" I mutter to myself.

"Lady Athena, Goddess of Wisdom," Zoe whispers to me.

Artemis then says, "Then again, I don't think she would tutor a child from Poseidon."

"The other is Camp Half-Blood isn't it?" Zoe grimly guesses.

"I will not have my son go to that camp," Mom says sharply, surprisingly herself, "Sorry, I have a negative opinion on Camp Half-Blood."

"Clearly," I mutter. Zoe hears me and giggles. Mom again stares ghostly at Zoe as if she grew another arm.

"What's wrong with Camp Half-Blood?" I question.

"I mean, the camp itself isn't bad, it's just the male population there that is making it the worst," Zoe admits. Mom nods in agreement. So the dudes there are crazy rude, gotcha.

"So where am I gonna go?" I ask.

"So here's the plan: You stay here for a year then we'll test out CHB for the summer," Mom carefully says. Zoe immediately interjects.

"What! Only a year?" She cries.

"Yes, I understand as much as you that I want to keep my baby boy here, but we lack the resources that he requires for his education," Mom says lovingly.

I turn red when she calls me her 'baby boy.'

Zoe frowns, "So in this year, the hunt has to have a close connection with Percy." I nod.

Artemis nods as well, "That will be a complication."

I wave it off, "It'll be fine, I'll just win them over with my killer personality."

"Don't," Zoe groans.

"So it's settled," Mom announces, "Percy, be likable-"

"Well there goes the plan," Zoe says.

"Hey!" I say as Zoe smirks and laughs. Mom also joins in then sobers up.

"Alright it's time to sleep," She chides, "Percy you are going to sleep in Zoe's tent for the rest of the year." We both nod and I follow Zoe to her tent. It's too dark to see anything so Zoe just nudges me to the spare bed in the Lieutenant Tent. We say our goodnights and crash. Well, today was pretty eventful.

Ink- If you cannot tell already, it's a filler. I just needed to get information out there. So yeah
