Hi, everyone! I hope you all enjoy this story as much as I did while writing it. Please feel free to review, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Disclaimer: I don't own My Hero Academia or any of its characters. Mizuki, however, is my own creation.

Let's start with the story, shall we?*

Chapter 28

It was time.

Mizuki let out a sigh as she relaxed her tensed muscles. She nearly fell asleep while resting in the infirmary. She left her mind blank to give her mental peace for the match and dozed off involuntarily.

The moment the older woman woke her up, she was filled with anticipation and energy, only to receive a scolding. She needed to keep an eye on herself and not push herself during the fight at all. It was a pain.

Come at me, Mizuki. I'll show you that I'm the number one.

She ruffled her own hair as she recalled her brother's words. What was he talking about? Didn't he know that he was already her number one? She chuckled. For Katsuki, that didn't matter as much as actually winning.

She wondered when they were able to speak to each other like that. It was foreign and she got chills. She didn't think it was possible. Then again, her brother responded to her distress earlier the day. Could the connection really become stronger?

"I watched your fight." Mizuki froze in her step, her back propping against the wall as soon as a gruff voice spoke up. Crimson eyes peeked around the corner to find a familiar flame hero standing in the hallway and he was talking to…Izuku? What were they doing?

Firstly, Endeavor wasn't supposed to be walking around here again. The damn elite. He was thinking way too much of himself. U.A. wasn't his property. Secondly, what was Izuku doing waltzing through the halls?

"You have a wonderful Quirk. You created so much wind pressure just by flicking your fingers. If we're talking about power alone, yours is comparable to All Might's," Endeavor said and Mizuki's eyes widened.

Did she…miss something? The fight against Iida. No, she heard this before. Tsuyu said it to Izuku long ago on the day of the USJ incident. Shoto also said that Izuku had All Might's eye that was on him and it made Mizuki's brain work overtime.

There was some kind of connection she was missing. Izuku also named all his moves to All Might's techniques. Then there was Toshinori Yagi, another dangling piece. Izuku had some kind of connection to both All Might and Toshinori Yagi. She just needed to find out what it was.

"W-What… What are you trying to say? I must go," Izuku stuttered, his nervousness giving away his discomfort. He swallowed thickly and walked passed Endeavor without making eye contact with the hero.

"It is my Shoto's duty to surpass All Might. His match with you will be a very instructive test bed. Please don't disgrace yourself in it," he said and had Mizuki's investigation in her head fly away, her anger flaring.

This guy…

"That was all I wanted to say. I apologize for bothering you," he ended and Mizuki clicked her tongue. Like hell did he mean his apology. He clearly insulted Izuku between the lines and even manipulated his son like a toy. No wonder the male was oozing revenge.

"I…am not All Might." Mizuki's eyes widened at Izuku's words. She managed to catch sight of the green haired boy as he stood there. He stopped walking away, his green eyes blazing towards Endeavor.

"That's obviou-""That's obvious, right? Todoroki-kun isn't you either," Izuku snapped towards the male and Mizuki found herself smirking. The little shit had guts and lots of it. If he kept this up, he was going to make a lot of enemies.

"The backstage is strictly for U.A. students, teachers and personnel," Mizuki spoke up as she walked into the conversation. Izuku's eyes widened at her presence, the colour of his complexion draining when he saw her blazing eyes.

Endeavor turned towards the ash blonde as she glared up at him with a smirk and threatening eyes. She stood tall against him; hands pocketed by her sides. He frowned, brows furrowing as his eyes narrowed onto her.

"I would appreciate it if you stop harassing my classmates, Endeavor. As class representative, I'm going to politely ask you to leave and join the rest of the spectators," Mizuki told him. Izuku turned blue behind the male and waved his arms to show Mizuki she needed to stop.

"Mizuki Bakugou." Mizuki's brows twitched, her smirk moving into a scowl. "You're the girl who shows skill but let herself be fooled by a much weaker opponent," Endeavor pointed out and caused a vein to pop out from her skin.

"Hey, hey, hey, I was acting politely. I even went as far as asking you to leave but you're making it difficult for me to treat you nicely, Bastard," Mizuki snapped at him, sparks appearing over her body as she glared at his striking blue eyes.

Those eyes…

He huffed and smirked. "You're a cocky brat. Your attitude isn't going to bring you far and your softness on the battlefield is going to make a lot of opportunities slip through your fingers," he said and Mizuki chuckled darkly.

"Oh, is that so? Thank you so much for the advice, Senpai," she snarled darkly at him, her hair floating up slightly. "Let me give you some in return. Stop being a prick and maybe you'll be able to reach All Might one day."

Her words had a large impact on the male, his sneer evident and his anger showing in his eyes. She touched a very sensitive subject. She felt proud of herself for riling up the male. Then again, it was his own fault for pressing on her buttons.

He then scoffed and walked on, slowing his step as he was about to pass her. She could feel the heat that came off his body in waves. She could feel the anger, the frustration and the threatening aura. It was almost enough to make her falter. Almost.

Mizuki watched him in the corner of her eyes as he walked off, her heart beating in her chest rather loudly. It was exhilarating. The look he gave her almost made her want to pounce. He was a dangerous man indeed.

"M-M-Mi-chan! W-W-What are you doing?!" Izuku yelled at her as soon as Endeavor was completely out of their view. "That's Endeavor! The number two hero! You're not supposed to be picking fights with Pro Heroes, especially not him!"

"Hah?" Mizuki looked back at Izuku who jumped slightly. "You said some ballsy things too, you know? 'Todoroki-kun isn't you either'." Izuku paled as he recalled. "He needs to know his place. Everyone is equal here. If he's acting like an asshole, then he'll be treated like one," she bluntly said.

Izuku let out a sigh, slumping his shoulders in defeat. There was no arguing with his best friend when she had that type of logic. She was just like Katsuki. They knew their enemy was one of great strength, more than theirs, but they didn't dare falter.

"Now that he's out of the way. What are you doing here?" Mizuki asked the green haired male who snapped out of his thoughts after a brief moment of getting his thoughts together. He blinked a few times and shyly smiled.

"U-Um…I-um was looking for you… You weren't at the last three matches. N-Not that I-I mind! I-I just wanted t-to make sure you were alright," he stuttered, fidgeting with his hands as he averted his eyes.

Mizuki raised an eyebrow. "As you can see, I'm fine. No need to worry yourself over it," Mizuki pointed out and Izuku's brows furrowed. There was something… She was hiding something. He was sure of it. She was fantastic at keeping it hidden, but he knew her better than she was aware of.

"Y-Yeah… A-Anyway, good luck out there. You're going against Kacchan so give your best. I'll be rooting for you," Izuku said and Mizuki's expression softened. She scoffed and then walked on, her eyes forward.

"You better keep your eyes glued to the stage, or you'll miss something." Izuku nodded with a bright smile. "You can tell Toshinori-san to also look closely too, since he's here, right?" She added and Izuku's face turned into one of cold horror.

How did she-?

"He's sitting in the teachers' lounge with the rest of the U.A. teachers. It's plain obvious when you were staring with such admiring eyes up there." Mizuki stopped right next to Izuku, his green eyes trembling as he looked at her.

"I told you that I won't dig where it's unnecessary. I know that you're hiding something from me. My advice to you is to maybe to do a better job in keeping it a secret before I find out. That would be disastrous, wouldn't it?" She said and Izuku swallowed thickly.

Mizuki had always been intimidating and dangerous in her own way, Izuku never being at the end of it other than in a jokingly way. However, as he stood next to her, he felt the true terror and it chilled him to the bone.

"Tell Red I'll be waiting for his cheering," Mizuki said as she cut through the thick atmosphere with her changed presence. She smirked and continued to walk on, her match waiting ahead of her and her best friend left in his own thoughts.

"Ah man, I'm getting nervous!" Kaminari exclaimed as he sat restlessly in his chair, Sero by his side and also in the same state. A few of the girls were all looking at the stage with nervous expressions, fearing what lay ahead.

"I've been dreading this fight since the beginning. If they get serious, they'll blow up this entire stadium!" Sero overexaggerated. No one objecting or retorting on his statement, also agreeing with the worst.

"I wonder who will win though. Mizuki-chan? Or Bakugou?" Mina mused aloud. Many had the same thought as she. The possibility for both of them coming out victor was quite high. They could only speculate.

"It's definitely Mizuki, right?"

"I don't know, Bakugou-san showed that he is also not to be underestimated. In strength, I think Bakugou-san stands a good chance," Momo replied to Jiro's statement. Ochaco felt her mouth run dry at the thought of fighting against Katsuki. Mizuki was of the same calibre. To have them fight together…

"Oh, Midoriya-kun, you're just in time!" Iida called towards the green haired boy who came walking down the stairs. His brows furrowed when he saw the deep look in the male's eyes and knew something was up.

"Deku-kun?"

"S-Sorry, I was just deep in thought. That's all." He seemed to be worried about the match, his thoughts hiding the true reason. He and Ochaco jumped when Iida suddenly started to vibrate on his chair.

"It's a phone call," he said and had them breathe out a sigh of relief. Izuku went to sit down next to Ochaco as they eyed the male. Iida stood up and walked off to a place where he could have some privacy.

"You were gone for a while, Deku-kun. Did you find Mizuki-san?" Ochaco asked, her brown eyes as big and welcoming as always. She looked much better than earlier. She still had a tired gleam in her eyes but her complexion gave him peace.

His body went rigid when he felt a tensing pressure behind him and hesitantly glanced back to see Eijiro. He sat with his eyes stuck to the stage, the redness blazing and his aura yelling out how hard he was concentrating.

"Hey, is he alright? It looks like he's going to blow any moment now," Mineta pointed out, whispering loudly to both Sero and Kaminari. No one had seen him this serious, even in the battle against Tetsutetsu.

"…there's nothing more reassuring than him having your back…"

He was anxious. Mizuki verses Katsuki was something that he himself wanted to see but simultaneously also didn't want to. Mizuki admired her brother, she looked up to him but Katsuki wanted to settle the score. He wanted to make sure he came out on top.

"A fated battle of siblings, huh? I wonder what the results of this battle will be," Tokoyami said with crossed arms as he sat back in his seat. He hadn't sustained any injuries against his battle against Shoto. All except his pride.

"The first match of the semi-finals! It's the match you've all been waiting for! They're both from the same origin, their incredible battle instincts making them blast through their opponents! It's the Bakugou Twins! They're both from the hero course…Mizuki Bakugou verses Katsuki Bakugou!"

Mizuki and Katsuki stepped out onto the stage, the roaring around them sounding muffled. This wasn't another sparring session at home. No. This was real. This battle would decide who was the strongest.

Mizuki found herself smirking, a trail of sweat falling down the side of her face. A serious battle against her brother. They often trained together and had a way of always going to far but this was different. She could feel the difference.

Katsuki watched his sister as she stood across from him and grinned. He was finally going to show her that he was the strongest. He was the best. He was number one. He was going to show her that her eyes only belonged to stay on him. She was only allowed to stay by his side because he had the strength to protect her.

"We've seen them both competing for a spot in every battle they have been put in. What will happen now that they're clashing?! Are you ready?!" Present Mic asked, his partner next to him squinting his eyes slightly.

In terms of combat ability, they both possessed great skills. Katsuki was a ball of instincts and strength while Mizuki, despite her own instincts, was calm. She analysed a situation and made a solution for her to win when her opponent was stronger. She made a way to victory.

It was going to be interesting to see them battle it out. He had a bad feeling residing in the pit of his stomach and hoped that it was merely because of something he ate. He could only hope that nothing was going to happen during this match.

"First match of the semi-finals…Start!"

Mizuki and Katsuki didn't waste any time as they blasted off towards each other with a cry. Katsuki went in for a big right swing while Mizuki went in for a countering kick. As soon as they were close to each other, an explosion erupted, the shockwave blasting through the stands.

"An enormous explosion coming from the twins! They don't waste any time, do they? Was the winner already decided? What's going on in the smoke?" Present Mic asked as they all waited for the smokescreen to clear.

Mizuki smirked as she blocked managed to bring up her arm to stop her brother, Katsuki doing the same. They pushed against each other, not one of them daring to back down and their crimson eyes blazed brightly.

"Don't think I'll fall for that, MizukI!"

"I wasn't counting on it, Katsuki!" Mizuki shouted and twirled her leg in her brother's grasp. She swung her other leg towards him, letting loose a large explosion. His grip on her leg loosened and just as she was about to counter, he threw her to the side, his hand coming along.

"DIE!" He yelled, sending her off with a blast of an explosion. Mizuki brought her hands up to cover her face. She was sent flying through the air. She clicked her tongue and let loose and explosion on her back before Katsuki came rocketing straight towards her.

He's not giving me any time, huh? Mizuki thought and managed to propel herself to dodge his exploding palm. She grabbed him in mid-air, his eyes widening as she used explosions to turn around.

"Take that!" She let loose a large explosion as she threw him down towards the stage. He was about to fly, but grabbed her shirt. Crimson eyes widened as her brother turned their positions that he was on top of her.

He let loose an explosion that blasted them straight towards the concrete stage. Mizuki coughed as she was slammed into the concrete floor, a medium sized crater forming beneath her. The force was much more than she bargained for.

Mizuki watched her brother held her arm in place, his other arm ready with an explosion. He was about to say something before she slammed her head into his. Katsuki let out a silent cry at the force and coughed when she slammed her knee into his abdomen.

Mizuki then grabbed his face, his eyes widening when she smirked. She let out a small-scale explosion and he was sent staggering backwards with a hiss. She jumped up in a stance, eyes waiting or the smoke to clear.

"You little shit," Katsuki snarled as he brought his hand down from his face, a few dark spots on his skin. "You're going to pay for that, Mizuki!" He charged back towards her and brought his hand palm down.

Mizuki summersaulted and landed on her arms before she twirled her legs in the air, her heel making contact with his cheek. He was about to counter but her other heel let loose and explosion, buying enough time for her to move back.

She was about to land until she felt a hand palm on her back. She let out a cry as he let loose an explosion on her back. She nearly fell forward, her dominant leg shooting out to stop her. She twisted around with an open hand palm to counter, Katsuki behind her once again.

"Too slow!"

Mizuki growled and slammed her elbow backwards, Katsuki yelping when she made contact with his nose. She let out an explosion on impact. Katsuki's hand shot towards his broken nose, the pain causing tears to sting his eyes.

She broke my nose…!

He let out a strangled gasp when Mizuki grabbed his other arm. She yelled as she threw her brother directly over her shoulder, his back hitting the ground. He let out a silent gasp and then snarled as he blasted himself right underneath her legs.

Mizuki was thrown off her legs and watched as her brother propel himself upwards. He came throwing down his hand palm and she rolled to the side to evade. She shot her legs out and let out a large explosion to push him backwards.

"H-Hey, this fight is intense! They're not stopping! They keep pummelling each other without a pause and they keep…smiling? Hey, doesn't this seem too natural?" Present Mic asked as he observed the fight.

The twins finally broke apart, both breathing heavy as sweat trailed down the side of their faces. Katsuki winced at his bloody nose and cursed the tears away. Mizuki, on the other hand, could feel the pain in her back from the impact.

She heard a sizzling sound and clicked her tongue. She threw off her burning jacket, and growled when she felt a breeze on her back. Katsuki burnt through her jacket and her shirt she wore underneath.

"Hey! Mind if you don't destroy my clothing, bastard?!" She snarled angrily at him, Katsuki giving her an evil grin. He got rid of his brunt jacket as well, his shirt still intact. Mizuki scoffed and tripped her shirt.

"E-E-E-E-EH?! W-W-Why?! Mizuki strips her burnt clothing?! H-How unexpected!"

Mizuki could hear the shouts, cheers and whistling that came from the crowds and rolled her eyes. She wore her sports bra beneath it all, its material specialized to guard against the heat fo her body at high temperatures.

"Are you done warming up, Mizuki?" Katsuki asked, unfazed by his sister's antics. He watched as she chuckled and stepped into a stance, her well-built and toned abdominal muscles shining slightly from her glistering sweat.

"Let's start round two, shall we?"

"M-M-M-Mi-chan?! What are you doing?!" Izuku exclaimed as he tried to cover up his vision with his arms, yet peeked through the small gap to watch the fight. It was exactly like her to do something like that. If her clothing bothered her or came in her way, she got rid of it.

"YES! STRIP MORE!"

Everyone winced when Jiro plugged her earphones in MIneta's eyes while Mina started to beat up the smaller male. It didn't seem like he minded the beating though. He was long gone in his fantasy perverted world.

"Whoa! She's ripped!"

"I guess training with a brother like Bakugou helped her tone up a lot. I'm worried if she starts stripping more than that…" Sero trailed off, Kaminari flushing along with everyone sitting in the stands.

Eijiro swallowed thickly and scolded himself as his flush darkened. This was a serious fight and yet he was looking at her with eyes of wondered. She was absolutely breath-taking as she stood there, ready for her brother and the way she gracefully fought him off… He felt his mouth run dry.

"It was quite a bold move, but it seems like the clothing restricted her," Tokoyami stated calmly and briefly closed his eyes. "It would seem that Bakugou has gotten the most damage during their fight. Mizuki may stand a chance to win."

Izuku glanced at the male, his arms slowly dropping to his sides. He and Ochaco glanced back at the stage, their eyes trembling as they watched. Visibly, Katsuki had more injuries but Izuku was sure that the impact on Mizuki's back was also quite hard.

Mi-chan…

Katsuki wiped the blood that ran from his nose and smirked darkly. She got him good. He was sure that she broke his nose in more than one spot with her attack. No matter how many times he countered, she stood up. She refused to go down.

"You better be prepared, Mizuki!" He charged straight towards Mizuki, crimson eyes narrowing onto her brother. He went to strike her, Mizuki moving just enough out of the way. She used her hand palms to guide him to the side before punching him in the gut.

Katsuki growled and slammed his hand palm in her face. He let loose a large explosion and Mizuki staggered backwards. She coughed and waved the smoke in front of her face away, her eyes tearing up.

Right in the face…!

Her eyes widened when he appeared in front of her, and punched her solidly on her cheek, his follow up a punch in her abdomen. She gasped for air and yelped when he sent a barricade of explosions towards her.

Mizuki gritted her teeth as she held up her arms in front of her face to brace herself against the onslaught. He was pushing her backwards, towards the end of the ring. The more he continued, the more Mizuki waited.

He had to take a breather somewhere… As soon as the opening was created, she burst through the smoke. Katsuki anticipated this and sent a large explosion to blast her out of the air. Mizuki let lose a small explosion to push herself onto the ground and managed to evade the attack.

She then let out a cry as she went to kick him in the side and let loose an explosion on impact. The twins' eyes widened both when they noticed the small scale of the explosion. It didn't have the impact that it previously had.

It's…smaller? How…?

"Looks like you're getting tired, MizukI!" Katsuki slammed his hand palm down and Mizuki jumped back to dodge. She eyed her brother, a deep frown coming onto her lips as she saw that she didn't make any damage at all.

What's going on? I'm sure that I let loose a large scale. Why did it come out smaller? She thought and nearly received an explosion in the face again. Luckily, her instincts kicked in on time and she only received a scratch.

"Shut up!" She snapped at him and thrusted her hand palm onto his abdomen. She gritted her teeth as she let loose another explosion, this one also coming out small and without impact. Her eyes widened and she cried out in pain when her brother kicked her in her side.

She dug her heels into the ground as she slid away and fell onto her one knee. She winced at the pain in her side and her hand unconsciously went to touch the skin. He managed to get a blow into her short ribs and she was sure it was going to leave a bruise.

Shit, that hurts! She cursed and jumped back as her brother continued to attack her. Every time Mizuki countered, her explosions were smaller than before. Katsuki took advantage of this and relentlessly pressured her.

"Mizuki is on the defence! Strange, it seems that her explosions aren't as flashy as normal and aren't stopping Bakugou at all! How is she going to get past this?" Present Mic yelled out over the microphone.

Aizawa's eyes slowly widened as he looked at Mizuki. She was struggling with her Quirk. She and her brother were blessed with a great Quirk. The more they fought, the stronger they became and yet, Mizuki's power was fading away.

Could it be…? She's affecting her own Quirk? Aizawa thought and cursed, his hands balling into fists. He knew something like this was going to happen. And now it was too late. He couldn't stop the fight without causing a scene.

Mizuki felt her temper flare as he pushed her and lost it in the moment. She punched him with as much strength she could muster. She made contact with his cheek and sent him nearly tumbling over his own feet.

Katsuki coughed and looked at his sister with brief wide eyes. He spat to the side, a tooth landing on the cement floor. He watched as her chest heaved, her body's colour slightly flushed and it dawned upon him.

She was overheating.

"Mizuki delivers a satisfying punch to her brother who lost a tooth!" Present Mix exclaimed as he flinched along with a bunch of other spectators. She could hit that hard even without her Quirk and it was alarming.

"Tooth?!"

"H-Hey, hey, hey, I get that they want to win and everything, but aren't they taking this fight a bit too far?" Kaminari asked, pale and a blue shade appearing underneath his eyes as he watched the fight.

"A-Amazing. Mizuki-san is amazing!" Ochaco exclaimed as he practically bounced on the edge of her seat while observing the battle. She wasn't yielding to her brother at all. Instead, she was standing her ground under the pressure.

"She is but…" Izuku trailed off, his brows knitting together. "Her explosions died out…? Mi-chan is supposed to be able to make bigger explosions now. And with the way she's fighting, her sweat should help keep her from overheating. Then why…?"

"Isn't it what Bakugou said?" Eijiro asked, everyone looking at him. "Quirks are physical abilities too. If she pushes herself too far then she'll tear her muscle fibres and if she kept running, she'll run out of breath."

"Then Mizuki's reached her limit?"

Izuku frowned. No. Mizuki had much more stamina than this. There was something else that was wrong. His eyes widened. Could it be her injuries? Was she still not in optimal condition? Did the day's events tire her out faster because she was still recovering?

He didn't know.

Her body felt hot. It felt extremely hot and it was only worsening. She didn't understand what was happening. She could endure a fight much longer than this without overheating her body. Then why was she…? She felt her blood run cold when she looked at her arm.

She…wasn't sweating?

"You're already running on empty, Mizuki. Your body is overheating. Let's put an end to this fight," Katsuki said and Mizuki looked up at him with a heated look. His brows twitched. She wasn't going to give up. She still had too much life in her eyes.

"It's over…when I say…it's over…"

Katsuki chuckled darkly as he crouched down, sparks flying in his hand palms. He ran straight towards her, Mizuki staring at him. Her body was so damn hot but she refused to lose this fight. She was far from done.

She wasn't sweating. She couldn't produce any nitro-glycerine for her explosions. It was as if her Quirk had been erased. It was ridicules. There was no way Aizawa would use his Quirk. They would rather end the fight earlier if it went too far. She was in a tight pinch.

She was basically facing her brother Quirkless.

He brought both hands together, her eyes widening when he let loose a giant explosion, following by one that he brought upwards, debris following. She hissed as the pieces cut through her skin, brows furrowing when a hand appeared in front of her face.

She jumped above the explosion, her legs scissoring around his torso. She then let out a cry as she turned their bodies and hit him into the ground below. Katsuki glowered and grabbed her legs as he let out an explosion to push him up.

He used her legs and slammed her into the concrete, Mizuki's head hitting the ground with enough force to disorientate her. For a few moments she had black dots spiralling in her vision, her body briefly numbing.

H-He's too strong to face without my Quirk. H-He's also not giving me time to get my bearings straight. Mizuki thought, one eyes closed in pain. She saw him go at her and swung her arm towards him, the last bit of sweat she had on her skin thrown towards him.

As soon as he let out his sparks, it exploded and pushed him back. She managed to get her distance in the meanwhile. The smokescreen was pushed aside with his arm, his killer grin and deadly eyes making her curse.

"I think it's about time…"

Mizuki took a retreating step and cursed when she saw her brother take a stance. She was in trouble. If he let loose his ultimate move and she didn't counter it, she was as good as dead. She needed a plan.

Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! Secrete! Secrete! Why won't you do what I tell you?! Mizuki yelled at her body before yelling out when her brother jumped on her. He grabbed her shoulders and threw her onto the ground with a cry.

Why…can't…I…use my Quirk…? Mizuki thought and gritted her teeth in frustration. She grabbed onto her brother's hand palms when he let lose an explosion and winced at the burning on her own hands from the heat.

"You're not strong enough to push against me, Mizuki! Give up already!" Katsuki pushed against her, Mizuki's hands burning not only from the explosion but her body that was on fire. He easily pressed her arms down and she clenched her eyes shut.

"DAMN IT!" She yelled out and a large explosion erupted from her body. Katsuki was shot off her body. He tried to guard himself against the rubble that came flying towards him, a smokescreen hiding his sister.

Mizuki grinded her teeth together as pain rocketed throughout her entire body. She forced the explosion out, the heat and impact making her body ripple with pain. It was a normal explosion that she let loose but it felt like her skin also exploded.

"Here I come, Mizuki!" Katsuki yelled as he used explosions to take him into the sky. Mizuki's half lidded eyes saw her brother move. She saw him start to turn in the air, creating a large wave of smoke to carry him.

If he hit her with that… Mizuki gritted her teeth and shot her one hand out, everything yelling inside her not to push herself. It hurt. It was hot. It was unbearable. Yet, she knew that if she didn't do it, she would come off worse than she was now.

"White explosion? You mean Piercing…? I can't control it anyway and there isn't enough time to develop it…"

Sorry, Katsuki. I lied. I did develop it to use it to a very low scale. I had only hope not to use it, especially against you. Mizuki thought and heated up her arm, pain rocketing through her body as she forced her sweat glands open. Control. Control. Control. Mizuki chanted in her head.

It hurts! She thought as tears formed in the corner of her eyes. She bit her cheek open as she pushed her limb to become a white colour. Katsuki grinned as he came closer, his hand palms glowing brightly.

"Howzer…IMPACT!"
"White…EXPLOSION!"

As soon as the two explosions collided, a beam of light exploded in the air. The impact had the people in the stands cry out, everything flying off as the explosion erupted. A large cloud came from the ring, extending into the air.

Midnight, who was also blown away by the enormous explosion heard a large crash on her left-hand side. She dared to open her eyes, the orbs soon widening. Something crashed in the side of the stands, a crater forming in the wall and cracks appearing all over.

"What? What happened?"

She looked to her right side when she heard another crash, this time, it seemed to fall into the ring. Her blue eyes widened as the smoke cleared and revealed a trail of explosion going through the stage towards the other side of the field. It blew right through everything.

There was movement in the smoke, everyone staring with wide eyes as they waited for it to clear. She tried to wave the smoke away with her whip and walked closer, ash-blonde hair catching her attention.

Katsuki Bakugou.

She looked around, her body becoming cold as she took in the state of the stage. Half if it was completely blown away. Two students did this much damage? Moreover, they were twins and made such a large explosion?

"D-Damn…i-it…" Katsuki unsteadily tried to push himself up. His vision swam as he tried to get himself up on shaky arms. He stared ahead, and blinked slowly as he waited for his vision to settle. When it did, his body went cold.

"Mi…zuki…?"

Midnight heard his rasp and her eyes shot towards the crater that was caused by a crash. There was the sound of cement breaking, smoke clearing to show the ash blonde female as she lay inside the cement.

The cement broke off and caused her limp body to fall forward. Cementoss was quick to catch her before she made contact with the ground, her body covered with bruises and burn marks. He flinched at the hotness of her skin but managed to catch her breathing. He gave Midnight a nod.

Midnight nodded vaguely and hit her whip to the side. "Mizuki-san is out of bounds! Bakugou-kun wins!" She announced, silence lingering the air and was soon interrupted by gasps when they saw the state of the stage.

"Mi…zuki…" Katsuki tried to push himself up, only to have his arms buckle underneath him. He could feel her weak conscious within him to bring him relief. However, his panic was something entirely else.

The moment he was about to let loose his explosion and Mizuki doing the same, he saw her overheated body. She let loose such a large-scale explosion to stop the impact of his but underestimated his momentum.

"Don't push yourself too much. We have the recovery robots to-""Shut up…S-She's…o-overh-heating…" Katsuki argued with the pro hero. Midnight's eyes widened at his words and blue eyes shot towards where Mizuki was being put on a stretcher and taken away.

She found herself lost for words when she saw Shoto run from within the tunnel and stop the robots. He put his hands on the stretcher, icing it with his Quirk. His eyes were filled with worry and determination.

"Half…and…half…bastard…" Katsuki finally passed out, his body relaxing as he gave into the state of unconsciousness. The silence in the crowd was soon interrupted by cries of ecstasy and excitement, everyone cheering loudly.

"What a battle! The victor of the Bakugou Twins is Bakugou KatsukI!" Present Mic shouted loudly, his face pale as he looked at the stage. "We're going to have a short break to repair the stage but be sure to tune in for the next match!"

Aizawa shot out of his chair and ran out of the room, Present Mic calling behind him, but his words falling on deaf ears. He had to get to the infirmary as soon as possible. He had an idea that she was the cause of her own Quirk vanishing and by the expression she made, she was in great pain.

A little earlier…

Shoto didn't know what overcame him. All he knew was that Mizuki was in trouble and she needed his help. The fight had gotten out of hand and before anyone could move a muscle, they nearly blew up the field.

"Wait!" He called towards the robots, Cementoss standing by the entrance as the young male came running. "She's probably overheating. Let me help before it's too late," he said and Cementoss' eyes widened.

"You're…" He saw the earnest look of the boy's eyes and then looked at Mizuki whose body he felt with his own skin. He nodded at the male and Shoto put his right hand on the stretcher. He let out an icy breath and then activated his Quirk.

He was careful with not letting the ice cover her skin and tried to lower the temperature of where she lay. His brows furrowed as he overlooked her body, his eyes widening. Mizuki… She wasn't sweating.

"To the infirmary!"

The two robots moved steadily and when Shoto was about to follow them, Cementos put a hand on his shoulder to stop him. "Leave the rest to Recovery Girl. She'll handle everything from here. You helped a lot already," he said and Shoto frowned. He watched as the stretcher take off with Mizuki.

Then why did it feel like he hadn't done enough?

Aizawa arrived at the infirmary as Mizuki was brought in, Recovery Girl gasping with wide eyes at the girl's state. Physically, she seemed stable. She had quite a few cuts and bruises on her skin, with burn marks but that wasn't the worst.

"Recovery Girl," Aizawa spoke up as he came inside the infirmary. She glanced up at him as they brought in Katsuki who was in a state of deep unconsciousness. He had much less burn marks, but his broken nose and bruises were clearly visible.

"Aizawa Sensei… What are you doing here?! You should've stopped this fight before it went too far!" The older woman scolded him with an accusing finger. Steam came out from her head and Aizawa frowned.

"I apologize. I wanted to but by that time it was too late. I came to see-" He was cut off when Mizuki let out a whine in pain. The ice next to her body had already started to melt and wasn't helping her temperature as effectively anymore.

"Oh dear. She's in a completely hyperthermia state. What exactly happened out there?" Recovery Girl asked and as they put her body down on the bed, her eyes widened. "She isn't sweating. Her body's struggling to cool down because its natural response is blocked."

Aizawa clicked his tongue and closed the door behind him. There's only one thing I can try but I need to be careful. This better work. He thought and activated his Quirk, staring at the ash blonde's body with his red eyes.

The response was unexpected and instantly. Mizuki let out a gasp and it wasn't long before small trails of sweat trailed down the side of her face. The painful expression seemed to subside while her body relaxed.

"It's working…" Recovery Girl trailed off and Aizawa deactivated his Quirk. He expected a negative response from her, but nothing happened. Recovery girl was quick to put a cold and damp cloth on her forehead and then looked at Aizawa.

"You better explain why using your erasure made her natural body's response return to normal," Recovery Girl told the male. Aizawa stared at Mizuki and let out a sigh as he ran a hand through his hair.

"I'm not sure even I know."
