Introduction to Book II

"A star that suddenly increases greatly in brightness because of a catastrophic explosion that ejects most of its mass is called a Supernova."

A pair of lips hummed softly, crimson orbs staring at the paragraph in front of her. The book she held was quite thick, the title 'Astrology, Edition 9' printed in bold on the front page. The pages were coloured by different images taken of space, the stars and different galaxies colouring the hardened cover.

"Huh? What type of weird ass book is that?" A vein palpitated out of her head at her brother's commentary. She glared at him as he pulled a displeased expression. Her eye twitched and she put down the book.

"It's not a weird ass book, Explodo-kill. For your information, it's a technical and scientific book that Rinako suggested," Mizuki told her twin brother. He blinked slowly and then snorted, a mocking smirk plastered on his lips.

"That idiot?"

"You little-!""Oh, I know this book!" A green haired teen suddenly popped out next to the female twin, the siblings staring blankly at him. "It has the latest discoveries of Supernova's in the galaxies with newly taken images!" He beamed and Mizuki smiled.

"Of course you would know about it, Shitty Nerd. You've always had shitty taste-""Oi, you wanna have a go, Katsuki?" Mizuki threatened, cracking her knuckles as she stood up. Sparks appeared in the palms of Katsuki's hands and he grinned evilly.

"Bring it, Fabric Conditioner!" BOOM!

Izuku didn't even register the fight between the twins. He was too concentrated on the book at hand, mumbling the things he read. Emerald coloured eyes skimmed the pages as he soaked in the information.

"Midoriya-""Kyah!" The green haired male nearly threw the book in the air when a voice suddenly spoke next to him, a hand on his shoulder. He looked at a pair of duo-coloured eyes and then let out a sigh of relief.

"Ah, sorry about that."

"Don't worry, Todoroki-kun. I was just lost in the pages, I guess," Izuku replied and gave the teenager a soothing smile. Shoto blinked a few times and then looked at the book the boy held. He raised an eyebrow and cocked his head to the side.

"'Newly discovered Supernova's?'"

Izuku nodded, eyes gleaming brightly and a grin forming on his lips. "Yeah! It's really interesting! I can't remember the last time I actually spend time to read astrology…Though, I didn't expect Mi-chan to be into it…" Izuku trailed off, the two boys glancing in the direction of the twins.

Izuku sweat dropped as he watched Katsuki and Mizuki pull at each other's hair and cheeks, sparks occasionally flying off. Some things never change at all. Well, at least the book wasn't part of the fight or it would've been blown to bits a long time ago.

"Hmm, Mizuki, I didn't know you like stuff like this," a pair of red eyes met crimson and it was followed by a pulled smile as her brother pinched her cheeks. Mizuki then head-butted her brother, the male staggering back and letting go of her. She scoffed and tidied herself, the others paling. She was acting like nothing happened.

"I'm just doing a bit of research and a friend of mine suggested I read through the book. I agreed because I thought that I may be able to find some design inspiration," Mizuki replied and Eijiro smiled in reply.

"Astrology? Isn't that stuff, like, complicated?" Kaminari asked as he and Mineta took a quick peek at the book, both cupping their chins in interest. Mizuki huffed and rested her one hand on her hip, she was about to reply but Katsuki's words interrupted her.

"You idiots can't even make a decent English sentence. I wouldn't be surprise if you didn't understand a quarter of the words in that book," Katsuki said and made the two glare angrily at him. Mizuki stifled her laughter and shook her head.

She watched as Mineta and Kaminari glared at Katsuki, only to be bested by Sero soon afterwards. The girls soon joined in, peeking at the book and talking about stories from their past. Mizuki found herself smiling and let out a sigh.

"Looks like you began something," Eijiro softly murmured next to her. He didn't know if she was aware of it, but somehow, her passions were contagious. It was much like how her brother riled up the class in a fight.

Mizuki chuckled and ran a hand through her hair, crimson orbs making the boy's heart skip a beat. "I guess we'll see where this is going to go, huh?" She stated, a small smile forming onto her lips. He smiled and nodded in agreement.

"Yeah."
