Humans are such pitiful creatures. The heat from the flames he had created by burning the village of Nigri was intense, but it fuelled his lust for chaos even more. A putrid stench of burning corpses filled his nose and euphoria pulsed within him. His mismatch eyes, one a deep crimson and the other emerald, drunk in the destruction he had caused and he smiled. He was always his most content when there was death and destruction around him, it made him feel stronger.

The dancing flames leapt into the night sky and the wind danced with them, causing the thatched roof houses in the village to burn in turn. Just like that stupid village in the Grasslands. He could not remember the name, it had been so long ago. Though he remembered that his old foe, order, had won that time. The True Wind Rune had vanished afterwards, retreating from humans until it deemed it right to reappear.

"Always one step ahead, Yuber." A voice snapped him from his reminiscing. He turned and seen another old foe.

"Not you again." He said, rolling his eyes. "Must we keep doing this?" Yuber flicked his sword and blood sprayed on the tall man's heavy ebony armour. "Pesmerga."

The man Pesmerga had been chasing him for what he thought was eternity. Every continent Yuber went to, the dark knight would occasionally catch up with him and babble on about some sort of desire for revenge. They had danced once, when Yuber left the big man with a cut across his face.

Pesmerga drew his longsword. It radiated a fiery glow from a rune embedded in to the hilt. "I have waited for this moment ever since you done this to my village." Yuber rolled his eyes again, taunting him. How many times? "How fitting you will perish by my King Crimson in this burning village."

"Sorry, I tuned—", despite his heavy armour, the man moved like lightning. Yuber parried his attack easily, feeling the heat from his opponent's sword. Yuber summoned his second sword to his right hand. He moved quickly, aiming for a gap in Pesmerga's leg armour, but the knight had anticipated it and leapt back agilely. Another lunge and swing from King Crimson passed his face and he felt the heat of the blade again. "You are quick, I will give you that my friend."

"We are not," Yuber crossed his swords and blocked another vicious attack. They were locked there. Yuber seen the man's brilliant golden eyes drilling into his. "Friends."

"I am sorry, friend. But we must continue this another time." Yuber taunted as a faint light surrounded him. What is this? For once, his teleportation failed him. The light dulled. Yuber felt Persmerga's strength increase but he nimbly broke free from the deadlock, before his defences were breached. "I see you have learned something for once."

"You can thank the One Temple for that, demon."

The two men stood with distance in between them, staring at each other intently. Yuber smiled, and Pesmerga followed suit.

Yuber's reply finally came: "It seems this game of cat and mouse must come to an end."
