I shall be honest, I won't be covering everyone's immediate reactions purely because even I can't handle the idea of writing so much pain and sadness, though it will all be explored later I promise you all. Anyway, just so you all know this is the last chapter of this one. I will put the first chapter of the next one up today but it'll be a fair bit later than usual. Now, I hope you enjoy this chapter where Luke goes the fuck off. And I hope you enjoy my changes to certain things. And honestly the Reyna Bianca thing had already crossed my mind so tell me what you guys think
Also, just to cheer you all up- just imagine Percy in Elysium. Meeting all the heroes- getting to piss some of them off. I for one think she'd loath Theseus for example- dude did some screwed up shit, but she'd like heroes like Bellerophon and Perseus and several others. I think she'd have a damn good time

Sorta poll for Sally's parentage/who she's a legacy of. I won't be including the vote for Vesta because she's a maiden.

There was a moment of stunned silence before Zeus let out a little cough and spoke again, "As you have come forward, Luke, son of Hermes, you are the final hero-" and Luke spotted Ethan shifting uncomfortably out of the corner of his eye- something felt wrong about that. Ethan had done the right thing in the end, "You fought valiantly at your sisters side. You are a credit to Olympus, you will also be rewarded-"

"I know what I want." Luke spoke up, his voice firmer than he'd expected it to be, which made Zeus falter.

"You what?"

"I know what I want." Luke took a deep breath, back straightening, hand still soothing from Annabeth's hair as she sobbed into his shoulder.

"Well then, Luke Jackson. What is your wish?"

"My sister-" Luke's voice caught, "She- she died to- she died to save you." and gods but it hurt to say those words, "You gods who brought this on yourselves-"

"You da-"

"No!" Hermes stood up, glaring at his father, "Let my son speak. He's earned that much. He has lost his sister today, you will hear him out."

"Yes." Poseidon stood too, "For the sake of my child you will hear the boy out."

"My sister fought against a monster who she was terrified of. Kronos was obsessed with her, and he caused her so much pain, and my sister still stood brave and tall and she did what she had to do, and she died for you. Because you're better than Kronos. So now you need to prove that you're better than him. You need to do better because otherwise this will happen again- kids will get angry at being mistreated and left out. So this isn't for me. This is for you, and for her. You owe her that much."

"Boy-"

"You will hear me out!" Luke yelled the words, "My sister once got you to give the unclaimed and the children of minor gods and goddesses cabins. And that was a step forward but it's not enough. You need to claim your damn children- before thirteen, that's around the time they start really getting noticed. They won't be left out in the world on their own at the mercy of monsters. I want them claimed and brought to camp so they can be trained right, and survive. Because it's what she would have wanted. And the minor gods and goddesses, Nemesis, Hecate, Morpheus, Janus, Hebe-—they all deserve a general amnesty and a place at Camp Half-Blood. Their children shouldn't be ignored- Lou Ellen. She's a daughter of Hecate- she fought bravely for camp- she deserves a place, they all do. And neither should Hades children- my brother should be given his own cabin too. Everyone deserves their own cabins- even if they're not an Olympian. And no more pact of the Big Three. That didn't work anyway. You've got to stop trying to get rid of powerful demigods. We're going to train them and accept them instead. All children of the gods will be welcome and treated with respect. My sister should have never had to fear you striking her down just because she was powerful- and you have to admit that you did not deserve how much she did for you. And I want you to swear to this on the Styx. All of it."

Zeus snorted. "Is that all?" his voice was sarcastic and Poseidon snarled.

"The boy is right- I know my daughter and that's what she would have wanted and after what she did for us she deserves this. They all do."

Then Athena spoke up, her voice low, "Perhaps the boy is correct, as loath as I am to admit it. We have been unwise to ignore our children. It proved a strategic weakness in this war and almost caused our destruction. I move that we accept the boys suggestions, even swearing on the Styx. "Humph," Zeus said. "Being told what to do by a mere child. But I suppose . . ."

"All in favor," Hermes said.

"Fine. In the name of the Council we swear by the River Styx to grant your request- children will be claimed by thirteen and all who have children will be granted a cabin in camp. Does that satisfy you?" as he said that thunder boomed, shaking the throne room- the oath was made. And there would be no taking it back now.

"And now, you are dismissed." Zues waved a hand, "You may leave Olympus!"

And together the demigods made their way out of the throne room, the group slipping into silence again- Bianca lingering with her father, giving Nico a small wave as he left.

As they walked Luke let Thalia pry Annabeth from him, wrapping an arm around her protectively as Luke wrapped his arms around Nico and Leo, both of them tucking themselves into his side in a way that they'd never dream of doing normally- but all of them needed the comfort and support after all that had happened, with Ethan standing slightly to the side of them, looking awkward as he followed- after all he had nowhere else to go did he?

Together they made their way to the elevator, Thalia pressing the button once they were inside- if things had been different Luke would have enjoyed looking around and taking in all the sights of Olympus but now- now he felt a wave of dread threatening to drag him under as the elevator doors closed behind them and they started to move down.

Now he had to figure out how to tell their mom than Percy was gone- gods he wasn't even sure how he was standing, how he hadn't broken down already- he was in more pain than he'd ever been in before.

He was sure that once he was alone he'd shatter into a thousand unfixable pieces. But for now- he'd promised Percy he'd take care of them so that was what he was going too- and when the doors dinged open and they stepped out into the lobby of the Empire state building a familiar voice was instantly audible, "Luke! Luke! Leo! Nico! Annabeth! Thalia! Oh thank the gods- Where-" Sally faltered, her eyes scanning the group, flicking right over Ethan, "Luke, honey where's your sister?"

"I-" Luke swallowed hard, meeting his mothers gaze, "I-" he felt sick. Gods he wished it wasn't him having to deal with this. He wished he wasn't the one who had to do this. "Mom I'm so sorry-"

"No-" Sally's face went pale, her eyes going wide as she took a step back- thankfully Paul was a step behind her and he managed to catch her when her legs gave out and she let out a horrified noise, shaking her head. "No- no you- please you can't be saying- my baby girl she- she can't be gone." and Luke pulled away from his brothers, moving forward as Sally managed to get to her feet again, his own eyes filling with tears.

"Mom I am so sorry- I'm so so sorry I- I tried. I tried so hard but she- and there was nothing I could do I- I held-" and he let out a choked sob and Sally met him halfway, throwing her arms around him as Luke wrapped his arms around her, pressing his face into the top of her head. "Mom I'm sorry-"

"No- no sweetie." Sally's voice cracked, "No it's not your fault she- oh gods she wouldn't want-" she was sobbing too, and Paul moved to pull the boys into a hug as they sobbed as well.

"I-" Annabeth's voice was quiet, "Is Rachel here? I should probably go tell her."

"She-" Sally managed to lift her head, voice shaking. "She said she had to do something- I'm sure she's around here somewhere."

"I'll help you look." Thalia offered quietly.

"Me too." Ethan's voice was almost nervous, "Probably better for me to, y'know, not be here."

"Right." Thalia gave his a distrustful look, "Okay then. Come on let's get looking."

They left quickly, leaving the Jacksons to their grief.

After several minutes Luke and Sally both sunk to their knees, Luke's face pressed into his moms shoulder as they cried, while Paul kept his arms wrapped tightly around Leo and Nico, letting them both cry- they were too upset to even consider being embarrassed, their sister had died, this wasn't the time for pride.

They stayed like that for what felt like a lifetime before Annabeth and Thalia returned, Annabeth looking almost frantic.

"She's gone! Rache is gone! Silena saw her taking off with Blackjack like half an hour ago- I don't know where she's gone I-"

"What?" Luke lifted his head, his gaze focusing on Annabeth, who was sobbing, "Annabeth-"

"I can't lose her too I can't I can't-" and Thalia was pulling her into a tight hug, and Luke closed his eyes, taking a slow deep breath.

"Right." he focused on Sally, who wiped her eyes, giving a small nod. All of them wanted the chance to mourn- but Sally knew as well as Luke did that Percy would want to find Rachel as fast as possible too. After all she loved Rachel, if she'd ran off then Percy would be worried. So Sally took a deep breath.

"Where would she have gone?"

"I don't know." Annabeth let out a pained noise, "Gods I don't know where she is-"

"What about Camp?" Nico pulled away from Paul, a thoughtful look on his face, "I mean, it's where I'd go- and she'll come back there anyway right? Even if it's not where she's headed yet. I can text Will and ask if she's there?"

"Right." Sally nodded, a determined look on her face, "Camp it is."

And so they headed to the Jackson home, all of them getting into the car Paul said he'd stay at home just in case Rachel showed up looking for them, and Thalia and Ethan offered to make their own way back to camp so there would be space for the others.

The car journey wasn't too bad- it was fairly peaceful, - the roads out of the city were kind of busy but the gods had done a good job of fixing the worst of the damage that had been done in the battles against Kronos' army and Typhon so it wasn't as bad as it could have been- it just made the journey that bit longer.

When they did arrive they drove straight in- and Luke was pleased to notice that camp fairly full up, bustling with action- most of the campers had made it back already- though... it was emptier than it had been. There had been a lot of losses- and he noticed people stopping- staring at the car- saw a few people peering in- one or two of them bursting into tears and running off when they didn't spot Percy.

As they approached the Big House Luke breath caught- something was happening- Green light was shooting out of all of the windows just like it had in the dream that he'd shared with Percy- and Luke felt his blood running cold. Rachel had shown signs of the gift of prophecy hadn't she? Oh gods this was bad.

"Oh gods- oh gods no." he was scrambling out of the car, ignoring his moms, Annabeth and his brothers worried calls as he tried to sprint towards the Big House. Mist was swirling around the yard, and Chiron was led out on a horse sized stretcher by the volleyball pit, a bunch of Satyrs standing around him. "Chiron! Chiron-"

"Luke- Luke, my boy-" Chiron looked around before his expression turned grieved, "I hoped-" he shook his head, "But Rachel... I knew there was something from her tears."

"No you can't have let her- not after what happened-" his voice was horrified- "Why would she even- she knew what it did to- she's not in her right mind she- she's probably grieving you can't have let Rachel-"

"Children calm yourselves you don't understand-" Chiron spoke up two Satyrs grabbed Luke to stop him from sprinting to the house. "You can't interrupt-"

"What's going on?" Sally was out of the car now, and she was moving with Annabeth quickly following behind her.

"W-where's Rachel? Where's my girlfriend?"

Luke focused on the Centaur as he tried to move. His left arm was in a sling, his two back legs were in splints, and his head was wrapped in bandages. He looked pretty rough, but he looked determined.

"Luke, I understand your fear- but it's not as it seems, Rachel isn't doing it herself-"

"What does that mean?"

"She's not alone in there-"

"So someone else is gonna go crazy?" Luke demanded.

"No- no-" Chiron's look was sympathetic, "If young Rachel is right-"

Then another light blazed from inside of the building- a warm golden light, and then all of the light was gone. Luke didn't know if it was good or not- didn't know if the lack of screams were a good sign or just deceptive- he was terrified- Percy had loved Rachel, his baby sister had loved Rachel, he couldn't let her down too.

And then after what felt like a lifetime Rachel was walking out of the building, a wide smile on her lips and Annabeth sprinted forward, her eyes wide, "Rache! Rachel what in Zeus' name is going on- what are you doing I- Percy-"

And Rachel held up a hand quickly, her smile faltering-and suddenly Luke could see that it had been a mask. "I know. I think I've known all along." she was clearly trying to hold herself together. "Now's not the time." she grabbed Annabeth's hands and drew her to the side- and then Apollo walked out of the building- and Luke's breath caught in his throat- he was holding the hand of someone behind him, leading them out- a woman, a familiar woman- she was wearing clean clothes now, and her hair had been brushed at least- though it still looked greasy.

Luke felt as if he'd been struck by a bus. And then he was running forward, tears filling his eyes as he collided with May, who wrapped her arms around him tightly.

"I'm so sorry my baby boy." she pressed her lips to the top of his head, "I'm so so sorry. I know you're hurting. It will ease- it'll always be there but it will ease with time-"

"Mom-"May suddenly doubled over as if she'd been punched and Luke caught her letting out a panicked noise.

"Mom!"

"It's starting." Apollo's voice sounded almost troubled.

Then May straightened up, her eyes glowing a serpent green.

When she spoke her voice sounded tripled, as if three May's were talking at once. "Seven half-bloods shall answer the call.
To storm or fire, the world must fall.
To hope to win worlds must unite,
Held together by the twice liveds light
An oath to keep despite a final breath
And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death."

There was stunned silence at that.

They all knew what had happened.

The second Great Prophecy had been given.
