A/N: I still don't own anything you recognize.
"Morning, Draco!"
"Good morning, Hermione. What are you doing?"
"Making a grocery list. You mentioned me cooking for you, and something about that idea, the idea of doing something, of being in control of something...I mean..."
"You'd be in control of planning and making the meals."
"Exactly! Now, there's a few things I need to know. Do you have any food allergies?"
"None."
"Things you won't eat?"
"Don't bat your eyes at me, this is not flirting!"
"Sorry."
"It's fine, I know you can't necessarily control your emotions and by some extent your actions. No, there's nothing I won't try at least once. However, I do prefer my food dead. There was one time we went on holiday in Japan and they served something, an octopus maybe, that wasn't dead yet."
"Got it, nothing that's not already dead. I don't have too many dietary restrictions, thankfully. I know I shouldn't eat much fish because of mercury. Some soft cheeses aren't recommended."
"Speaking of things you agreed to. You did agree to see a midwife."
"I did. I'm going to guess you've already written someone?"
"I have, and she'll be here tomorrow. Don't worry, Hermione. You know her!"
"I do?"
"Yes, do you remember Hannah Abbott? She was in our year, Hufflepuff?"
"Oh, right, Susan's friend."
"Exactly. I reached out to her, knowing a friendly face might help you feel more at ease. She's agreed to come here to check you and the baby out."
'Thank you, Draco. I don't know what I'd do without you."
"You'd have sorted it out, one way or another, Hermione. No, I'm not kissing you, no, staring at me isn't going to change that. Fine, one little kiss..." Smooch.
"Thank you, I know you're just trying to humor me and my messed up brain, but you're a really good kisser. I should get back to the grocery list. There's about three books I found in the library that have recipes I wanted to attempt. You'll pick up anything I ask for?"
"Of course, remember, I like flaunting around my name and getting things completely out of season. Ha ha."
"Giggle, thank you. I'll be in the library if you need me."
"Hermione, you're not going to the library until I see you eat something for breakfast. Making menus can wait for now."
"Fine, I'd better add more marmalade to the list."
"I just assume it's already on there and was going to buy it anyway, seeing as you go through a jar every few days. Here's the biscuits, not that that's a really healthy breakfast..."
"So sweet to worry about my health."
"Yeah, yeah, well, here, have an egg."
"Not bad, a little doner than I like but, I know, safety first. There, I ate, can I go the library now?"
"Yes, and don't give me that look, you're cute without it."
"Giggle, giggle, you think I'm cute! See you later, Draco."
"Sigh, what am I going to do with her? I can't be falling for her, not now, that has got to be the worst idea ever!"
