Short OneShot of Harry Potter, ft. HEdric (CedricxHarry), happening in Goblet of Fire.

"Screw off," Harry shoves Ron, both of them quarreled after unexpectedly meeting in the walkways leading towards the school's courtyard.

Harry storms off in an opposite direction, his head filled with far too many thoughts to even think about where he was going. Every since he was forced into the Triwizard Tournament by god knows who, everything's been going wrong.

All the unwanted attention, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named's threat looming every so great over the school, now Ron's giving him a hard time- and he still hasn't figured out the next clue yet.

"Oof-" Harry huffs, accidentally bumping into another student while making his way down a random corridor.

"Harry," Cedric smiles, one hand around the smaller boy's shoulder who had seemed to lose footing after bumping into him, both of them now in a rather... unexpected position, with Cedric now towering over the shorter, startled boy.

Both of them stared into each other's eyes, Cedric seemingly lost in Harry's emerald green eyes, Harry somewhat enchanted by Cedric's grey eyes, tinted slightly brown by the sunlight coming in from a nearby window.

"I uh..." Harry squeaks, breaking them both out of their trances, both quickly adjusting their positions.

"Are you alright?" Cedric asks, concern shown on his face as he tries to calm his ever so fast-beating heart. "I-I'm fine," Harry sighs, looking down and patting his robes gently.

"That badge," Cedric's frown deepens, only this time... Instead of showing concern, he was clearly displaying disgust. Not at the Boy who Lived, but at the badges everyone had been wearing.

It was a simple badge which displayed "Support Cedric", which he likes, but what made him despise it is what it turns into after a while.

"Potter stinks!" He watches in dismay, seeing the badge turn into aforementioned words, Cedric steps forward slightly, his hand reaching out, seeing a slightly jump from Harry before continuing.

"Wha-" Harry squeaks, seeing Cedric's hand come forth made him think the taller guy was about to pound him, something he had been expecting after everything that's been happening.

Cedric's news about the Triwizard Tournament was completely shadowed by Harry's, even his dad was angered by it. Even though Cedric apologized for his father's actions, even going so far as to saying he didn't care about it, deep down... Harry thought the taller boy did.

But getting hit wasn't what happened, no.

Cedric reaches for the badge, unhooking the pin, "These cursed things," He breathes, his voice hinting anger.

Of course he'd be angry. Wouldn't you be angry if you saw the person who's been making your head spin and heart beat uncontrollably be shamed by the whole school?

He couldn't act on it though. It wasn't because he was scared of the whole school turning against him for his sexual orientation, no. He was scared of the boy not reciprocating his feelings. He didn't mind the entirety of Hogwarts turning against him, he just didn't want the one person he risked everything for to not even bat an eye towards him.

Harry watches in confusion as Cedric took the badge, threw it onto the ground and stomped on it, reducing it to nothing but a flat item.

Harry continues to watch as the taller boy whips out his wand and chants, "Incendio" flicking his wrist to that of the spell's movements, spewing out flames and burning the badge to smithereens, his mind still trying to comprehend everything that was happening at the moment.

"Why... were you wearing that?" Cedric's frown remained, his eyes now fixated onto Harry's after the shorter boy looked up at him, then to the side, showing a tint of embarrassment. "I uh... I wanted to support you," The smaller boy replied, once again striking a string in Cedric's heart, who did all he could to stop himself from picking the boy up and kissing him right then.

"Oh..." Cedric breathes out, almost forgetting why he was looking for the smaller boy earlier.

"Listen, thanks for the help with the dragon," Cedric smiles, seeing Harry nod as their eyes met again, Cedric successfully resisting the enchanting pull of those emerald green eyes.

"Y-You're welcome. I didn't want you to be the only one behind with the information," Harry smiles, recounting how all of them except Cedric had known about their task.

"You know that golden egg, it wails when you open it, right?" Cedric smirks, seeing Harry nod in response.

"Meet me in the prefect's bathroom tonight, 7.30 sharp, don't be late," Cedric continues, giving the smaller boy a wink, whose cheeks turned slightly pink.

"I don't even know the way there," Harry squeaks as Cedric turned, "Fourth door to the left of that statue of Boris the Bewildered on the fifth floor. Password's 'pine fresh'," Cedric simply answered before walking away, knowing any longer being around Harry, he'd lose his composure and self-restraint.

Harry stood there, his brain processing Cedric's instructions, wondering what the taller boy had planned.

'Well... at least I'm finally getting somewhere with the egg,' He thought, completely oblivious to Cedric's wink and the hidden message behind that, and their agreed meetup that night.

Good Morning/Evening ya'll, I'm back from yet another hiatus.

Probably going on another one after this, welp. I just wanted to push this out since it's been in my head for far too long. I'm thinking of doing a rewrite of Harry Potter, from GoF for HEdric so that he lives the story revolves around HEdric instead of Hinny? :D
