Ok everybody I'm quarantined like everyone else so here's an idea I had regarding a fic, couple things to clarify, its nine years after Midoryia got into UA, he's a Hero that's fighting what's left of the league, I'll be making a few assumptions on my part, its my fanfic so whatever.

This story is about Kota, following his parents and the one who saved him, to be a hero that saves those in need, and he's going to look badass doing it. A bit about his quirk, it is called water gun,

Water Gun: Kota's Quirk allows him to release a splash of water from his hands. The Quirk appears to be somewhat weak, most likely due to Kota's young age and lack of training and experience. The full details and extent of it are not known, yet.

but it's my understanding that he's related to Mandalay. Her quirk is telepathy, it's not unreasonable to guess that his mother had some basic telepathy, combined with water secretion made water hose, what we in America might call hydro-kinesis, with training and becoming older his powers would be stronger so that's what I'm going with, he will still be able to release it from his body, that's too helpful to ignore.

Kota stared down the building with a fierce determination. This was it, the day he had been waiting for, the day of the entry exam to UA. He insisted that his aunt and the rest of the Wild Wild Pussycats didn't come in person. It would look pretentious that and seeing all of them smiling with hope would probably make him cry and heroes don't cry.

The amphitheater was loud and rowdy packed to max capacity with young and excited candidates. Kota was no exception. A girl with long white hair sat next to him. After a moment he realized a bunch of girls had sat near him. He shook off his momentary confusion.

A man with long black hair in a black suit took the stage, Kota wouldn't have recognized him at all if it weren't for his iconic goggles hanging around his neck. He walked up to the microphone but said nothing, he listened to the chaos of the entries bickering and greeting for a moment before flicking the mic in front of him.

The resulting feedback caused the room to quiet, after another moment he said:

"A little free advice before we start. It's always a good idea to shut up and listen when a Pro Hero is in front of a Microphone, they almost always say something useful." The room was silent now, confused and a bit intimidated by the man in front of them.

"Listen up, because I hate repeating myself. There are two tests, a written and practical examination. The written exam is going to start shortly, it is forty questions, each one requires a written response, you will have ninety minutes, when you're finished you will proceed outside and follow the signs to the practical exam. The practical is a quirk apprehension test, you will have seen an exam like it before, you took similar tests in middle school but weren't allowed to use your quirk. When you finish both exams go home. We'll mail your results to you."

Kota pulled the packet from under his seat, he set it down on the desk in front of him. He let out a breath, breathing was important. He wondered if Deku was nervous then, waiting to start this test. Probably not, he decided.

The practical exam. Kota's quirk wasn't the type to help with his flexibility but he could move faster. Water has less friction than his shoes, he used that to skate in the 60-meter dash. He was paired against a weird kid that crossed the finish line a few seconds behind him leaping from a crouch like a frog.

The long jump was improved slightly, he extended the water under his trailing foot. So, he was jumping from several feet higher than ground level, succeeding in increasing his leap by several feet. He then learned that several of the competitors could fly.

A loud outgoing girl boasted: "I can fly, my quirk has tons of uses." He heard a response "Fly away maybe, heroes need stopping power" she shot back with "Said like someone who can't fly to the rescue." Kota interjected "You're both idiots" the both looked at him in surprise. "What did you say?"

Kota continued: "If you all you are going to do is brag about your quirk you should go home now because there are only two things really matter in this career. The stomach to stare death in the face, and the brains to keep cool when you spit."

He said that part a bit loud, as numerous people had stopped to stare at him. Thankfully his name was called, and he could continue.

Then came the softball throw. Kota held the ball for a moment then smiled at an interesting idea. Kota secreted water out of his hand onto the ball, holding the ball tight with the water he let it float a few feet in front of him. Kota focused on the ball he spun on his heel in a full rotation keeping the ball in front of him, he sent it flying.

Kota watched a boy named Kyoshi wrap the ball in glass from the rings around his fingers. And the loud girl from before apparently had a quirk that gave her flight AND the throwing arm of an American baseball pitcher. She was happy evidently as she did a flip after.

The Wild Wild Pussycats were waiting for him when he walked out the front gate.

"Kota!" Yelled Yawara (Tiger), the towering beast of a rescue hero. The boy went pale, he was surrounded by what are potentially future classmates and here they were to embarrass him. He pulled his hat lower over his face trying to hide and slink away. His aunt reached him first "Kota stop goofing around, you're the only one here with a hat on." (-_-) shit, he thought.

He did as he was told. Letting out a sigh of despair: "Aunt Shino (Mandalay), I didn't want you guys to come. I specifically asked for you guys not to go to the trouble." He stopped realizing another obvious detail. "Why did you guys come in uniform? It's like you want to torture me."

Tomoko (Ragdoll) let out a giggle and Ryoko (Pixie-Bob) protested. "Oh, come on we look awesome." Tiger nodded agreement before saying "We wanted to support you."

Kota looked up at the man squinting from under his hat. "You could have done that before I left, or when I got back or just in regular clothes." Shino (Mandalay) put an arm around him "We did, and we will, my young apprentice but for now let's get you a treat for your hard work."

Kota ducked out of his Aunt's embrace, leaving his hat floating for a moment before snatching it out of the air and replacing it. "I'm not hungry" his stomach grumbled. (loudly)

He was starting to make a scene that and four Pro heroes tended to attract a crowd, even in a region that the team had never made a hero appearance before. "Can we go? I want to go home." Shino picked up on his visible discomfort "Sure just tell us how it went."

Koda sat in the restaurant burying his face into his arms Tomoko (Ragdoll) rubbed his arm "What's wrong goofball Cat got-" "Don't finish that sentence." She frowned in response. Kota added softly "I'm sorry, I'm just tired." Tiger almost physically jumped at the opportunity presented to him "Hi, just tired, I'm Yawara Chatora." Kota sat up smiling at the recurring schtick.

They ate quietly for a few minutes before his aunt pushed the question on everyone's minds including his. "How do you think you did?" the written test was wack. There were a bunch of "In this situation what do you do type questions; "Well gosh, if I knew that I wouldn't need to go to this school now would I." He made a face like the Joker's for a moment before continuing "The other questions felt like I was back at that crazy shrink's office from when I was a kid." He stopped to drink from his tea and take a bite of his salmon. "I guess that I can be thankful that the session was shorter."

Kota stopped and rubbed his temples.

"Then in the quirk apprehension test, like six kids flew instead of running the 60-meter dash and got like infinity on the long jump. For the ball throw I did the thing, with water on the outside, and somehow it worked." He high fived Ryuko (Pixie-Bob).

Kota stopped too breathe, he was working himself up, they were in public, keeping it in was allowed here. "I don't know, a bunch of those idiots seemed to think it's going to be fun and games and some have never been in danger of more than a bad sunburn."

He grumbled for a moment. The four people sitting with him doing more for his mental health today than he had in the last week. The question I remember perfectly is: "What kind of hero do you want to be?" A look of surprise flashed over their faces except for Tomoko (Ragdoll) who was busy stacking her leftover shrimp rolls. "I want to be a hero that doesn't let anyone die."

The surprise returned with a different meaning. They didn't speak, knowing how hard it was for Kota release his more human emotions. "That's what I wrote along with, 'criminal or not they will be remembered by someone and that person might need them'."

He sat silently the weeks of preparing for this day and the sleepless yet tireless nights studying and training just to qualify for the race to heroics. He felt an aching in his whole body, in his soul.

Shino smiled watching her nephew's eyes flutter shut, she used her quirk to message him "They would be proud of you."There was no response.

I know this isn't a lot but I'm working on it. I have almost nothing else to do. Thanks for reading pls review, I need another student idea for chapter three, If any of you have an OC idea let me know.
