Here's chapter two couldn't resist writing this, I love this fic

Shino smiled watching her nephew's eyes flutter shut, she used her quirk to message him "They would be proud of you." There was no response.

"He's asleep" deducted Ryuko (Pixie-Bob). Less than a minute later. Yawara nudged his teammate "Mandalay, is it a good time to get him back for the marker incident?" Mandalay smiled again. "You'll need to be more specific, their's been-" she stopped herself, watching the other half of their team procure markers and begin to draw cat whiskers on his face. She sighed, "I'm surrounded by children." Tiger commented: "He took a 'Cat' nap."

Pixie-bob smirked, "I'm just giving him some suit ideas for when he gets in."

Ragdoll said: "I can't wait for our biggest fan to join the team." Capping the green marker.

Yawara coughed "We all know there are a few others he looks up to more."

Kota sat up gripping the desk in front of him the written test was in front of him unopened, there were twenty minutes left in the exam. He tore the packet open and began filling in the first answer then his pencil broke in two. He franticly picked up the pointy end and kept writing. He only made it to the third question when the Hero at the front of the room called out "Ok times up, pencils down and move on to the practical, can I get a Plus Ultra?"

Sweat started beating down Kota's face, "We'll work on that" cooed the outrageous hero. So, for the practical, we got a realistic fight in for you! Meet death row inmate muscular! This is a real live hero killer kids so he should be effective in culling the weak from the masses.

Kota woke with a start. Yawara (Tiger) had shaken him awake. "Kota! You look feverish" He felt sick. He picked up his tea and sipped it, it was cold and had gotten bitter His plate had been replaced with a paper box.

"Are we going?" He asked, still a bit groggy. "Yeah, goofball as soon as you wake up," said Tomoko (Ragdoll). Kota stood up and followed the Wild, Wild, Pussycats home.

Kota dreamed again when he went to bed that night, it wasn't a fever dream fed by his stress, it was happy remembering that even a monster like Muscular could be defeated.

The next morning was quiet, he woke early out of habit due to his training sessions with Yawara the best hand-to-hand fighter of his three roommates. He slinked into the kitchen, not wanting to make more noise than necessary, finding his leftover salmon from lunch the day before and a shrimp roll from Ragdoll, left with his salmon. He retreated to his room after grabbing a pair of chopsticks.

Sitting at his desk he looked through the drawings of his suit concepts, most of them were bare-faced plagiarism. A rebranding of Deku's suit, a red version of his parents' uniforms, and a ridiculous Pussycat uniform. Koda looked at his hat, sitting on his nightstand, and started to draw, horns, goggles and a face mask, and wrapped it with a helmet, almost samurai in design to cover the back of his neck but not jut out so far as too look jagged.

If he wanted armor it would have to be light, he imagined a dry suit or a long-sleeved wet suit so he could regulate his body temperature. The suit needed a dry pack, sleek to move through the water but large enough to carry medical supplies and a battery pack. He looked at the red armor he drew and smiled. This was the start at least.

Then a hand touched his shoulder. He jumped out of his chair and hit the floor. His Aunt Shino, the person on this earth that had been looking out for him for most of his life Pro hero Mandalay was staring at him. "Are you ok?" she asked. Kota stood up nodding. "Fine, just surprised."

She looked at his drawing, it was good, considering he usually practiced with nature. She took a nervous demeanor "There is still a possibility you didn't make it in." Kota nodded, "I'm not going to give up just because I'm not going to UA, there are other schools, it just felt right to go there, He went there, I'm following his example."

He smiled trying to provide reassurance. She put a hand on his head. He sighed. He was never going to be an adult to her. He pushed her hand off and she put his hat on him straightening it. "Don't worry too much Kota, there isn't any point now." She pulled him in for a hug he returned but was quickly pushed out of. "That's… go shower…" Kota stepped back nodding "good idea"

Kota soaked in the tub for maybe half an hour. Scrubbing the whiskers off his face and letting his body absorb the missing water he was always a little dehydrated.

When he was clean enough to rejoin society, he found the entirety of the Wild, Wild Pussycats in the kitchen, none of which were in their hero uniforms. "Jensei seems so stressed out recently, I can't figure out what's wrong with him" Jensei is Ryuko's husband of almost eight years this April. I don't know if it's the repainting or just the hours.

The stress the two seemed to cause with miscommunication was colossal. Kota decided that if he ever got married it would be to a mind reader, at gunpoint. He shared his thoughts at the three-year anniversary party when he was ten. Thinking back on it, he felt a little surprised that his opinion hadn't changed.

After listening to the conversation for a few more minutes he interjected with his irrational ultimatum which inevitably ended with it all chalked up to overreacting or reading to much into it. "I feel the need to submit my conclusion." He had the full attention of everyone attending.

He said: "You do this every year." Ryuko stared at him blankly "Do what?" Kota smiled at the opportunity. Shino was glaring at him waiting to pounce "Leading up to the anniversary you panic about not being in tune with each other, it happens every year."

Aunt Ryuko, your marriage belongs in a documentary with Wolverine's skeleton and Superman's Immune system. Nine years isn't an accident. You have never been in a fight, never disagreed about the importance of your jobs, never failed to make time for each other and never failed to stay madly in love. Your marriage is as solid as Ground Zero's abdomen. Because no matter what any of us say you're going to sort it out on…"

Kota stared blankly at the four pro heroes sitting at the dining room table. "Did I not get all the marker off or what?" all four of them start laughing. Kota turned around to see Jensei standing behind him. "Kota, that's got to be the most pleasant thing I have ever heard come out of your mouth. You must have gotten into UA to be that nice." Kota cracked a grin looking at the plain businessman. "We're waiting on the test results, but I've got a feeling." Rag doll recited the song Kota had been obsessed with for an entire summer. "Can't stop this feel'n! deep inside of meee!" Kota's cheeks were as red as his shoes when he went back to his room.

Two days later, the test results came
