Excalibur Appears!

After spending over a day with Serafall, with taking some breaks between, he eventually knew he couldn't neglect any duties, so he left his Masters side, and he began doing his usual duties.

However, as he was doing that, Haruki came across one duty that he did want to do quite a bit, so that's what he did.

He had a meeting with Le Fay.

"My, hello Le Fay-chan. Fufu, calling me to a secret room like this, what is on your mind right now?"

Le Fay's eager face became bright red as Haruki sat down beside her.

"Eep!" She let out excitedly, before cupping her hands to her chest, breathing out slowly. "A-Ah! No, I didn't mean for this setting to be so intimate!"

Haruki looked amused, as his eyes carried over the area.

While it indeed was a bedroom, he didn't think it was that intimate.

At least in the way Le Fay was implying it to be.

"Fufu, even if it isn't, I think it is rather nice~ So, what can I do for you Le Fay-chan~?"

Le Fay took all of her inner strength and forced herself to not squeal in her idols presence.

"W-Well, I was just w-wondering if we c-could speak about, t-things for the club...the fan club..."

Haruki gave an intrigued stare.

One that was also mixed together with a serene look in his eyes, something that would draw Le Fay in.

"Is that all?"

Le Fay looked at the closeness between them.

How his eyes and her own met one another.

Her breath became shallow, her eyes clouded with desire, but desire she didn't want to reveal just yet.

"A-Ah, there was also...about becoming a High Class Devil...Ha-Have you thought about your peerage members?"

"I've got a few in mind. Are you offering your services?"

Le Fay's mind was blown away with the husky way he said it, how his desirable eyes were laced with a mixture of kind and adoring intent.

"O-Oh! Being your servant would be one of the most amazing things in my entire life!"

"Fufufu, I see that's how it is~ You know, I am looking for a magician type on my group, I've researched you a bit Le Fay-chan and heard of your exploits before. You were apart of Golden Dawn, weren't you?"

Le Fay was so happy and felt shy in contrast that he did know about her, and had even done some research about her, which made sense, otherwise it wouldn't make sense for him to make her the president of the fan club, he'd have to have someone he could trust after all.

"Y-Yes that's right!"

"And your Onii-sama, I've heard he's an excellent swordsmen."

Le Fay inclined her neck in agreement.

"Ooh yes, Onii-sama is a very good swordsmen, maybe you'd be interested to fight him sometime? I know Onii-sama would want to have a fight with you..."

"Interesting~ Maybe we could meet up for a fight~ So tell me Le Fay-chan, how's the fan club?"

Le Fay excitedly clapped her hands together.

"Yes! That's been going really great! We hold weekly meetings, and have a lot of fun time together! Though Haruki-sama, can you also come to the club sometime? I'm sure the girls would be excited to see you~"

"Of course, I'd love too~"

Le Fay grinned so bright that Haruki thought that she was a treasure from that alone.

"That's really good! S-So your peerage Haruki-sama..."

As she began to ask, Haruki saw her wringing her hands together adorably.

"I do have some ideas on peerage members. Right now though, I've only got Koneko-chan and Ravel-chan as my peerage members. I've also asked Kuroka-san who is considering it, and finally, I'll be having a fight with Vali-chan for her to join my group."

"V-Vali...the Hakuryuukou in your group?!"

Le Fay was shocked.

Even she, a huge fan, wouldn't expect him to actually try and have Vali join his group.

Though she did understand the thoughts behind it, she was very curious as to what was going to happen next.

"We decided years ago that when I gained my Evil Pieces, I'd have a fight with her. If I won, then she agreed to come to my peerage. I had to prove myself to her after all, and I'm happy that she did decide to go that route. It gave me something else to strive for, you know?"

Haruki's words captivated Le Fay.

"The club is going to love this! The fact you're actually going to be fighting the Hakuryuukou...m-may I be so bold as to say that I do ship you and Vali-sama together. Hot and cold, the Dragon and the Ice King...it's such a lovely love story...but, I also love you and your Onee-sama...you and Serafall-sama...hehe, I really like the relationships with all of them~ All fun and interesting to see~"

Le Fay let out with her excitement taking over her.

Haruki was amused but happy that she seemed so happy with the role she had.

He also was glad that Le Fay was as energetic as she was, and that she was finding general enjoyment from doing stuff like this.

He also found it rather enjoyable to meet with Le Fay.

So, he took this time to have a good conversation with her, and he did have to wonder if Le Fay would be a good choice.

Though he did know that she was capable, and he'd have to speak to her more before making any kind of decisions.

The next day, Serafall had to leave. Though she wouldn't be gone all that long, it seemed that Serafall thought it would feel longer than it actually would be, something that Haruki found to be endearing and cute at the same time, he truly couldn't decide which would be the best.

Haruki watched as she began crying, hugging onto him while he stood awkwardly on.

"Haru-chan! I don't want to leave!"

"You're the one who said it was important."

He sweat dropped, Serafall sniffled.

"Bu-But, it doesn't mean I wont miss you! I mean, it would be good if we stayed together, right?"

Haruki nodded.

"We'll be together again soon. And when we are...well, lets say it's going to be a very interesting reunion~"

Serafall blushed brightly, thinking about how he was saying, what they'd be really doing together.

"Ooh Haru-chan..."

Serafall fidgeted from side to side, her mind going through many scenarios. She couldn't help but think about how it was going to be when they did return to one another's side, and even her mind went into many lewd aspects.

"You best get going Sera-tan. Don't worry, leave the town in my hands."

Haruki's words caused her to feel good inside.

Though she didn't want to leave.

"Aah...you're right. I need to be a good girl, and head off quickly...even if I don't really like the idea of it. Aah well, I'll go Haru-chan! Remember me, and then when I come back, we wont leave the bedroom for at least two days!"

Haruki grinned at her enthusiastic ways.

"My, you are ambitious, aren't you?"

"Definitely my cute Queen, definitely~"

Serafall let out a cute whine sound, but she then kissed Haruki's lips, who did the same thing back, and embraced the young woman as their kiss deepened. Haruki also felt Serafall's hands running up and down his back.

She then pulled back, and placed her hands behind her back.

"Hehe, I guess that I'll have to try and live without you my cute Queen. Don't worry, I'll soldier on~"

Haruki raised a brow, but ultimately let it go as she stepped into the magic circle.

The light from the circle began to shine around her, and soon she was warped away, though he could see that she was giving some faux tears as she did, something that he thought was rather cute from Serafall.

Shaking his head, he continued on with his duties for the day.

The next day, Haruki and Akeno were in bed together, having finished an act of passion between them. Something that they did rather frequently, yet never seemed to get tired of, possibly due to the fact that they were in love.

Akeno's tongue dragged itself up his body, before meeting his lips, he kissed her back as she hugged onto him. His arms wrapped around her as well as she broke the kiss, instead she moved her head to his chest to sleep on.

"Fufu, each time we come together my cute Haruki, I can't hold back~"

"I know, it's always amazing isn't it Onee-sama?"

Akeno didn't verbally respond, but she looked happy about the idea of it.

Haruki then placed his hand on the side of her face, while she peered deep into his eyes.

"So now you're a High Class, what plans do you have?"

"I've got a few plans for the future, some are with you, Onee-sama."

Akeno blushed and did think about the future.

Wondering what it was going to be like with Haruki when the time came for them to progress even further.

But there was something else occupying her mind at the moment.

Something Haruki could see quite evidently on her face.

"I can see in your face, something is wrong. Tell me."

Akeno pursed her lips.

She didn't want to worry Haruki with her thoughts.

"Fufufu, I wish you couldn't read me so well. I'm just worried about Yuuto-kun, that's all."

Haruki could see that on her face.

"I'll make sure that he doesn't go too down into his pain, it wont do him any good after all."

His reassuring words caused a happiness to build inside of her.

"Haruki, remember you've got a peerage now, I'm sure they'll always help you."

"I know, I've got my peerage with me now. They'll support me and I'll support them as well."

Akeno was glad that he had said that.

She giggled as she laid a kiss on his lips.

"Then you'll need all of the help you can get Haruki~ Allow me to support you my adorable Haruki~"

Akeno giggled as she pulled the sheets around them, embracing the man that she deeply loved.

Meanwhile, Isane was thinking about what had happened with Yuuto at her house. About the Holy Sword...and she didn't really know anything about them.

She thought about going to see Rias about it, so she did so in the morning. Making her way to the clubroom, she skipped up the stairs.

When she got to the door, she walked in...and saw Rias and Sona looking towards one another.

The pair looked slightly uncomfortable.

"E-Erm...what's going on?"

Rias was the first to turn towards Isane.

"I-Ise, it's nothing really..."

"I wanted to introduce my latest peerage member to Rias...but, it seems that Rias is a little busy for the moment." Sona waved her hand to the side, and summoned a blonde haired young man. "Lets make this quick Saji."

"K-Kaichou, your face is flushed...are you okay?"

"I'm fine Saji, introduce yourself quickly."

Saji did just that, bowing his head towards Rias.

"Good day Rias-senpai, and..." His eyes went to Isane, and frowned. "The pervert. Been spying on guys lately Hyoudou?"

"Says you, you ass! I know who you are as well! You're that weirdo who always follows Kaichou around like some love sick puppy!"

Saji's eyebrow twitched.

"W-Weirdo?! Love sick puppy!? You're the one who stalked Himejima-kun to the showers!"

Rias slapped herself on the forehead at the new knowledge that she did something like that.

Isane didn't hold any shame, she in fact seemed to be proud of that fact.

"So what?! Haruki has the best penis!"

Saji and Sona did a spit take while Rias sighed.

"I'm sorry Sona, my Pawn...yes, she's like this sometimes you see..."

Sona looked baffled towards Isane who was merely grinning ear to ear.

"O-Oh, I did hear that she was like that..."

"Hehehe, seems like I'm the better Pawn~"

Saji showed a superior look while Isane scowled.

Sona though shook her head.

"She took eight Pawn's Saji, you took four Pawn's. Please remember that, and also, don't attempt to be superior to people, nor cocky, I will not tolerate it. Because it can lead to dangerous situations if you don't know who the enemy is."

Sona scolded, Saji bowed his head, while Isane this time held the smile.

"S-Sorry Kaichou..."

"Yes well...it's fine, you're still learning." Sona looked towards Rias, seeing her giving off a smile, something that caused feelings to stir within Sona, and memories as well that she'd not want to remember. "I'm sorry, I have to leave..."

As Sona went to leave, Rias placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Lets meet up sometime, alright?"

Sona's face turned down, remembering the note she received from Kuroka pretending to be Rias, and she somewhat believed it was Rias, even if her mind wouldn't accept that to be the case.

"S...Sure, yes. That would be fine. Until then."

Sona made a hasty retreat.

As she did however, something seemingly fell out of her bag.

Isane noticed it, and went towards it.

"Kaichou…." She noticed that Sona had already departed the building, she moved quick. "...Buchou, Kaichou dropped this letter...it's for you."

Rias became intrigued, moving towards Isane and took the letter.

Rias' face did the same thing as Sona's own beforehand, and dropped as she read it quietly to herself.

"Ooh no...could she actually...t-this is her hand writing also...s-she loves me…?"

"Buchou?"

Rias inhaled and exhaled deeply.

"I-It's nothing at all..."

Isane looked over Rias' shoulder, and saw the letter.

"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeh?! Kaichou has a thing for you?!"

"Ise! Please don't say that! I'm sure there's just a misunderstanding...b-but, this is her hand writing...e-even then, there's a plausible explanation for all of this!"

Isane was blown away.

But a thought did keep coming to her mind over and over again.

"W-Will you still be in Haruki's harem!? You have to tell me Buchou! Even if you're with Kaichou! Please remain in Haruki's harem!"

Rias felt the urge to slam her head into a wall.

But she refrained from doing so, and merely shook her head side to side.

"...Of course I am, you don't have to question that."

Isane wiped her brow.

"Phew, I was worried for a little while there~"

Rias looked at her letter, totally unaware of Kuroka stationed a few feet outside, having heard everything that had happened, and even seen it thanks to her magic, she couldn't help but hold a Cheshire cat like smile on her face.

"Nyaaaaa~ Seems like this is going to be so much fun~"

Kuroka twirled around, and skipped away, waiting for more of her fun to come.

Later on during that day, Haruki, Koneko, Asia, and Ravel were on a large field just outside of the schools building, wearing gym clothing, with them playing some baseball. There wasn't any particular reason why they decided to play ball, beyond Asia saying she hadn't played before, so they decided to have some fun.

Kuroka decided not to go, it seemed that her mind was still on what had happened with Haruki recently with his question for her, she was deeply in thought about, though Koneko also knew that Kuroka was having a lazy day, and didn't want to come out.

Asia was up for the bat, but when she had the ball thrown at her, she panicked, and swung the bat around.

Ravel who was behind her almost received a bat to the face, as Asia panicked and didn't even notice she had whirled around before she took a swing out.

"Geez! That almost hit me!"

Ravel yelled, Asia giggled awkwardly.

"I-I'm so sorry! The ball came so fast and...uuuh, I don't think I'm good at this game..."

"Don't worry Asia-chan! Just do your best!"

Haruki cheered her own.

"Y-Yes, I'll do my best!"

Asia smiled and nodded.

Haruki didn't want her to worry, so he lightly threw the ball when she was ready.

Asia held the bat out in front of her sheepishly, so Haruki used some wind magic to blow the ball to Asia's stationary bat, allowing the ball to be hit.

"I-I hit it!"

"Now run around the field Asia-chan!"

"Ooh yes! Right away!"

Haruki watched as Asia began running, due to being a human she couldn't run as fast as the Devils, so they patiently waited for Asia to get around the field, they didn't mind though since they just wanted Asia to have some fun.

Koneko came walking up beside Haruki, as he watched Asia with a grin on his face.

"Shouldn't we be training Haru-senpai?"

"Aah, sometimes it's good to relax, don't you think Koneko-chan? Life isn't just about training, it's about experiencing the joys of it. And look at Asia-chan's face, doesn't she look so happy right now?"

Koneko couldn't deny that, and she could see that Asia was enjoying herself.

"Speaking of, Yuuto-senpai seems to be distant lately."

Koneko brought up, Haruki nodded slowly.

"Because of his past with the Holy Swords, I presume seeing that flooded his mind. Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on him, make sure he doesn't allow the Holy Swords to cloud his thoughts."

"...That would be best."

Haruki inclined his neck.

"Exactly, I wouldn't ask him to let go of the pain he felt as that's his choice to do so. But, allowing such a thing to consume him isn't going to lead to anything other than being brought into a spiral of hate."

Haruki's words caused Koneko to remember briefly about her own past with her elder sister, something that also made her remember what happened with Haruki, what he did for her, knowing that he'd be able to quell the growing anger inside of Yuuto if it got too far.

"Ooh! I did it! I did it!"

Asia cheered out, Haruki gave a small smile.

"Yes! Well done Asia-chan!"

Ravel gave a bemused look towards Asia as she jumped up and down.

As she did, Isane came running onto the field, with her hands swinging up and down.

"Whoa, calm down Ise-chan. What's going on?"

Isane stopped just before Haruki, and giggled awkwardly.

"I've found you!"

"Yes, you have. Now..."

"Hehehe...say, what are Holy Swords?"

Haruki instantly knew why Isane was asking about it.

"You're interested in them?"

Haruki asked, Isane shrugged.

"It's just, I didn't know things like that existed. I knew like, light blades were a thing. But, what's the difference between a Holy Sword, and a light blade?"

"Difference...well, I'd say that a Holy Sword is like...hmmmm, it's basically a beefed up version of it."

"So, they're stronger then?"

"Correct, they're the stronger forms of light blades. However, unlike light blades that Exorcists typically wield, Holy Swords aren't something anyone can wield, unless adjusted to do so by a few people, like the Angels say, and even then that only happens on rare occasions."

"So...it's like Sacred Gear users then? Where they're just born with the power to wield Holy Swords?"

Haruki inclined his neck.

"It's rare, but indeed. Natural born Holy Sword wielders exist."

As he spoke up, Asia came walking up.

She seemed intrigued to listen in so he didn't stop her.

"Geez, it's all complicated, these different people having different powers~ So, is it just humans that can be born with this power?"

"Though I can't recall it being a case lately, I'm sure that like Sacred Gears, hybrids of humans could probably also wield Holy Swords like full humans that are blessed can. Like Sacred Gears, it isn't like it's foretold who and what will wield a Holy Sword, it's based on chance, and the amount of light someone has. Someone can be born with a little, or a lot. Those who have a lot, can wield Holy Swords."

"I-I see...so it is a gamble I suppose..."

Haruki watched as Isane seemed deep in thought.

"Why did you want to know anyway?"

Isane suddenly became panicky, and shook side to side.

"N-No! No reason at all!" Haruki knew she was lying, but he was intrigued to see why. "A-Anyway! What's going on with these Holy Swords huh?! Are there any in Japan?!"

Asia tilted her head at Isane's attitude, so Haruki placed a hand on top of her head.

"Don't worry Asia-chan, Ise-chan's just excited~"

Asia showed a peppy smile.

"Ise-san, I know something's about Holy Swords as well."

Haruki was intrigued to hear what she had to say.

"Is that so? Then what is it Asia-chan?"

"There are Holy Swords that God did make, and there are ones that he didn't make. I believe...the ones in Japan are called Holy Spirit Swords, yes Haruki-san?"

Haruki nods.

"Yes, that's right. The most famous Holy Sword you've probably heard of is...Excalibur."

Haruki knew that Isane was seeking more information about Yuuto, it was clear she was concerned for a member of the group.

"E-Excalibur's a real thing? Like in the legends?"

"It's probably a bit different to the legends you've heard, but yes Excalibur does exist. There are seven fragments of Excalibur, each with a unique power all its own. There are also other Holy Swords that are around the world, some have special powers to them, some might not have some special power but do have a strong holy aura that is enough to crumble many Devils if they're cut with them. Excalibur is probably the most famous from a normal human perspective that doesn't look into these things that much, but it isn't the strongest."

"It isn't? Then what is?"

Isane asked, so Haruki explained the best he could.

"It's a Holy Sword called Caliburn, it's been called the Holy King Sword in the past, for its aura that's unsurpassed, and it, I believe has the ability to manipulate space to a degree. Like making tears in space to send its blade through to attack from different directions while remaining where it is, and teleporting its wielder to any place they wish to, things like that. Actually, I must confess that I've always wanted to fight the Holy King Sword user, just to test my skills against that ultimate blade, the same for Gram, the Demonic Emperor Sword."

Isane was glad that he was so knowledgeable.

However, now that she knew this, she thought about what it could be with Yuuto.

She didn't want to worry Haruki or anyone else.

She also wasn't entirely sure on what to think about Yuuto's connection to Holy Swords.

"I see! Thanks! I've got to go, contracts and all!"

"Right, see you later Ise-chan~"

Isane bowed, and began running off.

As she did however, Haruki spoke up.

"It's fine to rely on others, you know?"

Isane stopped, and turned towards him with perplexity.

"What do you mean?"

"I'm just saying, no one should ever have to be alone if it can be helped."

Isane wondered what he was speaking about.

But she believed she understood a bit about what he was saying, and gave an excited smile.

"Thanks! Bye!"

Haruki waved, leaving the others behind.

Haruki glanced to see Koneko and Ravel having listened to the conversation also.

"Fortunately, the Holy Swords aren't currently a problem within Kuoh, isn't that right Haruki-sama?"

Ravel asked, only to see Haruki's semi serious face.

"I don't know about that."

Ravel raised a question.

"What do you mean?"

"I've heard some rumours, unconfirmed since you know how the Church is, like pretty much any faction really, but yes...the rumours are that some Holy Swords have been disappearing as of late."

"D-Disappearing?"

Asia spoke up, Haruki inclined his neck.

"Yes, while it isn't our concern right now. If they came to Japan, then it might fall under our concern. The Church hasn't asked for any help from the Devils, so it isn't a situation we can become involved in, unless it does involve us directly. And even then, while the Angels would probably be okay with it, the Church itself would see it as an act against God or something, right Asia-chan?"

"I-If the Church are losing Holy Swords...then I would expect them to deal with it by themselves...that's how it is usually done. By sending Exorcists...perhaps even some of the strongest."

Asia explained, Haruki chuckled.

"That's alright, lets hope the Holy Swords don't wash up on our shores for Yuuto-kun's sake."

"...But, what if they do Senpai?"

Koneko expressed concerns, Haruki placed a finger to his chin.

"If they came directly here, into our lands, then we'd have the right to defend ourselves, and stop them if they tried to do anything with us or anyone else. For now though, we'll have to leave it to the Churches side."

Ravel agreed.

She thought that it would be best if they didn't have to deal with anything that wasn't theirs to deal with.

For now, they'd have to monitor the situation, and then they'd think of ways to deal with it.

The next day, Haruki had some duties to do for most of the day, even the likes of Akeno hadn't seen him all day, which Akeno felt disheartened about, but she took it in her stride, and knew they'd be able to spend sometime together.

He finished off his duties quickly, and returned to the school.

Going towards the Occult Research Clubroom, he went to go and see Rias and the others before he headed on home that evening.

When he arrived, he saw that Rias was casually doing some reports, Akeno was drinking tea elegantly, Isane was reading...some erotic Manga, something Haruki gave a small smile to, before seeing Yuuto being rather quiet, and looking out of the window.

He walked towards Rias, his eyes glancing towards Yuuto, who didn't show anything on his face.

"Seems like everything is well here?"

Rias nods her head.

"Nothing of note has happened. So, did you finish the tasks you needed to do?"

"Yup, just came to check on you, and see what's going on."

Her eyes went towards Yuuto, seeing that he was being rather dismissive of his situation, so she pulled Haruki to the side.

"Ever since the meeting at Ise's house, he's seemed to be different."

"Because of the Holy Sword huh."

Rias nods, casting her eyes towards her Knight.

"I'm concerned, I'm not sure what's going to happen with him. Though when I try and speak to him, it seems that my words...they just don't land with him at all. Speaking kindly, sternly, I'm not sure anything would get through."

Haruki's eyes glanced towards the boy, and furrowed his brows.

"Don't worry Rias-chan, I'll have a talk with him."

"Fuee...what are you going to say?"

Haruki shrugged his shoulders.

"Not decided yet, but if he keeps being like this, then I know he isn't going to be able to move forward." As he spoke, his phone went off. "One second." Haruki looked at the phone, at the message, and breathed out. "No rest, seems like I've got some enemies to clear out, and not even in the town~"

"Though you say that, it seems that you really do enjoy it after all~"

Rias giggled out, she did quite understand Haruki and his thoughts on fighting, even if they're small time enemies/

Haruki couldn't deny it, showing a bright smile on his face.

"I can't deny that~ Well, I've got to go, see you later~"

Haruki waved to the others, and walked out.

Yuuto's eyes glanced towards Haruki, and thought deeply about many things going on in his current life.

Rias could see that her Knight was also thinking hard about the past, she hoped that he would be okay, and contemplated on what she could say to him to help him.

Two Exorcists finally arrived within the confines of Kuoh. Irina and Xenovia, clutched their swords, but Irina then allowed hers to turn into a fancy ribbon that spun around her arm, and rested comfortably there.

They looked out over the town from a good sized hill. The rain fell down their faces, their hoods didn't even protect them from said rain.

They could see the major buildings, even the High School could be seen from where they are. They both could feel the intense demonic power coming from the town, and neither took a step to fully enter the town for a few minutes.

They were adjusting to the power that they felt, even if they weren't directed towards them.

Irina however didn't want the power to worry her, and ended up pushing forward with a large cheery grin on her face, Xenovia followed from behind, clutching the Excalibur blade that was within her hands. She was glad it was wrapped in its cloth, or her hand no doubt would have been sliced with how she was clutching the blade.

Even Xenovia felt nervous about entering a town with a reputation such as Haruki's own.

"My town! It hasn't changed at all...wait, it has changed! The Church has gone!"

"Well, it is a Devils town, so they wouldn't find it comfortable having it there."

"But the Devils lived here before, so why would it be gone now? Eeh, I don't know...but, what should we do now?"

"They'll know we're here. We have to make contact with them as soon as possible."

Replied the blue haired woman, Irina understood that.

"Yes, we shouldn't waste anytime..."

"I've received intelligence from the higher ups, and I believe we should make our way to the High School."

Irina agreed and they both walked towards the High School.

When they eventually reached the High School, they were met with Rias, and Akeno. The former had her arms folded, the latter placed a hand to her face, and gushed "Ooh my, aren't they cute~?" Rias gave her a small curious look.

But then she pulled forward.

"Exorcists, haven't you become bold as of late? Walking straight to the Devils territory and even trying to meet up with me directly? May I ask why that was?"

Xenovia gave her a small look, before furrowing her brows.

"The one named Haruki Himejima, would he currently be here?"

Rias and Akeno looked towards one another.

"Haruki, why do you want to see him?"

Xenovia exhaled slowly, something that kind of perplexed Rias, since Xenovia kept sending sharp looks towards her, as if she didn't like her.

"I'd like the one that is also called Leviathan's Executioner."

Rias raised an eyebrow.

"Why do you want to speak to Haruki?"

Rias demanded from the blue haired Exorcist.

Xenovia looked on with lidded eyes for the young woman, Rias felt a certain hostility from Xenovia for unknown reasons.

Even Akeno felt it, she wondered if Xenovia was going to attack her.

Compared to her though, Irina looked calm and composed, she didn't feel even a slight negative emotion from her.

Xenovia cut the attention back to herself as she pulled closer, so Akeno did the same thing.

Giving her a once over with her eyes, Xenovia focused her eyes onto Rias once more.

"He is the Maou Leviathan's Queen, the one that has the Longinus Absolute Demise, am I wrong?"

Akeno didn't like the fact that Xenovia was speaking in a manner like this.

She didn't want some Exorcist to be after her brother, even if she did believe he had the capability to fight.

"That's right."

Rias didn't deny it, so Xenovia bowed her neck.

"I will speak to the strongest within this town. This would not be a problem, would it?"

Rias inclined her neck.

"So you wish to speak to Haruki? I'm sorry but he isn't here right now. May I take a message?"

"No, but it is of the utmost importance that we have a conversation immediately."

"You may speak to me if it is important."

"That's fine, I'd prefer to speak to Haruki."

Rias wondered why Xenovia seemed so intent on speaking to him.

It didn't seem like it was Haruki she was gunning for.

It seemed that Xenovia just didn't want to speak to her, and was thinking more about speaking with anyone other than her, which seemed to be Haruki in this case.

Irina, seeing that Xenovia was speaking as bluntly as ever, decided to speak up.

"It is important, I'm sorry that it seems as if we aren't being considerate. We do need to speak to the authority of this town as quickly as possible. It is a matter of the Church that could also involve the Devils, if we don't immediately meet. Would it be okay if we do meet within the next day?"

Rias thought about it.

She didn't know the girls angles, but she did feel as if something was happening that she didn't like at all.

She also wondered if it was also because of the uneasiness she felt.

"...Tomorrow after school, I'll have a member of my group meet you here, and I'll bring you to my Clubroom. We can have a conversation then."

"Is Haruki going to be there?"

Rias felt a vein popping on her forehead when Xenovia asked that.

"Yes, he'll be there."

"Good, then we'll be back tomorrow. In the meantime, you may monitor our locations, I do not want any trouble."

Rias paused when she said that.

More than likely, she was aware of the reputation Haruki had, and Xenovia was being cautious.

"I understand, then we'll see one another tomorrow."

Xenovia bowed her head, and began walking away.

Irina giggled awkwardly, and winked.

"Say, do you think that I could maybe speak with Haru...eeh, never mind~"

Rias raised a brow.

"You could speak to...Haruki? What for?"

"Ooh, it's nothing at all~ See you tomorrow...Haruki-kun will be there, right?"

"Yes, but why do you speak so familiar of..."

Before Rias could ask, Irina winked, and ran off while saying "See you tomorrow~" leaving behind the young girls baffled on what to even think about what they had just witnessed together.

Shaking her head, Rias turned to Akeno.

"Akeno, lets make preparations immediately."

"Ara Buchou, if that's the case then I'll contact Haruki."

"Yes...I don't know what's going on, but they seemed serious. And to contact us right away like this...I feel as if something bad is about to happen. And that girl Xenovia...why did it seem like she didn't like me? In fact, I got the feeling she didn't want to be in my presence...it's very strange."

"Have you met her before?"

Rias shook her head.

"Not that I can recall, and if anything, I thought she'd show that kind of attitude to Haruki more than someone like myself due to who he is and the reputation he has."

Akeno felt similar to how Rias was thinking right now.

"Either way, we should gather everything ready, right Buchou?"

"Yes. And as they said, if they don't mind, lets keep an eye on them. Contact Kuroka right away, she's the best at monitoring, in fact I wouldn't be shocked if she is already aware of their presence."

"Yes Buchou. Leave it to me."

Rias didn't like the feeling inside of her, but she wouldn't allow it to rule over her.

Whatever the Exorcists wanted, she was going to be ready for what was to come.

Meanwhile, Yuuto, walking around in the rain, thought about the Holy Swords, and his past.

Deep down, he knew that acting distant wouldn't allow him to gain anything other than misery.

But, he couldn't simply forget it either.

His mind was being constantly bombarded with new and unsure feelings of what it meant to be him.

But then he felt something coming from behind him.

His eyes turned to see a holy blade being thrusted towards him, so Yuuto took out his blade, and blocked the sword…

Or he tried to anyway.

The blade pierced through the Demon Sword that Yuuto had created and scratched his arm with the blade. He winced at the feeling entering his arm, the holy power spread through his arm, and he could feel like his arm was losing its strength.

"My, so it's a shitty Devil that I've come across? But, you're also a Devil that isn't Haruki...baaah! You're boring to me!"

Freed appeared, waved his tongue out of his mouth, looking like a dog almost, as he skipped left and right.

Yuuto didn't care about that though, his eyes were solely on the blade.

"...That sword...where did you get that?"

Freed gave Yuuto the middle finger.

"Screw off you!"

"Tell me!"

Freed backed away, and placed a hand on his mouth, feigning worry.

"Ooh my, Onii-chan here is getting angry. Well, if you're a good boy, maybe I'll tell you about it a bit. This Excalibur-chan though, isn't it beautiful? It's my Excalibur Rapidly!" Freed thrust the blade out, which began moving as did Freed's body. "My speed, has increased. So has the speed of my blade, you know?"

Yuuto angrily watched as Freed came at him.

Despite the increase of speed, Yuuto could still follow him, so he stabbed his sword into the ground, causing swords to sprout out all around him like flowers, each one filled with a violent fire that would be capable of burning down average opponents.

"Naaah! Too easy!"

However, Freed's movements allowed him to dodge them all easily, getting towards the right hand side of Yuuto, and swung his blade for him. Yuuto twisted his blade in the ground, causing many swords to form a wall before him.

Freed's sword however, cleaved through them, but it allowed Yuuto to place distance between them, taking out his blade, and launched it towards Freed's form, the blade of Freed's swung like a pendulum, cutting the blade right in half.

"Nice try, but it wont work with me."

Freed brought out his gun that shot out light bullets, and he fired them at high rapid succession.

Yuuto closed his eyes briefly, before he began moving his blade to intercept each and everyone of them.

He remembered his training from his Master, and from Haruki at the same time.

The rapid way he moved, surprised Freed.

"Cutting through my bullets...I guess you aren't as bad as I thought you were."

Freed praised, but he didn't allow the praise to go too far.

Using his Excalibur, he crossed the distance easily, getting up and personal with Yuuto.

Yuuto brought his sword out, and tried to clash with the Excalibur, but his sword was sliced through easily as butter, and the blade continued going for Yuuto, who gritted his teeth, and sped out of the way, while also feeling the holy power inside of his body weakening him.

However, in the moment he did, Yuuto felt something behind him.

He looked back, only to see a hand coming for him so fast, the light power from a Fallen Angel shined within his gaze, he barely managed to react before he received the attack head on, blasting him into the ground.

Ripping up the ground, Yuuto's body skidded to a stop, the rain pouring down his body helped wash the blood away and onto the ground. Pooling around him, Yuuto had a few wounds that were growing in size by the moment.

Freed's eyes shot for Dohnaseek.

"Cheap trick! I was fighting him!"

"Now you're done fighting him. Leave."

"Until that damn Haruki shows up! He is my kill! So why don't you leave?"

Dohnaseek scoffed.

"You? Killing Haruki? Yeah right! You are a lowly human! I am a powerful Fallen Angel! Even a fake Fallen Angel is still better than a lowly human such as yourself!"

Freed didn't like Dohnaseek's attitude.

Especially ever since Dohnaseek had levelled up his power a little bit.

He didn't think that Dohnaseek had the power to kill Haruki either.

"But, I wanted to kill Haruki! Why don't you let me do it?!"

"Because he isn't here! Now get back to the others, right now!"

Freed stuck out his tongue, before huffing, turning away with a loud sigh.

"You're not fun, I waned to have some more fun times with this boy!"

"You picked a lousy time, they'll be back any moment now, you little idiot!"

Freed didn't like the tone that he used.

In fact, he was rather angered by it.

However, if he was going to die, then Freed would be alright with that. He was over the Fallen Angels that weren't Kokabiel anyway, he found them to be a waste of time and to get them out of the way...he'd be fine with that.

"If you want to die that bad, go right ahead. I'll go back to Kokabiel-sama."

Freed placed his hand on the ground, and summoned a magical circle.

Yuuto couldn't allow him to leave, yelling "Wait!" and began running.

He felt the holy power running through his body, and his movements dulled due to the pain that he felt inside.

So he didn't make it in time, Dohnaseek got before him, and extended his wings. From his black wings, feathers began shooting out at high speeds.

Yuuto usually would be able to dodge them, but due to the holy power in his body from the attack of Freed, he couldn't keep his movements quick enough, and his right arm ended up being sliced, his left left also received a cut, while the other feathers Yuuto managed to dodge out of the way of, something that impressed Dohnaseek.

"Even after I've levelled up, a scummy Devil can out speed my feathers?"

"...Your wings have only increased to four, you believe that you can beat the stronger people in this town?"

Dohnaseek's eyes blazed angrily.

"Are you saying some shitty Devil is going to be able to beat me?!"

"I can tell you that my Master would be able to defeat you, and Freed showed more skills."

Dohnaseek didn't like that.

His anger grew, as he summoned a large light spear. The spear grew to double the size of his body, Yuuto could see that the power wasn't a joke, but he didn't give up either, and rushed towards Dohnaseek before he could attack.

His blade came from the left to cut down Dohnaseek, but the Fallen Angel extended his wings, and allowed them to become like steel. The feathery blades sliced out, cutting apart Yuuto's sword, but Yuuto used that chance to grab another blade, launching it for Dohnaseek's face when seeing an opening.

Dohnaseek pulled his head back, just as the blade came flying by his face.

The blade missed him by mere inches, his eyes turned to Yuuto, and saw that he was coming towards him with a fiery blade. The blade of fire was ready to pierce through Dohnaseek's wings, so Dohnaseek moved his large light spear in the way, blocking the strike, sparks being created between their blades.

"Nice little tricks. But that's all they are, tricks. You can't get by me with simple tricks. If you don't even have the slightest amount of power, then you'd have nothing to fight with at all. All the skills can't be anything without the power to back them up."

Dohnaseek thrust his spear into the ground, releasing a burst of light from beneath the ground, tearing through it.

Yuuto went to react, but due to the cut he received before from Freed along with the injuries that he received from Dohnaseek's surprise attack, the arm he was being attacked by wasn't able to move quickly, so he retreated backwards.

Dohnaseek's power came close to hitting and even killing Yuuto…

When it suddenly froze before Yuuto's face.

Yuuto's eyes widened as did Dohnaseek's.

"N-No, it can't be..."

Dohnaseek panicked as he watched the rain itself beginning to freeze.

All around them, the droplets falling down like bullets froze instantly, and the world became a frozen rain filled wonderland, where no rain could even attempt to fall down due to the cold that was spreading around them.

Dohnaseek felt the cold on his skin, but Yuuto didn't feel any cold at all.

"Ara, what's going on here?"

Dohnaseek grimaced, turning towards the right and saw Haruki walking closer together with Koneko. The former looked towards Dohnaseek with annoyance, and the latter gave a concerned look for Koneko.

"Y-You..."

Dohnaseek's bravado seemingly had disappeared while Haruki glanced at Yuuto's wounds.

"I see, you don't have to explain. Dohnaseek, you have really pushed your luck this time, haven't you?"

Dohnaseek took a step back, while Haruki turned to Koneko.

Wordlessly, Koneko knew what he wanted, so she went towards Yuuto's side, and lifted him up over her shoulder.

"Senpai, I shall get him to Asia-senpai."

"Yes, please do. I'll not be long with Dohnaseek."

Koneko inclined her neck.

"Understood."

Koneko went to leave, when Yuuto spoke up.

"Haruki-kun..."

"Get healed, we can talk after this."

Yuuto bowed his head low, nodding slowly.

"...Lets go."

Koneko left the area, while Dohnaseek's eyes turned towards Haruki.

Seeing his emotionless face, Dohnaseek felt fear growing within him.

He recalled their previous 'fight' that they had, how he had lost.

"S-So, it's come down to a fight between you and myself?"

"If you had learned your lesson from the last time, then it wouldn't end like this. But you have chosen your way now, and it seems that last time didn't teach you a thing."

Dohnaseek felt palpitations erupting from his heart.

He didn't want to lose this time, so he increased his power, allowing his large spear to send off a wave of light power for Haruki.

Haruki didn't even bat an eyelid as he thrust his hand outwards, catching the power and crushed it with his bare hands.

"S-Shit!"

Dohnaseek angrily thrust his spear for Haruki.

Once more, as the spear came for him, he caught it with his bare hand, and with his incredible Rook strength, he broke through the spear, turning it into light particles that surrounded the area, Dohnaseek's eyes broadening exponentially.

His strong spear had been destroyed, and it seemed like Haruki didn't even put any effort into the attack.

"Y-You can't be serious! But I trained to kill you! I even gained another set of wings! Doesn't that mean anything at all?!"

Haruki raised an eyebrow.

"Perhaps you did train, but you only set your sights of reaching me, is that it?"

"O-Of course! The defeat you gave me was humiliating enough!"

"I guess your death will have to be just as humiliating."

Dohnaseek's rage couldn't be quelled.

Many feathers fell from his wings, and turned into sharp blades, shooting for Haruki like bullets.

Raising his hand, he gathered Holy Lightning.

Dohnaseek watched in horror as his feathers were turned to nothingness.

Haruki's Holy Lightning was so strong that Dohnaseek couldn't do anything.

Dohnaseek took a step back, seeing Haruki walking closer.

"F-Fuck off!"

"Now, now. Watch your language."

Dohnaseek's face became pale, as he summoned magical circles.

Fire, and water came shooting out for Haruki's form in a magical burst of attacks.

Snapping his fingers, Haruki summoned more magical circles, and shot them for Dohnaseek's powers.

"Aaaha!"

Dohnaseek received the burst of the attacks, they weren't enough to kill him, since Haruki made it like that.

Hitting the ground hard, Dohnaseek's fearful eyes went towards Haruki's own emotionless ones.

"I could have killed you last time, but I gave you a chance. Now...it seems you've thrown that chance away."

Dohnaseek's eyebrows furrowed furiously.

His hands quaked, and his body was shaking.

"S-Screw you! I wont die because of you!"

"That's the thing though, you're dying because you tossed away your chance at living a better life."

Dohnaseek felt his chest heaving.

He felt his blood run cold.

His life flashed before his eyes, before his anger came to the surface.

He wouldn't give in.

He wouldn't die.

He was going to show Haruki the power of a true Fallen Angel, at least as true as Dohnaseek thought one would be.

"You are a nothing! You weren't when you were a human Fallen Angel! I hate even saying that! Having a half breed as part of the Fallen Angels! Don't make me laugh! I always hated the way Azazel was with his own ways of having the humans come into the faction of Fallen Angels!"

Haruki shrugged his shoulders.

"That isn't my problem, your leader made those decisions with the best interest of the Grigori in heart."

Dohnaseek's face turned red with his anger, while summoning a sword of light.

He got to his feet, and pointed his blade for Haruki.

"Watch me as I cut you down! You wont even keep up with my top speed!"

Dohnaseek flapped his wings, taking to the air, before he shot down towards Haruki.

"Indeed, you have gotten faster...but it wont be enough."

Like the first time they had fought, this time ended with Dohnaseek being frozen.

The ice grew around him within seconds.

His sword of light froze to the point that it shattered.

His body also was frozen like a statue.

Suspended in the air, Dohnaseek couldn't look anywhere other than at Haruki, as he raised his hand.

"As a fellow Fallen Angel, I didn't want to take your life instantly. I wanted you to not end up like this. However, it seems that you've left me with no alternative now. Be gone."

Dohnaseek could only watch as Haruki shot power at him, ending his life within moments.

Watching as the frozen shards of his remains disappeared in the wind, Haruki exhaled slowly.

"You should've taken the chance for change..."

Haruki turned around and walked away from the scene, now needing to go towards Yuuto, and see what was going on with him, and if need be, have a chat with him.

Kokabiel, sat on his chair, was receiving the report about Dohnaseek's death.

He...was angered.

Both because he didn't want Dohnaseek to die in such a manner, but he had also alerted Haruki to the fact that Kokabiel could definitely be involved. He also wasn't happy with Freed either, but he chose to not comment on it right away.

"Dohnaseek bites the dust..."

Kalawarner murmured, Mittelt threw her hands behind her head.

"He was stupid, he didn't even think about it..."

"Shut up Mittelt! Why didn't you do your job you useless Fallen Angel shield?!"

"Waaaaaaaaaaaah! I'm sorry! Please don't say that!"

Mittelt cried when Kokabiel yelled at her, and hid her face.

Kokabiel laughed, he found Mittelt rather amusing when she did things like this.

Raynare looked towards Kokabiel, seeing that his eyes were red with rage.

"Kokabiel-sama, there's no way that we can continue on, can we? Besides, I doubt this is what Azazel-sama wishes for anyway, so why would this be a good way to go about gaining his favour? A Fallen Angel has died because of this..."

"And many more will die under the rule of Azazel."

Raynare scowled.

"You can't say that, Azazel-sama led us through the war, he was there for us, and supported us everyday."

"He was quick to abandon you, wasn't he?"

Twisting the truth just enough, Raynare felt a pang enter her heart, and she looked down at the ground.

"...T-That was my error, I didn't do what he wanted. B-But, I can make it up to him one day, can't I?"

Kokabiel laughed at her with a large fat smile on his face.

"If that's what you think, then I can't stop you. But, I also can't believe that you'd even think like that. Azazel isn't going to want you, but I still do. Together, we can make many Fallen Angels and grow in strength, in number! Except Mittelt. No one cares about Mittelt."

"Waaaaah! I care about myself!"

"Don't lie Mittelt, and do your job as a shield!"

Mittelt cried while Kalawarner snickered, seeing that Kokabiel was intentionally making fun of Mittelt for his own enjoyment, though she did wonder if Kokabiel actually did care about Mittelt...she wondered if he cared about any of them at all.

His eyes then shifted to Raynare.

"Face it, Azazel isn't going to care about you in the future."

"H-He could do!"

Kokabiel scoffed.

"The fact that you believe that, is more hilarious than anything I've seen on TV lately. You can't actually think that Azazel is going to care for you. He decided to trust the word of a disgusting half breed over a full pure Fallen Angel like yourself. He chose to abandon you, and it wont end well for you if you keep moving in a direction towards him. Times have changed, Azazel's lost faith in the Fallen Angels, and has turned to the humans. Think, why are so many Sacred Gear wielders in the Grigori? Why hasn't he made more Fallen Angels? I hate the Devils, but they had a mind to make Evil Pieces. For someone as smart as Azazel, why hasn't he invented the Fallen Angel equivalent?"

"...Because Azazel-sama handles things his own way. That's the only way for it to be handled, that's why he hasn't. He is smart, and wonderful. You shouldn't underestimate a man like Azazel-sama, he is a strong and capable man."

Raynare was sure on this.

Kokabiel laughed at her doubts.

"If you want to think that, I can't convince you otherwise. But what I will say is, believing in this ideal, believing that things will work for you in the end, trust me, it wont work for you. You're going to end up either imprisoned or dead if you go back to Azazel."

Raynare wasn't convinced.

But now that she had aligned herself with Kokabiel, could she even turn back?

She didn't even know if she could or not.

All she knew was that Kokabiel was a very dangerous man, and he was going to do whatever he wanted.

She contemplated going back to Azazel, and telling him…

But, she also knew that it wouldn't do her any favours.

She had gone along with Kokabiel this much already.

She had blood on her hands.

She couldn't be forgiven anyway.

So she knew that she'd have to embrace it...but the question on her mind was, if she truly could do that or not.
