AN: I'm still working on other stories, I just wanted to do something different to keep my juices flowing while I think out these other stories.

I haven't seen Venom in a while, but I remember most of it. I'm excited for the second one tbh. So, this will take place after the movie. For Twilight, mmmm….New Moon happened and Bella lived life as Edward wanted.

I am unsure how old Eddie is in Venom, and the comics nor the movies, more specifically in Spider-Man 3, give us a definite age. In the original Spider-Man, it is assumed Peter and Eddie were around the same age. Tom Hardy was around 41 when he did Venom. So, I'm going to say mid-30s for the sake of this story.

Summary: Reeling from a nasty break-up, Bella finds herself in San Francisco and crosses paths with Eddie Brock, and his alien symbiote. Venom.

HUNGRY!

Eddie rolled his eyes. "Of course you are because one head isn't good enough for you," He murmurs to himself, walking down the busting street of his city.

I NEED MORE!

"Just give me a damn minute," He sighs out. He weaves his way through the crowded street, his shoulder bumping into people as he headed for his favorite corner store. The bell above the door jingled as he walked in. "Mrs. Chen," He greeted as she glanced up at him from the register. He went about the store looking for snacks, but also hoping someone would pop in like they usually do and demand money. Venom at least would be sated.

As he went browsing the shelves, a small woman bumped into him, and she swiveled around, her eyes wide as she apologized. "Sorry!" His brows raised as she lost her footing, and he reached forward, grasping her hand, keeping her upright. "It's quite alright," He says, his eyes meeting hers. She was pretty, about 5'3 with long, dark brown hair that stopped just at her waist. She had a heart-shaped face, full pink lips, with a thin nose. She was very pale in relation to the regulars of San Francisco, with what Eddie would describe as prominent cheekbones.

SHE'S A COMPATIBLE COMPANION

"Jesus. Shut up…" Eddie murmured under his breath. The woman tilted her head at him in confusion. "I'm sorry?" She asks, her right brow raising. Eddie shook his head, giving her an awkward smile. "Nothing. Just talking to myself. Um, Eddie Brock," He realized he was still holding her hand, so he shook it, causing the woman to eye him strangely, but she introduced herself. "Bella Swan," He let go of her hand, and it was his expression or something that made her chuckle. "Well, nice to meet you Eddie. Again, sorry," She smiles at him, looking him over before turning away, and heading towards the register. Eddie shakes his head and goes back to looking at the shelves.

The bell over the door jingles as another customer walks in, and Eddie looks up to see someone that could hold some potential. He looked shady as fuck, looking around the store quickly before fiddling in his pocket as he eyed Mrs. Chen. "Thank you," Bella murmurs, turning around to head towards the door. She eyes the man warily, adverting her eyes from his intense gaze. "Well hello pretty," He mumbles to her, and Bella narrowly moves around him, giving him a nod before walking out into the night. Eddie watches as the man seems to war with himself, looking at Mrs. Chen and then him. The man makes his way outside, and Eddie sighs.

He abandons what he had in his hands before walking towards the door.

I AM HAPPY TO EAT MRS. CHEN

He pauses though and looks to Mrs. Chen. "You cannot eat Mrs. Chen," She just gives him an odd look. "I have a parasite," He says before walking out the door.

WHERE ARE WE GOING?

"Hopefully to save that woman, and curb your ferocious hunger," Venom seems to agree with that, and waits with anticipation as Eddie walks down the street. He walks to the end block, his assumption correct as he peers down an alleyway. Eddie winces as Bella punches her assailant in the face. "Damn," He murmurs surprised. The man from the store pulled his gun from his pocket, forcefully putting it to her head. "Hey!" He called out, walking into the alleyway, feeling that surge of power as Venom was practically salivating at the mouth.

Bella looks over, her eyes squinting in the dark. Her eyes widened however at the large creature that stood before them. It was an inky black with large white eyes, wide mouth with razor-sharp teeth. A long but slim tongue dripped saliva, and Bella watched in horror as it lifted the man, opened its large mouth, and literally devoured his head clean off. Bella's eyes followed the now headless body as it sank to the ground. She looked up at the creature terrified, pushing herself against the brick wall. The creature turned to her, smiling widely at her before assessing her closely. It shrunk before her eyes, the inky mass seeming to peel back and morph into Eddie. Bella looked him up and down, her breathing now shaky as she looked at him, then the dead body.

"What the fuck?" She breathes out, blinking rapidly. Eddie rubs the back of his neck, sheepishly smiling at her. "Sorry about that," Bella takes a few deep breaths. "What…what was that thing?!" She squeaks out in surprise as the creature's face seems to unmerge itself from Eddie and take form to introduce itself. Its voice was deep and almost base-like as it spoke to her. "I AM VENOM" Eddie sighs, "Can you not? I think she's freaked out enough," Bella is frozen in place as Eddie and Venom bicker back and forth. "I AM BEING POLITE" "Since when do you care about being polite? I don't think she cares. I think she's scared shitless and doesn't know if you're going to eat her or not,"

Bella licks her now dry lips. "Wait…I'm really not that tasty….I mean…I've been told I'm tasty, but….please don't eat me," She rambles out, looking more so at the face of what is called Venom. They both stop their chatter and look at her surprised. Well, Eddie at least looks surprised. "I LIKE HER" Eddie can't help but chuckle. "It's not going to eat you. I won't let it. You're safe now, um here," He bends down to grab her bags, and Bella's eyes are still on Venom…or its face. As he steps closer to give her the bag, Bella murmurs out an "Oh fuck," before her eyes roll in the back of her head. Eddie braces her head against his hand before she can fall to the wet and nasty concrete.

"CAN WE KEEP HER?"

"No. Why? I'm sure she has a home," As he says this, he reaches into her pocket, feeling a wallet. He jostles her in one arm and uses his free hand to open the wallet. "Well, what do you know? She's our new neighbor," He grabs her items and holds her up bridal style. "Welcome to San Francisco Ms. Swan," He murmurs heading back out onto the street.

Brown eyes snapped open as two familiar and yet unfamiliar voices spoke quietly in another room. She felt herself on an unfamiliar bed, her fingers wrapping around a well-worn cover, and she slowly sits up looking around the unfamiliar room. The voices once again raise in volume before lowering to harsh whispers. Bella quietly springs off the bed, her bare feet hitting the carpet without a peep, going toward the bedroom.

She held her ear to the door, listening to the muffled talking, a deeper grated voice making her shiver. She takes a deep breath, pulling the door open, stepping out to see the man from the corner store and the alley. She looks around him, for someone else, but sees no one. She stared at Eddie in suspicion, her brows furrowing. "Where am I?" She questions, keeping her distance. She remembered the previous night but was unsure if she imagined most of it.

Eddie looked her over, but kept his distance, "My apartment. You fainted in the alley, and I brought you here. Um, surprisingly, you're my neighbor, but I couldn't find your key," Bella eyes her purse on the counter, and the bag she had, untouched. She eyes Eddie with scrutiny, "Who were you talking to?" She questions, knowing the answer already. Eddie leans against the counter in the kitchen, his arms crossed over his chest. "I think you know who. Unless you forgot which may be a good thing," He murmurs with a shrug.

Bella doesn't say anything, swallowing. "Well, thank you for saving my life, but I'd rather get back to my place," She moves from the door, and hesitantly makes her way towards him to grab her bag. "Maybe have a good cry," She murmurs to herself, giving him a nod as he let her ease by. "Your shoes are by the couch there," He points, and Bella scurries over before heading towards the door. With her hand on the doorknob, she turns back around, semi-curious. "I won't tell anyone that you…what is it that you do?" She asks, tilting her head to the side.

"It's a parasite," Eddie just waves her off, and Bella bites her lip before pulling open his door. "Right…" She leaves through it, closing the door behind her, and heading across the hall. She wasn't sure who lived here before, but whoever did, was in such a hurry that they left a lot things, including a huge stereo system that she had no idea what she was going to do with. She reached deep down in her purse, grasping the key, and inserting it into the lock, juggling with the door a bit as it seemed to be stuck. She stuck her shoulder against it, hoping that she could jar it open, but she only ended up hurting herself.

"Great," She mutters. She runs a hand through her frazzled hair, turning back around with a sigh. She took in a deep breath before letting it out, taking the few strides back to Eddie's door. She knocked twice, waiting. She could hear him inside, mumbling something before his footsteps came closer to the door. He pulled his door open, his brows raised in surprised. "Back so soon?" Bella sheepishly points towards her door. "It's stuck, and I'm not strong enough to get it open," Eddie just chuckles, walking around her, and Bella followed behind. She felt like he would have…or Venom would have eaten her already if it really wanted to. She figured she was alright for the moment.

With a quick nudge to the door with his body, he got the door open, and Bella smiled in thanks. He inspected her door for a moment, looking at the water stains. "The woods been damaged is all. I would say don't close it shut too tight when you leave," Bella moved into the apartment, nodding. "Okay. Thank you," Eddie couldn't help but to look around briefly, lowly whistling at everything. "Is this all yours?" Bella rolls her eyes in annoyance. "No. You can thank whatever asshole was here before. He left almost all of his shit. I'll have to clean it out. It's going to take forever," She looked around the cramped space with a frown.

YOU SHOULD HELP

Eddie rolled his eyes, sighing. "Right. Hey, how about I help you clear it out? You can't get all this down four flights of stairs by yourself," Bella looks at him in surprise. "You want to help me?" She clarifies, tilting her head at him. Eddie shrugs, "Wouldn't have offered if I didn't," Bella hums, chewing on her lip. "Okay, can we start now?" Eddie smirks. "Got nothing better to do," With that, Bella let him in even further, showing him where she pushed all of the previous tenants' things, some in boxes, and some just strewn in a little corner. As he grabbed a box, and placed it outside, she pulled out a large trash bag, and started throwing anything and everything in the trash. "Do you know who used to live here?" She questions, managing to fill up the trash bag in a matter of minutes.

She came to a stand, hoisting it over her shoulder. Eddie nods, "Some jackass. Blasted loud music almost every night," He takes the bag, and sits it outside as well. They go box by box, Bella pushing boxes in his direction so that he could put them outside the door. As he worked in the area of the 'living room', she went through the kitchen, tossing food from the fridge and containers from the cabinets, having bought all of those things for herself. "Woah," Eddie mutters in surprise, eyeing one of Bella's boxes, the slip of a wedding dress staring at him. "You're married?" He calls out, turning to look at her over his shoulder. Bella raises her brow, confusion on her face. "What?" She asks, watching as he reached into her box, pulling out a long, white, flower laced wedding dress. Bella blushes, pursing her lips in slight embarrassment. "Oh that. No, I was supposed to be," She responds sadly.

Eddie tries his best to neatly put it away, "Guy couldn't handle it?" He asks, going back to pulling out more trash or items that lay around. Bella snorts. "Something like that. I moved here, quit my job for him, and come to find out he was cheating on me with some waitress," She mutters in disgust. Eddie didn't say anything in response but continued to help until a much-needed break was required. Bella had finished tossing out everything in the kitchen, and she realized they had been at it for hours and seemed to have half of everything out, taking it down was the next step. Bella eyed the large pile that had taken space by her door, groaning softly. It takes them a good 30 minutes to get what they had for trash downstairs, and as the hoisted the last few items in the trash, Bella's stomach rumbled. She looks up at Eddie, not realizing it until just not at how tall he was. He was well over six feet, standing at about 6'3, give or take, and she just shook her head. "Can you….eat normal food, or is a head a requirement?" She jokes, only partially.

Eddie has a good laugh, staring down at her in a peculiar way. "I can eat food, a lot of it, but he'll be alright," Bella nods as they walk out of the alleyway, and down the street. "Okay, um, I have some cash in my back pocket. What do you recommend?" Eddie takes her by a hot dog stand where she orders 5 in total, 4 of them going to Eddie. They walked to the park across the street and sat on the bench, quietly eating as they stared at the semi-empty park.

As Bella was finishing up her hot dog, she looks to Eddie, curiosity running through her. "So, this parasite as you call it," She pauses as he chuckles, and she raises a brow. "What's funny?" She questions, waiting as he took his last bite, balling up his trash. "He's wondering if I'm being insulting or using the word as a term of endearment," Bella tilts her head. "Well? Are you?" She wonders, a small chuckle escaping her as he replied with, "A little bit of both,"

"Well, how did you get it?" She listens intently as he tells her about how he was digging up dirt on this company, which costed him his career and fiancé, and how he became infected one night sneaking in after hours. He learned that the company had picked up these alien species to study and do tests with on humans for trials. He inadvertently ended up getting connected to Venom, and after deciding, not much on his part, to embrace Venom, they became one in the same. Bella blinked at him a few times, the words what the fuck running through her head every few minutes. "Okay, I understand that. Do you and Venom go around saving people? Like a superhero?"

Eddie snorts, shaking his head. "More like an anti-hero type deal. I give him human brains as long as we don't hurt innocents, like you for example," Bella nods as it all comes together. "Okay, I understand. You're okay with Venom? I don't see how a person would willingly let an alien symbiote live inside of them, but hey, to each his own," Eddie shrugs, leaning back and placing his arm behind her on the bench. "We co-exist," After a while, they walk back to their apartments where they agreed to meet tomorrow to finish up the last bulk of things.

The next morning, Bella was greeted with a cup of coffee, and an eager Eddie ready to help. It didn't take them long to finish getting rid of all the bulks of trash, and instead of trying to haul the large speakers out and down the stairs, Eddie just chucked them out the window much to Bella's dismay. This time, she talked about herself, deciding to leave most of her dating history in the dark. Just because he had an alien attached with him to the hip, didn't mean he wouldn't think she was crazy if she confessed that vampires existed. They both seemed to have fairly simple lives in a sense if you didn't count Venom.

Like the day before, once the trash was all taken care of, they went out for lunch, this time which Eddie bought, a little fast-food place around the corner, and they walked back, trying to eat at the same time. Bella had told him that she didn't really need his help anymore as all there was left to do was clean and unpack, but he insisted. He helped her get everything wiped down, as she slowly started to unpack things, putting them away where she wanted them. The second time Venom showed itself in her presence, it didn't really scare her like it did the first time, even though she found it odd. She kept her distance at first, realizing that after a while that it wasn't going to hurt her or jump out of Eddie's body, which it couldn't do without a host.

Eddie had kind of broken it down to her that not all symbiotes attached well with anybody, and Venom seemed to attach very nicely to Eddie, and even Anne at one point. When Venom had appeared in that weird, attached state, Bella cautiously walked around Eddie, her eyes as wide as saucers, but she just examined him, finding it somewhat cool and terrifying at the same time. The evening rolled around quickly, and they chipped in to order Chinese for the night, both of them splitting certain portions before they separated. Bella spent the next few days, turning her tiny apartment into a home. She went grocery shopping, slowly stocking her fridge with everything she liked to eat, and even putting things like tater tots into the freezer, noticing it was something that Eddie seemed to like.

As her first few weeks went by in a blur, Eddie would pop in from time to time, usually sitting on her couch to watch tv, or chat. She found his presence to be somewhat soothing and exasperating. He was like a quiet kind of crazy, sometimes in a frenzy, and sometimes as calm as a river. It was nice most times. Sometimes Eddie would come over after a night of being in the city, and crash on the couch, sated when she'd hand him a plate full of tater-tots, sometimes frozen which she didn't even question. They were becoming fast friends, and it was something she needed. It kept her mind off of pressing matters. Her ex-fiancé had tried calling many times to explain and win her back after his affair had not gone the way he planned. Eddie was sitting over one day, slightly amused as she paced, listening to her ex's droning.

CAN I EAT HIM?

The question made Eddie burst into laughter, and Bella shot him a look of hell as her ex started questioning her on who she was with and how she could move on so fast. She almost tore into him when she got off the phone, but he explained the reason for his small outburst, and Bella could only chuckle. "Sorry V, but that's a hard no," She had taken to calling Venom 'V' which the alien apparently didn't mind, and she even witnessed it go head-to-head in a sense when Eddie tried to do the same. It was apparent that her nickname was hers only to use, and not even the host had free reign.

A few days later of a similar routine, Bella finally met Anne. She thought it would be awkward, but Bella really liked the woman, and they seemed to have few things in common. They hit it off fairly well, and after a while, Anne was another face stopping by in her apartment, bringing her little gifts to add to her apartment. She and Anne would just talk, and Bella found it nice to have some girl time. Bella had expressed her need to find a job, and Anne was able to hook her up with an interview at a local law branch in the area where she could start out as a secretary. Bella eagerly accepted the opportunity and was looking forward to it.

Bella ran a hand through her hair one more time before opening her door, smiling as she saw Eddie stepping out of his apartment. He gave a low whistle, causing her to shake her head as she locked up. She had on a simple pencil skirt and black blouse, low black heels on. "You clean up nice," He commented, walking with her towards the stairs. "Thank you, and you…" She looked him over, seeing as he was dressed a little differently than his shirt and jeans. He was dressed in a nice blue button down and slacks, dress shoes on his feet. "Look great. Hot date?" She wonders, gratefully taking his hand as they walked down the stairs. Eddie just shrugged. "Don't know yet. You ready?" He asks instead, easily deflecting the question, and Bella let it pass, nodding as they walked out of the building.

A taxicab was waiting for her downstairs, and Eddie moved to open the door for her. As she gets in, he leans down, narrowing his eyes slightly. "Good luck," Bella smiles in appreciation, leaning forward and placing a kiss on his cheek, his stubble tickling her chin. "See you later," She replies, and the taxi pulls away from the curb once the door is shut. While Bella was extremely nervous, she managed to keep it off her face during the interview. It went without a hitch, and they enjoyed her energy so much that they wanted her to start the following week. Bella gratefully accepted. When she left from what was to be her new job, she was met with a pleasant surprise. Eddie was waiting for her, a little arrangement of flowers in his hand. She chuckled softly as he greeted her, taking the flowers with a smile. "What are you doing here?" She asks, bringing them to her nose.

Eddie walks alongside her, turning to look down at her briefly. "Wanted to surprise you. So, how did it go? Those can go either way. Better luck next time or congratulations?" He asks playfully, and Bella softly laughs. "I start Monday, so congratulations it is. Thank you," Eddie fiddles with a button on his shirt before gathering himself. "Do you want to grab dinner?" He asks, and Bella turns to look at him, her eyes roaming his face and attire. Recognition flashed in her eyes, and she tilted her head at him. "Like…dinner dinner?" She asked, emphasizing the word to make sure she was reading him right before making an assumption.

Eddie flashes her a nervous smile, and Bella narrows her eyes. That was answer enough. They had some chemistry, there was no doubt about it, something that Anne had picked up on after being around the pair a few times, and Dan even having picked up on it. They were always spending time together and were eerily aware of the other without having to look at one another. Anne had been pressing Eddie for weeks to just ask Bella out, and he thought today was better than ever. He wasn't sure when she started to become more than a friend, and maybe some of it was Venom's influence as he seemed to have a soft spot for Bella.

She was different, and seemed to accept him, Venom and all for who he was. "I'd love to," She responded with a smile. Eddie took her to one of the high scale restaurants in the city, and even though it was somewhat awkward in the beginning, they fell into their usual comfortability, talking and joking. Eddie was handsome when he cleaned up nice, and there was a side to him that Bella was just seeing for the first time. He was a softy, and a sweetheart mixed with his usual cockiness, but Bella found it charming.

He was himself, and that's what she liked the most.

They ate, talked, had dessert, and even made plans that they'd see where this relationship went. It was hitting close to evening when the two emerged, Bella's hand comfortably resting in his. "Do you want to try something?" Eddie suddenly asks, a mischievous grin on his face, causing Bella to narrow her eyes at him. "That look means trouble. It depends," She responds playfully, brows furrowing as he led her down a secluded corner. She trusted Eddie and knew he wouldn't put her in danger. She eyes him, waiting for him to tell her what he planned.

"Do you trust me?" He asks, his eyes staring into hers, needing to know that she wasn't afraid of him. "Of course. What's going on?" She wonders, tilting her head at him. He raises a hand, smirking down at her. "Good. Do you trust Venom?" Bella's brows furrowed as she tried to formulate her answer. "I mean….it goes by you, so I don't see why I shouldn't. Why?" Eddie just grins at her before Venom emerges. Venom was about a whole foot taller than Eddie, towering over her a good two, almost three feet. She gasps softly, this time a bit more comfortable with his full form. A squeak leaves her mouth as Venom grabs her with precision and a gentleness she didn't expect, it's grip firm. "DON'T LET GO" With that, Venom had sprang into the air, and Bella held unto its arm for dear life.

Her eyes were wide, hair flying around her as Venom bounded buildings, going higher as they got deeper in the city. She had managed to take a look down below at the city before her, and it was coming to life before her in a way that she has never seen. It was beautiful and exhilarating. Venom takes a particular long leap that has her gasping for breath and cursing the stars as they moved so fast it gave her whiplash. It was like riding a rollercoaster, when that big gut dropping dip would hit, and your body felt like it was on cloud 9. She soon has to look away as Venom went higher up than she expected, turning her head to marvel at its physique. It was literal muscle with an agileness of a spider almost. She believed that Venom was a particularly smart alien life form because of its seemingly power of control, but maybe that was Eddie's doing. She wasn't sure.

Venom suddenly flips her in its hold, hoisting her over the shoulder, rumbling to her to hold on tight as it jumped in the air, landing on the side of a glass building. The consistency of it wasn't what she expected it to be. It seemed firm, yet molded under her touch constantly. Then, at a time, it seemed to change under her fingers, almost feeling like a rubber suit. She peeked over it's shoulder, staring at the reflection in the glass as Venom climbed up. It was literally a monster, something that should only exist in comic books and movies, and yet, it didn't act like one. At least not to her. She stared at it for a long moment as it climbed up, her gasping had finally died down, but her heart felt like it was in one of those orange juice squeezers. Bella took a chance by glancing down, a quiet gasp leaving her mouth at just how high they were. She held on tighter, and Venom paused, somehow managing to stay attached to the glass and with one clawed-like hand, pushed her body up a bit, and there was just a bit of leverage that her legs could wrap around its body for security. It resumed its climbing once she was secure, and they made it to the very top of a narrow roofing that slanted downward.

An antenna was attached to the top, a blinking red light at the end, illuminating her face. Venom grabbed onto the metal railings, and Bella slid down carefully, holding onto Venom so she wouldn't fall. "Wow," She breathes out in awe, looking down below.

As Bella started to get into a routine over the next few weeks of work and figuring out her relationship with Eddie, life seemed to be fairly simple. Anne was happy for them, a friend that had been made for Bella's sake, and it was never awkward or weird, and Bella didn't have the worry that Anne would be jealous or anything of the sort. Despite them living 6 feet apart, Eddie was usually in her place more than not. He walked her downstairs every morning to get her in a cab for work, and would stay in her place until he'd go down to meet her when the day was over. Bella appreciated the gesture, and they often walked home or Venom would jump over many buildings at a time, or use this web-like consistency to spring from building to building. It was still the most exhilarating thing she's ever experienced.

She realized that Venom could hold a full conversation which she found interesting, asking it little questions here and there about where it came from. For Venom, Eddie being its host was like a forever thing that at first was weird to her, but Venom explained that it had bonded with a few others before Eddie wandered into the lab, but Eddie was the one. He understood it like no other. Bella had wondered how Venom felt about sharing Eddie with her, considering it was an alien species and needed Eddie to survive. She had asked Eddie about it who responded that Venom didn't mind. Not understanding it full enough, Bella asked Venom herself on one of the nights it would take them high in the sky perched on top like a king. Venom had simply responded with, "Eddie is mine, but he is also yours. Two in the same," She had just hummed in response, and looked down at the city she was slowly calling home.

Venom had taken to picking smaller buildings after a while that still stood high in the sky after Bella's minor…or major slip depending on how you look at it. Venom had immersed itself back inside of Eddie, letting him take over, and the two sat side by side, perched, and talking softly. Eddie had shifted for a brief second, and Bella's shoe lost some of the traction, and she started to slide down the building quicker than Eddie could have reacted. She was nearing upon the edge, mere seconds from falling off before a black, stringy material had caught the back of her blouse, easily pulling her back up. They had strayed from building perching for a few nights. Work was going well for Bella, and even Eddie had found another job that was similar to his previous one. Eddie kind of worked his own hours, so his schedule was very flexible. He and Bella were only getting closer as the weeks turned into months. Bella could honestly say that she was somewhat smitten with Eddie, and that included some part of Venom. It just came with the territory. She didn't have feelings for it, but she accepted it, as it did her, knowing that neither would ever hurt Eddie.

Eddie had explained to her that all of the physical contact he and her had specifically was of his own doing, and that Venom didn't have the need to feel sexual gratification or anything like that. It didn't see that in a human sense. Venom simply was, but that didn't mean Venom had no feelings at all. It cared about things to an extent, learning more and more the longer it was bonded with Eddie and seeing things through his eyes. It even cared about Bella in a way. It eased her hesitance in getting physical with Eddie, knowing that what she felt and what Eddie felt was Eddie himself and she didn't have to worry about Venom feeling a certain type of way. So, small chaste kisses eventually turned into slow make-out sessions. It left them both satisfied and wanting more as time went on. While they both were fighting the urge to take things further, Eddie had one day decided to surprise her at work with lunch, knowing the food there was shitty.

He walked into the office with a bag of food, looking at the receptionist in greeting and after telling her that he was there to see Bella, he was pointed in the right direction. He saw that her office door was open, and he poked his head around the door frame, a brow raising at Bella who was looking quite uncomfortable as her boss was leaned over behind her, very close, too close for his liking, explaining something to her. He cleared his throat, and smirked at her as she snapped her head up. Her eyes lit up, and she shifted in her seat, causing her boss to look up from his staring at the computer to see Eddie. He stepped away, and Bella practically raced around her desk to greet him. She bought him down to meet her halfway as she stood on the tips of her toes, kissing him softly. When he pulls away, he smiles down at her, his eyes traveling to her boss briefly. He sent the man a wink, and Bella lightly hit his chest. "Going to lunch Mr. Hanes!" She calls out, pulling Eddie along to the break room.

"Something I should be worried about?" He jokes, and Bella rolls her eyes as they are the only ones there, pulling him to sit alongside her. "He's just…ugh. Nothing to worry about too much. Unless you're jealous," She teases, and he just slides the food over, his arm going around her shoulders as she pulled out the greasy goodness that was McDonald's. Eddie just chuckles. "Not in the least. No way you'd go for him. He's not your type," Bella laughs quietly behind her meal. "And what is my type?" She retorts. Eddie almost looks offended as he points to himself. "Me of course," Bella snorts, enjoying his company, even for a little while.

He walked her back to her office once her lunch was over, formally introducing himself to her boss on the way out, gripping his hand with a bit more force than necessary. He really wasn't the jealous type, but he also wanted to make it clear that his girl was off limits. As the next few days went on, Bella had started to notice a lot of weird things going on around the office, specifically with her boss who had been on her case a lot more than usual, always asking to fix something the didn't need to be fixed or giving her an extra workload that started to tie well into after hours. It was becoming aggravating and annoying, but she stuck with it, ranting late in the night with a glass of wine as she and Eddie would snuggle up on the couch together. Eddie wanted to scare him shitless, but Bella said she'd deal with it. Eddie had started riding with her to work and personally dropping her off, and picked her up in the middle of the night.

As annoying as it was, he knew she rather liked her job, and they continued to work it out the best they could, their relationship only growing with the added pressure.

One night though, everything seemed to change.

Eddie and Bella had finally decided to take that step in their relationship. Bella had only ever been with one person before, but the experience with Eddie felt so much more special. It was the weekend, and today made their six month of dating. Their usual make-out session had led to her bedroom, their touches more firm and greedy. It was a buildup that had finally needed to be released, and neither one was willing to let the moment pass. Bella's throaty moan in his ear made Eddie groan in delight, their lust-filled passion taking over. The moment was slow, and passionate with a hint of urgency. Eddie was filled with mind-numbing pleasure as Bella rode him to oblivion, their sweaty bodies moving together in a song and dance. Eddie was gripping her hips firmly, moving her against him at a pace that seemed to satisfy them both. Her soft moans were filling the room, making the experience that much more enjoyable, her luscious brown hair bouncing with the movement of her body, and Eddie almost saw stars as Bella swiveled her hips in a circular motion, her moans intensifying into cries as she did.

Eddie increased the snapping of his hips upward, meeting her half way with each thrust that sent her head flying back, his name falling from her lips like a prayer. She fluttered around him, her body jerking with each passing second, a satisfied sigh leaving her lips as Eddie followed behind seconds later. She collapsed on his chest, her breathing heavy, her lips brushing against his chest in a soft kiss.

Satisfied and close to succumbing to sleep, he wrapped his arms around her back, the scent of her filling his nose and lungs. As he started to drift, Venom spoke in a much softer tone that was loud, yet not loud and boisterous to the point where it would disturb him. Just make him aware.

We…are Venom…

Eddie just hummed in response to that, wondering why it felt the need to state this.

And she…is ours

Eddie snapped his eyes open, looking up at the ceiling.

What?!

Eddie didn't tell Bella what Venom had stated the night before, not sure what to make of it. He accompanied Bella to work Monday like he usually did. Bella had noticed him acting a bit strange, and questioned him on it. "Are you alright? You've been acting weird all morning," He lays a kiss to her temple, wincing at Venom's demand.

TELL HER!

Bella narrows her eyes at him. "What did V say?" She asks, watching him closely. Eddie shakes his head. "I'll tell you about it tonight," Bella purses her lips, giving him her signature look for him to just spit it out. If he didn't tell her now, she'd be worrying about it all day at work. Eddie sighed, caving in. "After last night, Venom said something to me that kind of freaked me out. I don't know what to think of it," Bella waits as he thinks it over in his head. "What did V say?" She urges, seeing as they were almost at work. "It said that you were ours. So to make this clearer because I see the confusion all over your face, this is what was said…" Before he can repeat what was said, Venom shows itself, and Bella looks to the cab driver in alarm who wasn't paying them attention to them. "V!" She hisses. Used to him in this form by now, she eyes Venom as it addresses her. "You…are ours" Bella raises her brows in surprise before a smile overtakes her features. "Two of the same," She responds. Venom disappears, and Eddie looks at her confused. Bella just winks at him, both of them turning their heads as the cab sways. The cab driver was looking at them with wide eyes.

The cab soon pulls to a stop in front of her building, and Eddie kisses her goodbye. "Will you pick me up this evening?" She murmurs. Eddie shook his head. "Not tonight, but you should get home before me. I've got some good stuff going with this new story, but I'll be home tonight," Bella nods, smoothing a wrinkle on his shirt. "You know, that's the second time you've called my apartment home…when you literally are three steps away," Eddie captures her lips one more time with a shrug. "Hmmm. I practically live there at this point. Alright, go on. Let me know if you'll be staying any later than usual," She kisses his cheek once more before she got out of the cab, and hurried inside.

For Bella, the day went by as usual, but her boss was acting extra weird, to everyone for that matter. He'd fired two people on the spot because they made an honest mistake, and he just didn't seem like himself. She thought he was going crazy if she could be honest. She had heard from someone else that he and his wife were having marital problems, and that might have been the reason for his grumpy mood and creepy leering stares that he gave all the women. He did however have something good to say to Bella. He wanted to promote her and have her work as his legal assistant, but only if she were willing to extend her hours. She'd be handling cases rather than taking calls, mail, etc. Bella had to think about it, but he was alright to wait for an answer the following day. The day droned on, and she had texted Eddie during her lunch about the news, and he was supportive. 5 o'clock was rolling around, and the city was being blanketed by a thick sheet of rain and booming thunder.

She was starting to pack up her things when her boss had requested she come to his office. The place was empty now, surprisingly for a Monday. Her boss stayed on a higher floor, at least 30 stories high along with other lawyers. She took the elevator to the 36th floor, texting Eddie on the way up that she'd be a second, and she'd see him at home. Once on the correct floor, she finds his office at the end of a hall, and knocks on the door. "Mr. Hanes?" She asks, pushing the door open. Mr. Hanes wasn't an ugly man by any means, and was very handsome to say the least, but he was just very weird and moody. He stood at about 6'0, had dark short brown hair, and a mustache that covered his top lip. His eyes were a dark brown and his complexion was a pasty white that almost put her to shame.

His office was huge, and he sat behind a big desk, the city reflecting back at her as the light started to fade from the sky, the rain pelting against the windows. He smiles at her and waves her in. "Come in!" Bella walks in, and he indicates for her to close the door. Bella does so, but keeps it cracked. She suddenly pauses as there are an array of men in the room. She stays put, not feeling very comfortable. Mr. Hanes, seeing her face, assures her that they weren't there for her. She's suddenly urged into a seat across from him, a large hand on her shoulder to keep her still. She swallows as Mr. Hanes eyes her, a gleam in his eyes. "Do you happen to know who Carlton Drake was? The Life Foundation?" Of course she knew as Eddie had told her the story. "I'm sorry?" She plays it off however. A gun cocks to her right and Mr. Hanes raises a brow.

"Okay, so, maybe I know a little bit about it. Why?"

Eddie tiredly scrubs a hand down his face, bending down and reaching under the mat to retrieve Bella's spare key. It was close to 10 at night, and he just wanted to lay down and go to sleep. He unlocked the door, pausing at how pitch dark it was. He flipped on the light switch, a frown on his face as it looked like Bella's wasn't home yet. She never stayed so late. "Babe?" He calls out, and gets no response. He pulls out his phone seeing that he missed Bella's text from earlier. He decided to call her and see where she was, but it immediately went to voicemail.

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?

"Don't know yet," Eddie responds, before calling Anne. She answered on the 3rd ring, sounding tired. Apologizing for waking her, he questioned if Bella had stopped by. Anne responded with a no, but opted to call. Eddie said a quick goodnight, before heading back out.

Bella brushes off Mr. Hanes, or Hank as he's requested to be called, hand. "Please don't touch me. You're a married man, and I'm in a very committed relationship. I only haven't said anything to keep my job, but now you're pushing it," She snaps in annoyance, slamming her mouth shut as a gun was placed on the desk in front of her. Hank sat down across from her again, grabbing it. "My apologies. Going through some marital problems. So…your boyfriend, Eddie Brock, carries the last symbiotic organism left from Drake's studies…and I want it," Bella narrows her eyes in confusion. "You want it? Do you think it's going to let you have it? It won't separate from Eddie," She explains, leaning back in the seat. Hank smirks. "Interesting. What's it like?" He asks, leaning forward. The lightning flashes, illuminating her face, and her eyes catch something in the distance outside.

The lightning flashes again, and a large, black mass was seen in the distance, and she hid the smile off her face. She looks back at Hank who seemed unaware of her minor shift of attention. "Dangerous," She replies. Hank's eyes widen in delight. "Very intelligent," She's now sure that Venom was bounding across the building adjacent the one she was in and it was only a matter of time before it came crashing through. "Does it have a name?" Hank wonders. Bella nods. "It does," She leans forward, scooting her butt to the edge of the seat. Hank leans forward as well. "Venom," It was a whisper, eerily said, and as the word left her mouth, she dropped to the floor as Venom crashed through the window. Venom was swift and yet took pleasure in killing, and Bella used the distraction to hide herself under the desk, dodging the bullets that rained out.

Hank had done the same, and they both eyed one another. He started to pull on her foot to drag her out, but she kicked him in the arm, his body pushing against the large wooden chair, causing it to roll back and into the part of the window that was still intact. It shattered the window, and he started to fall backwards with it. He managed to propel himself forward, grabbing onto Bella's ankle to hold himself up, and Bella desperately tried to reach for anything to hold onto. "Venom!" She screeches out as with Hank's weight they were both being dragged down and out of the building. Tossing away the last human, Venom lunges over the desk, and out of the building, propelling off, extending a hand out, and swiping Bella mid-air. Hank had lost his grip and plummeted down to his death, and Bella held on tightly as they went crashing into a nearby, smaller building.

Being in Venom's hold, she was spared any physical damage as they rolled about through glass and thick walls. Venom had managed to come to a stand, and placed Bella on her feet. "STAY HERE" It commanded, and Bella wondered why, and then she heard various guards coming up. Venom disappeared around the corner and Bella winced as she could hear yelling and shooting. After a few moments, all was quiet, and Bella was this close to going around the corner herself, but before she could, Eddie was already walking around the corner, and she faintly saw the black fade from his body. She moves towards him, and once they're within reach, Eddie pulls her to him, slightly lifting her off the ground, kissing her so deeply it took her breath away. Bella wraps her arms around his neck, grinning up at him. "I suppose having a boyfriend that's a host for an alien species can come in handy," Eddie just snorts.

"More than handy," He replies. Bella hums as he sets her down. She grasps his hand as he leads her back the way he came. Bella looks down at the unconscious guards. "It didn't eat anybody," She notes, grinning up at him. Eddie just shakes his head.

AN: So here you go! If you're here from City of Demons then you know that I planned on doing this. If not, welcome, and I hoped you enjoyed it. I tried to keep Venom gender neutral as I know that in the movies and comics that Venom doesn't go by male or female, just by its host. I mostly went by the movie, and I looked up a few things here and there about Venom to get a better understanding. I don't know if I wrote Eddie properly based on the movie but I tried. See ya!

Please excuse any mistakes.

On to write…something.
