As he laid in his king-sized bed, lazily staring at the ceiling. Karma recalled the events that took place 3 days ago and grinned as an idea suddenly popped up in his mind. He got up from his position and made his way to the bathroom, sporting a smirk on his face.
3 days ago, Karma had gone out to find entertainment. The house providing none of that.
He walked by a restaurant and somehow spotted a former classmate eating inside the place with no company. Finding the situation amusing, he fished out his phone and captured the moment. Momentarily laughing at the image on his phone screen.
Having no idea of what to do to pass the time, he opted to bother- accompany- someone. Besides, it's been a while since they saw each other after graduation.
With a devilish grin, he entered the restaurant.
The lad didn't bother ordering anything, knowing that it'll only be a waste. He headed straight to her table and sat on the chair across her. His smile widened at the surprised look he got from her.
"What a lovely afternoon, isn't it?" he uttered.
The girl didn't bother sparing him a glance, fully concentrated on eating her meal. Her action only amused the redhead further.
"You have not changed at all, well except for the hair. Any reason why they're untied unlike usual?"
She provided no answer. It was expected.
"So mean, Hayami-san! Why are you ignoring me, don't you miss me?" he voiced, bringing out his childish behavior, only to be ignored once again.
It was only when she finished her meal, did she speak.
"Why are you here, Akabane?" she questioned, giving him a stern look.
"Do I need to have a reason for seeing a former classmate?" Karma smiled sweetly.
"If it's you, there has to be." The girl replied coolly.
"Fine~ I just happened to pass by and saw you, and thought that it'd be great to spend some time with an old friend!" he exclaimed.
"I have to refuse. I am busy today."
"How about tomorrow then?"
"….I'm also not available tomorrow."
Karma wondered what exactly did he do in the past that's making her want to avoid spending a day with him at all cost. Her answers were all lies and excuses.
Karma remembered pranking her twice and teasing her a few times but that's about it. He wasn't particularly close to the girl before so he didn't bother her that much.
But just the thought of her, desperate to avoid him actually stung. He will never tell her that of course.
Shrugging off those thoughts, Karma turned to her with a pout.
"So mean, Hayami-san. Do you really dislike me this much?" he watched her stand up from her seat and followed suit.
The girl answered him with yet another lie as they both exited the restaurant. She nodded at him before turning to leave. He followed.
"Akabane. I have things I need to take care of today, please don't follow me around."
He ignored her words.
"You've became more serious, I see." He commented as he tilted his head to the side, his bangs following his movement.
"Come on, Hayami-san. I barely spent time with you before, atleast give me a few hours. I really have nothing to do you know!"
"….."
"And having nothing to do is boring! Boring meaning no entertainment, meaning no fun! No fun!" he asserted.
Karma stared at the girl as she made a decision in mind.
She then halted, so he did.
The 'Tsundere sniper' lifted a finger. Karma immediately understood what she was implying and nodded his head.
She's giving him an hour.
Without wasting a second, Karma grabbed her wrist and took off. His sudden action caused the girl behind him to stumble a bit, he quickly mumbled an apology. Hayami still managed to keep up with his speed, this fact not going unnoticed by the boy.
On their run, Karma could feel her eyes glaring at him. He chuckled at her antics.
~~
Karma led her to an arcade. When asked why, he simply told her he had a reason.
When the two entered, many eyes fell on them.
Karma examined the room for a second before making his way to the counter to get tokens. He can tell a few still had eyes on them, specifically, Hayami Rinka. One of the few females in the room.
He could care less about them, but if they keep up with their lecherous actions and make the girl uncomfortable, Karma couldn't be happier to teach them a few lessons. But it's not like she can't handle herself, she's a formerly trained assassin after all. One of the best in their class, Karma considered.
After receiving the tokens, he led the female to a shooting machine. A smirk was plastered on his face upon seeing understanding cross her features.
"It's a challenge. If I gain a higher score, you do anything I say and vice-versa."
They both took position.
The redhead grinned at the scores displayed. It's no surprise that the girl won. Though Karma thought that the sniper became sloppy after graduation, that's why he led her to this place.
"I'll be taking my leave. And you will not be following me." She said.
"I knew you would say that." he responded and followed her outside.
"I thought we made a deal."
"I know, I know. Just let me accompany you for a little while. I'll leave you afterwards."
And so Karma stayed by her side until she got on a bus. He walked home afterwards; a grin sported on his face as he eyed the group of boys from the arcade who had been following them.

'If I remember correctly, she didn't mention anything about leaving her alone for the rest of the days.' The lad thought as he tied his shoes.
"I'm on my way, Hayami-san!~" he cheerfully exclaimed.
The phone in his hand turned on, a picture of an eating girl displayed on the screen.
