Do to a request here is a Alice and Peter one shot. It isn't exactly a romantic one shot but I hope you enjoy it either way. I am not all that good at rhyming so I might be a little OOC with Peter
Couple requested by Person P
"Julius, I have some coffee for-" Alice Liddell, the foreigner of Wonderland, announced as she stepped into Julius's room, only to see him sleeping at his desk. Some fixed clocks laid to his right while a bunch of still broken clocks waited to be fixed to his left.
Walking over to the table a few feet away from the clockmaker's desk, Alice put the cup of coffee down. It wasn't that often that she walked in on the man sleeping. In fact, Julius was so damned stubborn about taking breaks that not only would he go time periods without sleep but without eating as well. So, even though he'd likely complain about how backed up his work got, Alice decided to just let him sleep.
'Maybe I should pay Boris and Gowland a visit. It has been a while since I've seen them.' She thought to herself and glanced out the window. It was currently sunny outside but, with the random time changes, who knew how long that would last.
So, with her mind made up, Alice turned around and left the clock tower; shutting the door behind her quietly. Once outside the girl smiled to herself and made her way to the forest, where the path to the amusement park would be. The sun was so warm on her skin and Alice could hear all the faceless citizens enjoying the time period; which had actually been going on for a while now. It was about one of the foreigner's favorite time changes as it allowed to her spend more time with her friends.
Although, with the way time worked in Wonderland no one, not even the role holders, knew when the next time change would come or what it would be. So Alice hoped she could get to the amusement park before night decided to come. Unfortunately for her a certain white rabbit eared man decided to make a sudden appearance once she entered the forest and followed her.
"Peter, go back to the castle! I'm going to the amusement park to visit Boris and Gowland." Alice demanded as she picked up her pace, doing her best to ignore the young rabbit eared man. Peter White, the prime minister of Heart Castle, franticly followed after Alice, a look of distress on his face.
"But my love, I must protest, that place is riddled with all kinds of germs. Besides why not spend time with me instead of those filthy pests?" He asked and he continued to follow her, much to the girl's annoyance. Feeling the nerve in the side of her head throb, Alice's left hand tightened into a fist and she turned her head around to shoot him an annoyed glare.
"Boris and Gowland aren't pests, Peter! They're my friends and why would I want to spend time with you?! I don't even like you!" Alice snapped without much thinking. Turning her head back in front of her the girl missed the heart broken look that came onto the rabbit's face.
Yes, as much he wished it wasn't true or how in denial he could be, Peter knew that Alice didn't like him. He wished that she'd love him just as much he loved her; the way he always loved her. He wished things could be like they were before she lost her memory of him; before she came to Wonderland. Although he knew it was in the best interest of Alice's happiness that she never remember him. Honestly while he claimed he'd be happy as long as Alice was happy he still longed for her undying love.
"Alice, please forgive me."
Alice froze in mid step, her whole body becoming tense. She'd know that high pitched voice from anywhere. Turning around she saw that Peter had transformed into his rabbit form and was looking up at him with the saddest eyes he could muster. Tha- that wasn't fair! Peter knew Alice liked cute things and as such had a weakness for his rabbit form. She could never stay mad at him when he was in that form; no matter how hard she tried. He was just too adorable.
"Peter." Alice mumbled warningly and turned around fully so she could properly face him. The little rabbit only continued to look up at her with his sad expression, holding his paws.
"I'm sorry if I have offended you, my dear princess. Even if you do not find it around me it's only your happiness that I wish." He tells her sincerely, with that high pitched voice of his. Frowning Alice shifted in her spot as she struggled with herself to not grab Peter in a hug then and there.
'The rabbit is Peter, no matter what form he's in it's still Peter. He's the one that took you from your world and brought you to this world. Don't fall for his cuteness.' She thought to herself as she continued to stare down at the adorable creature below her. His fur looked so soft, so very soft.
"Alice, I- Alice?"
Peter was about to apologize yet again but found himself cut off as Alice bent down and picked him up into her arms. As always she was unable to control herself around Peter in his rabbit form. No matter how many times she told herself that the rabbit was still Peter, the man that took her from her sister, she couldn't resist his cuteness. He was just too fluffy, soft and cute to stay mad at; in fact she'd even make him return to human form just so she could hit him.
"Does this mean you forgive me, Alice?" Peter asked with a hopeful smile as he enjoyed her embrace. With an embarrassed frown the brunet cuddled the rabbit in her arms as she looked down at him.
"… Yes Peter, as long as you stop insulting my friends. You might not like them but I do so it upsets me when I hear you insult the people I care about." Alice said with a small sigh. Sometimes she really hated how she couldn't be mad at her kidnapper when he was in his adorable rabbit form.
Peter's ears flattened against his head as he remained silent for a moment. All he really wished for was Alice's happiness and love; it was never his intention to make her unhappy. So hearing her say that he was the reason she was unhappy hurt. While he'd never understand the concept of friends or having them he knew they made Alice happy. As long as they made her happy Peter was sure she'd be more willing to stay in Wonderland forever.
"If that makes you happy than I'll do my best to do so." Peter promised, snuggling his little head against her chest. With a nod Alice gave Peter's rabbit form one more hug before almost forcefully putting him down.
"Thank you. Now go back to the castle… maybe I'll come visit you and Vivaldi once I'm done at the amusement park." She told him, her cheeks flushed red in an embarrassed blush. His face brightening tremendously Peter returned to human form in a flash and attacked Alice with a tight hug.
"Oh my love, how you make my heart sore! If you must go to that dreaded park at least allow me to guide you." He requested happily, glad to hear that he was forgiven. With a grunt Alice shoved Peter away from her before turning her back on him.
"No, Peter, go back to the castle now or I won't come to visit later." She demanded as she walked away from him. She heard him sigh in disappointment and, after a few words of goodbye, heard him walk away.
Turning to look behind her Alice saw the rabbit man disappear down the path that lead back to the castle. As much as a stalker and a jerk that she though Peter could be he really wasn't all that bad. Alice even thought he was kind of attractive. Did she love him? No, she didn't even really like him all that much. However who knew, maybe one day her feelings for the stalker rabbit would change to match his own feelings for her… just without the craziness.
Well I hope you enjoyed ^^ if you have any other requests, couple requests and/or a scene you want I'm open for ideas.
