Hey ya'll! Valentine week is here, so I decided to write some random fluffs of some of our favorite pairings for each day of the Val week (that doesn't mean that I'll be updating everyday for the next seven days though). So, here you go…

R&R!

1. Rose Day

Travis Stoll & Katie Gardiner

You chuckle lightly as you imagine what might be going on inside Cabin 4 right now. Gods, I really am awesome, you tell yourself, as you wait in anticipation for the screams to start. You think of the worms – fake ones – you had put inside the shampoo bottles. And now you can't control yourself so you end up bursting into laughter.

You are so engaged in your pleasant reverie that you barely pay attention to the ropes which are making their way around your neck and curling around your arms. Unfortunately, by the time you notice, it's too late already. You are now about six feet above the ground. Your back is painfully pinned against the wall and your feet dangle below you, feeling like lead.

You are as much surprised as you are angry, and you learn the hard way that the more you try to break free, the tighter the ropes – rather creepers, as you now discover – are getting. The twines around your neck are so taut that you can barely breathe. You groan, frustrated, pissed that someone has had the nerve to pin you, to this pathetic wall. Is it that wimp Connor? No, he was off giving away roses to his dearest Miranda.

It's Rose Day after all, and nobody, literally nobody at Camp has the privilege to be as frickin' single as you. Your lips go crooked in distaste. Hades, why couldn't you be giving away roses to someone too? Of course, because that someone was inside Cabin 4 right now, along with those bloody worms. And you are here, six feet above the ground, tied in a bunch of stupid creepers.

"The creepers are not stupid," someone says, and you realize you had just spoken the last statement aloud.

Nevertheless, you try to turn your head towards the direction of the voice, but the twines don't allow you. And then you gasp… gosh, the one to make you a hostage was Katie. Katie Gardiner, the plant goddess, the beauty of beauties, your eternal love herself! No wonder the creepers.

Part of your mind wants you to be upset, while the other part orders you to be overjoyed by the fact that Katie herself was standing a couple of feet before you. And when she puts her hands on her hips and clicks her tongue like 'tch, tch, tch' you can't help but admire that cute little pimple on her nose and that annoying smirk on her face.

"Well, well, well, Hail Lord Prankster Himself!" she exclaims.

You stare at her for a minute, and then start laughing. You like the confusion wrought on her face.

Then she says, "Was that you then? Did you really think we Demeter children are so dumb to fall for your tricks every time?"

With that, her eyes are clouded with fury, and you are terrified. You have definitely heard people choke to death, so you don't say anything. You just keep that mischievous smile on your lips. But no matter how hard you try to play cool, you keep getting distracted by the strand of hair that kept falling in front of her face.

"Aww, never in my life have I heard Mr. Travis Stoll so quiet. Anyways, now that I have finally got you, you deserve a punishment."

Punishment? You don't like the sound of that. You notice that cruel smirk on her face, and you wonder if you had been playing way too cool for her taste. Oh Hermes, were your awesome genes supposed to stop working in a critical situation such as this? You curse in Greek as you think of a way to escape from here.

You admit to yourself that all the pranks you did on the Demeter kids were to attract their head councilor's attention, but not so much that she would personally want to kill you. It's for the first time in your frickin' life that you have been so afraid of any bloody thing.

You shudder and squeeze your eyes shut as Katie walks towards you, hoping that some miracle would save you from this mess that you have landed in.

And then you smell… roses? Yes, they definitely are roses. Maybe you really have gone crazy thinking about the damned Rose Day. Still, you open your eyes just in case you were to be surprised. And you're not disappointed when you see yourself covered in red.

You have roses all over you, growing on the branches that were used to tie you up. You look up and seeing Katie laughing, her jade green eyes full of mischief. Although her laugh isn't the kind poets describe, like the tinkling of bells or other weird stuff like that, you like it.

You just gawk at her like a fool, pleased at the sudden change of atmosphere. You raise an eyebrow questioningly and her expressions turn into a frown.

She shrugs and starts backing off, "Well, I thought it was Rose Day today and meant to surprise you. It's okay if you don't like me in that way though. I'll just go away and forget what happened…"

"Are you kidding me? I love you Katie!" you shout as she turns away.

And the next second you are lying on the ground, flat on your face. After you divert your attention from your throbbing chin, you see her beside you. Punching you.

"Ow, that frickin' hurts, are you gonna kill me just because I said that I like you?" you cry out in pain.

"Well, you could have told me earlier. What was the need to make me look like a fool? I hate you, I HATE YOU TRAVIS!"

"But I love you," you say. She stops and hugs you tight, her tears wetting your cheeks, half laughing, half crying.

"I love you too," she says.

And you know that this was the best Rose Day you have ever had in your nineteen years of life.
