~Hey, I'm back~
Hi, everyone. I'm sorry about all my stories. I kind of forgot about fanfiction for a while before Berryboo (SG2000) restarted the camp half-blood forum into the camp Jupiter forum. Before I start with my story, this is what happened. The first season of CHB was over, Iris cabin came second woohoo, and the mods were all planning for season two. Points would have been reset and everything would begin anew. Everyone who was still active was hyped but something happened. Season two started but not as many people were active. Only the mods and a few others were on. A few members joined but weren't officially in. Many cabins were full of inactive members. Prompts were up but the only person who wrote was Daswortowo so thank you for trying and sorry. I realised nothing was going to get better so I said a quick goodbye to the people on the forum and I left. I forgot about ff for a long time. If it weren't for SG restarting the forum in another camp, I would have left ff for good. So all you people out there, sorry. I've come back and with a few great prompts from the mods of CJ, I will be back in business and reboot all my stories back into existence. Thank you all. Now on with the story, (Not many of you will still be following me from 2018. If you still are then thank you so much.)

And here is the description if you want more information before joining: Continuation of the forum Camp Half-Blood, may not be as good as the original but we missed the friendly competition. "Welcome all demigods of all parentage; this forum is a place to chat, write, and provide a little bit of friendly competition. Each Cabin gains points every month with every piece of fiction written with the prompts given weekly. Come joins us, we'd be glad to have you! Note: This is not a Role-Play Forum, It is a place in which aspiring Percy Jackson writers can gain inspiration."
Okay, now all of that is finally over, time with the ACTUAL story. Hope you like it :)
Annabeth breathed in the calming scent of lavender as she walked down the library steps. She had been reading all morning and finally decided to come out and have a break. She glanced around, absorbing in all the details of New Rome. Construction sites were still visible in the distance but everything was nearly complete. It was like a dream come true, Annabeth smiled, together with the best boyfriend in the world. Annabeth stumbled on a loose tile on the ground but righted herself before anybody could claim to have seen the great Annabeth Chase trip over. Yes, she was famous now; the lead architect of the great city of New Rome! She puffed out her chest but then stopped, realising hat the hubris was getting to her. She quickly walked to the cafe shop across the street and walked inside, embracing the sound of chatter and the ding of the bell above the door. She really needed some coffee to keep her mind functioning correctly.
As Annabeth sat down, she whipped out a book from her bag, sighing to herself when the letters fell apart into images of monsters and heroes. The dyslexia was really getting to her these days. They really needed a translated to reprint the books in ancient greek but since most of the people had the same problem people who were willing were hard to get ahold of.
"Here you go Annabeth," the waiter, Gloria, said smiling at her, "Your usual."
"Thank you so much, Gloria," Annabeth smiled back before turning back to her book. She focussed and the words moved back into their original positions, almost. She focussed harder and the words started making sense. Okay, let's start. Suddenly, her pocket vibrated, making her jump and all the words came crashing down again. Annabeth fumbled with the monster-proofed phone and pressed the big, green, receive button.
"Hello? Who is this?" Annabeth inquired.
"Hey Annabeth, it's Jason. I was wondering if you had time to check on Percy. He's feeling unwell."
"Sure, is he fine?" Annabeth started to get worried.
"I don't know for sure but his temperature is high and he is refusing the nectar and ambrosia."
"Okay, I'll be there soon."
"Do you even know where we are?"
"Yes... No, where are you?"
"Oh, just his house."
"I'll be there right away!"
Annabeth took off down the street, struggling to keep the coffee in its cup. She raced around the corner and spotted the house they were living together in. Percy is in there and he needs my help, she thought overdramatically. She came through the door quietly, creeping up the stairs towards their bedroom. The door was ajar and there were faint voices coming from inside. She slowly opened it, stepping inside.
There, on the bed, was Percy, pale as a sheet with a pile of tissues on the nightstand. His blanket was twisted and thrown to the side. His nose was red and eyes closed, indicating maybe a headache or tiredness. Annabeth rushed to his side.
"What's wrong Percy!" she said, clear worry in her voice.
"He's just a bit ill," Jason said, standing by the window, looking down at his friend's face.
"I'm fine," Percy said with a croaky voice, trying to sit up falling back down with eyes closed.
"You are clearly not!" Annabeth explained, pulling the discarded blanket back over him.
"Yes I am," he insisted, smiling as he opened his eyes, attempting to sit up again. This time, he did but then he clutched his head and groaned. Annabeth pushed him back down in an attempt to get him to sleep.
"You are not fine and I'm not letting you out," Annabeth commanded.
"What's the time?" he said weakly.
Annabeth glanced at her watch. "Quarter to one, why?"
Percy sat up again, rubbing his eyes. "I'm going to be late for the meeting."
"No, you are staying here."
"I agree with Annabeth," Jason put in, "you should stay and call it sick because you are," he gestured at the nightstand, "Sick."
"No, I'm the leader of the camp and if people see me take a day off just because of a measly disease then people will start to doubt m-"
Percy got cut off by Annabeth, "I don't care. I'm not letting you get up until I know that you're one hundred percent better again."
Percy pouted but one look from Annabeth's stern eyes made him breathe a sigh and resign, "You win Annabeth but when you get sick, I'm not letting you out either"
Annabeth grinned, "Deal"
Jason smiled, "Well, I'll be off because I don't want to be late for the meeting and I'll have to explain how you're sick."
Percy's eyes opened wide as Annabeth leaned down towards him. "You'll get sick"
Her breath was hot on his neck. She leant down and their lips touched. A soft moan escaped Percy's mouth as Annabeth drew away. She flattened out the bed sheet and swept all the tissues into the garbage bin. A new tissue box was opened and a piece of lavender was placed onto the table. The smell wafted through the room and Percy started to relax, drifting further and further into a state of blissful sleep.
Annabeth gazed into Percy's sea-green eyes and whispered into his ear, "I love you."
Percy's mouth moved slightly and through his croaky voice, Annabeth managed to hear a quiet, yet sincere, "I love you too."
