Hello everyone, I'm working on the Dancing Cockatoo so don't worry. There will hopefully be an update for that in less than a month. I have time because of the whole COVID 19 thing. Hope all of you are safe and have a means of surviving this outbreak and keeping your jobs. Just remember, if you are having any emotional issues and emotional help, the internet is full of wonderful people and you can contact someone to console you, give you advice or just be there. Okay, on with the story :)

Sike! (again) AN isn't over yet. Still gotta do dis stuf.

Prompt: Split Personality Disorder

Cohort: 2

Words: 2650 (not including AN)

About: This one-shot is for the Camp Jupiter Forum. More information is on the first chapter.

Note that this is actually a crossover with MTG because we were allowed and I wanted to try it out.

I also wanna give a brief shout out to the mods of Camp Jupiter for providing us with prompts and organizing the server. Also a shout out to Emma for creating the OG CHB and SG2000 for creating CJ. If it weren't for you people, I would have left FF a long time ago so thank them!

So I need to explain some stuff before I get into the story. This is set after the Percy Jackson series but before the whole war with Gaea. In the MTG side of things, this is set after the oath of the gatewatch with the battle of zendikar but before Emrakul in Innistrad. Note: I haven't read war of the spark yet even tho it was released like a year ago or smthin so don't give me spoilers :r

Also note, I might get some details about phyrexia wrong so :/ don't judge…

Why are all my AN's so long...

Okay, this is the actual story, enjoy

Very Very Important! This is a crossover so don't read it if you don't really want to.

Percy grunted as the hellhound pounced on him, swiping its claws ferociously. He swung Riptide through it but through the dust came another, just as savage. Percy was being pushed back. He looked to his right. Annabeth was also there, wielding her dagger in the hopes of defending against the creatures. Percy quickly looked back but it was too late. The werewolf had jumped on him, carving a deep mark into his stomach. He shouted in pain and stabbed the monster, clutching his belly.

"Percy!" Annabeth shouted, leaping in to defend him.

Percy gasped in pain and stood up, supporting himself with a tree. Annabeth was barely holding off against the hellhounds. Percy raised his sword but it was knocked out of his hand by the hounds. Annabeth misstepped and tripped over enabling them to leap at her. Percy pushed himself over, trying desperately to protect her as she screamed but it was too late.

"Annabeth!" Percy screamed as claws dug into his back. Annabeth was still struggling but her movements were getting more and more sluggish. Percy cried out as tears poured down his face. He reached his arm to her but suddenly, the monster was on him, ripping his body to shreds. He screamed again but couldn't escape the pain. Just then, when Annabeth stopped moving, he felt a searing pain in his heart, burning his whole body. No! This couldn't be possible. It couldn't. Annabeth couldn't be dead. But before he could think any more, a claw ripped through his chest and he burst.

He felt himself rise, pain was dulling. His wounds were closing. It felt as if there was a burning sensation around him except it felt comforting. Like he had more power. The hellhound that was lying, stunned on the ground. Percy felt the familiar tug in his gut as water started seeping in through the ground. He felt cold on the inside. This hellhound had killed Annabeth. It should die too. The water swept around the hellhound and it whimpered as the liquid froze, trapping it. Percy stepped forward and ripped it's head clean off from its neck. He turned to face Annabeth's still body and fell to his knees. He tentatively touched her face, tears threatening to cascade down his face. The rest of the hellhounds tried to run away but the water ripped them all to shreds. Percy screamed in anguish as all the pain hit him at once. There was a dull blue flash and he was gone.

Jace Beleren walked the streets of Ravnica that stretched into the distance as far as the eye could see. Recently, the guilds have been acting up. Boros had been more aggressive with other guilds, demanding for their supplies and creating fights in the alleyways. Dimir had also begun to tense up, keeping more and more secretive and it's information gathering teams had been working harder, prying, readying for war. Jace sighed, as the living guildpact, times like these were hard. Relations between guilds were delicate enough and this just made it worse.

Jace stopped as he felt something unfamiliar disturb the blind eternities. It was like a comet of power, ripping through the fourth dimension barrier of the plane. It must be a planeswalker but who was it? Considering the roughness of the planeswalk, it was most likely a first timer with a newly ignited spark. It came from the direction of New Pherixia. He shuddered. Hopefully The phyrexians hadn't harvested a spark yet. A phyrexian planeswalker in Ravnica would be troublesome to say the least. They might disrupt the already unstable relations of the guilds and Ravnica will fall back into the dark ages. Jace rubbed his temples, bringing down the migraine that started to form. He better get the rest of the gatewatch here to avoid a disaster but first, he needed to find the new planeswalker.

Suddenly, a figure appeared in front of him, crumbling to the ground. Jace quickly put up a counterspell barrier around both of them and his eyes glowed blue, ready to defend or attack. He intruded the mind of the figure and relaxed when he found out he was a human but the thing that disturbed him was the fact that he was from an unknown plane. He needed to bring this up to the gatewatch immediately. Jace concentrated and his eyes flashed.

"Hello?" Jace asked, projecting out to Chandra.

"Ah! What the- wait, Jace?"

"Yeah, can you get Gideon and Nissa and yourself on Ravnica please?"

"Mhmm, okay, what happened?"

"I'll tell you when you get here."

"Okay, I'll get them."

Jace broke the mind connection and looked at the figure that was lying down in front of him. He peeked in his mind a little more, grabbing some more useful information. Earth huh? New planes equals new enemies equals new allies equals brand new war. Perfect, a lovely addition to the tension already happening on Ravnica. This Percy Jackson saved a plane so probably on the good side? Nothing struck Jace as menacing or 'evil'.

"Percy," Jace said softly, slowly stepping towards the shuddering figure on the ground.

Percy looked up, face in between confused and distraught. He quickly stood up, holding out his sword at Jace.

"Who are you! How do you know my name!" Percy shouted at the man in the blue cloak. Jace looked at the sword which was almost touching his nose. It was a Celestial Steel sword, Jace thought, Jace was a planeswalker so would the sword be able to harm him? Jace wasn't immortal but planeswalkers used to be before the Mending Era. Does a planeswalker count as an immortal? When rules on certain planes expand into other planes, the result is unpredictable. Jace reached his hand to the blade and slid his finger down the sharp edge. He raised an eyebrow when a cut appeared on his finger. That just made things more complicated. If the rule wasn't about if the person was immortal or not then what was it? Could it be that the rule was what was not mortal? If so, what is the difference between Percy's plane's blood and other planes? The composition was around the same in certain planes like Dominaria but further testing needed to be conducted. And about beings without blood at or like the Eldrazi? The nature of the Eldrazi where already cryptic enough and-

"Who are you?" Percy repeated the question sternly, interrupting Jace's thoughts.

"Oh, I'm Jace, I assume you have a lot of questions so would you like to follow me to-" Jace was cut off again by Percy.

"How do you know my name and what is this place?" Percy gestured to the buildings around them. Jace sighed. There was a lot of explaining to do.

"Okay, I know you have a lot of busting questions but would you please wait. I would prefer going to a place more private to discuss this," Jace looked around, hoping no Dimir spies were around.

"Okay, but one wrong move and you are dead," Percy threatened, raising his sword to Jaces neck. Jace nearly chuckled as he composed himself and released the swirling counterspells around them. Suddenly, three figures flashed into existence in front of them.

"Jace! Sorry we are late, for some reason, we couldn't planeswalk to you," Chandra exclaimed as she ran towards Jace.

"Oh yeah, I put up a planswalking barrier in case Nicol Bolas sends someone to grab the new planeswalker," Jace rubbed the back of his neck.

Nissa and Gideon stood, confused on the side. "What new planeswalker?" Gideon questions.

"Him," Jace gestured to the boy with the sword, "His name is Percy. Came from a new plane."

Gideon nodded and Jace shuddered as everyone around him opened their mouths to ask a question.

"Questions for later," Jace said before any of them could say a word, "Since Percy here can't planeswalk properly yet, we need to find a safe place in Ravnica to discuss this stuff. I was thinking the infinite consortium north base 3, it's the closest one from here."

All the rest shut their mouths and Jace started walking down a road towards the mentioned place.

Percy was confused. He had no idea what the hell was happening. He tried to process what was going on around him but it didn't make any sense. He had appeared in a weird place with no idea in the world where he was and someone casually strolls over, knowing everything and makes the situation a whole lot more confusing by talking about planes and planeswalkers. And other people teleported in, dressed in full-on costumes who seemed to be friends of the man named 'Jace'. The man in the yellow armour looked intimidating and he doubted he could threaten anybody anymore. All he knew was that he was in some sort of city and was about to follow a complete stranger towards an unknown building he had never heard of. Great.

But then he remembered Annabeth. Wait. Was she still alive? Was she dead? He grimaced at the thought, a tear threatening to slide down his face. She was dead, wasn't she. She was dead. Forget about her. Move on because mourning won't do anything. Percy stood rigidly, what was that thought. No, he should be sad. What was wrong with him? He tried desperately to remember her face but stopped. It was no use. He couldn't remember it. And maybe that was all for the better. Maybe he shouldn't remember Annabeth. Percy held a debate in his head. What was wrong with him?

Jace smiled as he heard the conflicting thoughts inside Percy's head. Split personality disorder, he diagnosed but didn't say out loud.

~~~timeskip~~~
Jace arrived at the front of the planeswalker base and gestured for the others to go inside.
The interior of the base was simple. It had a table, chairs and a staircase to the upper floor. Everyone sat down and Jace breathed in. This was going to be a long talk.
~~~timeskip~~~

Percy nodded. I all started to make sense now. He got it. He was a planeswalker now. New things to do. New responsibilities and new worlds to discover. New people. New life. But Annabeth. He clenched his fist. He would never forget Annabeth. He had to let go and move on. Yes, wait what? Percy quickly stood up, he knew what he was doing, well at least he hoped he did.

Jace stood up, "I think it's time for you to learn how to planeswalk quickly and efficiently."

"But didn't I already do that?" Percy asked.

"That planeswalk was messy, energy consuming and reckless and can cause damage if kept up. The blind eternities aren't exactly empty," Jace shuddered at the thought of the Eldrazi and so did the rest of the gatewatch.

Percy nodded. He needed to get stronger. He needed to get better. But what about his demigod powers?

"You will still have them but they will be amplified," Jace said, looking around, dismissing the rest of the gatewatch.

Percy nodded, still slightly disturbed at the fact that he could read minds. So he would be able to know everything. Huh.

"Yes I can," Jace said, "but sometimes, I come across things that I don't want to remember and that's why I don't read minds of those mad scientists researching disturbing things."

Percy nodded again.

"Okay, Percy. Focus on pushing yourself in a direction, argh, it's hard to explain. Planeswalkers just get the hang of it. It's like moving a limb you never knew you had. Just focus on your home plane and your desire to go there and push towards it. That way, we will also know where your plane is."

Percy focussed. He wanted to go home. He wanted to go back to Annabeth. But he should forget about Annabeth. She is dead and he should move on. He shouldn't be consumed in grief as that would slow him down and hinder him from what he could become. He could be better at what he was already good at and Annabeth would only- But he loved Annabeth. He might have only just realised it but she was amazing and so… perfect she is so- She is dead and there is no changing that. Worrying about her will only make matters worse. Annabeth is in Elysium and she will never leave. There is no changing that- But there is a way to change that. With these new powers, I can break my way into Hades like I did last time and break her free! Maybe- Stop worrying about-

"Concentrate Percy. Stop thinking about Annabeth," Jace said sternly as his eyes glowed.

Suddenly, Percy's thoughts cleared and he could feel it. The pull of a planeswalker. He felt it and he knew where to go. His body flickered and he was gone. Jace closed his eyes and tracked the planeswalking energy throughout the blind eternities. It went far, towards a tiny dot of a plane and landed on it. Jace gasped. How could they have not felt that plane before on their way to Zendikar? They must have passed right by the plane without noticing it. It might have been the Eldrazi disrupting the very fabric of reality and blinded their fourth-dimensional sight.

Jace opened his eyes and planeswalked to the new plane.

Percy and Jace appeared on Olympus. Jace reached out to grab Percy to prevent him from stumbling and falling in dizziness. Percy thanked Jace and they walked up the pathway to the great throne room.

"It's weird how we don't need to talk to decide where we are going and what we are going to do," Percy remarked.

"Perks of being a mind reader I guess," Jace smiled.

They entered the throne room together, shocking all the gods that were arguing over what was the best way to impregnate a human.

Poseidon stood up, "What are you doing here Percy."

Percy twitched. He wanted to stay so bad and he wanted to meet Annabeth and- "I am leaving this plane for good," he said with no emotion on his face.

Jace grimaced as all the gods looked at him.

"Who exactly are you!" Zeus shouted, brandishing his thunderbolt.

Jace quickly scanned all of the god's minds and concluded there was nothing much interesting about them except that most of them were corrupted, brick headed, assholes who fucked humans for fun. "I am Zeus," Jace said, wanting to see how he would react. Zeus flared up. Why was this weirdly dressed mortal making fun of him? Just let him have a small taste of what a god actually is. He raised his master bolt and shot a small, nonlethal dosage at the man.

Jace effortlessly conjured a counterspell and absorbed the mana. Zeus gaped as the man smiled up at him. Percy snickered at the god's face.

"How did you-" Zeus got interrupted.

"Howdy, my name is Jace and this is Percy but I assume you all already know that. I, as part of the gatewatch, require your permission to log this plane in the planar logs on Dominaria. What would you like this plane to be called?" Jace said sweetly. He had plenty of practice with gods on different planes and if these were the same, they would wage war on him and try to kill him.

"Kill him!" Zeus shouted, "He is clearly saying nonsense!"

Jace sighed, turning to Percy, "You deal with this please, I am needed in Innistrad," he planeswalked away.

Percy nodded and turned back to the gods who were shouting at each other over what to do. This would be a nice thing to do and even nicer given the fact that he was still unsure about Annabeth and if the gods even knew she was dead. Time to make a decision.

Sorry this ended so suddenly, this crossover burned me out and I just didn't want to write anymore. Sorry if it doesn't actually match up with the prompt much. Hope you enjoyed!
