The chains bite into her virgin flesh, skin unaccustomed to abuse because they had never known any. So entrenched within her amicable philosophy and lifestyle is she that not even her body knew of how it can betray her. Now the nerves singe from the constant drag of rusted iron chainlinks; her wrists, her arms, her thighs, her ankles all burn under the scalding rub. Her eyes deceive her as well, making frightening figures out of the darkness which she wants to believe are not there, yet which seem so real. Down in this pit, she faces the physical suffering of bodily treachery. This is just the first stage of her training, though.

"It must suck, being chained up for a week without your friends even dropping by to say 'hi'." Says a calm voice over the struggle this prisoner put up.

"SHUT UP! THEY'LL COME FOR ME! I KNOW THEY WILL! THEY HAVE TO! They...they h-have to..."

"You're so selfish, it's almost a surprise to me that you have anybody willing to call you their friend. Then again, someone had to praise you for you to earn such a mighty title..." The villain stands from the dark corner in which he sat and spoke, and shuffles his way over to the cone of light provided by a singular, hanging bulb. His grotesque features become apparent, validating the prisoner's optical fears as somewhat true. Only darkness can spawn a being so hideous. He pulls her by her hair, soliciting a yelp from her, and stares into her frightened baby blues with his bored gray gaze.

"Ain't that right, Zura, Dispeller of Darkness?"

"I'LL DESTROY YOU!" Her eyes and mouth brightened intensely, ethernano building heavily behind her eyes, through her nostrils, and in her throat. In the face of this attacking illumination, the captor maintained his dull look. Suddenly, the girl detonated light in all directions, flooding from her very pores, overflowing the room with a blinding aura for just a few moments before a black inferno rushed across its edges and swallowed it back down.

"You'll destroy who?" Asks the young man, who now has the woman subdued with his fingers pinching her tongue out her mouth. His fingertip grip burns the oral muscle, making it simmer. Her eyes roll to the back of her head with the death of her brightness, and the scleras are slowly infected with black.

"I'LL DESTROY THEM!" She chokes out in a voice foreign to the smooth softness she exclaimed previously, saliva drooling from her gaping facehole.

"Good girl." He releases her tongue, letting the drama of her possession die out altogether. She coughs and suffers under the agony of a tongue burnt not only with heat, but with treachery. Tears stream down her face, and as her crimson locks are roughly grasped once more, she cannot hide her expression as it pleads for mercy.

"I will teach you the worthlessness of friendship by making you the devaluer, the breaker of bonds. No better experience is to be had in that subject than by being the one who kills their friends, as opposed to being the friend killed."

"N-no, p-please don't-"

Her face is embraced by both of his charred palms, and the heat of animosity sears her skin at either side. Once more, she becomes a dummy to his backstabbing influence, a slave to his Judas passion.

"I will smelt you in the magma of mutiny, and raise you as the conduit of my will. You will be Zura, the Slayer of Light. You will-"

"Destroy them all."

Djinn smiles with satisfaction, and runs appreciative fingers through her hair, delivering a loving scratch to the scalp.

"Good girl."
