Ella's POV

My dad and Carol's wedding ceremony was beautiful. I stood next to Carol, who instantly made me her Maid of Honor. I couldn't stop smiling and I could feel tears in my eyes just as Mother Nature said, "By the power vested in me, by me, I now pronounce you Santa and Mrs. Claus. Well, go on, now. Kiss her."

Midnight finally approached and my dad and my new stepmom shared their wedding kiss. I let the tears fall as all of the elves awed at the sight. I'm so happy for both of them. Then, I gasped happily as my dad's stomach grew larger and his white beard returned. He was Santa again! Everyone cheered and I high-fived and hugged my brother just as we felt something funny in our mouths. We finally got our molars back thanks to Tooth Fairy's magic.

I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and it was my dad. He held out his arms, hugged me tight, and said, "Thank you, Ella Bella. I couldn't have gotten married again without you and Charlie's help."

He kissed my cheek and his beard tickled me again. Boy, did I miss that.

"You're welcome, Daddy," I said as I gently tugged his beard.

Dad chuckled warmly just as Charlie reminded him that it was time to go. I gave Carol a hug as we walked over to the sleigh. We hated having Dad to leave Carol already, but we have to get those gifts delivered.

"Well, Mrs. Claus, you might want to get some rest," Dad told Carol. "You see, tomorrow starts vacation season for me, which means a three month honeymoon for us."

Carol smiled at that.

"Ah, nothing tropical," he insisted. "You don't want to see this in a Speedo." Dad gestured at his stomach. Several of the elves giggled at Dad's joke and I did, too, as I covered my mouth.

"Don't be home too late," Carol replied.

Dad looked at us and smiled. "And so it begins! Boys, we've got some toys to deliver!" Dad called out to his reindeer. "Hyah! Hyah!"

Charlie and I waved goodbye to Carol, Bernard, Curtis and the rest of the elves as we yelled out "Merry Christmas" until we were out of the hole.

When we arrived back home, Charlie, Dad and I knew it was finally time to tell Lucy the truth. Charlie and I told Mom and Neil about our plan once we got inside and told them everything that's happened since Dad left for the Pole. They agreed that it was time for Lucy to know about Dad as Santa.

I walked into our bedroom, put my bag down, and sat down on Lucy's bed and motioned for Charlie to come in.

"Lucy," I whispered and shook her gently. "Luce, wake up."

"What, Ellie?" Lucy answered groggily, then she saw Charlie standing by me. "What's going on?"

"Come downstairs with us," I said.

"We want you to see something," Charlie added.

Lucy still felt a little sleepy when she got out of her bed so Charlie picked her up and carried her downstairs as they followed me into the living room and we sat down on the couch.

"Lucy, watch this," Charlie and I instructed, gesturing towards the fireplace. Then, the fireplace opened up and Dad came down the chimney. Lucy gasped happily and a huge smile came on her face when she saw him.

"Uncle Scott?" Lucy asked.

To humor her and see if she recognized him, Dad asked, "Do you have any twos?"

"GO FISH! YOU ARE SANTA!" Lucy shouted happily. "I knew it was you all along!"

"And you were right," Dad grinned.

"Uncle Scott, you look all rosy. Are you feeling better?"

"I'm feeling much, much better," he promised.

"Is there anything else I should know about?" She asked curiously.

"I don't know, but you know, I think Charlie and Ella have something that they want to tell ya," Scott told her.

"Okay," Lucy replied and then turned to us.

"You know Lucy, Charlie and I were about your age when I found out our Dad was Santa," I began. "But we couldn't tell anybody."

"So I can't tell anybody either?" Lucy questioned with sad eyes.

"No," Charlie replied. "But knowing it isn't a burden. It's a gift. You know most kids stop believing in Santa when they grow up, but we get to believe in him forever!"

"And now, you do, too," I finished with a smile.

"I love you guys. Thank you," Lucy said as she hugged us. Dad smiled. "But do I still get toys?" She asked him excitedly.

"If you ever get back to bed and go to sleep like the other kids!" Dad promised.

"Oh, okay," Lucy agreed.

"Merry Christmas, Lucy."

"Merry Christmas, Santa," Lucy smiled.

"Sport, Ella Bella, I've gotta fly!" Dad said to us as he walked back to the chimney. With that, Dad was sucked back up. Then, we heard the reindeer on the roof and we quickly got Lucy into her coat and boots and ran outside.

"Easy, boys, easy," we heard Dad call out to the team. Chet groaned as he tried to break again. "And you're gettin' it, Chet."

Dad saw us at the doorway and we waved goodbye. Then, Dad leaned back and nuzzled Comet on the ears. We got him back on the sleigh before Charlie and I came inside.

Lucy gasped, "Look, Charlie! Look, Ellie!" Then, she called out, "Merry Christmas, Comet!"

We waved goodbye to Dad once more as snow began to fall and we heard Dad call out, "All right, boys! Hyah!" Then, he chuckled another warm-hearted "Ho, ho, ho!" and shouted, "Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!"
