The New Supernatural World
"Then the goblin hour has arrived." the Goblin King shouted. "You are free,
my minions. Go forth this night, and let goblin mischief reign!"
The goblins flew out of the castle, laughing as they did so.
"As for you two." he said to Shaggy and Scooby as they cowered in fear of his majesty. "You are going to pay dearly for trying to steal my scepter." that he blasted the duo with his magic, in less than a second the man and his dog were nothing but dust. The king left his castle to rescue his daughter.
Back at the carnival, Fred and Daphne had set up a trap and were waiting for the Goblin King to appear. His majesty finally arrived to rescue Willow from Krudsky.
"Do you think it will work?" Daphne asked.
"It has to." Fred said. Although they did know it, they were humanity's last hope.
Suddenly a large goblin landed next to the magician. "Show yourself, wicked warlock." the king said.
"Thank you for coming. I do so admire your punctuality." Krudsky said.
"Show me the princess or be destroyed." the king said.
"You wouldn't dare use magic against me so long as I have her under my spell. Why, here she is now, unharmed, as promised." Krudsky said showing the fairy to the goblin. "The scepter if you please." he said smugly.
"Now Daphne." Fred shouted just as the Goblin King was about to give Krudsky the scepter. She pulled the lever and a net dropped onto the king, unfortunately, it missed Krudsky allowing him to take the scepter, however, Fred had managed to get the fairy with the warlock's hat.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the Amazing Krudsky, version 2.0!" Krudsky shouted picking up the scepter which turned him into a goblin. Then he used its magic on the king turning him into a goose. "Who's next?" Krudsky asked.
"Ok, that wasn't part of the plan." Fred said.
"Run for it." Daphne shouted as the two of them ran as fast as they could out of the towel and head towards the van.
Krudsky blast his stolen magic at one of the clocks, it shattered and he flew out. "Shadow Goblins, have your fun. Halloween has just begun, tonight, Halloween is under new management." he said as several goblins flew around the towel. Krudsky noticed the van and flew after it.
In the van, Velma had just wakened up after fainted from seeing real magic. "What's happening? Where am I?" she asked just before Krudsky flew in front of the van. Fred stopped the vehicle.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I present... the Monstrous Machine." Krudsky said as he blasted the Mystery Machine causing a yellowish-green glow to surround it.
The gang exited the van as it transformed into a metal monster.
"Whoa. Now, that is something you just do not do to a guy's van." Fred said as Daphne and Velma held him back. "Run!" Fred shouted as the van drove towards them. It chased them into the carnival. They tried to escape but the amphomorphic vehicle chased them throughout the carnival breaking several stands in the process, unit it trapped them on the top of the Ferris wheel.
Jeepers! We're Stuck!" Daphne said with panic in her voice.
That was when the amazing Krudsky flew up to them. "THIS SHALL TEACH YOU TO MIDDLE IN THE AFFAIRS OF MAGICIANS!" he shouted.
"Do something, Freddie" a worried Velma said.
His reply was less than encouraging. "I am doing something. I panicking!"
"Oh, Scooby-Doo. Where are you?" Daphne asked herself out loud.
Then the newly turned goblin king blasted his stolen magic at the trapped mystery solvers which cast a truly horrific spell on them.
They groaned in pain as the magic took hold of them, changing them. Mentality and physically.
Velma felt her teeth grow sharper, as brown fur grew all over her body. Her ears became more canine whilst her hands were turning into hand-like paws. The magic disintegrated her shoes which were already too small for her new back paws. Her face began to stretch into a muzzle and finally, she grew a wolf tail.
Fred saw his skin turn pale blue as his hair became spiky but well-coned. His upper canine teeth grow long and slimmer, his fingernails morphed into claws and his clothes became that of a well dressed up class Victorian gentleman, with a red cape.
Daphne put both hands on the of her head as her nose grow elongated, with her nostrils widening and a wart grew on each side of her nose. Her hair became longer now going over her shoulders and became scruffy and unkempt. As her metamorphosis continued she bent over to ease the pain. Her fingers lengthen as her nails became sharp and pointy, her eyebrows grow longer and were permanently arched and her chain pointed outwards with a wart on the left side. Her skin turned green and her modern purple outfit also turn into a black victorian dress, whilst her hair banded became a long, pointy black hat with an indigo strip around it.
With their transformations complete, Daphne unbent herself and cackled in delight as Velma jumped onto the sit in front of them and began to howl in the light of the full moon. All hope was lost, Halloween would last forever and the mortal realm would begone for good.
Five Years Later
Things had changed since Krudsky's takeover. Willow was forever trapped in a small box in a dark room to never see the light of day, regretting that she had disobeyed her father. The former Goblin King had been roasted and eat by Krudsky as no one other than him knew that the real king had been turned into a goose. Krudsky himself had ruled the goblins with glee and had tipped the scales of good and evil into his favor, light magic was no more and the other fairies disappeared one by one, never to be seen or heard from again.
As for the inhabitants of the mortal world, Krudsky had turned them all into monsters along with their memories of being humans, replaced with them, into making them think they were always monsters, just as he did to Fred, Daphne, and Velma.
As for the former mystery solvers their lives had been both different and somewhat the same. Velma was now a member of a pack of werewolves. Her mind had become that of an animal. She spends most of her days now hunting for food. Her desire to debunk the supernatural was gone. She rarely spoke, mostly she communicated in howls and barks.
Fred and Daphne had gotten together, whilst many things had changed their love was still there and the two of them had been together for three years. Fred spent his time drinking blood and hypnotizing monsters into doing tasks for him such as clean his new mansion. Daphne meanwhile had joined the trio of witches that had tried to help Shaggy and Scooby. Daphne helps them to make potions and commit wicked acts on other monsters.
Despite all of these changes the three were still friends and hang out at the mansion once a month, but their new memories had been erased of Shaggy and Scooby.
It was nine when Daphne came home. "Hello, Freddy." she said as she hopped off her broomstick. Her voice was now scratchy.
"Good evening my hideous, green-skinned love." Fred said in his Transylvanian accent. Daphne giggled, her pasted self would have broken into tears by such a remark but as a witch she found it to be the highest compliment anyone could give her.
"So how was your day? Did you get what I asked for?" she asked as they walked into the kitchen.
"Yes, my long nose queen." Fred said holding the ingredients for their evening meal.
"Excellent." she said. "Now let get cooking, so we have time to get ready."
An hour later the doorbell rang. "Coming." Daphne said. She was now in her evening black dress with an indigo stripe around the middle and without her hat. She opened the door to see Velma who was in an orange evening dress.
"Velma, it's good to see you again." Daphne said as hugged her friend.
"You too." Velma said, her voice was gruff.
"Oh the usual, I bet your howling with excitement for tonight." Daphne said as she and Velma made the way to the dining room, cackling at her joke.
The dining room was decorated with dark red walls and statues of gargoyles with a golden chandelier hanging from the ceiling. The table was dressed in a white table cloth with two candlesticks on each end and three chairs, one on the left side and the two at each end.
"Ar, Velma welcome. How have you been?" Fred asked as Daphne and Velma took their seats. He was now wearing his black evening suit and white shirt with a blue bowtie
"Great. The pack and I took down a boar last week. How have you guys been?" Velma said, talking with her mouth full as she dined on a large stack of raw beef ribs.
"Oh the usual, getting others to clean the mansion." Fred said then took a sip of blood from his glass.
"I've mostly been making potions." Daphne said, then began to eat her bowl of spider and web.
"How are the other witches?" Fred asked.
"Fine, we've been trying to create a potion that will turn people into snakes." Daphne said.
The friends talked throughout the night. They had been enjoying their new lives so far and it was likely going to be like that for many years to come.
