A/N: Sorry for Loki being bad! I love him, but for this story it just works. Enjoy!

My muscles ached and my head was swimming. I let out a low groan as my eyes fluttered open. Quickly looking at my surroundings, I see some old machinery and rags on cracked, concrete floors. There's a bit of light peaking through a window over my head, allowing me to see a couple meters ahead of me in an otherwise dark room. I shift in my hard wooden chair and move my stiff arms slightly. Twisting my wrists around, I feel that they're tied tightly behind me with some rough rope.
"Good, you're awake," a nasally voice spoke from somewhere behind my left side. I craned my neck as far as I could but to no avail.
"Do you have what you promised me?" I recognized the voice to be Loki's.
"Yes," the unknown man replied.
A blue light illuminated more of the warehouse and I heard a low chuckle from Loki.
"It's beautiful," he leered, "well worth the trade."
I felt anger boil up in me and tried again to turn around to glare at them. A cool hand danced over my shoulder, sliding up to wrap around my neck. "Be good pet. I hope there's no hard feelings, but you're expendable," Loki whispered as he caressed my jaw with his thumb, and squeezed my neck a little harder.
"You piece of shit!" I yelled, yanking my head away from him. His vice-like grip held me tighter and I could feel his nails digging into me.
"Tut tut. You are a bad girl aren't you. I see what Barnes likes about you," he drawled, pacing around to stand in front of me. He slammed his hands on my chair arms, and leaned in close to me. I could smell his earthy cologne, and felt his warm breath against me. "You better hope you can fulfill what he wants, otherwise you and your little soldier will be worth no more than dog food."
Gathering my nerve, I spat onto his face.
SLAP.
His hand whipped against me, knocking me over in the chair. I cried out as the hard concrete hit my shoulder, and I moaned in pain. It felt dislocated upon the impact. Loki let out a cackle and I saw him grab the blue light before disappearing.
"Well you have got some nerve still, I am not surprised," the second voice spoke again. I heard their footsteps as they shuffled towards me. I was yanked up in the chair and groaned at the pain pulsing in my shoulder. Snapping my eyes back to my capture, they land on a small man that was balding and a bit plump.
"After all these years, you thought we would be done with you and your friend did you not?" He continued, pacing in front of me. I shifted in my seat, and coughed to clear my dry throat.
"I am sure your solider will be here to save you soon. He knows this place very very well," the man chuckled darkly.
"But I am sure you remember don't you? You remember how you two mutilated those SHIELD agents for information?" He inquired, yet his tone was all-knowing. My heart continued to pound as the flashbacks that I had fought so hard to stifle rose to the surface again.
Of course I remembered what he was talking about. I remembered all the people HYDRA had me kill while under their control.
The man came up beside me again and looked deep into my eyes, studying me. My skin crawled being so close to such a vile man. He gripped me by my shoulders and continued to stare at me.
"One." My breath halted.
"Alone." I closed my eyes tightly hoping this was a dream.
"Moonlight." I yanked at my restraints.
"Train wreck."
"No stop stop!" I screamed, tugging away.
"Seven."
"Burgundy."
"Fuck you. Fuck you." I yelled, desperate as I felt myself slipping away.
"Winter." I could feel myself growing weaker as the words began to trigger what I had hoped was gone forever.
"Drowning." I blinked slowly, feeling the calm rush over me.
"Forty-Four." My mind was a blank canvas, the only thing that mattered were his words.
"Venom."
"Soldier, are you ready to comply?" The man was stood with his arms crossed in front of me, waiting.
"Yes."

At the Avengers Compound

Bucky let out a groan as he sat up, waving away the last traces of smoke.

"What the hell was that about?" Stark yelled, putting on his glasses as he spoke. "Friday, get specs on y/n, where is she, who's she with, etc. Pronto."

"I am so sorry, I have no idea what came over Loki," Thor looked ashamed as he helped Bucky up to his feet. Knocking away his hand, Bucky raced to the door.

He had only made it about ten steps when Tony called out, "Where do you think you're going robocop?"

"This isn't the time for games Stark. Y/N has been kidnapped. Are you fucking daft!" His blood was boiling. Clenching his fists he slammed one onto the table beside himself, shattering the mahogany.

"I'm working on it ok?" Stark sounded exasperated. "Anything yet Friday?"

Letting out another groan and running his fingers through his dark brown hair, Bucky paced to calm down.

"It is all my fault. I really thought Loki would be nice tonight. We have had him in an intensive rehabilitation program-"

"Shut up Thor. This is you fucking fault for bringing that conniving weasel here," Bucky spat. Staring daggers at Thor.

"Buck you gotta calm down. You know Thor adores y/n. We all just need to take a breather and try to figure out the motive here. What would Loki want y/n for?" Natasha said, attempting to mediate the growing tension between the two men. She knew from experience that Bucky's temper could get the better of him and make him react in rash ways. It wouldn't help anyone if they started fighting among themselves.

"I'm sorry Thor. I just can't believe this is happening," Bucky sighed.

Thor walked over and placed a large hand on Bucky's shoulder, "I know that you care about her. I promise you, we will find her."

Nodding his head, he gave Thor a strained smile.

"Got her," Tony rushed to the screen and cast a video upon it for everyone to see. Rushing over, the group saw y/n being knocked to the ground by Loki. Natasha flinched at the impact, her hand squeezed tightly onto Steve's. She glanced at him quickly and was met with a stony, determined face.

"Where is she," Steve demanded, turning his attention to Tony.

"About thirty minutes north of here. In a warehouse. Looks abandoned."

Bucky felt his skin crawl as the realization hit him. He exhaled and Steve looked over at him knowingly.

"It's an old HYDRA facility," Bucky muttered, running his hand through his hair again. Trying to remain composed, he took a deep breath. "They took her and I have to be the one to get her."

"No Buck we're a team. That's not how this works," Bruce chimed in. The others nodded, but Steve shook his head.

"He's right. They're sending him a message, the location, the target, the-" Steve was cut off as another figure appeared on the screen.

The group watched as he said some things to y/n. They saw her pulling against her restraints, before suddenly going limp in her chair. Her head snapped up and her eyes were steeled over.

"Fuck." Bucky murmured.

"Did he?" Natasha asked, eyeing Bucky.

"Yes."

"Wait, she's like you?" Bruce snapped, taking a step back from Bucky.

"She's not a monster Bruce. And considering what you've got hidden inside, I wouldn't judge her if I were you," Bucky growled, his metal fist clenched tightly in a fist.

"I'm sorry, I just meant that she's able to be controlled by HYDRA like you were," the scientist muttered sheepishly.

"Yes. Which is why I have to be the one to go and get her," Bucky moved for the door again.

"Hey not so fast Buck," Steve grabbed him by the arm, "That's my sister. I'm coming too."

Bucky shook his head, and walked towards the door, ripping off his dinner jacket and grabbing his gun from beside the couch.

"Well why can't we all help?" Tony demanded, stopping the two men in their tracks. Bucky paused before answering, his mind racing.

"Because he's not going to kill me. This is about one more mission for HYDRA," Bucky paused again. "They need the Winter Soldier."

A/N: Sorry it's a bit shorter than usual but I really wanted to end on another cliffhanger! I'll post again today as I am really in the writing mood this week, so stay tuned! I hope you are enjoying it.
