The priest stood before the crowd. A sample of the crystal papers in front of him. The words from the paper echoed from long ago in the past. His grin would not leave his face. He looked up, they were eager. His hair was curly and skin dark.

The lineage of the Freman prevalent in him. He looked at the sample of paper in front of him. His favorite passage.

He felt the God Emperor speaking to him from the page. Thousands of years later his presents is still felt. His Golden path still in process. Leto.

Thousands of years and generation upon generation scattered into the universe because of his actions, his dream, his vision, his prescience, and his love for his children. The Freman.

We are all Idaho, we are all Atredies. Our Father, the God Emperor. The words finally came to his mouth and he began to preach to the crowd.

- Historian of Rakkis Parliment

The stations hallways were stall, silent, and full of bland air. The memories of the many pasts he experienced, or more accurate given by the Tlielaxu. They came in waves.. No.. Floods.. Massive Floods of random debrie followed with pain, stress, sadness, loneliness and occasionally love.

He tried to hold those of comfort and warmth the longest to subside the headache rush of thoughts. The solitude of the hallway that he sat in was comforting.

The hum of the holtzman engines began to sooth him. Since his inception it has been a rush of movement, transportation, ships, and people prepping him for his delivery.

He was not exactly sure how many times this had happened to him at this point but it must of been hundreds. He rarely responded when asked questions, merely nodding and agreeing.

The latest news being of interest, only because he had not experienced it before.

The incubation periods were short compared to life but still took at least 2 standard years. More of the memories rushed in. The hustling of people made it seem like it was time to go.

Dressed in Freman attire and bland brown cloak with hood he stood out amongst the brightly lit hallway. He instinctively knew where he was going, though it finally dawned on him. He had no memory of what he would see when he arrived at the dark cave entrance.

He stepped off the ship and onto the sand. The rush of hot air passed over him but knew not to remove his gear despite how hot he got. The thoper left quickly though he was not sure why.

He had faint feeling from a memory that the worms were all gone. Which would explain why he felt no fear standing on the dune sand. He stood there awhile waiting for the memories of the cave to come to him.. But none did.

On the first step he sat to rest and meditate a moment. Clearing his head was difficult he was still too new. He wanted to hold off on this meeting for a bit longer so his mind could settle. But he was already here and his mind continued to race. It was no use to rest.

He saw the elevator just in side the entrance, but he passed on it and decided to take his time on the foot path down. The cool air coming from the depths of the cave provided a relief. The absense of memories of this place put him on guard. What awaited him down in the darkness?

The final steps approached him so he began to ready himself mentally. Life times of battle instincts came to the for front of this mind. He stayed calm, never revealing his emotional state.

Somehow all his efforts seemed pointless here, but he stayed ready anyway. The musky scent of a living creature filled the air of the large chamber as he entered.

Did he live here? A simple cave of stone and dirt. One light hovering near one end and what looked like shelves in the darkened back wall.

Something stirred in the dark near the unlit wall, it was not a man. Still no memories to help him out and now fear for the first time since he awoke.

"Do not be afraid my beloved Duncan."

"My Lord." Duncan heard Paul but..

"Duncan, Duncan, my dear Duncan, call me Leto."

Duncan stood steady, not wanting to disappoint his friend and Lord.

"So proud you are Duncan. Every time we meet, I so enjoy to see my greatest decision represent us."

"You must know already I will never fail you Leto, friend."

"I know your intention well and I love you for it."

It almost seemed that he had avoided truth in that statement. He would have to mark this moment and evaluate it later when he had time.

"You are woolgathering Duncan. I never get tired of that expression on your face."

"I am at a bit of a disadvantage here. I assumed you had the memory of these moments removed on purpose."

"No, there are no gholas made from gholas. You are from the original, sometimes with memories, sometimes without. But that does not change this moment. Our meeting is one of my favorite moments in this existence and yours as you have told me so many times before."

"You are lonely I know."

"Never for too long. Thanks to you. Shall we meet, this has been most pleasant up to this point."

"Yes. Yes. Le..to..."

Leto moved and when he did it seemed as if the wall of darkness moved. The glow globe hovered closer revealing a large opening of a sand worm mouth.. and a face...

"Leto." Duncan sounded almost worried.

"I know Duncan. I know."
