Hey there! So, my exams are done, finally I am free to do whatever I want (for now).
I was glad to see that most you appreciated the last chapter I made, thank you all for the support as it's really heartwarming to see so many people loving reading this as much as I love writing it.
This chapter is a short aftermath that takes place after the tavern events while Subaru is asleep, so don't take it as the official chapter 8, let's more call it a bonus.
I hope you enjoy your read!
[Ram]" Is that so?"
[Merchant] "I assure you Ram-sama! No one knows how it happened or who were involved but it's the truth!"
In the main plaza of the Arlam village, as she was buying supplies for her lord's domain, a short, pink haired maid was discussing with the merchant about some tumultuous events that happened in the capital of the kingdom.
[Rem] "Sister? Is anything the matter?"
As she finished what she had to buy, Rem, the younger twin sister of Ram, joined her sister to the merchant stall, smiling to the merchant who recognized her.
[Merchant] "Oh, nice to see you Rem-sama! I see you're still as lively than last time!"
Rem smiled and bowed with end of her dress to salute the merchant properly. Since Subaru intervention to save the village with the help of the manor residents, they became more closer to them as they took an important part in the rescue of the children.
Since then, the village always welcomed the maids every time they would come here to buy supplies…Or play with the children to their demands. Either case, it only helped to strengthen the bonds between them all, which pleased everyone involved, even Ram, even if she wouldn't show it much.
[Merchant] "I was just sharing a quite surprising event that happened in the capital to your sister!"
Rem tilted her head in curiousness as she too, wanted to hear about this story.
[Ram] " It seems my dear sister is interested as well. If you wouldn't mind, could you say that story again? I suppose you wouldn't refuse since such a cute girl is asking you."
The merchant chuckled a bit while he was still preparing the supplies Ram had ordered and cleared his throat before talking again.
[Merchant] "So, a few hours before in a part of the slums, a tavern suddenly started to burn out of nowhere! People started to panic and run away, but it seemed some were still trapped inside, while the raging fire was growing, ready to burn them alive!"
Rem grimaced a bit at the thought of people dying by burning alive. She was a though woman, but still, this was a horrible death she didn't wish to experience, may it be her or anyone else.
Ram was calmly listening to the story she already heard with no expression, she knew this was only the beginning.
[Merchant] "But suddenly, a black swordsman just came out of nowhere and jumped into the fire before the eyes of everyone! They all thought he had to be mad or suicidal, but some moments after, he came out carrying a giant on his shoulder like it was nothing!"
Rem widened her eyes about what she just heard, she knew the race of the giant existed, to think that someone could carry one easily was impressive.
Ram narrowed her eyes as an odd feeling of "déjà vu" crossed her mind. She closed her eyes and thought about the thing that hinted her the first time she heard this story from the merchant; the fact that she did not see but one giant in the slums of the capital.
[Merchant]" And it's not over! Right after that, the duchess Crusch Karsten appeared to help the wounded and the black swordsman, people say they knew each other since she went to help him right away, but after carrying the giant out he returned into the place, already crumbling down because of the fire spreading everywhere!"
[Rem]" That person must really be out of his mind to do something that reckless."
[Ram]" Yet, to be acquainted with the duchess herself, I believe he isn't just some mere commoner living in the slums…"
[Rem]" I agree, but why would he jump into the fire again? Was there someone else to be saved?"
[Merchant]" There was actually, the owner himself! But when they were still inside, the front door crumbled down, leaving them trapped inside! So, the black swordsman broke down the tavern's walls with his bare hands, still carrying the owner, to go out before everything went out in smoke!"
[Rem]" I find it hard to believe, that a human might have enough strength to break down a wall bare handed…"
Ram simply scoffed at the seemingly overexaggerated events by the people who passed the story.
[Merchant]" I'm more surprised by the image of it all! It is hard to believe that a nobleman would go to such lengths for mere slums people! Add to that the duchess herself, it's truly heroic!"
[Petra]" He had to be an idiot to risk his life like this, but that is still heroic!"
The twins and the merchant turned to the little girl standing behind them, wearing cute clothing with a ribbon on her head, who had been listening to the entire story.
[Petra]" Hello, Rem-san, Ram-san!"
Rem smiled to the little girl while Ram simply nodded her head to her.
[Rem]" Petra-chan, those are some very cute clothes, I see you've been working hard!"
Petra smiled sheepishly at the maid, rubbing the back of her head. She could not help but to feel excited when someone complimented her work.
'Hehe, I might have to work even more in the future, so I have to train properly! Though, I can't tell them that or they'll see me as a traitor living in their Lords territory.'
Rem turned to her older sister, who seemed lost in her thoughts as she gazed to the ribbon on the little girl's head. Obviously, Rem was in total admiration at her sister gracious figure, with an unmatched elegance when she was in her deep thoughts.
Petra looked at her curiously and tilted her head a little to show her interest in the reason why the pink haired oni was staring at her like this.
[Ram]" It is hard to believe that a nobleman would go to such lengths…"
Both Rem and Petra looked to one another, wondering why big sister would mumble those words again, though, their interest was picked now.
When she finished thinking about the theory building in her mind, Ram lifted her head and looked to the merchant.
[Ram]" Say, is there any description of that black swordsman?"
The merchant, Rem and Petra looked at Ram with bewildered expressions, as they were surprised by that sudden question, especially coming from her. Yet she seemed pretty insistent to have her answer, as her famous strong gaze found it's way on her face and wouldn't let go of the man.
[Merchant]" It is true that he was described to be quite unusual…No one really got to see him close as he went away with the giant right after having a talk with the duchess, but I think people described him with dark, black hair…"
Rem and Petra's eye's narrowed a bit.
[Merchant]" Quite tall, with a black outfit…More a costume actually."
Rem and Petra's eyes started to wide.
[Merchant]" Oh! People said he had mean looking eyes!"
Rem and Petra's eyes widened in horror as their mouth feel stupidly, while Ram heavily sighed with a hand on her forehead. Stupid Barusu.
[Ram]" It's him…"
[Rem]" I can't believe it…
[Petra]" Why didn't I realize it earlier?! Who else could be that stupid!"
The merchant looked at them with a surprised expression as their reaction seemed to conclude something. He realized the reason himself and slammed the desk on his stall with a large grin.
[Merchant]"W-wait you know him?! You know the black swordsman?!"
All three girls simply sighed in exasperation at the merchant quite oblivious question and ignored it, leaving him frustrated to not know more about it. The twins took their supplies and saluted the clearly worried Petra and the villagers before taking their leave and returning to the mansion.
On the road back, the twins who had usually a perfect synchronization when it came to their walking, seemed to be disturbed as one of them was walking slower than the other. Noticing her little sister's haste, Ram decided despite breaking her elegant gait, to speed up her steps to catch her and know the answers behind her sin to let her adored big sister tire herself.
[Ram]" You seem troubled, Re-"
[Rem]" I am! How could that silly dummy do something so reckless sister?! What if he would have died in there?! He never thinks about the others and always jumps right in the fray! All that to save the lives of people he doesn't even know!"
Although surprised by the sudden outburst of her cute sissy, Ram kept her expressionless and cold face as she processed everything that just been told to her.
[Ram]" I suppose he doesn't think before acting, that's a very stupid behavior akin to a airhead person like him after all."
[Rem]" I know right! He really is just so, so stupid!"
Ram glanced to her sister on the side and snorted with a small smile.
[Ram]" You know, you would be more convincing in your berating if you wouldn't be smiling, Rem."
[Felix]" Well if it wasn't an interesting outing today nya! I suppose you don't regret taking a break from your work now don't you, Crusch-sama?"
In a dragon carriage leading to the upper district of the capital, the green haired duchess and her servant were both seated in front of one another, one admiring the beauty of her military dressed lady while the other was carefully gazing at the capital buildings with her white gloved hand delicately posed under her chin.
[Crusch]" I wasn't expecting to live such events today, but it surely was a relief to know no one were harmed."
[Felix]" Well, in Ferri's opinion, I wouldn't have minded much if certain people wouldn't have made it."
Crusch nodded and closed her stern eyes while processing her thoughts for a moment. As crude the words of her servant were, she couldn't deny them to be true and that's what troubled her.
In the eyes of the duchess, one who would gladly commit such crimes without second thoughts wouldn't deserve a right to breath. And truth be told, she firmly believed her way of thinking on that matter to be common to most of the people.
Yet, that boy…He knew. He knew the truth, he knew this vile man's actions towards his own friend who was dear enough for him to risk his life but he faced the flames once again to save him, hurting his own health to give him a chance to live despite his heinous crimes.
There was only one question that was burning her lips and made her rethink about this over and over, as she couldn't forget the sight of the smiling man who fearlessly stepped into the fire before her and so much people's eyes.
Only one question before this image of either incredible foolishness or unmatched bravery.
[Crusch]" Why?"
Felix twitched her ears and titled her head at the clear interesting sight her mistress was giving. She was curious to know what could be crossing the mind of the beautiful woman who was crossing her legs for the 4th time during this ride. Felix knew her master better than anyone else, so Felix knew the duchess was in deep, serious thoughts right now.
[Felix" Are you thinking about the young fool, Crusch-sama?"
Crusch suddenly lifted her head, showing her alarmed amber eyes at the cheerfully speaking catgirl with a lifted hand in the air.
[Felix]" Hehe, I can see through you as clear as the day my lady! Though, I must say it's been a long while since I've seen you so focused on your thinking. Could it be that your sharp, powerful mind cannot pierce through his unique behavior?"
Crusch looked at her servant eyes widened, before closing them with a warm smile and a faint sigh. She let her hand down on her thigh and looked at her with a fake defeated look.
[Crusch]" Truly, I cannot hide anything from you."
She let go of her moment of softness and resumed her thoughts with her stern eyes aimed, this time, towards the royal castle positioned on top of the hill towering over the capital.
[Crusch]" Way too goodhearted for that kingdom of ours…"
Her shiny amber jewels softened as she remembered the smile he gave to her before acting so recklessly. Without her realizing it, he was already occupying every corner of her mind, he simply was a mystery. A mystery so interesting that she couldn't help wanting to know more about it. To know more about this fool who appeared from nowhere and managed to impress her in literally less than an hour.
[Crusch]" Who are you…Natsuki Subaru?"
[Felix]" Crusch-sama?"
Once more, the duchess raised her eyes towards the voice calling her, to see her servant opening the door of the carriage as it was parked before a gate with a Lion crest displayed on it.
[Felix]" We have arrived…"
[Crusch]" Ah, forgive me. It seems I was truly lost in my thoughts."
She got up and carefully stepped out of the carriage, walking confidently to the front gate, whom the doors opened to a tall and strong built old man wearing a butler suit.
[Whilelm]" Welcome back, Crusch-sama, Felix-dono, I hope you appreciated your break."
Crusch nodded her head to her butler.
[Crusch]" Yes…It was truly an appreciable outing."
Whilelm stood aside the catgirl as both looked at their lady walking upstairs to join her study room where the rest of her work awaited her. He narrowed his eyes a bit before turning to the smiling catgirl at his side.
[Whilelm]" It is quite unusual to see our master in such a mood."
[Felix]" I know, right?"
After sharing their thoughts, both servants nodded to each other and directed themselves to their own duties, thinking again about their mistress who walked towards her room, with a confident and beautiful smile.
"Well you talk about a shitty day!"
Seated behind a stall of the market street in the capital, 3 men were seated around a table, each with a glass in hand, wearing the same tired faces and still in shock from the events they had just experienced. Each of them still didn't seem to have realized what had just happened and yet their clothes stinking of smoke and sweat proved that it was by no means a dream.
"It happened so fast, I didn't even have time to start my drink ..." Said the first, taking care to enjoy his alcohol this time.
"But who started the fire?" the second asked, as he played with his empty glass.
"The guards are investigating for now." Answered the third, in a somewhat stern tone, which could be understood as a hint of anger. He stared at his still full glass in his two ash-covered hands, after he had done everything he could to put out the fire and take care of the wounded with the help of the Duchess and her servant.
"Besides, I'm surprised you didn't go help them, isn't that your area of expertise, Risch?" retorqued the first man.
He gave his interlocutor a bored look before finally taking a sip of his drink.
"Well then! You make one of those faces! Nobody got hurt, you should be more reassured than that right?"
The 3 men turned to meet the figure of a tall, well-built man, with green hair and a scar on his face.
"Kadomon ... Have you already closed your shop?"
He took a seat around the table to join the group, making sure to pour himself a drink.
"My wonderful wife is taking over for now, giving me a well-deserved little break." He said while taking a sip.
He then collapsed into his chair, taking this moment to relax. Honestly, he was the only one with the power to smile in this little group.
"As I said, you are alive. Stop making faces and enjoying your drink, be thankful that I do you the honor of sharing one of my personal bottles!"
"It's easy for you to throw something like that! You weren't there! It was a mess with no name and ... well, I liked this tavern!" replied the second man, quite upset.
"It was worse than you thought. There really wasn't a name to describe it." replied the combatant severely.
Kadomon raised an eyebrow as he looked at him. Rare were the times he heard him take on such a tone of voice. Gradually he rose from his seat and leaned over the table, making it clear that he was ready to learn more.
"You don't need to talk about it, do you?" The second asked with an air of pity. He really didn't want to hear or rehash this story again.
The bruised and exasperated faces of his companions led him to be more and more curious about this situation. He had only heard that a tavern had burned down, why did they look so ... defeated?
"Ok, I would appreciate it if someone could clear me up a bit there!"
2 of the 3 men looked away to avoid having to answer this question. Seeing only one possibility left, Kadomon turned to the combatant, still fixing the slight vibrations that the carriages passing through the streets were making on the liquid in his glass.
He finally sighed and looked to Kadomon, then explained to him what the reason behind their words and pain was.
Unable to close his jaw after what he had just heard, the appa seller could only wince as he held his forehead with one hand, trying to think about whatever reasons would justify that. He found none.
"What is this mess..."
2 of his companions could only agree to this comment, while one of them snorted and had a look of contempt. Kadomon and the combatant immediately understood why.
"Really? Are you okay with that?" growled the combatant.
"Ah! It would be more up to me to ask this question! We agree that the old man was half-human right? Let's remember a little about our kingdom and its situation and-"
"It was a whole different time, hell you weren't even born in that war, why are you opening it?" retorted the combatant.
"I might not have been there but I felt the repercussions! Those bastards are the reason our districts are so fucked up!"
"What the fuck is tha-"
"Enough!"
The combatant and his interlocutor were stopped by Kadomon, fixing the two men with a cold and severe gaze.
"My daughter is right behind us in the stall, don't you think it would be inappropriate for her to hear those kinds of words?" He said to the combatant, who nodded and sat back in his chair with an apologetic face.
"And you." He turned to the other man.
Maybe he was just a simple merchant, but he was big enough to turn any person he would look at like this to pale. The man felt the almost threatening aura, which emanated from the appa seller and frowned uneasily, showing his fear. Kadomon ended up pointing his finger in the opposite direction.
"Get out of my sight. And don't ever come back here again."
Without any chances to argue back in front of the three men looking at him with either a disgusted or cold stare, he simply got up from his chair, cursing them underneath his breath as he walked away.
"Well, I didn't know you were a defender of non-humans ..." asks the last man sitting, visibly tired of this whole situation and the consequences it has produced.
"I am not especially." the seller replied calmly.
"But I won't tolerate anybody justifying that kind of cruelty. Not in front of my eyes, not behind my stall."
The combatant looked at him with a slight smile, he really appreciated that some people supported an ideal of peace in these streets. Especially him.
Suddenly, a little girl with green hair opened the back door of the stall, wiping her somewhat wet forehead with her sleeve.
"Dad! I'm done storing the ..."
Her eyes opened in surprise and joy when she saw the combatant sitting next to her father.
"Uncle!"
She ran to throw herself into his arms, as he caught her mid-air with a smile as wide as hers.
"Plum! How are you princess?"
He ended up holding her close to his chest with his left forearm, to be face to face with his niece.
"I'm fine! I finished filling up the new stocks with mom! I did it on my own!"
He kissed her on the forehead with a proud smile, avoiding touching her face with his hands, noticing that he had already smudged her pink dress somewhat with the remains of ash covering his fingers. He met the gaze of his brother who, with an equally proud smile, winked at him showing there were nothing to worry about.
"Aaaargh look at this! Already so hardworking at her age, she becomes a lady much too quickly, don't you think ?!"
Kadomon, his brother, and the man all laughed heartily as Plum held her head up high, showing her pride with a smug at the compliment she was awarded.
He finally sat down, while holding her in his arms.
"But tell me…" Kadomon resumed, looking at his younger brother curiously.
"How did the situation turn out? I understood your story correctly, but I don't remember hearing you say that old Rom had perished..."
At this the combatant smiled warmly, with a proud expression as he recalled how the situation had ended. Plum tilted her head to her uncle, showing her curiosity.
He ended up reopening his eyes with a fond sigh, still with his smile.
"You would never believe me..."
[Rom]" I already told ya everythin 'I know about this all! Let me go now, the boy needs rest!"
In a place vaguely reminiscent of an interrogation room, two men in armor stood around a table, while an old giant stood on the other side.
[Guard] "We understand your haste, but the boy has already been treated and examined again by us. He will live, for now we need to understand what has happened there and you are a main victim from what we have heard."
The old giant clicked his tongue in exasperation as he was held here not knowing where Subaru was, to answer questions he had no doubt already answered.
[Rom] "I already told ya everything there were to know for the god's sake! I can tell ya; when the redhead will know about this and how you didn't let him go back to a proper place, he won't take it good. "
The two guards glanced at each other, trying to understand what he had just said. To their knowledge, there was only one person with a hair color unique to what they had just heard, but there was really no way that a half hum-
[?]"Let me through! Let me through or I'll kick your damned ass!"
Everyone in the room turned to the exit door under the cries of a female voice outside.
The two guards looked at each other briefly, trying to figure out what that might mean as Rom sighed tiredly, he recognized that voice right away.
The door smashed open, showing a young girl with golden hair and ruby eyes with almost tears in her eyes, wearing an outfit much more refined than her old torn clothes followed by a young man with red hair, with an expression just as sad and worried.
When he saw him, the two guards stood up out of respect.
[Felt] "Old Rom!"
Felt jumped over to the old man to hug him, her breath cutting at times from her crying. She had just heard her grandfather's story from the guards outside and couldn't imagine what she would have done if he hadn't survived.
She pulled back to look at him whole and saw his multiple bandages on his arms, hands and stomach and frowned in rage.
[Felt] "Who did this! Who the hell dared to do that?! I will kill him! I will kill him and everything he cares about!"
Rom began to stroke the head of his protege to reassure her a little. The poor child was shaking with rage and fear, she couldn't hold back her tears thinking about this whole situation. Rom turned to the young knight who observed the situation with a guilty air.
[Rom] "You took ya're time Astrea. I thought I was about to perish here under a rainstorm of useless questions. Did you find the boy?"
Reinhard felt the fear come over him when he heard this question, he didn't understand what it meant. Admittedly he was worried not to know where Subaru was, but he thought that Rom had the answer to this question.
Felt gave her old man an alarmed look as she turned to Reinhard, completely lost.
Rom then realized that they only knew a part of the story and turned to the two guards, still confused by the whole situation.
[Guard] "H-he is at the barracks Sword Saint-sama! We put him on a bed since he was unconscious after examining him, the time to question the giant about the situation ..."
Reinhard felt his breathing stop on its own for a short moemnt when he heard those words. Why would Subaru need to get checked out? Why would he be unconscious?
The hands of the sword saint began to tremble as his eyes screamed the fear he felt, as his heart couldn't stop beating, causing a gasping breath.
He then hurried to run towards the barracks with this heavy feeling of pain from which he could not escape, praying to the dragon with all his soul.
Each of his steps added weight to his heart, as he slowly approached one of his greatest fears.
As he approached something he couldn't stand.
Something he couldn't see.
His failure.
The barracks door opened, giving way to a room partially cleared by the sunlight coming through the window in front of him, revealing the face of a young man whom the the sword saint recognized immediately.
Lying on a bed with a few bandages on his arms, falling into a deep sleep after being exhausted by his previous actions.
The sword saint was feeling dizzy, he had to grab the side of the door on his right to not collapse from the sight that was torturing him ...
Reinhard wanted to approach... But he did not feel able to. As an unbearable feeling had paralyzed his legs, as questions and thoughts were storming his mind.
Why? Why was he so pathetic? How can he call himself a knight if he is not even able to prevent his master to whom he has sworn his loyalty from suffering like this?
He gritted his teeth, with a frown so large it wasted the charm of his good-looking face right away, as he was disgusted.
Disgusted by himself from the sins he couldn't stop committing.
When the caught up to him, Felt immediately ran to the side of Subaru as soon as she saw him lying on the bed, wondering what it was about. Her breath hitched when she saw he had bandages too.
[Felt] "Big bro!"
Reinhard stood there, watching the princess of the late royal family shaking his master to wake him up with a desperate face, with tears dropping on his torso. He truly couldn't do anything. He truly was useless.
Suddenly, a hand fell on his shoulder. A large and strong hand, the one of a giant.
[Rom] " You okay, Astrea?"
Reinhard didn't turn to face him as he couldn't take his gaze away from the reminiscence of his failure.
[Reinhard] "I…I am fine…"
He couldn't answer anything else. He was a hero, a hero can't show his weak-
[Rom] "Then why are there tears in yours eyes?"
Reinhard stopped breathing as he finally noticed the image he had in front of him was blurry. He quickly put a hand on his eyes to wipe them as he couldn't show himself like that, he didn't have the right to.
[Rom] " Astrea…"
[Felt] "Reinhard…?"
Felt joined the discussion as she noticed the face Reinhard was making. She wanted to reassure him too, she wanted to tell him everything was okay, but she was upset.
She was upset because for all the time they were here, Reinhard didn't come near Subaru one bit.
[Felt] "Why are you standing there?!"
[Reinhard] "I-I can't…"
[Felt] "Why?!"
[Reinhard] "Because I failed him…"
[Felt] "What are you talking about! He is here! He is alive!"
Felt yelled, facing the sword saint with tears in her eyes.
[Rom] " Enough! Both of ya!"
Felt and Reinhard turned to the angry old man standing between them with a large frown.
[Rom] "If ya wanna argue, do it elsewhere! Let the wounded rest."
Both the sword saint and the little princess looked to each other with a pitiful face as they were realizing what they were doing was disrespectful. The room grew silent as the only thing that could be heard were Felt's sniffles.
Reinhard finally took the courage to enter the room and come to his master's side. Seeing him in that state was truly wounding his heart…Because he was a man he was supposed to protect.
Because he was his friend.
His only friend.
Reinhard turned to Rom as he wanted to ask a question, but Rom already knew what it was. Felt turned her tearful eyes to her grandfather as she was seeing him smile warmly.
Both the princess and the sword saint were confused. Why would he smile like that?
[Rom] "All right kids."
He looked at the both of them with a smile overflowing with proudness and…gratefulness towards the boy.
[Rom] "Let me tell ya an heroic story."
Felt cried. She just cried. Tears wouldn't stop flowing out of her eyes as she was hugging Subaru as close to her that she could, making his bandages useless as they were completely drenched.
The story was about to break her, she could still feel the fear that was in her when it started. But now, she was happy. Happy and thankful. There were no other words. Thankful towards the one who braved the flames to save one of the dearest persons in her life. One of them.
[Felt] "Thank you…Thank you…Big bro…" She whispered between her sobs.
Reinhard couldn't believe what he just heard. He felt like his heart was about to explode while hearing this story…The fear couldn't leave him as he thought again and again of his master that could have died in the flames, all of this to save someone who shouldn't mean so much for him.
It was unwelcome for a knight to think about this since it would have been his duty to do so, but it was the truth. Or at the very least it was supposed to be, for anyone else.
Subaru was different. He knew that, that's why he couldn't stop smiling, as he held a hand on his eyes, shaking his head tiredly.
[Reinhard] " Why would he…"
[Rom] "You already know the answer to that, don't you?"
Reinhard raised his head to meet Rom's soft gaze. Both smiled to each other before turning their eyes towards the answer.
Because he is Subaru, that's why.
As I said, just a bonus. I'm currently working on the real chapter 8, but I thought maybe seeing what happened from different perspectives would be good to justify the behaviors of the next chapter.
I didn't do Emilia's reaction because it will come later. I didn't do the barman's because it's in the next one.
Ah yes, for the combatant. Changed my mind, he is an OC now.
Now that my exams are over I should be able to update more often, I will find a way to inform you if anything happens anyway, don't worry.
I really appreciate you guys, all of you. But please don't start hate wars in the review sections, this ain't Mohamedasemabas's one.
That being said, I hope you appreciated and see you back at chapter 8!
Q: Were you serious about the Doom crossover?
A: YES.
Q:From what do you inspire yourself when writing the scenes?
A: With music, witcher soundstracks for battles scenes for example.
Q:Will you really add Crusch in the harem?
A: I will. Crusch is a top tier waifu and I always shipped her with Subaru. They look freaking good together, you won't change my mind about that. I read EX1 and I prefer her with Subaru than Fourier too.
Q: What about a To Aru majutsu no index crossover?
A: That would be good, but it's complicated. I'm not perfectly versed in this universe to do this.
Q: When is the romance coming?!
A: J-just give me time! This is only the beginning damn it!
Q: Will you do bigger chapters?
A: Well since a lot of people actually appreciated the last one since it was longer, I'm planning on trying to do longers one from now on.
Q: Will you add Felt?
A: No.
Q: How strong are you planning to make Subaru with the sword?
A: I would say...Slightly weaker than Whilelm. Like he could hold a fight against him but would ultimately lose.
