Luffy had black tape wrapped around his horns, not really changing their appearance. He cut his arm with his claw, but no light showed through when he healed. He smiled, satisfied. He turned the bathroom light off. He popped his neck and went downstairs for breakfast, checking the mail again for his letter, since it had been a week exactly since the entrance exam.

He found one that he didn't really think of before seeing who it was from. It was clunky. He took it and bolted to the elevator and to the penthouse he still lived in, ripping it open to find a hologram disk that played immediately.

It was All Might congratulating him. He got in! And there was the scoreboard! He had to win, he had to! And he did. He was number one, with 167 points. Zoro was 159 and Sanji was third, with 150. Bakugo was at 77 points. Luffy burst into laughter. He'd be furious! Well, he was always destined to fall behind. But he was probably stronger now, like they were. Just not as strong as they were.

All three of them got in! Then he looked at the rest of the list. Midoriya… had 60 points. All rescue points, which the trio had none of. How did Midoriya get in? Had a quirk developed super late? Well, he was glad the guy got into his dream school, even if he was quirkless. It was amazing, and Luffy couldn't wait to see him and congratulate him.

He saw Kirishima and Kaminari had made it, too. Looked like he'd left enough for all of them to have. Hopefully nobody hated the trio for taking most of the bots themselves. Well, in their respective rings. He saw Nami and Vivi there, too! He was so happy for them! He searched down the list some more and saw that Usopp had made it, despite how much of a scaredy cat he was.

Luffy was honestly happy to see people who weren't prodigies make it. It was refreshing, knowing you didn't need to be completely over the top to make it into the prestigious school. He texted Zoro and Sanji about it, and they had a very excited conversation, talking about the people who made it, how awesome it was that they got the top spots. Well, that's what you get when you train almost everyday for three years.

The demon might not count, he'd always been strong. He wondered if he should pretend that his tail was his only power. But, he also had his wings. And his healing, but that could be less noticeable with his covering his horns. As long as he was careful not to get visibly hurt, cut or burned, then he should be fine. Same with Zoro and Sanji.

He was so excited for school to start. He ended up texting Midoriya, still having his number from sixth grade. He didn't know if his phone was the same, but it ended up being since he messaged him back.

Luffy, it's nice to talk to you again! I'm so excited to see you and Zoro and Sanji. Hopefully we get the same teacher.

I hope so, too. Same with Nami and Vivi. But hopefully not Bakugo. So how on earth did you make it with no quirk? It took awhile for a response, but Luffy was patient. If Midoriya lied, it was none of his business. They weren't close friends. Besides, Luffy'd lied about his powers his whole life.

It developed very late. Don't know why, and I can't control it at all. Hopefully UA helps me learn control. I can't wait to be taught by All Might. Luffy wasn't the least bit surprised. He'd always been an All Might superfan. Through the years, that never changed.

Luffy sent back a shrugging emoji. It would be funny if he was terrible at it. He's never been a teacher before, right? Only a hero. Luffy expected the message he got next to be in defense of the pro-hero. The number one hero, one slot above Whitebeard and two slots above Hawks.

Marco knew Hawks personally, but had never talked about Luffy with him. Well, Hawks would know about him with the sports festival. It wasn't as if Luffy could hide his wings when he wanted. He wondered about going to his agency if he was offered. He'd lived with the Whitebeards, getting a change of pace could be fun. He wondered if Hawks would sense something off like Marco.

None of the other Whitebeards sensed Luffy being something other than human. Was it because Marco was a mythical bird, or just because he was an animal? It wasn't like animals were afraid of him, though. He never had a problem with them. Sometimes he would go on flights with birds. Geese were fun to annoy because then they'd chase you angrily and that was just the best.

I'm sure he'll be great! Maybe he'll be rusty at the beginning, but it's All Might!

Luffy was 100% not surprised by this reply. He said he looked forward to seeing Midoriya again after summer was over. They could all show the fruits of their labor. He mentioned that over the last three years, he and Zoro and Sanji had trained their asses off to be the best.

The monster trio reborn. Luffy burst into laughter, and said he loved that. Midoriya sent a thumbs up back at him. Even over text, he seemed more confident. Maybe it was only because it was over text, but he hoped that wasn't the case and that Midoriya grew into himself, whether his new quirk was out of control or not.

He did wonder what it was, though. Well, he was sure he'd see soon.

Over the next couple of weeks, he had so much fun with Zoro and Sanji and his brothers. They went to the beach again, but didn't catch anything and just had fun swimming. They trained on the beach, too. Attacking one another and falling into the sand, getting it in their mouths, but luckily not their eyes.

The three of them had sent their design for the costumes in, but didn't show one another, wanting it to be a surprise. Luffy thought his was probably more complicated than theirs since he didn't have a completely normal body. He had the wings and a tail, not to mention the horns. Well, his body was probably normal for his own kind, wherever he came from that day. He wasn't sure.

-x-

Finally, the first day of high school came. He had his uniform on, specially made for his wings and tail. Well, the tail came right out of his spine, so it could hang out of his shirt like always. But the wings had to be made specially. Ripping holes in them wouldn't have looked good, and probably wouldn't have been allowed. He wasn't sure,

He had tape around his horns, and his sling backpack. It didn't seem like it would fit everything, but he'd see. If necessary, he'd wear a backpack backwards, no matter how stupid it looked. Luffy knew he was in the same class as Zoro and Sanji, which was so lucky, even though there were only two classes that would accept them.

UA wasn't only for the hero course, there were other hero related courses and the general studies one. So it wasn't only a school for heroes. Just the parts Lufy would be in. He got some french toast on his way out, taking the lunch box Thatch had made him. There were probably some "cute" things inside, but as long as the food was good, he didn't really care.

He flew there quickly, not needing to waste any time or money on biking or having someone drive him. He landed lightly on the steps and hurried inside, not having planned to stay and wait for his best friends. They might already be there. He found the class with the map and opened the massive door. It was wide enough for him to fit through. He saw Zoro and Sanji sitting in the back, Zoro napping, of course, and Sanji talking with Nami.

Luffy sat next to Zoro, putting his things down and greeting Midoriya, who was sitting in the middle near the window. "Wow, you changed a lot in three years!" the freckled teen said. Luffy asked what he meant. "Your wings are bigger and your horns longer."

"Oh. Growth spurt, I guess. I'm happy to see you again. And I'm really happy you made it to UA," Luffy said with a grin, making Midorya smile bashfully.

"Oi, Luffy!" Kirishima said, Kaminari there and with Usopp sitting at the front, looking awkward. He was never very good with meeting new people. At least he knew Nami. Vivi wasn't in the same class, sadly. "You barely left us any damn bots!"

Luffy grinned and apologized. "I left fifty. I just took all of the ones further in. And the big one, but the big one didn't really matter. I was bored by then."

"Subtle flex," Kaminari said. Luffy said he wasn't trying to. "Dude, I'm joking. You, Zoro and Sanji made the top places. You planned that, huh? They said they're your best friends." Luffy nodded, saying they trained really hard. For three years. "Like, quirk training?"

Zoro was awake, apparently. "Fighting with and without quirks. Getting fitter. Luffy lives in a place with a training room, so we use that." A guy with a tail that was much thicker and looked much more troublesome asked if he was rich or something. Luffy smiled and told the truth.

"No, I live at the Whitebeard agency. They have pretty much anything you'd want there. They raised me and my two brothers," he explained. There was no real reason to hide it, and it would have come out eventually. Better to be open.

Nami gushed that Thatch's food was the best food she'd ever had. "Zoro caught a shark but it ended up tasting like shit in any way he made it. First time I've ever tasted Thatch's food and thought it was disgusting," Sanji said. Nami laughed and asked why they would go shark hunting.

Zoro grumbled, "Thing tried to attack me, so I skewered it."

Everyone was still shocked by Luffy living with the Whitebeards. A boy with purple balls on his head asked if he met the Whitebeard. Luffy laughed and said they all called him Pops. "I used to call him Grandpops when I was little, but now it's just Pops. He treats us all like his sons, so we call him that."

A girl with an excited ponytail said, "It is well known that Whitebeard is very familiar with his workers." Luffy nodded, saying it was very true. "Why do you live with them? I don't mean to be forward." Another teen was watching him in interest. With white and red hair. It looked cool, and he had a very bad scar or burn on half of his face.

"It's fine. Marco found me abandoned as a baby and decided to keep me. Probably because of my strange appearance," Luffy said, addressing his appearance and letting everyone all know he knew he looked strange.

The other tail guy said he thought he looked really cool. Luffy laughed and said Zoro said that when they met in kindergarten. "Wow, so you guys have been friends for awhile." The three nodded. Then Bakugo came in, glaring daggers at the trio and Midoriya. Luffy didn't pay attention to him, as the trio all knew he'd be angry about being outshined in the entrance exam.

Then the teacher walked in. He was Ace and Sabo's teacher, Aizawa. Eraser Head. Aizawa-sensei, to the students. The one he had to be careful around. Who could easily find that Luffy didn't have a quirk, segwaying into knowing he wasn't human. After all, if he had no quirk, there was no reason for him to look the way he did. He'd be careful.

Everyone was sitting, Sanji making gooey eyes at Nami's back. "Hey, I'm Aizawa Shota. I'll be your homeroom teacher from now on. I know it's sudden, but put these on," he said, and held up their gym clothes. Luffy shared a look with his friends who both shrugged and they all went to change.

Luffy went into the changing stall of the room where the kids apparently changed clothes, one for the girls and one for the boys. There were a few curtainined stalls. Luffy ended up asking Zoro for help putting it on. He didn't want to change in front of the others due to paranoia about his marks being seen. The other two did this as well, since they shared the marks with Luffy.

They would just be more added questions about why Luffy looked the way he did. Zoro snapped the top around his wings and they both exited the booth and changing room. "So it's hard to get your clothes on alone?" Sero asked, a guy with strange things on his elbows. Probably due to his quirk, whatever it was. Luffy nodded.

Nami said she remembered during a halloween march once, Luffy's costume came undone and left him crying until Zoro went up and helped him fix it. "That wasn't a necessary story to tell," Luffy said, making Nami say, "I know," all innocently.

Mineta, the ball kid, was making creepy looks at Nami's butt, and Sanji kicked him away. "Don't make a move on Nami-san, perv," Sanji said darkly. Zoro pointed out that Sanji would flirt with Nami. "Yes, but she's used to me doing it. And I have gotten stronger and taller over the past three years."

Nami said, "And hornier, it seems," in a light voice. Sanji's face went bright red and Zoro started laughing, getting a shove. Luffy shook his head. "It is nice to see familiar faces. You three and Usopp. And Midoriya-kun, too. And Bakugo, I guess, but it's not exactly nice to see him again."

"Shut up!" Bakugo shouted from in front of the crowd of students.

Nami sighed, "And he proves my point. I can't say I'm surprised that you three exercise junkies were at the top. Overachievers. Though you do seem stronger." She flipped her hair. "Though the same is said for me, too." Luffy sighed. Nami was always a bit conceited, but a good person nonetheless. Not conceited in the way Bakugo was. She was never cruel or put others down.

"Nami-san is so honest," Sanji said. Nami raised her brows, and Luffy knew Sanji and Mineta would hate each other from now on. Sanji was completely normal when pretty girls weren't around, but when they were, he was either blushing behind a wall like he was afraid to be seen, or openly flirting.

Tail guy, Ojiro, asked Luffy what his quirk was. After all, he had a tail and wings, two things that could have been different quirks. He gazed at his friends, sharing a conversation with them just be their eyes. It would get out eventually, it would be better not to be seen as a liar.

"I have telekinesis," he said bluntly. Everyone was confused. And looked at his tail, horns and wings. "Yeah, I look weird, but that's not my quirk. And… I can do this, too," he added, changing his hands into claws. He laughed and said, "My brothers like to call me a demon from all the weird traits I have."

The class was left a bit perplexed. Luffy said to not ask him how or why, as he didn't know, either. He was a great liar when it came to protecting his big secret. Otherwise, he was terrible at it. When they went out on the field, they went where the teacher was waiting. He really didn't seem like a happy guy. Nothing like their last year's homeroom teacher, who couldn't shut up and acted more like a friend than a teacher. But everyone had adored Shanks. It was sad to see him replaced by a sad-looking insomniac. Oh well, nothing they could do to change it.

They found out quite early, that Aizawa had no plans for them to have fun in his class. Luffy knew all of the things he said about heroes not having time for fun, or life as a hero being hell, he didn't know what the fuck he was talking about. Everyone at the Whitebeard agency joked and laughed while still doing their work perfectly.

While he talked, he noticed that Sanji and Zoro were wearing the same looks of disbelief. Aizawa said that, and asked them what their looks were about. The three of them floundered before Luffy responded, as he didn't look like he was going to let it go.

"It's just, I grew up in the Whitebeard agency and nobody thinks it's hell and they all joke around while still getting things done…" he rambled, not wanting to be on his radar from the very start. "We didn't mean anything by the looks, just kind of confused and surprised." Zoro and Sanji nodded along.

"Well, all agencies are different. The Whitebeards are known for being immature." Luffy gave him a death glare. He does not insult his family. "I don't mean it in an insulting way. They get work done and are known for being reliable and charismatic. I just know that there are members who goof off a lot."

"They do because they take in children a lot and find them homes. They can't have a dreary and dark presence for scared children," he countered. Aizawa said that that was true, and he didn't mean any disrespect to the Whitebeards. Luffy nodded, though he still didn't like his attitude. But Ace and Sabo never complained about him, so he shouldn't either.

Nami had experience with this, she was a scared and traumatized child, too. She had been with them for a bit and had seen how cheery and colorful they were. And she seemed to not like Aizawa's attitude either. Uh oh. But the teacher and pro-hero moved on, and told Luffy to come forward and throw the ball, using his quirk, too.

He wasn't going to fuck anything up. He wouldn't use his full strength, and threw the ball, only using his telekinesis to amplify it a bit. He froze when Aizawa told him to take this seriously. Luffy brought the ball back to him with his power and sighed, pumping his arm full of his full demon's strength, channeling it into a claw and threw it, catapulting it far, far further than the original.

He didn't make eye contact, quite disliking this teacher. He walked back to his place, and Nami bumped his shoulder, giving him a sympathetic look. "1,001 meters." They gasped and Luffy felt under a spot light. His face turned red, and it seemed like everyone noticed Luffy's demeanor and moved on.

The demon seemed embarrassed and shy about the attention, but he was just deeply concerned about having this homeroom teacher. If he was going to be exposed, he knew it would be by Aizawa now. He had to be very, very careful now.

Luffy was distracted and on autopilot as he did the rest of the exercises. He didn't feel worried about being expelled for being last, he knew that was a bunch of bullshit to scare all of them. The one dead last was Midoirya. Usopp was doing better than he was, and he had always been in the back of the class.

Over the last three years, it looked like Usopp changed a lot. He walked up to him and smiled. "You seem… different from the last time I saw you." Sanji and Zoro agreed, saying he seemed so much more confident. And not as skinny. Nami clapped him on the back.

"Usopp here got a girlfriend and it changed a lot. Kaya-chan… how is she doing?" Nami asked, though her voice wasn't mean. Usopp's face went red before he mumbled that she was good. And was in the general studies department. Luffy smiled, happy for him.

Zoro said, "Didn't you have a childhood friend named Kaya?" Usopp nodded as Sanji kicked Mineta in the face to get him to stop staring at Nami's butt. "Well, it's nice you grew out of your shell, huh?" Usopp nodded, smiling brightly.

Luffy already had four friends here he'd known before. It should be fine. He glanced at Aizawa, who wasn't looking at him. Zoro punched his shoulder and shook his head. "I know. I know, don't worry about it." Zoro was telling him worrying was pointless. But to be careful. Though Luffy had already given away too much information. Well, he wouldn't be hiding his known "quirk".

With his horns wrapped and being careful, nobody would know about the healing. And he wouldn't eat raw meat in front of other people. That was a given. He wasn't an animal. Or like demons in stories and movies where they are mindless and just eat people. Or maybe that was a ghoul.

He didn't know and didn't really care. After the other activities, it came back to the ball throw. Many threw the ball pretty far, Uraraka actually achieving infinity with her zero gravity power. So many people had such interesting quirks. But Midoriya's throw was obviously the most memorable, as he broke a finger while doing it and also punted it just a tiny bit further than Bakugo's throw.

He seemed to be taking the late developed quirk the hardest. The trio and Nami were happy for Midoriya, glad he finally could be the hero he wanted to be. As long as he fixed this and didn't break his bones every time. So, he was getting more attention than Luffy had been. Sanji and Zoro looked pretty shocked at the swollen and purple finger.

After all, neither of them had been hurt in years, thanks to Luffy's demon healing bond… thing. They shared a look with Luffy, all thinking the same thing. It's damn good that will never happen to me. After the tests were done, they went back to the classroom.

After making sure Aizawa wasn't following them as they headed to the classroom, Nami complained that the teacher seemed like a real party pooper. "Nami-san," Tsu, the frog girl, said. "Aizawa-sensei is the teacher."

"Am I not allowed to have opinions?" the redhead asked simply. Many of the others nodded in agreement.

"Nami-san is so honest~"

Luffy cheerfully said, "Maybe he didn't get enough sleep last night. He was in a sleeping bag, after all." He wanted to look on the bright side even though he really didn't feel safe around the man. Kirishima also acted positive, agreeing that today might have been a bad day.

"I hope so," the invisible girl, Hagakure, said. Ashido was a blessing to have in the class for Luffy. She also looked completely not human. Even more so than Luffy, probably. Her skin was pink, the white of her eyes were black and she had her own weird little horns.

But Luffy had to say he looked a lot cooler than she did. The other classes were simple and normal. Midnight had attracted Mineta's "attention". He was pretty disgusting with how he looked at and thought about the girl classmates. He was a young, unashamed pedophile. Sanji was flirty, he didn't think about groping asses at every moment.

So far, Mineta tied with Bakugo on Luffy's least favorite list. But then hero basics training came, which took up most of the afternoon. All Might was teaching it, and everybody besides the trio were excited to meet him. The three of them were on very familiar terms with Whitebeard. Even Sanji and Zoro got to talk to him. When the three of them were little, Whitebeard had told them stories. Luffy still didn't know if he'd made them up or not.

After lunch, they went back to the classroom to wait for All Might. Zoro napped in his seat, even though it was maybe a five minute wait before the pro-hero/teacher arrived, bursting through the door and announcing his presence. "I have arrived like a normal person!"

Zoro gave a look that definitely said, "That's not how normal people enter the room." Luffy snickered at it while everyone else was in awe of the number one hero. He was a lot smaller than Whitebeard, but his grin looked a lot more painful than the older hero's did.

The class buzzed about him and Luffy waited patiently for what would happen next. The man barely spoke before telling them to get in their hero outfits and meet him at ground beta. Their costumes came out of the wall, and they all scrambled to get their outfits. Luffy saw the one with his name and snaked his tail through the mass of bodies and got his briefcase that way before heading to the changing rooms.

He took off his clothes besides his underwear and tight shirt. It was an extra precaution. To have a latex shirt on, thin and light. Barely there. Todoroki came in and asked why the three had those on.

"I have scars I don't want anybody to see," Luffy said. The other two didn't respond. Some of the guys came in, with Zoro and Sanji.

"Dude, you guys are ripped," Kaminari pointed out. Luffy's face turned red and Zoro smirked. Sanji just snickered and they all got changed, Zoro helping Luffy out again. They finally saw one another's costumes. And Luffy wasn't surprised by their choices, to be honest. Zoro had a white, tight top and dark green pants with boots. Of course the pants weren't skin tight. Sanji's was what seemed like a fancy suit.

Luffy's was the only one that actually looked like a hero outfit. It was black besides Red gloves and boots. He had a light red visor that hooked to both horns, holding it in place. After all, flying at high speeds was best when wearing something to protect your eyes. And there was a hook on his belt that the visor could hang off of.

His tail poked out of a hole made just for it, allowing it the perfect room to move in any way. The whole suit was skin tight, so it showed how lean he was. But the boots were weird to some. It had holes in the toe areas. Mineta asked why that was there. Luffy showed claws coming from his toes. Not like toe nail claws, but the toes turned into the black blades.

The gloves had finger holes for the same reason. Everyone looked very different. It was pretty cool, seeing all these different outfits. Bakugo and Iida's were definitely the clunkiest. And Aoyama had armor on. Well, they didn't seem like hand to hand fighters like Luffy liked being. Fighting with his demon body was more fun than using his telekinetic power.

Luffy flew ahead of the class, unable to be patient enough to walk the whole way. He landed in front of All Might, and waited with him in silence until the pro-hero spoke. "How is Whitebeard-san? Haven't talked to him in awhile."

"He's doing well. Been busy lately. You have been, too. Still going on patrols and then becoming a teacher." All Might agreed with that. He was asked about Marco, and Luffy responded that he was doing good, too. "More collabs with Hawks. I think he wanted someone to fly with. Sometimes it's with me, but I can't go on missions with him. I've never actually met Hawks, though."

All Might nodded and then commented on Luffy's appearance. "I haven't seen someone with so many traits that actually fit together." Luffy laughed and said he looked like a demon. All Might laughed deeply, saying that could be said. Luffy was planting the idea that he would never openly admit to what he was. In case there were any suspicions. And he was putting it out there. He knew what he looked like. It was no secret, he wasn't able to hide his traits.

Eventually everyone got there, all lined up. The girls, multiple of them, wore very revealing outfits. He wasn't at all surprised with Nami's. She accentuated her body. Sanji kicked Mineta's face again. It seems that would be the normal. Usopp, funnily, wore overalls. His quirk had nothing to do with fighting directly, so it wasn't a big deal.

His quirk was to shoot substances out of his hands. Ash, smoke, tabasco, whatever he wanted, but it was very limited on how long he could use it and how much of the substances he could produce. If he had confidence on how to use it now, it could be a pretty useful quirk. Nami didn't look powerful, but she could create weather phenomena. Storms inside. Dangerous stuff like that.

All Might commented on how cool everybody looked. All looking so diverse. Luffy stood with Sanji and Zoro. He noticed Midoriya's costume resembled All Might and also looked cheaper quality. He wondered why, but didn't ask.

Iida seemed like an excited guy, and asked lots of questions, All Might pulling out a little notebook where he read off of. He was a first time teacher, it made sense he wasn't completely confident. They would be fighting, two on two. Luffy's face lit up, and he knew his best friends' faces did, too. They'd get to fight other students!

But Zoro couldn't go full out on them like he could against Luffy and Sanji. They were all buzzing with excitement. There was already a box ready with balls in them, names on each one. Luffy wondered who he'd be paired with. He ended up being with the other tail guy. They laughed about it. It was a funny coincidence. Zoro was paired with Todoroki and Sanji was with Yaoyorozu. Nami was paired with Bakugo. That would be interesting. Nami wouldn't take shit from him. Never had. So now there was to know who was against who.

Luffy and Ojiro were against Sero and Kirishima. That should be fun, both of them seemed like good guys. Zoro and Todoroki were against Tokoyami and Tsu. Sanji and Usopp were against Mineta and Sato. The fateful encounter of both woman lovers. Sanji would kick his ass. Midoriya was with Uraraka and against Nami and Bakugo. Luffy really wondered how that would go.

The demon's match was first, and they were both the heroes. They stood outside of the building, holding maps of the interior to find their way around. Luffy asked if Ojiro was a good fighter. "I like to think so," he replied honestly. "Based on your other strength and quirk, I'm not as strong as you."

"I'll try not to use my quirk and only my tail and hands," Luffy told him. Ojiro looked surprised. "I like fighting hand to hand much more than long distance. It's more thrilling to me. The quirk is just pretty much waving my hands around."

The other student nodded, saying he could understand that. All Might's voice echoed from somewhere, telling them the match had started. Luffy wanted to go after Kirishima. Ojiro said he'd get the bomb while Luffy fought off whichever was waiting for them. Ojiro ran up the steps and Luffy hurried after him. They would check each floor.

The first floor had nobody, but the second floor had Luffy hearing someone running down the hall. Luffy just barely grabbed Ojiro with his tail and pulled him away from where Kirishima punched a hole in the wall.

"Go on, Ojiro," Luffy said with a grin on. Kirishima's arms were hardened and Luffy got lower to the ground and striked. He slashed with his claws and slammed with his tail, being merciless. But his opponent didn't seem afraid or nervous, more like exhilarated. He punched hard into Luffy's gut, but Luffy grabbed his arm tightly and slammed his tail into his side, throwing him through a wall.

Kirishima jumped back out and was able to grab onto Luffy's hair and Luffy barely blocked a punch to the face. He grabbed Kirishima around the chest and bent his body impossibly backwards to slam his opponent into the ground, knocking him out.

Luffy was grinning and wiped the sweat off his face. He was glad he fought someone fun. Fun and unafraid even after seeing the power of Luffy's monstrous tail. He tied Kirishima up and then went running upstairs to where he heard fighting. Ojiro was covered from head to toe in tape. Luffy used his clawed fingers to slice through the tape and went to pin Sero to the ground with his tail on his chest, as if it weighed a ton of bricks that was keeping him there.

Ojiro hurried to the fake bomb. "Hero team wins!" All Might's voice boomed. Luffy hurried back down the stairs and untied Kirishima, waking him up.

"Hey, the match is over. You should go to the nurses' and see if you have a head injury," Luffy said, hoping that hadn't happened. Maybe he slammed him down too hard. Hopefully not. Kirishima rubbed his head but told Luffy he felt fine.

"I have strong bones. It would be hard to break them even without hardening," he felt the back of his head, and said it didn't hurt at all. With Luffy's face, he said, "I'll keep track of it, no need to worry, man." Luffy grinned and they gave high fives. "You're a skilled fighter. I guess that's what you get when you grow up with pro-heroes."

Luffy laughed and thanked him. "I can't wait to see everyone else fight," he said. Sero and Ojiro walked out with them and to the viewing station on the ground. They were complimented on their fighting, and Nami and Midoriya's match was next.

Almost immediately, they were all chuckling. "Follow my lead," Bakugo argued with Nami. She pulled his ear, hard.

"You don't give me lip. Got that? You can boss around everyone else if you want, but I won't tolerate it. Understand? I asked do you understand?" Nami asked in a strong and determined voice, not intimidated by Bakugo one bit. Even when he gave crazed and angry face. She just stared back at him with her hands on her hips.

Bakugo seemed to realize he would be unable to scare Nami, and just told her it was best for her to be the guard. "Good. That's how you should talk to me," Nami said simply and walked up the stairs. It was hilarious, and the girls were in awe while the guys were laughing.

"Nami-san is so assertive," Sanji said in a proud and amazed voice. He kicked Mineta when he drooled over her. Then they turned back to the match, where Nami had built a snowmountian around the bomb, a cloud producing it. She had sleet on the ground at the doorway. Below the fight, Midoriya and Bakugo were going all out, Bakugo being needlessly cruel.

But they did have a bad childhood. For some reason, Bakugo had always been mean to Midoriya but the smaller personally thought Bakugo was amazing and still wanted to be his friend. It had never made sense to Luffy. But it was looking really bad for Midoriya, and people started telling All Might to end the match. He didn't.

Nami was beating Uraraka as well, who was slipping in the sleet and rain that covered the ground. Plus the heavy winds ripping around the room. If she used zero gravity, she'd still be blown away. But then Midoriya used his trump card and punched upwards, creating a huge draft that surprised Nami and the other girl took advantage of that moment and touched the bomb, her team winning.

Bakugo looked crazed, and Midoriya was taken to the nurses to fix his broken arm and burns. The explosive boy, in multiple ways, was not having a good time. Was he angry about Midoirya getting a quirk all of the sudden? Based on what he'd seen of elementary school, Bakugo made fun of the other being quirkless all the time.

Well, nobody else was upset about it, but happy for him. It just really showed the clear difference in their relationships with Midoriya. Hopefully he'd get control over that quirk soon. He can't be very useful if he keeps breaking bones while using it.

Ashido came over after the three besides Midoriya came back, asking why he didn't use his quirk at all. "Fighting hand to hand is way more fun for me. I think my quirk is boring. All I do is wave my hands around and throw things. It's good for pranks, but I usually don't use it," he explained, loud enough for everyone else to hear.

"So you won't use your telekinesis at all?" Luffy said he wasn't sure. He was fine at it, just thought it was boring. Some looked at him in envy, but he didn't really care much. He knew his telekinetic powers could be cool, but he honestly didn't use them much. Unless he was sometimes in bed and didn't feel like getting up to get something.

But that wasn't during fighting, so it didn't count to him. Next was Zoro and Todoroki against Tsu and Tokoyami. At the beginning, Todoroki tried to do the whole thing himself by freezing the whole building. Zoro grabbed his arm. "No, I don't think so," he said sternly, seeming to surprise Todoroki.

Zoro closed his eyes, using his good senses, and then sliced the building in half with a wave coming off of his sword arm, exposing the two with the bomb. Tsu was shocked. They were both shocked and Todoroki used that look to reach up his ice and touch the bomb. They hadn't even moved.

The green haired one grinned. "See. You don't have to be the only one to do something to win," Zoro said, and walked back to the viewing room, not waiting for his partner or those they'd come into no contact with. Everyone looked at him, and Mineta shouted that he could have killed them. "Nah, I knew where we were just fine."

"But they were so quiet."

"Not at breathing. I trained my senses along with other things with the Whitebeards. The pros of being best friends with Luffy," Zoro said, putting his arm around Luffy's shoulders. He turned to Sanji and told him he'd better not make a fool of himself. Sanji huffed, and said he'd at least not just stay in the same spot.

Todoroki came up behind them and asked what Zoro's quirk was. "I can turn my arms into any weapon," he replied easily, with a shark's grin. He really liked his quirk, which was good. Luffy loved his demon side. His appearance was his favorite. He did look badass, as Zoro had been saying since they were five. He showed his arms warping into guns, bazookas, bats, spiked bats, swords, cythes. "Any weapon I see, I can manifest."

Sanji had been jealous of his friends' quirks before, being flashy, but his kicks had gotten so strong he'd blown through the wall of the training room once. That had been embarrassing, but the Whitebeards just laughed it off and fixed it up quickly. Luffy was the only one who could really handle the kicks at full force. If he kicked Zoro, he would break ribs. Even if they healed, it was still painful.

So Luffy was the one who practiced kicks on his body, while Sanji worked with Zoro's weapons. Mostly the metal bats. Luffy gave him an encouraging high five as he went to be one of the villains with Usopp. They already knew each other, so they got along well. Usopp would guard the bomb and Sanji would be the fighter. Usopp was good at long distance and not close up fighting, so he would attack the door from the bomb.

They watched as Sanji walked around the building and found Sato first. He was the more dangerous one. He knew he could get Mineta's weird balls and still not be hindered. Even if his legs got stuck together, he could get one on the ground and kick with one leg, or both legs together by doing a handstand.

He found Sato got buff after eating sugar and found him taller than the blonde. Sanji gave one hard kick to the side of his leg, breaking it so he fell to the ground. He groaned at the pain and tried standing up. He would be fixed by Recovery Girl just fine. He kicked him in the back again, and he was out.

Mineta was watching with fear and Sanji dodged each ball until he was right up to him and kicked him so hard he flew into the wall and left a small crater. Then he wrapped tape around both of them, the villain's winning. Sanji personally carried Sato to the gurney some robot nurses were taking.

"Don't worry, none of the breaks will cause problems after healing. No hard feelings?" Sanji asked. Sato nodded, saying they were supposed to go all out. Sanji headed back to the viewing room. Everyone was looking at the three of them.

"Why are you so strong?" Ashido asked.

Luffy simply said practice makes perfect. "At our old school, everyone called us the monster trio," he added with a laugh. "Since it was easier to just say that instead of all three of our names, over and over."

"Well, it fits! That's so manly! I'm so amazed, damnit!" Kirishima said. Luffy laughed and Zoro smirked. Sanji shook his head in amusement. The other matches were a bit forgettable, and then they got some advice about how each of their teams did. Zoro and Midoriya's teams got docked points for damaging the buildings. But not by much.

Luffy was one of the groups that had almost zero damage besides a cracked part of the floor. So, they left to go change out of their costumes and put them back in place in their briefcases. Luffy got his backpack, thinking that he was right about everything not fitting. Maybe he could get one of the shoulder bags instead of carrying his backpack backwards. Looking pretty stupid.

He didn't put his visor on since he wouldn't be going too fast and he liked the feel of the wind on his face completely. "I'll see you guys tomorrow," Luffy said to his two best friends, all three of them grinning. He waved goodbye and flew away to go home and tell his family all about his first day. The good and the bad.

Who he told, Thatch and his brothers, were worried and happy for him. Happy for him since he got along with his classmates and had a fun time fighting. Worried about Aizawa possibly seeing through his facade as a normal human. A human at all.

Luffy nodded, saying he had to be really careful now. But he was excited for what would come next. They did get homework on the first day, but it was nothing big. So he did that and then trained a bit before heading upstairs to be lazy and watch a movie on the huge couch there to accommodate both Luffy and Marco's wings.

Everything in his loft was sized for someone with wings, which was really helpful. He napped for a bit, excited for the next day.
