Draco's eyes fluttered open.

He was… outside? Not so long ago he had succumbed to the fatigue that weighed heavy on his shoulders, causing him to fall into a deep sleep with his head resting on his desk.

The long, lavender stalks stroked his body as he sat up, examining his surroundings with weary, heavy eyes.

He was suddenly hit with a sense of familiarity, as a thousand memories ran through his mind at once, one face standing clear through the barrage.

Astoria.

There she was, hovering above him, her graceful form emitting an ethereal glow as she beamed down at Draco. Her soft blonde locks danced in the wind. She wore a soft, white cotton gown that fell to her ankles."A-Astoria, y-you're alive!" He spluttered as he scrambled to his feet. Astoria remained silent as she continued to smile down at him.

Draco's heart felt as though a million daggers had been pierced into it, the objects being driven deeper into the vessel with every breath he took. He felt his eyes burn with tears. "Astoria I-I…" He trailed off as she tenderly cupped his face."Oh Draco." She sighed."Why did you leave?" He whispered, his eyes closing as the tears spilled down his face."I was never gone, Draco. I was always there. But it seems you no longer need me to be there for you. You've found yourself a special lady that's willing to look out for both you and Scorpius." She swiped at his tears with a thumb, her rosy lips pulled into a smile.

"No… don't leave." He begged, taking a hold of her wrists with both hands. "I have to Draco. You don't need me anymore." She said with a soft chuckle."Hermione Granger huh? I would've never expected that you would fall for her. She's a really nice girl, Draco. Go through any lengths to keep her, and don't hurt her. If you do, I'll come back to haunt you." She said with a wink. Draco couldn't help but let a small chuckle escape his lips at her words.

"Draco."

"Yes?"

"I have to go now." Astoria said.

"No. Don't leave. Stay a little longer." Draco begged, his voice raspy and weak. Astoria shook her head as she let go of Draco's face and backed away, tears now cascading down her own face. "I can't. I'm sorry Draco. Please, tell my Scorp that I love him." And with that, she vanished into thin air.

Draco watched the space that she had previously occupied with a tear streaked face. The smell of lavender wafted into his nostrils, as memories, both nostalgic and tragic, made his heart as heavy as a rock.

Draco awoke with a start.

Deep, shallow huffs rattled out of his opened mouth, the cold sweat creating a sheet over his pallid skin. He rubbed the tiredness from his eye and sat up, his neck feeling stiff and sore from the uncomfortable position he had fallen asleep in. He threw a glance at his wristwatch. 19:09, it read.

Draco rose to his feet, pushing the dream he had just had to the farthest corner of his mind, and focusing more on the emptiness in his stomach. It was suppertime, afterall.

"Oh, you guys started without me?" Draco broke through the chatter of the three occupants of the manor as he walked into the dining room. The delicious smells of that night's supper wafted into his nostrils, making his mouth water.

"Draco mate! We just finished preparing dinner. Take a seat." Blaise said, pulling up a seat for him. The table had already been set, with silverware intricately set alongside everyone's respective plates.

"We?" Draco inquired, an eyebrow raised.

"Believe it or not, Blaise helped." Draco turned, at the sound of Hermione's soft voice. She wore an apron stained with sauce, the delicious smelling dish levitating beside her. Her face flushed as she made eye contact with Draco, before she quickly placed her focus on something else in the kitchen. Draco pulled his lips into a frown. "I helped too, Daddy!" Scorpius said from the other side of the table. Draco beamed at the young boy before he took a seat across from Blaise. Hermione took off her apron and took a seat next to Draco, avoiding his gaze as his eyes bored into her. Draco took his fork and dug into the hot, scrumptious looking plate of spaghetti bolognese, before forking some into his mouth, expecting an explosion of flavour.

What he got instead was a barrage of saltiness so strong that it caused a fit of coughs to burst from within him.

Okay, that wasn't the burst of flavour I was expecting.

It seems everyone had a similar reaction. From the corner of his eye he saw Hermione spit into a napkin and Blaise take a huge gulp of water. It was only Scorpius who was content with his meal as he ate away happily, not paying attention to the reactions of the adults surrounding him.

Draco pulled his lips into a tight smile. "So, you said Blaise helped?"

Blaise stood up with a huff. "McDonald's it is." With that, he walked off to go find the phone, leaving Hermione and Draco alone.

Hermione awkwardly played with her food as the realisation that she was alone with Draco Malfoy, the person she had proclaimed her love to, dawned on her. She was finally alone with him. The silence in the air was thick enough to hack to pieces with an axe.

"You don't have to be like that, you know." She heard Draco say.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Hermione said, feigning ignorance. Hermione's gaze remained fixated on the plate of food as he gave a loud scoff, the sound of his chair scraping against the floor reverberating through the room. She heard him speak softly to Scorpius, who left his chair and ran off to his bedroom, his retreating steps echoing through the kitchen.

She froze as she felt his presence beside her. "So we're just going to pretend that what went on between us was merely a figment of our imagination?" Hermione sighed, as she stood up and faced Draco. "I don't think you realise how hard this is for me." Draco gave a scoff of disbelief. "Why is it so hard? What's holding you back Hermione?"

"There's nothing holding me back, okay!" She snapped. "I just…"

"This is about Potter isn't it?" Draco said, as realisation dawned on him. She heaved a sigh, and rubbed her forearm awkwardly, her eyes downcast. Her reaction was enough to confirm his suspicions.

"You think I'll do what Potter did to you, right? Do you not trust me?"

"I don't know, Draco." She whispered. For the first time in forever, Hermione felt lost. When she had kissed previously, she was sure about what she wanted. How did things change so quickly in the mere span of hours?

Draco took a step forward, closing the space between them. He reached out, and lightly stroked her cheek, his stormy eyes locking with her cocoa coloured eyes. As she gazed into his eyes, she felt as though she had been sucked into a pool, the grey of his eyes engulfing her like the waves of a roaring sea and as she swam, venturing deeper and deeper, she began to see things that she would've never had the power to see in the past. She could see the sincerity, the passion, the desperation, and clearer than the rest, she could see the love. The amorous emotion infected her, loosening her restraints.

Suddenly, she knew what she wanted again.

Hermione took a hold of the platinum blonde's angular face, and pulled him into a kiss that made fireworks combust in her belly. Draco was momentarily fazed by the kiss, before he began to melt into it, his hands resting on her waist. Hermione parted her lips, and granted access to Draco's tongue, which explored her mouth.

"Ahem." The pair jumped apart, loud huffs escaping their lips as they regained their lost breaths. Blaise stood by the threshold of the dining room, a smirk adorning his face. "I just called, they're on their way with the food."

"Okay." Hermione said, scratching the back of her neck awkwardly as her colour filled her cheeks. The two of them avoided Blaise' gaze.

"Right. I'll leave, seeing as I must have interrupted something important going on. You can carry on, Lovebirds, but please cast a silencio so we don't have to hear you."

"Oh shut up!" Draco yelled after Blaise's retreating form.

"Fucking wanker." He muttered before turning towards Hermione, who had a sheepish grin that was akin to that of a prepubescent girl. "Now, before we were interrupted, wasn't I locked in an embrace with the prettiest witch in the world?" He grabbed Hermione by the waist and pulled her into him, before bringing his lips into hers, the movement eliciting a soft hum from Hermione's lips.

As he kissed her, the world simmered away into nothing, being replaced with a bubble of bliss where the earthly problems could not reach them; a place he had no desire of leaving because he had the one person that he felt like he loved there.

As he kissed her, he felt like his life had been restored to its former quality.

The snow began its descent over London as the days passed by, bringing them to the end of November and thrusting them at the threshold of the cold winter season.

Every fireplace in the manor roared with orange flames that provided heat to fend off the frigidness of the winter, hot cocoa and cookies became a staple in the Malfoy home, and as the festive season slowly approached the manor was in desperate need of a makeover. Getting the manor decorated was such an exciting affair considering that it was Hermione's first time ever putting up magical Christmas decorations. The entire house had woken up at the early hours of six and got to work, prepping the house for its transformation. It seemed Scorpius was the only one enthusiastic about his job, as Christmas was his favourite time of the month, so while everyone else sluggishly placed a some mistletoe in a corner or glued a piece of tinsel to the wall, he exuberantly sprinted around the house, placing red and gold baubles at every nook and cranny of the house. It seemed that everything that child did, he did with enthusiasm. Decorating took them almost the entire day, but it would've probably taken less time if the task had been entrusted to Atty and the other elves but alas, they had been given leave for the entire month.

Hermione was standing by the balcony with a warm mug of hot cocoa clasped within her hands as she gave herself some much needed rest from the hectic day. The multicoloured fairy lights casted a rainbow coloured glow over the white snow on the ground. Hermione took in the cold, wintry air through her nostrils.

"Aren't you feeling a bit cold?" Hermione turned as she heard the familiar voice of Draco behind her. He stood by the door, his hands tucked into the pockets of his coat as he wore a soft smile on her face. "It isn't really that chilly. Come join me, Draco." She said, beckoning the platinum blonde. He walked towards where she was standing, taking his place next to her.

"The snow's beautiful isn't it? I've always loved winter."

Draco raised an eyebrow. "I don't think I've ever met anyone that has enjoyed the coldness of winter."

Hermione laughed. "It isn't just the coldness. I just love the overall vibe of it. When I think of winter, I think of nice cups of hot cocoa, pumpkin pasties, warm fireplaces, huddling up in blankets and comfort. It's during this season that I'm especially nostalgic." She sighed as Draco wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her into him. "You're weird, Granger. But it's fine because I like weirdos. I find them extremely sexy." Draco said, as he stroked a hair out of her face, his gaze amorous. His words caused heat to suffuse over her body.

Their relationship was approximately three weeks old and very exclusive. Blaise was the only one who knew what was going on between them. They were yet to inform the rest of the world about their relationship. They had mutually agreed to take things slow, and had not engaged in any physical, sexual activity during this time.

Hermione didn't know whether three weeks was enough for someone to know that they were in love with somebody but Hermione was smitten. Many times, during the course of those three weeks, and even before that, she would spend her sleepless nights wondering if she should push aside the strong feelings she had for Draco. But the emotions proved to be something that would not desist, no matter how much she ignored them, so she decided to act on them.

And now, here she was, in another relationship, hoping that it didn't end up like the last, because she would be crushed if it did.

Draco leant forward and brushed his lips over the shell of her ear, his hands travelling up her back. Hermione gave a shiver, and it wasn't because of the chilly weather. She released a soft sigh as she felt the warmth of his breath against the crook of her neck as he lowered mouth, his lips lightly tracing the delicate skin.

"Oh, is that so?" Hermione replied shakily, goosebumps erupting on her skin at his touch progressed to the hem of her shirt, his fingers making contact with the skin on her back. She gulped; she knew what was about to unfold between the two of them, and body was more than willing to succumb to his sensual touches and kisses. After all, it had been a while since she had felt his hands peruse her body like they had the last time. For a moment, silence prevailed, the only sound apparent being the low whistle of the wind and the rustling of leaves. Hermione allowed herself to melt into his touch, as Draco rested his lips against her, the kiss starting off as soft and tender but then growing with passion and fervour. As they kissed, they moved backwards until they were back inside Hermione's bedroom. Once inside, Hermione collapsed on the scarlet sheets, her sweater already removed, leaving her in just a t-shirt. Draco hovered over her, his coat on the floor by the door and his almost complete off.

"This is taking way too long." Hermione huffed and the pair chuckled, before the clothes on their backs magically vanished, reappearing by the fireplace. Hermione pulled Draco by the neck, causing him to lose his footing and fall onto her. Their lips reconnected once they were both on the bed, reigniting the flames of passion burning within them. Hermione felt her body grow warmer and warmer with the skin to skin contact and she found herself craving his touch more than ever. They broke the kiss so that they could both move further up the bed, before resuming their ministrations on each other.

After what felt like an eternity with their lips locked, he broke the kiss, moving his lips to the sensitive spot on her neck, his teeth and tongue going over the tender flesh until it bruised. Hermione's chest heaved as heavy breaths escaped her throat, his touch sending tingles down her spine.

Draco's mouth began to descend, eventually reaching her chest area. He kissed each soft mound, eliciting a soft groan from her. He then began to toy with her perked up nipples, pinching each digit as home nipped and kissed at her breasts. She felt his platinum blonde hair tickle her skin as he nestled himself between her breasts. Gooseflesh erupted over her soft skin as he continued his lustful ministrations on her. He eventually abandoned her bosoms and lowered himself, his lips placing wet kisses against her skin as he lowered himself, his mouth moving across her stomach, and naval until he was between her nether region. Once down there, he took both her thick thighs in his large hands and placed them over each of his shoulders, his head properly nestled between the heat of her inner thighs.

Hermione gasped as she felt his bite into her inner thigh, his teeth softly sinking into the sensitive flesh. Her breaths grew shaky and hollow as he continuously kissed, licked and bit her thigh. Her womanhood throbbed with arousal and anticipation, and the mere fact that his mouth was so close to her sweet spot made the ache a lot more unbearable. She arched her back as she felt him run a thumb across her swollen clit. "Merlin, I want to taste you on my fucking tongue." He growled against her thigh, before he finally brought his mouth to her vagina, his tongue running over her glistening labia. "Oh God." She gasped. She felt him part her lips with his fingers, before his tongue poked out to touch her sensitive bundle of nerves. He pressed his hot tongue against the eager button, eliciting a soft squeal from her. Hermione arched her back, pleasure coursing through her nerves as he licked and sucked on her clit, his tongue doing absolute wonders down there. With every flick and lick she felt her release draw nearer.

He went on licking and sucking until she couldn't take it anymore. She felt as though something had combusted in her womb, the explosion of pleasure sending waves of pleasure over her body. Her mind shut down and her body grew weak. Although she couldn't hear it, a high pitched keen left her lips. Draco emerged from between her legs, his eyes bright and lips glistening. He licked his lips, savouring the taste of her essence.

Draco kissed Hermione once again, their tongues engaging in a physical battle of dominance until Draco eventually won. He then broke the kiss, providing them a moment of breath. Draco fell to Hermione's side, his chest heaving as he took heavy breaths. "I love you Draco." She breathed. "And I want you to make love to me, please. I need you." Her tone was practically begging, as every nerve in her body screamed for him to touch her once more.

Draco brought himself up to his knees, and positioned himself between her legs. His member throbbed against his thigh, hard and swollen with the desperate urge to be within her. He took her legs and wrapped them around his waist. He grabbed her by the waist and pulled her closer. Her heart thumped wildly against her ribcage. She could sense that this time would be unlike the last time; the last time had been fuelled by resentment and anger, and had no feelings behind it. This time would be passionate and loving.

He took his cock into his hand, and slowly encircled the tip against her inner thigh, her labia and her clit, teasing her. He felt her give a shiver of anticipation.

He pressed himself against her warm entrance, slowly inserting himself into her with a loud groan. He heard her moan under him. Her walls clung onto him like a tightly clenched fist. He slowly began to thrust into her, his member sensually rubbing against her vaginal walls with each movement. Hermione moaned, her back arching with pleasure. "Merlin…" She huffed. His hands gripped her waist as he continued to thrust, his movements growing deeper and faster. His thrusts repeatedly knocked against her g-spot, sending her closer and closer to the edge. Soon, the room was filled with the sounds of skin slapping against skin, of moans of ecstasy, and of deep, loud grunts. Draco's fingers dug into the flesh of her waist as he felt himself reach his close. His Adams Apple bobbed as he swallowed, his usually prim hair disheveled. "Fuck, I'm so close."

"M-me too." Hermione moaned. "Oh Merlin I'm gonna cum."

A few more thrusts later and she became undone, her orgasm bursting within her like a million butterflies had been set loose inside her womb. Tingles ran up and down every inch of her body. Her walls clenched around him, causing him to reach his release as well. She felt him throb inside her as he emptied his load inside her.

Draco pulled his cock out if her, his member going flaccid. The both of them were beyond spent from their intense lovemaking. He collapsed from exhaustion beside her, his chest heaving as pants escaped his lips. "Merlin… that was…" He trailed off, for there were no words good enough to describe what had just transpired between them. He turned towards her, taking in the sight of her face slick with sweat and her disheveled hair, and her rosy face. Her plump pink lips were red and swollen from all the kissing and her long brown lashes rested on her cheeks as she closed her eyes. Draco took every detail on her face with awe. He couldn't believe how utterly lucky he was to be able to find someone of Hermione's calibre. He thought that after Astoria there would be no one else.

Draco wrapped his arms around Hermione, and pulled her into his body. He buried his nose in her curly tresses and took in the intoxicating scent of her shampoo. "I love you, Draco." She heard him mutter.

"I love you too, Hermione." He whispered, his words drifting off into the chilly night air, with the other proclamations of love that had been released from people that were just as lovestruck as him.

I hope this smutty chapter will make up for my late update. forgive me lovelies
