AN: I have spent some time (Aka two months) revamping my writing style for your enjoyment. Hopefully, you prefer it this way reader.
These chapters will be longer and more detailed but will take a while to write.
I also have a few other projects in mind as well that take up some extra time, but that's not really relevant here.
As always, thank you for reading and review pls.
M rated story, remember?
Ichika hesitates to send yet another text to her missing brother and scrolls up the feed once more on her phone, biting her lip out of worry as she does so. Both Ichika and her mother expected Izuku to come home for dinner today, but he never came. His calls, unanswered and their texts, delivered but not read. The siblings always were close texters, sending each other bouts of information every day, be it Ichika's new training regime or what new show caught their interest recently. So when he never responded, it scared her. Millions of possibilities of where her brother could be passed by her mind like a hurricane.
The dinner she ate wasn't the same. Even if it was her favourite curry dish that her mother made. She puts her phone down and lies down on her bed in an attempt to calm her thoughts. Ichika huffs in uncertainty and clutches her pillow to her chest tighter.
What if something happened to him? What if he needed help and no one's there for him? What if-?
A knock on her door brought Ichika out of her slightly panicked state and Ichika sits up quickly.
"Y-Yes?!"
Inko calls out for her, the slightest bit of sadness in her voice.
"The baths ready for you Ichika!"
"Okay! Thanks!"
Ichika grabs the bundle of clothing and towels by her desk and makes her way to the bathroom but not without asking her mother the same question for the hundredth time.
"Mother, have you heard from Nii-san?" She asks again. Inko frowns and shakes her head, making sure to embrace her daughter in an attempt to calm her down.
"I'm sure he's fine dear, he's strong. We will hear from him soon."
Ichika leans into her mother's touch and sighs sadly, nodding in agreement.
"Okay..."
Inko pulls away but keeps her hold on her daughter, she gives her a hopeful look and nudges her into the bathroom.
"Maybe he is just busy with work and is tired."
"I-I hope so..."
Inko watches as her daughter slides the door shut, her heart heavy with her own batch of uncertainty. She crosses the living room to the hairdryer before noticing the breaking news sign on their television. She sits down on the sofa, her eyes glued to the screen, curious as to what could have happened so late at night.
The screen shows the remains of what was described to be a large scale fight within Old Town. Only being a few miles away, Old Town used to be a bustling hub of factories and living spaces. But what was once a historical mark of Musutafu, was now reduced to ashes and rubble.
Police covered every inch of the area and firefighters worked with heroes to put out the fires that sprouted from what seemed to be explosions. A large group of villains can be seen forced into trucks, along with a tall humanoid that required a large hero to lift.
It was securely cuffed by the wrists and its frame was covered by censoring that hid its face and body, but even the censoring didn't hide the extent of its injuries. It looked like it had been run over by a train. Inko watches with slight horror as she scans the form that was smothered in blood, and how its limbs were twisted in ways that were so gruesomely unnatural that it cringed Inko to look on anymore. All of a sudden, the scene switches to a helicopter view and a deep crater can be seen within the clearing that spread out wide.
"As you can see! Someone or something caused a crater within what used to be a large parking lot! Police are yet to have any clues as to what caused it! It is almost as if All Might himself punched the ground! Back to you Mira!"
A small timid female reporter runs underneath the warning tape and catches the attention of an officer, the cameraman shakily jogging to catch up behind.
"Excuse me, sir! Sir! Do you think that this was a fight between villains and is there possibly a link to the kidnappings in Musutafu?"
The reporter shoves the microphone into the grumbly officers face, the badge on his jacket clearly stating that he was of high rank.
"It is unclear if the kidnappings are linked but we do know for sure that multiple parties are involved. We believe that this was a skirmish between two different villain groups, fighting over what? We don't know. Thank you."
"Sir! Sir! Just one more question!"
"Someone get these reporters out of here?"
The camera gets pushed around until suddenly the scene transitions and it is brought back to the studio, where the reporter makes their closing statement. Inko turns off the television and places a hand above her heart. She couldn't help but imagine if one of her children got caught up in a fight like the one she just saw.
The destruction. The blood.
For some reason, her heart became incredibly heavy.
\ /
Three hours after the carnage...
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.
The machine, a constant reminder that his heart was still beating, however, he felt the complete opposite. He felt like he just cheated death. The slightest movement either causing immense pain or becoming incredibly itchy.
Izuku opens his eyes to the bright ceiling of what he assumed was a hospital room and he immediately takes a look at the damage done to his form. His torso was covered in bandages and his left arm was encased in a slim yet firm cast. He tests movement slowly and groans as everything aches in protest, he gives up and lays his head down dejectedly onto the uncomfortably hard pillow.
He wasn't alone. A familiar presence was sat next to his bed and they chuckle to themselves, clearly finding his situation amusing. He rolls his head over with great difficulty and was rewarded with the sight of his girlfriend, Ryuko, reading a magazine about the upcoming U.A sports festival. She was clad in a black hoodie and black sweat pants with a plain white crop top that showed off her well-trained abdomen. She kept her iconic green headband on, the accessory being the only thing that held up her long bangs from covering both of her eyes.
"...Am I dead-?"
His voice was dry and he coughs the moment he speaks, causing him to spasm in pain at his own movements. Ryuko drops the magazine to the ground and helps him to sit up quickly, slowly feeding him some water from a nearby cup. Izuku drinks desperately, the water filling an ache he didn't know he had. He sighs happily after finishing his drink and Ryuko giggles, not expecting to be babying him so soon. She gently lays him down onto his back once again before playing with his hair, the cup and the magazine now on the ground, forgotten. She takes another look at his injured form, the look bringing back nostalgic memories to when they were both in the hero course together.
It was just like Izuku to be out there, always looking for trouble. Every time they were out on patrols, he always returned to the academy with new injuries and a long report to fill out.
"Go home Ryuko, it's really late after all."
Izuku motions to the open window on his left, the sky now almost void of all light save for the crescent moon in the air.
"After all the trouble I went through to stay with you here? Hell no. I'm staying."
Ryuko had to suffer a long argument with the doctors to let her stay with him after visiting times, even staying in the room when they stripped Izuku of his ruined clothes to wrap him in bandages. Ryuko's stomach flips over in anxiousness. What happens now? They broke the peaceful anonymity they had and now even the heroes know of their relationship. How long until the public knows of them? What would happen to her? What would happen to them? She looks to Izuku and the peaceful look on his face only added to the guilt that was building within her.
"Do you know him?"
"Is he your boyfriend?"
"Why are you with a villain?"
"That tattoo... You know what he is don't you?"
"Are you working for him?"
The heroes piled on her instantly, demanding answers from her. Best Jeanist was the one who gathered them up to leave her alone, and she couldn't be any more grateful to the older hero. His presence silenced any questions and he pushed them out of the ward completely, giving her and Izuku some much-needed peace. Returning to the present, Ryuko brings her hand down to Izuku's face and she rubs his cheek lovingly but not without sighing in slight frustration.
"You okay?"
Surprised, Ryuko looks back to her bedridden boyfriend to see worried eyes watching her carefully. She laughs and shakes her head, a warm feeling beginning to brew in her stomach from his kind gesture.
"I should be asking you that question idiot, I'll be fine."
He grins widely and Ryuko had to hold down her slight blush. Izuku closes his eyes and leans into her touch with a big smile on his face as if he wasn't just fighting for his life a few hours prior.
"I'm glad."
The feeling in her stomach grew bigger and it began to flutter as if it was trying to jump out of her chest. Ryuko, who couldn't resist temptation, leans down with a smile of her own and gives him a delicate peck on his lips. Their kiss was short and sweet, making Izuku blink in a slight daze. Ryuko leans into the bed a bit more so she was just lying on her side next to him but not taking up any of his space. Izuku welcomes her presence on the bed and attempts to snuggle against her like a cat.
"So... How long?"
He raises his cast arm, and Ryuko smirks. She goes back to caressing his hair as she answers, only this time with a slightly amused expression.
"A week if you're quick. But probably two."
Izuku groans aloud causing Ryuko's smirk to blossom into a grin. He absolutely hated casts. Telling him that he had to keep it for two weeks was just nauseating to him.
"Wonderful..."
Ryuko stands and bends down to pick up the magazine and the cup on the ground, only then did she notice an out of place wire dangling from underneath the headboard. They were monitoring him? That was a dumb question. Of course, they were monitoring him. Ryuko looks around the room, searching for any cameras that they could have set up only to find none. She looks back at the headboard and bites her lip.
Fuck it.
All of a sudden, Ryuko reaches over his bed frame and tugs, hard. The bed frame shakes slightly and she pulls out a device that looked like a tiny microphone. She waves it in his face before she drops the device to the floor without another thought. Izuku blinks a few times, still confused about what just happened. Ryuko rolls her eyes at his obliviousness and kicks the broken machinery away from her.
"The police?" She says as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
The realisation slowly dawn's on Izuku's face as he makes an 'O' shape with his mouth.
"Oh... I love you, you know that?"
Ryuko smirks, making sure to wipe away a few strands of stray hair away from his forehead as she wriggles her way into Izuku's bed, missing his warmth.
"Later, we have about two minutes until they barge into this room."
Izuku nods and Ryuko snuggles into his warm form as best as she could.
It's enough. She thought to herself.
Probably.

Nearby...
POP.
An officer that decided to place his head down for a minute jolts awake and quickly readjusts his headset, making sure to look around him to see if anyone was going to give him an earful for taking a nap. He breathes a sigh of relief after inspecting the small room and checks the time, wondering when his shift ends.
An hour left. Well whatever, he had a conversation to monitor.
A minute passed by. Nothing. Another minute... Still nothing.
He looks up from his paperwork and eyes the wireless communicator suspiciously. Did they just suddenly stop talking to each other? It did make sense, after all. Before he decided to rest, he heard scuffling which showed signs that someone was getting into the bed. There was no way that the patient was getting out of bed so he deduced it to be his... Visitor? The police officer taps against his headset, wondering if they were broken or not. He sips from his lukewarm coffee and shrugs before standing to find his superior officer, stationed at the corridor desk outside.
He pries open the door to see his superior sipping his own cup of coffee, overlooking what he deduced as the documents for the investigation.
"Sir?" He says anxiously.
The captain doesn't even turn to him and places his cup down. He retrieves a pen from the table and signs the documents, one by one.
"What is it?"
He clears his throat and stands up straight to address his superior properly.
"I think we lost connection to the hospitable room."
He looks up in surprise and walks into the storage room that the hospital has kindly let them use for watching, or in this case, listening to the yakuza that the heroes brought in earlier.
"What? What of the guys on stand by duty?"
He puts on the headphones himself and presses the button that would prod a response if the box was on. Nothing. He smacks the box hard and curses when it doesn't respond to his abuse.
"They were moved from their posts by a detective-"
"A detective?! Why was I not informed?!"
Ren holds his hands up, portraying that he was innocent.
"H-He said that the orders came from above! So we just assumed-!"
The captain rubs his temples in anger and picks up his gun from the desk.
"-I am the one in charge of this operation am I not?"
He salutes with clenched teeth, not wanting to fall victim to his Captain's relentless lecture.
"Y-Yes, sir."
"Is the detective on the call?"
"No..."
A facepalm and an irritated sigh.
"Useless. Now follow, I'll take point."
They go through the hospital's seemingly endless corridors, and the older officer speaks into his two-way radio.
"This is Captain Toya with officer Ren, we are moving to the Yakuza's room to investigate a disturbance. Send back up if you do not hear from us in five minutes."
He waits for the beep on the other end before moving.
"Roger that boss."
Toya turns to his fellow officer and takes out his gun when they reach the second floor.
"Expect the worse; fingers on your safety."
Ren nods and with a deep breath pulls out his own gun.
"Yes sir!"
\ /
Tsukauchi scribbles into his notebook quickly with well-practised ease before noticing movement out of the corner of his eye. He peeks over his book curiously to see men with weapons slowly converging to him. Toya and Ren lower their weapons at the sight of the detective, the Captain walking to him with a permanent scowl on his face. Tsukauchi feigns ignorance, hoping that the situation can be solved quietly and without any problems.
"Captain! What seems to be the problem?" He raises his voice ever so slightly, hoping that the couple behind him has had enough time to talk. He could hear them shuffling around inside the room and he stands in front of the door, preventing access to the angry officer.
Toya's frown darkens and he rubs his temples once more, trying to soothe the anger bubbling deep within. Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi. The directors favourite. He always did show up whenever he wasn't wanted. For both criminals and policemen alike. He was good. Too good.
"I should have known... Tsukauchi..."
The detective smiles and reaches out his hand, indicating a handshake.
"It's good to see you again Captain-"
Toya smacks his hand away with his own and tries to open the door, only to be body blocked by the detective.
"What's the meaning of this detective? There's a dangerous Yakuza in there! First, you move my men and now you take their watch?! What is going on!? He could be escaping!" He shouts.
Ah. So not the quiet route then. Nurses in their offices poke their heads out into the hallway, curious about what was happening in the usually quiet ward. Ren stands by awkwardly, not knowing what to make of the situation. Tsukauchi raises his hands in a calming gesture and keeps his voice down, trying to get the hint across that he was being too loud.
"Escaping? Sir, I mean no offence but have you seen his condition?"
Tsukauchi thought it impossible for his face to contort anymore, but alas it was possible. Toya seemed as if he was one step away from biting off the detectives head.
"Move. Out of my way. Detective."
He draws his words on longer, hoping to God that the Detective would just leave. But he was persistent, and the aggression seems to do nothing against him.
"Sir, please. Just listen to me for a moment-"
Toya growls and straightens, giving him his last warning.
"I've run out of patience to deal with this. Move."
"Sir, it's just for-!"
"Move it!"
He shoves Tsukauchi away from the door forcefully and raises his pistol.
"Ren on me!"
The younger officer quickly brings up his weapon to his face and stays close behind him.
"Roger!"
Toya kicks the door handle in, resulting in an impromptu breach.
"Hands up! This is the police!"
Both Toya and Ren burst into the room with their weapons raised but aren't met with any resistance. Instead, they are met with the sight of an annoyed-looking Ryuko, who was sat on the bed whilst clutching Izuku's hand. However, the Yakuza in question looked like he was on the verge of sleeping and yawned comically.
"I thought visiting times were over?"
Ryuko nods in agreement and crosses her legs and arms, clearly irritated and giving the Captain an ice-cold glare. She knew that her breaking the device would mount a reaction, but she never expected one so... loud. A few nurses that heard the commotion were ushered away by Tsukauchi and he enters the room afterwards with a sheepish smile. He takes off his hat and bows slightly to Izuku who in return waves him off, adamant on the fact that he did not need to show him that much respect.
"It's good to see you are well Midoriya-san."
Izuku gives out a strained laugh and winces from the sudden discomfort.
"I've certainly been better."
Toya sighs, he holsters his gun and reaches into his pocket for his notepad. He looks to the younger officer who just seemed to be staring at Ryuko, a slight pink on his cheeks. He huffs, extremely annoyed and flips through the pages.
"Ryukyu is it? I'm afraid I'll have to apprehend you for destroying and interfering with police-"
Ryuko lets go of Izuku's hand and stands, intending on defending herself until Tsukauchi stands between her and the captain.
"That won't be necessary Captain."
Toya groans at yet another interference with his work, his headache becoming worse and worse over time.
"What is going through your mind Tsukauchi?!"
The detective ushers him to quiet down as doctors and security alike ran down the hallway to their room.
"I would have explained it to you if you were willing to listen to me before, please. Let us just go and talk about this in the next room. Ren?"
Ren stumbles slightly from where he was stood and holsters his gun with a blush on his face.
"Y-yeah, sure."
Ryuko, who was still completely oblivious to Ren's obvious attraction to her, turns back to Izuku with a frown, mouthing a 'sorry' to him. The officer finally looks away from Ryuko, completely captivated by the dragoon hero. Toya turns to Izuku one final time and practically sneers at the bedridden yakuza.
"Don't you dare even think about leaving."
BEEP.
"Sir? Do you need backup?"
He presses the button to answer back.
"Negative. Things are clear."
"Understood."
Izuku nods to the captain and gives him a taunting smile.
"Captain."
He's mocking him. Toya grunts his reply back and stomps out of the room with Ren grabbed by the shoulder. Tsukauchi gave them another bow and a slight 'sorry' before closing the door.
Finally.
The beat of silence that followed now seemed unusual, however, it wasn't at all unwelcome. Ryuko breathes a large sigh of relief and stretches her arms above her head, enjoying the way her muscles stretched. She turns to Izuku with a smile, glad to finally be alone with him.
"That was a lot worse than I thought it would be."
Izuku doesn't acknowledge what she says and continues to stare at the door, seemingly in thought. Ryuko, confused, taps his cheek with her finger to bring him back. He caresses the back of her hand with his thumb and gently tugs her back down into his bed. Still confused, Ryuko slides in without hesitation and Izuku makes an effort to cover her with the thin white sheets.
"I think that officer likes you."
Ryuko's single visible eye widens in surprise and she grins after the shock disappears, showing off her sharp teeth.
"The quiet one?"
He nods with a slight smile on his face, a jealous twinge in his eye. Ryuko cups his face the best she could whilst laying down, and kisses him passionately, wanting to reassure him of her love. He pulls her closer by her hips with his good arm, not willing to let her go. She parts away from him first, not wanting to rile him up whilst he was hospitalised. Their lips hovered near after they parted, no one really wanting to be away from the other.
"Mmmm~. Too bad for him, I'm already taken."
His smile widens and the jealousy in his eyes vanishes, he nudges forward and bumps his nose into hers.
"Don't I know it."
Ryuko rolls her eyes at his small show of arrogance and decides to amuse him for the moment. She moves up slightly so that she was in a better spot and she goes back to caressing his smooth dark green hair.
"Indeed. Now continue. What happened after you broke through the main building?"
\ / Next Door...
"Coffee?"
"What is this? A picnic?"
The policemen followed Tsukauchi into the room next door which seemed to be some doctors office. There were two couches on either side of a large coffee table and the detective motions for them to sit opposite him.
"Please sit."
Tsukauchi pours a coffee that was still hot and Toya breathes a sigh of relief when he takes in the smell of the caffeine. Ren doesn't respond to Tsukauchi when he offers him a drink so the detective assumes that he was good for now.
"You prepared this in advance..."
Toya eyes the various documents and pictures on the desk.
"I did. This was the director's idea actually."
"The director?"
Tsukauchi nods as he finishes pouring his own drink.
"Indeed. We have recently gained a new ally and it's about time some of the force knows about him. However..."
Tsukauchi's look hardens as he clutches his own drink in his hands.
"This information is highly classified to the public, if any of this information leaves this room then we are going to be held responsible."
Toya nods and Ren beside him sighs dreamily.
"Ren."
No response.
"Ren!"
"Hmm!? Sorry, what was that?"
Toya's headache grows, his frustration clear on his face towards his colleague.
"Daydreaming Ren? Or you thinking about the hero next door?"
Ren chuckles and nods, the blush on his face growing.
"Ryukyu... Yeah. I didn't realise she was that...Wow."
Toya and Tsukauchi share a disappointed look between each other, the tensions between them seemingly now disappeared. Ren looks at them dumbfounded, not understanding why they were suddenly so miserable.
"What?"
Toya sighs and picks up his third coffee of the night and lets it warm his hands.
"Did you even read the report I gave you? They're lovers."
He takes a sip as he watches Ren's face contort in shock.
"W-Well, maybe they aren't. Maybe she's just an old friend of his."
Tsukauchi chuckles as he takes a sip of his own beverage, feeling sorry for the infatuated officer.
"I'm afraid she's taken. They are boyfriend and girlfriend, I even asked them."
Ren slumps into his chair and clutches his face as if he was in pain.
"Why do the hot girls always go for the bad ones?!"
Tsukauchi shakes his head after a sip and places his cup down on the table.
"Actually, this one is inherently good."
Toya snorts and bitterly shakes his head.
"If he's good then I'm a fucking saint."
Tsukauchi sighs and opens the TOP SECRET file on the desk. He pulls out a specific document that was approved by the director himself and slams it in front of them.
"Three hours ago, Midoriya produces a strike team consisting of his own Yakuza members and rescues kidnapped civilians. Within less than 2 hours he flawlessly recovers the hostages with what we assume as no casualties. Both Villains and Yakuza alike. These civilians were later found together at the back entrance of this hospital."
Tsukauchi taps on the image at the top of the page, a recovery centre that was in downtown Musutafu. The closest emergency service unit to Old Town. The officers were listening intently and waited patiently for Tsukauchi to carry on.
'Finally.' The detective thinks to himself.
"He proceeds to neutralise with what the defence committee recognise as an A rank villain in the span of ten minutes, saving us the manpower and more prominently in this case, the willpower to defeat a Nomu."
Another image. Albeit being a little blurry, they can definitely make out the form of Izuku battling the Nomu. Tsukauchi stands and walks to the window, looking between the gaps in the blinds for anyone that could be peeking in on them.
"We have apprehended a similar creature during the 'League of Villains' raid on U.A. These 'Nomu's' are strong and previously rivalled the strength of All Might."
"Wait... This thing? Rivals All Might in power?"
He nods, a grim look on his face. Nomu documents, already being analysed by both officers.
"The villain leader that raided U.A claims that they have created it to Kill All Might. This particular Nomu we just apprehended? We can only assume. Though they are similar, this particular Nomu is slim and seems to utilise speed more than strength."
He sits back down and rifles through another file.
"That's not the only problem. The Nomu contains multiple quirks. These quirks also fit the description of the victim's quirks."
Another sheet was placed on top of the slowly amassing pile.
"...What happened to them?"
Ren picks up the sheet in mild horror, reading the list of names and looking at the many images of the Nomu emulating their quirks.
"They are now quirkless, but alive."
Ren shudders and puts the paper down on the table.
"Fucking hell...They extracted them?"
Toya taps against Izuku's image of when he was huddled with what seemed to be members from his organisation.
"This Yakuza. What is his quirk?"
Tsukauchi shrugs.
"We don't know. From what we know, it seems to be a huge jumpstart to physical capabilities. Speed, power, endurance. The rest is speculation. His mother contained a small scale psychic ability, whilst the father supposedly breathed fire. Truthfully, we can only theorise. For now, we have classed him as a potential S rank threat..."
He leads the sentence on as if there were more to what he was saying.
"But?"
Tsukauchi smiles and leans back onto the sofa with his half-empty cup in his hands.
"He's on our side."
Ren looks at him incredulously.
"Wait, so he's working for us?"
Another shake of the head, he takes a large gulp of his drink before continuing.
"No. This is more like a beneficial relationship. Musutafu's crime rates have been reduced by 40% ever since he has come to the city, the lowest it has been ever since All Might's rise."
He places the cup down onto the table and hands the two a set of previously signed documents.
"We let him work and we turn a blind eye. That is if they don't violate our rules like tonight."
Ren shrugs in disbelief, not contemplating the fact that the Yakuza is actually getting away freely.
"So we just let him go? Just like that?"
"This is for the betterment of the people-"
"Bullshit!"
Toya finally bursts and stands, the documents in his hands now being replaced for his gun. He pulls back the hammer and aims it right at Tsukauchi, who didn't move a muscle.
"Give me one good fucking reason, why I shouldn't just put a bullet in your corrupted head right now."
Tsukauchi stares straight down the barrel with no fear in his eyes. Ren stands and places a firm hand on his Captain's wrist, trying to wrangle the weapon out of his hands
"Sir, please-"
"We are not letting this motherfucker get-away like this. No way. You saw what he could do. He could level fucking cities."
He motions to the pictures on the table and Tsukauchi, in return, nods.
"That's true."
"Exactly so... Wait what?"
Toya stares at Tsukauchi, dumbfounded that he wasn't protecting the Yakuza like before.
"His allegiance is to the Toudou clan and we have definitely had issues with them in the past."
Toya drops the gun slightly so that it was no longer between the detective's eyes, now more curious than angry.
"Excuse me? Toudou? The same ones that supported the Shie Hassaikai?"
"Indeed."
He raises his weapon once again, intending on continuing his interrogation.
"Why do you trust this man so much?"
He leans into the gun and smiles, not caring about how the metal felt unnatural against his head.
"Because he's a hero."
...
Toya yells in frustration and throws his gun against the wall. Frustrated didn't even begin to explain how he felt. None of this made any sense.
"There is no fucking way, I'm letting that man get out of this building without cuffs."
Ren nods and tries to stand between the two, not wanting any more conflict between them.
"What of Ryukyu? She definitely isn't going to just stand there and let you arrest him."
Tsukauchi puts his head into his hands, trying to wrack his brain for any potential answers to their problem.
"Ryukyu..."
The issue with the Yakuza's girlfriend was a complicated one. No doubt she would put up resistance if they tried to take him in. A light bulb lit inside his head and he jerks up with a smile plastered on his face.
"Wait! That's it! We attach him to Ryukyu. He will go with her in public and this way we can keep an eye on him. This would count to him doing community service."
Ren nods slowly in agreement, even if the idea soured his dreams of being with the hero.
"That's... Actually not a bad idea."
Toya sits and readjusts his jacket.
"So what? We make him play pretend as a Hero?"
Tsukauchi nods fervently, the idea seemingly flawless in his mind.
"Exactly! He can't do anything. Think! The public would be all over him and he would be recognised nationally! That's the worst possible thing for a Yakuza."
Toya backs off and sighs, silently agreeing to Tsukauchi's idea.
"A year."
The detective shakes his head, that was far too long.
"One month."
"Six." Toya snarls, not liking how much time he had to cut off.
"Two."
"Four."
"Three."
"Done. Three months and he can go."
Toya reaches out his hand and Tsukauchi shakes it happily, glad that their arguing has finally come to an end.
"If he's not with her in public when on duty then I'm taking him in, no excuses."
Tsukauchi wipes the sweat from his brow as he stands, all the talking making him stressed.
"I'll go and tell him. Do me a favour and clean up?"
He leaves the room swiftly and the pair look down to the messy table stacked with hundreds of documents. Toya's rage finally reaches its last point and he screams at the top of his lungs, not caring for who heard him in the hospital.
"TSUKAUCHI!"

Downtown Musutafu...
What a wild night.
The entire Midoriya Family was once again reminded as to why their boss was the most feared member of the Toudou clan. The Dragon of Toudou, the one-man army, The God of Flames. Out of the five years that she's served the family, Saori has only ever seen her boss glow that ominous dark colour twice. Once when confronting The Betrayer, and now tonight. Thinking back to the fight brings shivers to her whole body. How could one being have that much power? She would have thought it was impossible if she didn't see it with her own eyes.
Saori leans against Uta's car and opens her phone, scrolling over various news articles that covered what happened that evening in Old Town. Truthfully, she was furious. Everyone called them villains. What a joke. If only they knew that they were saving their city. Their leader sacrificed his life for them and all he got was a title that ridiculed him?
It was reassuring to know that the Boss was with someone he knew but still, watching as an entire platoon of police surround him did nothing to calm her racing nerves. She heavily debated going back for him. Uta was the one who had to pull her back from confronting the heroes when they took Izuku in, he always was there when it always mattered. Uta reminded her that Izuku gave her a direct order, to take care of Yuki and the victims of the kidnappings.
Speaking of Yuki... The poor little girl cried the entire way home that night, only managing to fall asleep when she got comfortable in Saori's arms. She thought it was her fault that they got Izuku and Saori had to encourage her gently to stop her tears.
Saori sighs breathlessly and takes a moment to enjoy the vast void that was the clear night sky. Saori runs a gauntlet through her hair and accidentally clips her hair tye that kept her bright pink hair in a high ponytail. With one quick movement, she takes it off and her hair flies free in the gentle breeze of the night.
"Hurry up!"
A voice from the building in front of her disturbs her daydreaming and she holds back a groan.
Saori looks up to the building she was waiting in front of. It was a small apartment block on the edge of the urban area, meaning that it was extremely quiet and near void of cars on the road. Perfect for their newer members. Uta volunteered to go and pick up the rookies that were assigned to them, babysitting as the doctor called it. She knew exactly why they were coming with them. Exposure to the underworld. These kids were brand new to the Yakuza and need more than a simple lecture on dos and don'ts. After all, small-time robbery and back school fights don't prepare them for what they are gonna have to get used to. If they can adapt quickly, they'll survive. If not, then they might as well forfeit their lives.
'It's a good chance for them to meet the others, and for them to learn their place. Make sure they remember it.' The Doctor waves them out of his office with a smirk, knowing full well that Saori despises these jobs.
Easy said than done she thought. Rookies usually meant arrogance incarnate. She gently waves her hands through her hair out of boredom until she could hear what seemed to be a young boy cussing out Uta.
"I'm fucking going! Geez. I don't see why someone like me has to do this anyways."
Great. Egotistical as well.
"Why are we going so fuckin' late. This couldn't wait till tomorrow?" Questions a new voice. Saori listens closely to hear Uta's reply but it never came. He ignored them.
Saori rolls her eyes as the three figures finally exit the building. Uta leads the way to his car with his hands in his pockets as the other two rookies fall in line behind him. Their postures practically screaming 'I'm better than you', both of them making sure to lean forwards slightly to give off a look of boredom. They only wore their suit jackets which left their chests open, showing off their recently obtained abs and underneath muscles. The main differences the two shared was that one had a scar across his face and the other has bright blonde hair.
She wanted to throw up. At least Uta looked good. Actually, he always looked good. She liked how he kept his jet-black hair in check to the side and how he always made an effort to dress nicely in his signature dark red suits.
Flashbacks to their night of passion rose to her mind and Saori mentally kicks herself. Not. Now.
"Just... Just this once... Okay?" She huffs as Uta slowly aligns himself to her entrance. She shivers as his tip caresses her and she wraps her legs around his waist, wanting more of that delicious feeling.
"Yes ma'am."
Saori steels herself as they approach and was glad that she did.
She wanted to put the new kids in their place. But since she's had enough action for one day, she held back. The rookie with the scar nods towards her and Uta shakes his head disapprovingly at his actions.
"Who's the beauty?"
Uta bows to her as he walks up and Saori holds back her smirk. Uta turns to look at the rookies and growls at them for their lack of respect.
"That's lieutenant to you Masao."
"Lieutenant?!" They both shouted. They quickly catch up to Uta and bow before her, finally showing respect, which relieved Uta.
"Tachibana Masao! It's my honour to serve!" Screamed the scarred face teenager.
"Tachibana Shige! It's my honour to serve!" Yelled the blonde-haired teen, almost mimicking his oath sworn brother.
The three Lieutenants of the Midoriya Family. They were patriarchs of their own subsidiary groups but in the end, they serve their boss. Whatever Midoriya says is final. Saori frowns at the rookie's that were bowing their heads to her, she crosses her arms, a glint reflecting off her gauntlets from the street light above them.
"Do you have a problem with me?"
They both keep their heads down, knowing full well that she was testing them. Masao bows even straighter, knowing that he was the one that aggravated her in the beginning.
"N-No. Not at all, ane san." (Older sister)
Masao stands fully after finishing speaking, and he kicks Shige to follow suit. Saori snorts at their stiffness and drops the subject, wanting to leave this place as quick as she could.
"Good. Uta, I'm driving first."
Uta nods with a smirk, knowing that she has always liked his car.
"Yes ma'am."
They all get into the premium navy blue sports car without any further complaint. Uta in the front with Saori at the wheel and the rookies behind them in the backseats.
Their journey finally begins. They travelled smoothly for a while until their peaceful silence was broken by Shige, curiosity in his voice as he spoke.
"So... Where are we going?"
Uta lights his cigarette before answering him, making sure to open the window as to not suffocate them.
"We have orders from the Doctor. We're going to Tokyo."
"What why?!" Masao yells, his voice grating on Saori from how loud he was.
Uta, immediately noticing how the Lieutenants eye twitched in annoyance, tried to get them to lower their voices.
"You'll be briefed when we get there."
Shige, on the other hand, presses on, clearly wanting answers.
"What happened to the Boss?"
Uta takes a long drag from his cigarette and taps the end out of the window.
"He was taken into the hospital. We can't really check up on him, cops are crawling all over his ward."
"What?! Why are we not busting his ass out of it right now?! He's going to be put in prison!"
Masao leans into the front, dedication to the boss evident in his eyes. Whilst admirable, right now it was downright stupid.
"It's fine. Drop it, he knows what he's doing-"
The hot-headed yakuza grabs onto Saori's shoulder and pulls.
"Turn the car aroun-!"
Saori slams down hard onto the brakes, causing the car to suddenly stop without warning. The men in the back of the car fly forward and slam into the seats Uta and Saori were sat in. She comes to a full stop in the middle of the empty road and she clenches the wheel tight, her hidden knuckles undoubtedly turning white from how hard she grasped at the leather wheel. The younger members clench onto their heads after slamming into the leather and Uta readjusts his seatbelt with a sigh. Saori turns to look at the inexperienced Yakuza behind her and practically growls at them.
"If you want to disobey the Doctor's orders then go. You can tell him yourself why you're so eager to lose your fingers."
They sit back in their seats and don't move another muscle, both of them looking anywhere but at the lieutenant.
"Good."
She huffs and carries on with their journey but not without her body twitching, the adrenaline still pulsing within her veins from her shouting. Uta risks it and places a hand on her thigh and gives her a reassuring squeeze. Saori sighs and places her own hand on top of his without taking her eyes off the road, wanting nothing more than to be rid of her gauntlets, so she could feel his skin on hers once more. The yakuza behind them continue to sulk in silence, oblivious to the display of affection the two shared in front.
\ /
Twenty minutes later...
After their little quarrel, the rest of the journey so far was travelled in relative peace, with only the rookie Yakuza in the backseat talking a few times between themselves. Uta however was on edge.
He glances at the side view for the hundredth time and worriedly looks to Saori.
"They're trailing us aren't they?"
Saori nods and takes her own glance at the rearview mirror. A black car matched their speed perfectly behind them and seemed to follow their every turn. The car has been trailing them ever since they left Musutafu. At first, it trailed loosely and stayed far back. But now the driver seemed to have gained their confidence and now followed them closely by the hip.
This only means one thing.
"Who?" Masao asks, he peeks over the rear window and the car behind them suddenly speeds up. A figure could be seen leaning out of the passenger side window but he was shrouded by the darkness of the night to be seen clearly. Uta quickly tries to pull Masao down to sit down but just barely misses him.
"Don't look at them dumbass!-"
It was too late. Bullets began to spray from the other vehicle and towards them. Fortunately, the bullets only hit the car and window, missing them all by inches. Uta scrambles for Saori's seat as she drives quicker and pulls out a pistol from a hidden compartment. He haphazardly tosses it to the backseat with a couple of magazines and yells to one of the rookies who had a better view of the enemies than he did.
"Here! Get them off us!"
Masao stumbles for the pistol and leans up to take a better look out of the window. The pursuer's vehicle engine roars and Masao almost gets his head taken off from the repeated gunfire from behind them. Suddenly, a motorcyclist comes up to Saori's side of the car and pulls out a submachine gun, aiming it straight at her. Saori in retaliation activates her quirk, expanding the metal from her gauntlets to turn it into a makeshift shield to cover the window. The bullets fly off her shield and Saori swerves the main body of the car into them. The car slams against the bike, causing the rider to lose control and go off into the guard rail on the highway. Uta watches with grim satisfaction as the rider flies off his bike and smashes against the wall with a sickening crunch, completely knocked out or worse. Saori deactivates her shield and focuses on the empty highway in front, hoping that they can make it to Tokyo in time to call for help.
Shige, under all the chaos, closes his eyes and places his palms close to each other, leaving just a slight gap for a curious bright blue energy to form between them. Masao takes a few more potshots against the vehicle behind them, cussing them out as he does so.
"Come on you fucking cowards! You want some!? Have some motherfuckers!"
He stops to reload and shakes Shige harshly who was still channelling his quirk.
"Shige! Are you done yet?!"
Shige shouts at him, clearly annoyed that his focus was interrupted.
"Almost! Shut the fuck up and keep them off us!"
Masao points to the gun in his hand and shouts back at his brother but not without leaning forward slightly too high.
"What the fuck do you think I'm doing-AH!"
A bullet flies into Masao's shoulder and the blood splatters onto the seat, he drops the gun in shock and grasps at his shoulder in agony. Panic overwhelms Shige and he stops focusing on his quirk to try and help his oath sworn brother.
"Masao!"
Uta worriedly looks Masao over once before grabbing for the gun that was dropped onto the car floor.
"Fuck! You just had to do something stupid!"
Uta, with surprising skill, checks the weapon to see how many shots were in the magazine and leans slightly out of his window. He fires a single shot, his aim true, and taking out the driver whose blood platters onto the glass.
Saori glances at her rearview mirror in time to witness the car behind them swing out of control and crash into the wall, stopping their pursuit. Behind that car, however, were three more of the same vehicles, slowly gaining speed with the same clear intent of killing them.
"Oh for fucks sake-"
Saori grabs Uta by his suit and quickly drags him back in as more machinegun fire clatters against their car. Uta calls out for the uninjured rookie, knowing that his quirk could help them.
"Shige!?"
"I-I'm almost done!"
His hands were bloody but Uta knew it wasn't his. He looks to Masao who takes quick but shallow breaths, his suit was off and his shoulder was a bloody mess from Shige's shoddy attempt at healing.
"I need you to focus! Or we're all going to fucking die!"
More motorcyclists some up to the car, equipped with katanas. Both of them intending on slashing at their tyres. Saori shouts to Uta, knowing that only he could do something about both of them easily.
"Uta!"
"I'm on it!"
Shige continues to channel energy into his palms and Uta pats Saori's shoulder before he climbs out of his seat to go to the back. Saori eyes a sharp turn off the highway and quickly slams the car into a lower gear, she steers hard and taps the breaks, drifting the car into the exit that caught their pursuers off guard. The motorcyclists however stayed with them close by and Saori brakes, slowing down exponentially to make sure the tyres don't get slashed. The riders fly in front of the car on either side and they slow down to keep up with them.
Big mistake.
Uta takes this chance that was given to him and sits back, but not without forcing Shige's head down towards the seat. He stretches his arms outwards and fires off two webs from his fingers that stick to both of the motorcyclists. He makes use of their moment of shock and pulls inwards hard, causing the riders to fly off their bikes and slam into the car. Uta watches as they fall to the ground with piercing screams. The same ones that slowly die out as they gain distance from the riders, he releases his web that was still attached to them and renews his focus on cleaning up the bloody mess that was Masao's shoulder.
They finally had a period of peace. Yet, no matter how many they get rid of, more seem to take their place. The cars they lost have now gained onto them and the gunfire returned, the bullets all flying into the trunk of the car.
A single bullet flies through the rear window and scratches Saori's cheek, she winces in pain before drifting into another corner as the cars behind her begin to catch up. Uta comes back into the front after the gunfire pauses and he wipes his bloody hands onto his suit with a grin.
"If we die, I just want you to know that you were the best I ever had."
She nods and takes the car into a higher gear, going back onto the highway to gain some space. She only manages to spare Uta a single glance before turning back to the road.
"Yeah well, I kinda want you to myself."
Saori doesn't look at him, but she could see his jaw drop out of the corner of her eye. Her cheeks redden and, for a moment, she forgot that they were being hunted down like dogs.
"What?!" Uta shouts.
"I'm ready!"
Shige's hands contained a bright blue ball that hovers between his palms, it radiated an immense heat that started to singe the leather of the seats.
"Good! On my signal, use it!" Saori replies with a shout.
More bullets clatter against the back of their car and what sounds like a sudden burst of air takes their attention. One of their back wheels were gone.
Uta, however, had other things to think about.
"I thought you said it was a one-time thing!"
Saori growls as she keeps her foot down on the pedal, eyeing the sign that said 'Welcome to Tokyo'.
"Well, I take it back! Whatever! Is that a problem?!"
She lashes out harsher than she intended to, his comment angering her more than she thought it would.
Uta laughs and shakes his head, making sure to load his pistol for Saori's signal.
"Oh, it ain't a problem! I just want to know what changed!"
Shige looked between them, finding it incredibly difficult to hold the volatile energy in his hands.
"Guys?!" Shige shouts shakily, panic evident in his voice.
Saori wipes the sweat off her brow before changing into another gear.
"You were the best I ever had too! A-And I want more! Fuck off!"
Her face was fully crimson now, embarrassment written all over her face. But it felt good to say it, like a weight taken off her shoulders. Uta turns and takes a few shots against their pursuers before answering back.
"If I knew you felt like this I would've been in your room every single night!"
The energy in Shige's hands lashed out at him, his control of it finally slipping.
"GUYS!?"
Saori slams into a lower gear and turns.
"NOW!"
Saori drifts the car into a perfect 90-degree turn and Shige unleashes his quirk out of the window with a scream. His ball of blue energy turning into a devastating blue laser that purged anything it touched. He missed his beam but quickly redirected it upwards to hit the cars that trailed them. Both Saori and Uta watched in awe as the beam sliced the cars into pieces, finally bringing their hunters to a stop. The cars pile on top of each other and Shige's beam finally dies down to a spit.
Silence.
The group all take a moment to catch their breaths until Saori spots a figure standing from the rubble.
She snatches Uta's pistol and fires at the shadowy figure. The figure takes the hit to the chest and falls, but Saori doesn't relent. She empties the entire mag at the wreckage, in a fit of rage or for an actual purpose the group doesn't know. Uta shouts to her as she unleashes all of the bullets into the turned over cars.
"Saori! Stop! What are you-?!"
A bullet grazes a fuel cell and a small orange glow can be seen from afar.
Fire.
The fire creates a domino effect, causing the entire wreckage to blow up in flames dramatically within seconds. Shige laughs in glee at the destruction and he shakes Masao who dizzily nods at whatever Shige says. His happiness dies down quickly though, as he is forced to lean out of the car window and throw up his guts onto the highway road. The adrenaline proving too much for him to handle.
Uta pats Shige's back with a dried bloody hand and sighs, glad that the chaos was finally over. His pat, however, only made the younger yakuza throw up more onto the floor.
"Good job kid-Mmph!"
Saori grabs Uta by his collar and she slams her lips against his. Their teeth clunked together but neither of them cared, the kiss satisfying their immediate desires but opening up a door that flooded their senses with lust. Shige doesn't even notice their liplock and continues to empty his guts onto the highway instead. Masao was too dazed to care, high on the numbness that followed after losing so much blood.
Saori pushes Uta away eventually and huffs as she rests her head against the seat, trying to contain the heat that invaded her entire body.
"My room... After."
It was an order, one that Uta could never refuse. Uta licks his lips and adjusts himself properly in his seat, trying to hide his growing erection by shifting his legs.
"Yes ma'am."
\ /
Two hours later...
They finally arrived. Uta stretches his arms out in front of him and shakes his shoulders around before letting out a deep sigh. He wipes his face with his hand, finally feeling the exhaustion settling into his body like a tsunami. He forces himself up and with an unknown burst of energy, opens his door.
He hops out of the tow truck and hits the back door twice, waking up the rookies that were no doubt asleep. After Saori literally unleashed hell onto their pursuers, Uta drove them as far as the ruined car would let them whilst Saori made various angry calls, demanding that they receive help and for the meeting location to be changed. After an hour of dragging around a vehicular corpse, they were blessed with the towtruck that was promised to them and they quickly made the switch to the non-riddled-with-bullets-vehicle whilst dragging the mess that was Uta's car.
Saori hops out of the passenger side, heavy bags under her eyes from all the built-up stress and no sleep. Every moment of the trip felt dangerous to her, even as they travelled within friendly territory.
A mechanic steps away from the van he was working on and wipes his messy gloved hands onto his shirt but not without wolf-whistling at Saori.
"Well hello there, ane san!"
Saori blows by the mechanic with a frown on her face, too tired and irritable to be dealing with senseless flirting.
"Fuck off. I'm not in the mood."
The mechanic places an oily hand against his chest in mock hurt and turns to Uta who slowly follows behind her.
"Ouch okay. Yo, Uta what's gotten her so riled up?"
Uta held back the urge to say 'Me' and just settled for a half-arsed remark instead, letting Saori walk off first as he addresses the mechanic.
"Oh, you know. Just getting shot at, nothing unusual."
The mechanic nods his smile now replaced by a grim look as he looked over what used to be Uta's car. The back of the car was completely riddled with bullets, and the windows were all broken. Scratch marks were everywhere as well as dents, not to mention that the wheels were worn out and one of the tyres deflated at the back.
"Shame. That was a good ass ride as well."
Uta sighs dreamily, thinking back to better times when the car was brand new.
"You're telling me... There's a kid with a blown-out shoulder in the back, got hit in the run."
The mechanic gives him a worried look and points to the backseats where Shige now slowly climbs out.
"He alive?"
Uta lets out a strained laugh and pats the man on the back, regretting it as he does so when he sees oil on his hand.
"Of course he is dumbass, go help him."
"Uta!"
He turns to see Saori waiting by the main door of the garage, he shares a look with the mechanic and nods to the lieutenant who waited for him patiently.
"On my way!"
The mechanic takes off his gloves and goes over to help Shige pull out a wounded Masao from the back.
"Later Uta."
Uta catches up to Saori and he follows her as she enters the main garage office. Upon entering the office they see two figures seemingly caught up in a heated argument within the dimly lit room. One of the figures, an extremely tall foreigner who speaks with a heavy Russian accent and broken Japanese, stands from his seat, the anger clearly evident in his voice. As he stands, the dim lighting within the room reveals him, showing that he had a completely bald head that was heavily littered with various Russian tattoos, the most prominent one being a dagger within a bear's head.
"Blyad! (Fuck!) We must hunt them!" He exclaims. He smashes his fist against the office table below him and the wood breaks easily under the force of his massive fist. The smaller man within the room shakes his head at the Russian native and sighs disappointedly, almost as if he heard this same phrase far too many times.
"And do what? Get ourselves killed? Weak thinking Viktor."
Viktor turns and clamours in frustration, desperately wanting to act on the situation.
"Poshel ty na khuy Ryuji! (Fuck you Ryuji!) You have ideas?!"
Ryuji finally seems to snap as he stands up against the Russian man, coming short against him but not wavering at all.
"Oh yeah, I do. Why don't we just raze the whole of Japan for them? How smart does that sound?!"
Ryuji's voice was heavily laced with sarcasm, causing Viktor to stomp right into his face with a snarl.
"Vy smeyete izdevat'sya nado mnoy?!" (Do you to dare mock me?!)
Viktor grabs Ryuji by his shirt collar and goes for a punch, aiming straight for Ryuji's nose. A thick metal band coils itself around Viktor's arm and it tugs harshly against him, causing him to stop his punch and look to whoever dared to intervene.
Viktor gives Saori a cold glare before letting go of Ryuji with a grunt. He drops Ryuji back to the ground who just growls back at the Russian man, exasperated that he dared try and go attack him. Viktor pays no mind to him and instead addresses Saori.
"Mladshaya sestra. (Younger sister.) You have arrived."
The metal slowly unwinds itself from Viktor's arm, returning back to Saori's forearms. It slinks back down her wrists and disappears underneath her suit, before coming back out and slowly forming her signature gauntlets. She huffs and pushes some loose hair out of her face, tucking it safely behind her ear.
"I'll do you both a favour and make this quick."
Saori sits onto a table that was yet to be broken from Viktor's rage and turns her head to smile at Uta who stayed by the entrance.
"Thank you, Uta. You may go."
Uta bows in respect to the three lieutenants and awkwardly closes the door on his way out. As soon as he closes the door, he hits his head against it and finally lets go of the breath he was holding. The lieutenants were no joke. The atmosphere in that room was almost palpable, absolutely brimming with killing intent and fury. How one manages to control people like that, he would never know.
When Uta first joined the family, he never truly understood why Izuku out of all people was a patriarch.
He understands now.
After all, he witnessed first-hand what his power could do. That monstrous creature that almost tore them all apart in Oldtown was completely crushed by him. Uta moves off with newfound respect for his boss and reaches into his suit pockets, rifling through them looking for a cigarette to soothe his mind. He pulls out his box of tobacco sticks and only then does he notice the mess that was splattered all over his hands.
Disgust finds its way to his face and he turns his hands over, only just remembering that it was covered in dried blood and oil from earlier. He wanders off, looking for a bathroom to cleanse himself of the dirt. Uta finds a questionably luxurious room nearby and finds relief when he sees a bathroom through the open door, not even questioning the clothes that littered the floor as he walks in.
"Uta! Bonjour! (Hello!)"
He stops and slowly turns to see Mary, Ryuji's girlfriend, sat down in front of a mirror, applying make-up to her already pretty face. Mary was only covered with a towel and was seemingly fresh out of the shower. She waves to him with a happy smile on her face, clearly unbothered by her lack of clothing and Uta awkwardly waves to her. Fear overwhelms him and he quickly scans the room to make sure that no one will try and kill him for peeking.
"Uh... Bonjour... Mary..."
He rapidly dashes into the bathroom and leaves Mary to tend to her makeup who giggles to herself. If Ryuji found out that he just walked in on his girlfriend like this, his head was going to be served to him on a plate.

Inside the Office with the Lieutenants...
"Sestra. (Sister) You are hurt, do you need medic?"
Viktor Volkov is what many would call, a Gentle Giant. He was outrageously tall, standing fully at around 6'11 and yet also being built like a professional bodybuilder. Within the family, he is the one that controls the main muscle. Handling affairs such as protection, collections and patrols, all over their territories. Viktor's loyalty never wavers when it comes to the Family. Saori knows that he would risk life and limb to keep them all together, even if he ends up mostly fighting anything or anyone that angers him when they meet up.
Saori waves the older bearded man off, signalling that she was fine as Ryuji lights a cigarette in the corner of the office.
"Did you get a good look at them?" Asks Ryuji, he sits in an uncomfortable-looking office chair and lays his legs up on top of his own table.
Saori shakes her head no and Ryuji rubs his temples with his one free hand, irritated from their lack of information.
Morita Ryuji was the handler for business. He was the one who set up the many clubs in Tokyo, the ramen chains over Japan, even dabbling in trading with other groups such as the Mafia and the Triads overseas. He seemed only loyal to Izuku, not essentially caring about the family as much as Viktor does. Ryuji lives the lifestyle of a playboy, splashing obscene amounts of money on luxury items and having casual relationships with multiple girls. However, a recent rumour claims that Ryuji has given up his relationships and has now dedicated himself to a lady of foreign origins.
"No. I couldn't see them, I was too busy driving and keeping the boys alive to worry about that."
Saori fumbles at the clasps of her gauntlet.
"The chasers. Are they dead?"
She snorts and nods, just the slightest amount of venom in her voice.
"I'll be surprised if any of them survived."
Viktor leans in with an intense gaze, wondering who would dare attack his sacred family.
"Where are they?"
Saori takes off both of her gauntlets and places them down beside her, massaging her forearms afterwards.
"Caught up in an explosion, so probably just ashes."
Viktor belts out in laughter, even smacking his knee a few times from how hilarious he found the situation to be. He wipes the tears from his eyes after his laughing fit and gives Saori a wide toothy grin.
"Sestra! (Sister!) You are, true warrior!"
He smacks his hand down onto the ruined table in approvement with the same grin and Ryuji takes an extra-long drag from his cigarette.
"This means we are still in the dark. Where did they follow you from?"
Saori stretches her arms above her head, sighing as the bones popped satisfyingly.
"Musutafu. We haven't covered much of it yet and progress is slow."
Ryuji swaps his legs around so that the other was on the bottom.
"Must be why the Doc wants us down there then."
Viktor agrees with a bob of his head.
"Now more than ever, yes? Our leader is recu... Recuper..."
Saori smirks at Viktor's attempt at using a more complex word and decides to help out.
"Recuperating?"
Viktor nods and tries his best to pronounce the word to the best of his abilities.
"Yes! Resupercating!"
Ryuji chuckles and stabs his finished cigarette into the ashtray beside him.
"Close enough."
"The doctor says that he will brief us all personally. So get there by tomorrow."
"Then why come here yourself? Why not just call?" Ryuji questions.
Saori gives Ryuji a deadpan look.
"Viktor is too paranoid to use phones, and I doubt you would be willing to meet anyone else other than me or Uta. Not to mention, you're the only one who can actually contact Viktor besides the boss."
"Then just send Uta."
She shakes her head and crosses her arms across her chest, almost expressing her protective nature for the Captain of her subsidiary family.
"Wherever I go. He follows."
Ryuji smirks and claps his hands slowly.
"Wow. What a pair. Gonna get married as well?"
Viktor stands in a mild panic at the mention of marriage.
"Marriage?! No no, sestra! (sister) You must ask for my word!"
Saori rolls her eyes at the older man who was adamant about protecting her.
"You won't give it to me Viktor."
He nods in agreement and hits his hands together.
"Yes! I know!"
Ryuji laughs and Saori just groans, what was he? Her father?
She turns back to Ryuji and manages to see a few hickeys on the side of the smaller man's neck.
"And what about you? Who is the special lady that got you so wrapped up?"
Ryuji looks up to the ceiling dreamily and smiles.
"The love of my life..."
"So it's true?"
He bows his head and sighs happily.
"Mary Beaumont... I'm going to propose to her soon."
Both Lieutenants snort at that idea, the playboy was finally being tamed.
"Really? You? Settling down?"
"After all the shit with Toudou blows over... Yeah. If the boss doesn't need me of course."
Ryuji motions for someone in the shadows to come to him and the shadow literally moves to him. It was a shadow of a man but it travelled along the floor, it holds up a phone from its arm shadow and Ryuji gratefully takes the device with a small thank you. He dials a number and doesn't even need to wait for it to ring as the other end picks up almost immediately.
"Ken! How you doing my friend!"
There was a pause before he continued.
"Oh that's good, that's good. Listen, I'm gonna be out of town for a little bit. So I need someone to cover for me at work..."
He takes his legs off of the back of the table and leans forwards in his seat, both Viktor and Saori share a bored look between each other and Ryuji just smiles at them. Rubbing his fingers together in a sign of money.
"Oh, that's great! I'll let you know when I'll be back!... Alright. Later!"
He throws the phone into the corner of the shadow and it disappears into the void, not even making a sound.
"Gotta make sure business doesn't dry up."
Viktor grunts an affirmative and turns to Saori.
"When you leave?"
Saori checks her nails over and picks up her gauntlets from the table as she stands, prepared to go and sleep for a whole day.
"I'm gonna sleep here. I'll leave in the afternoon when it's safer, I just hope that they won't try and do something when there are civilians around."
All of a sudden a dazzlingly beautiful blonde foreigner gingerly opens the office door and Ryuji smirks at the sight of her.
"Mon amour?" (My love?) Ryuji gasps as she struts over to him.
Mary was clothed in a velvet dress that clung to her curves tightly, she sits in his lap which only manages to morph Ryuji's smirk into a grin. She wraps her arms around his neck as she lowers herself and gives him a peck before leaning back to look at him closely. So this is the woman Saori thinks to herself. She could see why Ryuji was so smitten with her, she had looks that could cause people to go to war for her.
"Oui chérie?" (Yes darling?)
Ryuji's hands travel slowly down her waist to cup her butt and Saori rolls her eyes at the sight. Viktor just straight up leaves the room, having seen enough of their antics. He mutters something in Russian as he walks off, nothing good from how bitter he sounded.
"Que pensez-vous d'aller dans une nouvelle ville?" (How do you feel about going to a new city?)
Mary's eyes light up in joy and she covers her mouth with her hands, holding back her squeal.
"Vraiment?! Comme c'est excitant!" (Really?! How exciting!")
Ryuji speaks to Saori but never takes his eyes off of the woman in his lap.
"Expect us sometime in the afternoon, little sister. We are gonna... See the sights one last time."
Ryuji grabs a hold of Mary's chin and gently lowers her lips to his, capturing them in a feverish kiss.
Saori quickly leaves the room, not wanting to bear witness to their lovemaking any more than she has already seen. Glad that it was finally over, she stretches one more time before looking for her Captain. She wanted some comfort for the night, the kiss they shared in the car still on her mind.
She enters the main garage room to see Uta, playing cards with other Yakuza. She places a hand on his shoulder as she walks past and gives him a look that made Uta blink twice. He nods slowly and places his cards down on the table, the other Yakuza not even questioning why he's going.
"I had a bad hand anyways."
He trails her and Saori smirks, making sure to sway her hips as she walks upstairs with Uta behind her.

Next day...
Izuku awakens to find his entire body stiff. He groans and uses his one good arm to cover his eyes from the sun that invaded his sleep. He tries his best to fall asleep again but fails miserably, the sun disturbing him of his slumber. After a while of tossing and turning, he gives up and flails his arm out, looking around him to remind himself of where he was. He was in Ryuko's penthouse and he was also alone in bed. Izuku sighs and looks over to the digital clock on Ryuko's bedside table, taking note that it was still early morning.
She couldn't be far.
The doctors of the hospital reluctantly let him go after Tsukauchi and the police explained the situation to him. He felt lucky. Truly lucky. Working for his girlfriend for three months didn't seem that bad at all, rather he saw it as more of a vacation. This doesn't mean that he wouldn't check up on his family, rather the opposite. Izuku intends on briefing himself up to date with the Doctor at least once a week. Not to mention that he kept his transponder on him at all times.
There was also the issue of his ruined tattoo...
Izuku sits up with great difficulty and groans as everything in his body complained, he takes a moment to get used to the aches and carefully stands to try and find his girlfriend. He wobbles as he walks and he chuckles to himself. He really should train more. The mirror opposite him showed that most of his torso was still covered in bandages and his left arm was wrapped in a thin cast that restricted movement. He was glad that he at least had the decency to put on some shorts before going to sleep since in the hospital all he was offered was a ridiculous gown that he refused to wear.
Izuku struggles into the main living room and was blessed with the sight of Ryuko in a satin bed gown cooking breakfast. He watches her for a while, as he rests against the wall, and smiles to himself. He must really seem like a weirdo at the moment.
Ryuko turns to grab the plates on the counter behind her and gasps at the sight of Izuku limping against the wall. She swiftly turns the heat off and goes to his side, helping him walk to the counter by the kitchen.
"What are you doing?! You should stay in bed!"
Izuku pouts slightly and Ryuko sighs, giving up on trying to lecture him.
"I got lonely. Wanted to know where you were."
Ryuko smiles and sits him down on a chair by the counter, kissing him on his cheek before going back to plate the food she cooked for them.
"Eggs, bacon and toast good for you?"
"Perfect. Thank you."
In one fluid movement, she plates the food and the toast pop up out of the toaster just on time. She pushes his plate over to him and she goes to pick up the toast.
"So, excited to be my assistant for three months?"
Izuku smirks at Ryuko who gives him a smirk of her own. She places a piece of toast onto his plate and hands him a fork, along with placing two cups of steamy green tea near him. Izuku takes a bite of his bacon before nodding to her question.
"I can't wait. Lets me know what you actually do during your breaks."
Ryuko sits right next to Izuku and takes a sip of her green tea with a smile.
"I'm afraid it's going to be just me being questioned by the media. After all, I've worked without a hands-on assistant all this time."
Izuku groans. He completely forgot about the media. The unwanted fame is definitely going to make his life harder. He had to hand it to the police, a prison sentence at this point sounded better to him.
"Do I have to talk to them?"
Ryuko shrugs as she bites into her toast.
"You can pretend to be mute if you want."
Izuku thinks about it for a while and shakes his head.
"Yeah but, I kind of like the sound of my voice."
Ryuko rolls her eyes at him and he chuckles in amusement before taking a bite of the fluffy scrambled eggs Ryuko so expertly cooked.
"Have you told your sister about... Your situation yet?"
At the mention of Ichika, Izuku's face drops and Ryuko turns to him worriedly.
"Oh fuck... I was meant to be at dinner yesterday."
The realisation hits Ryuko and she looks to the table, searching for his phone.
"Is your phone here?"
He nods and clutches his head, mentally berating himself for missing something so important.
"Yeah, on the desk in your room."
Ryuko bites her lip and takes a sip of her drink before standing.
"You know, I wouldn't mind if you said our room."
Ryuko wipes her lips with a tissue before planting another kiss on his cheek, allowing Izuku to dwell on what she said for a moment as she goes to pick up his phone. A light blush appears on Izuku's cheeks as what she said finally dawns on him. It felt special. Like she wanted to skip everything else and just get to the part where they elope. Izuku grins to himself and takes a large bite of his toast, finding that he couldn't stop the sudden surge of happiness that ambushed him.
Ryuko comes out of the bedroom with his phone in hand and plants yet another kiss on his cheek as she sits down. He raises an eyebrow at her but she acts like she didn't even do anything and just turns back to her breakfast. She notices his stare after a while and holds back the smile that slowly inched its way onto her face.
"What?"
He laughs and just reaches for his phone, now frowning at the number of calls and texts that were sent his way.
"Gods, I'm such an idiot."
"Agreed~"
Ryuko gives him a sneaky smile before popping the last bite of toast into her mouth. Izuku chuckles and just shakes his head, no energy in him for a retort after seeing her cute smile.
"How am I gonna respond to... All of this?"
He scrolls through all of the texts and calls, trying to wrack his brain for an answer. Ryuko never had the proper chance to learn about Izuku's family, only knowing the basic things such as Ichika being a super fan of all Heroes.
Wait...
"I have an idea."
Ryuko swallows her bite of eggs and puts her fork down.
"You do?"
She takes Izuku's phone and immediately switches to the camera. She adjusts her headband on properly before kissing Izuku's cheek and snapping a picture of her in the act. Ryuko hurriedly makes sure that the image wasn't blurry so that she could be seen and then quickly scrolls through Izuku's contacts before he could stop her.
"W-wha-?"
Before Izuku knew it, Ryuko presses 'Send' with a grin.
"Done."
She hands him the phone back and Izuku looks at it with a dumbfounded look.
"Did you just-?"
Ryuko sneakily takes a piece of Izuku's bacon whilst he was distracted and winks with the one visible eye he could see.
"Maybe."
Izuku's phone was instantly bombarded with new texts, and he looks down to see Ichika typing messages to him at amazing speeds.
'IS THAT RYUKYU?'
'WHEN?'
'YOU'RE DATING?!'
'WHY DID YOU NOT TELL ME?'
'IS THIS WHY YOU WEREN'T AT DINNER?'
'I WON'T TELL MOM, DON'T WORRY'
'OMMGMGMG WHY DIDN'T YOUJ SAYYU?'
'I WAS SO WORRIED BUT ITS OKAY'
'JUST LET ME KLNOWWWWWW'
Ryuko looks over Izuku's shoulder and laughs at the messages.
"See? It worked."
Izuku puts his phone down onto the counter and grasps Ryuko's face making her gasp in surprise. He doesn't give her any time to prepare and startles her with a loving kiss. Ryuko smiles into their kiss, making sure to wrap her arms around his neck to deepen their contact. When they part, she kisses his cheek once more and secretly swipes another slice of bacon from his plate with her hand. Only this time, Izuku catches her wrist and he forces her to put the bacon in his mouth. Practically feeding himself from her fingers, his eyes never leaving hers as he does so.
Ryuko gulps, finding the action incredibly hot and erotic. Her cheeks immediately flush a deep shade of crimson and Izuku chuckles as she looks away. He leans into her for another kiss but Ryuko places her hand against Izuku's mouth, stopping him.
"No sex. At least for a week anyway."
Izuku nods but gives her a suggestive look making Ryuko roll her eyes at his behaviour.
"So you're telling me to hold back? Tease~"
He pushes against her hand harder, wanting another kiss to rile her up. Ryuko stammers as Izuku makes his aggressive advances against her, suddenly feeling quite embarrassed for mentioning sex.
"S-Stop! Sto- Mmph!"
Unbeknownst to Izuku, Ryuko didn't only send the picture to Ichika. Ryuko's phone beeped nearby, the message finally coming through that a picture has arrived.

Four Days Later...
Ryuko hums along to the upbeat music that plays on her phone as she brushes her hair in the bathroom, a wide smile on her face. Today was going to be a special day for her and the agency, after all. The 'Hands-on-assistant' that she and her team has kept hidden from the public ever since their announcement was finally going to be seen for the first time as she comes back to her usual patrol runs. She adjusts her jeans slightly and turns a few times in the mirror, checking to see if the black vest she's wearing still fits her figure or not.
Izuku's job was a relatively easy one. For someone of his calibre anyways.
His job entailed light paperwork, escorting her to meetings with other agencies, accompanying her on patrols and making the media back off whenever they get too nosy. Easy enough, right?
Ryuko shakes her mascara a few times before pulling out the wand and applying it to her lashes masterfully. Out of the corner of her eye, she notices Izuku coming into the bathroom who was most definitely looking for his phone. Clad in only his black suit pants and socks, leaving his extremely toned chest bare for her to see.
"Hey babe, have you seen my phone?"
Ryuko admires Izuku for a moment. His torso has healed nicely over the last few days, save for a few red marks that remained from the more serious wounds. The cast that he was forced to wear on his left arm has now been removed, only being replaced by bandages that cover the whole length of his forearm. All in all. He looked great. Ryuko continues adding mascara to her lashes as she responds, her eyes glued to the mirror so that she wouldn't mess it up.
"It's by your toothbrush."
She pulls back after finishing one eye and lifts her headband so that it holds up her fringe, giving her access to the other eye that was usually hidden behind her long locks of hair. Izuku takes this chance to stroll by and place a hand on her hip before planting a kiss on her cheek, his phone in hand.
"Thank you."
He goes back out into the bedroom and Ryuko couldn't resist teasing him as he walks out.
"You gonna go to work dressed like that?"
He turns and shrugs with a grin, picking up a neatly folded shirt from her closet.
"Only if you want me to."
Ryuko waves him off with a smile and refocuses on her makeup with a happy sigh.
Outside, Izuku lays the shirt onto the bed and reaches over to Ryuko's bedside desk to grab his tie. But, instead of grasping the silk, he grasps at something harder. Something that had sharp ends and was cold to the touch. He looks over and sees that he missed the tie and instead had Ryuko's claw in hand. He picks up the claw with piqued curiosity and juggles it in his hands, finding interest in how incredibly light it was compared to her older claws.
He activates his quirk and holds it in midair within range of his barrier, flipping it over in the thin veil of green energy with amusement etched across his features. He smothers it with his energy and pushes the claw away from him.
Wait...
He watches in amazement as the claw slowly floats in the air, as if it was just flying in space, before dropping to the ground with a thud.
What just happened?

With Ryuko a few minutes later...
Ryuko changes into her hero garb swiftly, with one final adjustment to her hair she steps out of the bathroom before noticing that she was missing a vital piece of equipment. She calls out for Izuku who should be ready by now.
"Izuku have you seen my... Claw..."
She found her claw, but not where she expected it to be. It was suspended in the air, covered in a hue of bright, vicious green energy. Izuku physically strains and squeezes his eyes shut as he focuses on keeping the object afloat. The energy wafted from his outstretched right arm, slowly drifting through the air before joining the mass of energy around her claw. Suddenly, he flexes his fingers and the claw slowly raises higher into the air. Ryuko watches on in astonishment and slowly walks around to get to the bed, not wanting to break his concentration.
Whatever Izuku was doing with his quirk, it was incredibly taxing on him. Sweat began to drip from his forehead and his arm started to convulse unnaturally. The ball of energy surrounding her claw burst, causing Izuku to seemingly grunt in pain. Ryuko panics and wraps her arms around his shoulders trying to pull him out of his focused state.
"Izuku!?"
He snaps out of his daze and gasps for air, the claw now falling to the ground with a thud. The nearby energy that once enclosed the object having now dispersed into the air like a warm breath in winter. He falls back but Ryuko is there to catch him. She rests his body against her own whilst she looks him over, searching for anything wrong.
"You okay?"
He nods, completely winded.
"Y-Yeah... Just let me..."
Ryuko gets the idea and patiently waits for him to take a moment to breathe. Izuku wipes the sweat from his brow with a smile and sits up, trying to not test the migraine that just recently left his head.
"I uh... Found it."
Ryuko laughs before sitting next to him, the troubled look still etched across her face.
"Yes... You did. What were you doing?"
She looks back to her claw that laid dormant on the floor as if waiting for the item to suddenly float with renewed vigour.
"I don't really know... I guess it's just-"
Ryuko finishes his sentence with a smirk.
"-Making things float?"
Izuku winces as the headache returned, though not as strong as before.
"Basically."
Ryuko rubs his still naked back with her hand in an attempt to comfort him.
"You okay for patrol?" She asks, now picking up the shirt that was on the bed and handing it to him.
"I'm more than okay. Just let me dress up, or were you serious about me going without a shirt?"
He pauses as if he was actually taking Ryuko's question earlier seriously. In response, Ryuko just pinches his cheek gently as she goes over to pick up the claw. It was warm to the touch and some of Izuku's trademark green energy still lingered from it.
"Come on. You don't want to be late for your first day do you?"

At the Agency...
"Ryukyu! Over here! Can we get an interview?!"
"Can we talk to Midoriya-san?!"
"Midoriya-san! This way! Please look this way!"
Ryuko waves to the media that flooded outside the agency with a smile whilst Izuku tiredly follows behind her. The fame that followed for being a hero was something that he definitely did not miss.
"What am I? A celebrity?" He whispers to himself as they approach the main doors of the agency.
Ryuko manages to hear his whisper and giggles into her hand as they enter the building, ignoring the media that was wailing for them outside.
"Welcome back~"
He follows his girlfriend as she leads him to the elevator, passing by a few heroes and employees that watch Izuku with curious eyes. They enter the elevator on their own and Ryuko taps for the seventeenth floor. Only as the elevator doors closed did Izuku lean against the wall and sigh, finally glad to be away from the attention.
Ryuko turns and grins at him, sensing his frustration already.
"You'll survive, it's just three months."
Izuku hums as he looks Ryuko up and down, suddenly feeling quite mischievous. Right before they reach their floor, he grasps Ryuko by her waist and pulls her into him, causing her to gasp in surprise. He kisses her with an intensity that she so desperately missed, making Ryuko moan as he presses further into her. He forces her against the wall and clips off her claw that was attached to her face, allowing himself more room to kiss her.
"W-Wait! Izuk-Mmph!"
He doesn't listen and continues to caress her lips with his own. Ryuko tries to resist him, but all that comes out of her mouth were moans that urged him on. He dips his tongue inside her, exploring her warm wet cavern with perverted intentions. Ryuko brings her own tongue into the mix, fighting his tongue off with hers in an intense duel.
A ping from the elevator tells them they have arrived.
Izuku parts away from her quickly and clips her claw back onto her face with a wink, he then walks out of the elevator with a stoic look as if the last fifteen seconds didn't happen at all. Ryuko cautiously follows him whilst fanning her cheeks, not wanting anyone to see the redness that has found its way to her face.
Down on the lowest floor, the receptionist covers her mouth as she watches the live security footage with wide eyes. She quickly turns back to her computer, trying her best to forget the intense make-out session she did not mean to witness. Suddenly, what seems to be a newsgroup walk up to the desk with cameras and microphones and a neatly dressed male presenter comes up to her with a smile.
"Hey uh. I want to make an appointment with Ryukyu? It's just a short interview that would take ten minutes."
The receptionist jumps in surprise and quickly checks the schedule for the day with a light blush.
"O-Oh! Uhm... Sorry but, all of the times have been fully booked for today. The closest available time would be in two days time. Is that okay with you?"
"TWO DAYS?!"

On a certain beach in Musutafu in the evening...
Ichika sits against the sand as she watches the sunset, having just finished her daily run and now resting to catch her breath. She welcomes the light breeze that blows by her face with a smile and takes a deep breath in. Ichika especially enjoyed these quiet moments, it gave her time to be alone with her thoughts. The last few months felt incredibly surreal to her. Sometimes, she still pinches herself just to make sure that she wasn't dreaming.
Not to mention her brother. He was dating Ryukyu! The Dragoon hero that she looked up to! And now he works for her! She rests her arms behind her onto the sand and leans backwards.
If this was a dream, she's not sure if she ever wanted to wake up. She lifts her right arm up to the sun and silently admires the rose gold bracelet her brother gave her a while ago. He was right. She would grow into it.
"Done already?"
Ichika jumps from the sand and screams in surprise, turning to face her visitor who has managed to sneak up on her.
"N-Nii san?!"
Izuku stands cooly nearby with his suit jacket in his hands. He smiles at her and reaches out with both arms as if motioning for a hug. Ichika doesn't hesitate and immediately jumps into his arms with a hug to his midriff. He twirls her around with a laugh and finally comes to a stop on the sand.
"You're here?! How? How did you know where I was?!" Ichika asks, her voice buzzing with elation.
Izuku winks at her, motioning over his shoulder in the direction of their home.
"I asked our mother. Duh."
They sit onto the sand side by side and Ichika, who now rests her head on his shoulder with a happy smile on her features, sighs contently. They watch the sunset in silence for a while, until Ichika decides to break their peacefulness.
"I missed you, you know."
Izuku holds Ichika closer by her shoulder and nods with a sad look.
"I know. I'm sorry for not coming by sooner."
Ichika shakes her head vigorously, not meaning to make her brother feel guilty at all.
"It's okay! Really! I was just... Surprised. I mean! Ryukyu! Wow!"
Izuku grins and lays down onto the sand beneath him.
"Uh-huh."
"I mean she's Ryukyu! How did you two meet?! Who confessed?... Wait no let me guess! Was it you?!"
He shakes his head no with a smug grin, memories of when Ryuko kissed him on his mind.
"We met years ago during my hero course and technically... She confessed to me."
"Woah... Why did you never tell me!"
"Because before then she was what I considered to be my best friend. Besides you of course."
Ichika gasps, realisation as to what her brother was currently doing.
"Does this mean you're a hero now?!"
Izuku chuckles and Ichika pouts.
"Not quite. I only have a provisional still, so I'm only allowed to do minor things."
"You're allowed on patrols though? I read the Hero news! You looked so cool when you stopped that villain from robbing the store!"
Ichika practically had stars in her eyes as she babbled about Izuku's earlier exploits. Izuku laughs and ruffles her hair which was up in a ponytail, only causing it to flay out of her bobble. He pats to the warm sand beneath him and Ichika lays down next to him after undoing her hair, both of them watching as the clouds passed by slowly.
"So... Excited for the sports festival?"
Ichika fumbles with her hands out of anxiousness.
"I'm kinda nervous. I mean! The U.A sports festival. THE U.A sport's festival! It's a dream come true!"
Izuku rests his head on his hands and chuckles at Ichika's enthusiasm.
"I'll be rooting for you. So try your best, alright?"
He holds up his hand in a fist and Ichika returns the gesture by bumping her closed fist with his, a wide grin on her face.
"Hai!"
The siblings chatter amongst themselves for a while, until they both hear the soft patter of footsteps behind them. A voice calls out nearby when they get close, clearly feminine.
"There you are."
Both Midoriya's turn to the new voice behind them. Ryuko, dressed in a hoodie and jeans, walks with her shoes in hand as well as a white grocery bag in the other.
"This beach is quite big you know, it took me a while to find you."
Ichika felt like she was going to pass out. Her mouth stays agape as Ryuko comes closer, the Dragoon hero only now noticing the shock on the girl's face and producing a grin of her own.
"Hello! I think this is the first time we have met. Your brother has told me a lot about you."
Ryuko sits next to Ichika and gives Izuku a smile who takes the bag from her.
"This is a dream... This is a dream..."
Ryuko laughs and stretches her arms out as she admires the sunset on the horizon.
"Is it a good dream?"
Ichika nods slowly.
"The best."
Izuku rummages into the bag with glee.
"It definitely is the best. Look!"
He pulls out what seemed to be three ice cream cones.
"Ryuko got Ice-cream!"
AN: Thank you for reading. See you later for the Sports Festival, and for a... Mad... Dog...
