At the end of "Voyager: 50 years on" the starship Voyager finally returns to Earth. What happens next?
#####################
Six months earlier Captain Tom Paris brought the USS Voyager in to land at the Starfleet Edwards Space Port in California. The crew of Voyager were kept in seclusion for a while, Captains Kim and Paris, together with Commander Torres, spoke to the media through Starfleet.
Eventually, after thorough medical checks and a high-speed introduction to 25th century life, the Voyager crew were allowed to leave. All the Voyager crew members over the age of 14 were either cadets or Starfleet officers, they had had no choice of careers. Everyone was given six months to decide what they wanted to do next, did they want to stay in Starfleet? Gradually the 50 year old Voyager family dispersed to an uncertain future, although they promised to meet up again before the six months were up.
In the mean time Starfleet scientists and engineers did a microscopic examination of Voyager, somewhat amazed by the additional technology that had accreted over the fifty years. They were soon working hard in trying to figure out how to adapt some of these Voyager additions so they could used on other Starfleet vessels.

Just before the six months were up Captain Harry Kim met up with his First Officer Commander Naomi Wildman.
"Hello Captain"
"Hi Naomi, good to see you, how have you enjoyed living on a planet these last six months?"
"Its all been rather strange, especially as I don't know anyone outside the Voyager family, the biggest difference has been experiencing weather. I am looking forward to getting back into space again, Kes and Neelix want to come with me. How about you Captain?"
"Unlike the rest of the crew I do have people here on Earth who remember me. My parents are long dead but I have met up with some cousins. I got to meet up with my old girlfriend Libby. She has been happily married for 45 years and she now has two children and five grandchildren. I told her about Annika and Magnus."
"What are your children going to do?"
"They want to be scientists, they will be starting their studies at Harvard next month. I am going to stay here and work at Starfleet Academy, I might go on some training voyages but after fifty years on one ship I think I have had enough space travel for this lifetime."
"How about Captain Paris and Commander Torres?"
"They are enjoying the new lease of life they got from the Enterprise medical staff, they are having fun in their retirement telling the tale of Voyager's fifty year journey."
"How many of the crew want to return to space?"
"A lot of the younger crew members, those with young children who never went through cadet training on Voyager want to bring up their families on a planet. Most of the older children of Voyager want to continue in Starfleet. Captain Sek is taking on some of us on as crew on the Enterprise."
"What are you going to do?"
"I will be second officer, Kathryn Chakotay will be helm officer and Miral Paris will be assistant chief engineer."
"How about Jonathan Tuvok, is he going to serve with his brother."
"No, he wants to spend some time on Vulcan, find out something about his father's culture. What about The Doctor?"
"He has been over at Starfleet medical telling his tale, they are using him to design the latest version of EMH. He got to meet with his creator Dr. Zimmerman, he is still alive aged 90. He will be at the Voyager reunion party tomorrow."
"It is going to be good to see everyone again."
"It certainly will be Naomi."
