Cookie: It sounds like an interesting story idea, but I probably won't write it. Most of he stories I start I don't finish and that's fine because I neve promised anyone I would. So I will probably not do story suggestions/commissions. Sorry :(
Shit goes down in this chapter. Enjoy~
"LUFFY!" Sanji and Zoro screamed. Luffy grunted. There was no going back now. A normal human couldn't handle this. He used his wings to push himself off of the rock, which was sizzling away from his acidic blood. The hole in his stomach closed, leaving his torso bare and showing all of his markings to anyone that was alive and awake.
Luffy looked around, breathing heavily and Zoro and Sanji ran to him. Both of them were okay, he didn't see any blood. "What happened? Why was there an explosion?" There were students everywhere, littering the ground. Many were bleeding badly.
"Everyone!" Luffy screamed when he saw many of their classmates on the ground. The battlefield was silent. Only Luffy, Zoro and Sanji were left. He ran to them, finding Midoriya was semi-conscious. "Midoriya! Are you alright? Oh no, what happened!?"
There was a creepy laughing coming from the middle of the arena. He flew to the nearest peak and looked down. It was a fat, hairy man. His face gave Luffy the creeps. Zoro and Sanji landed next to him. "Who the fuck is that? Oi! Fatass, why'd you do this?!" Zoro demanded.
"Oh! There's three little monsters now. I'm pretty sure I only summoned one," he said. "Zehahaha!" Luffy's face went blank. This was the guy that summoned him? Ripped him away from his home world when he was a tiny baby? He balled his fists.
He demanded to know what he wanted. "I want you. I'll take three, since they're all here. Really, the old man has grown weak. How is he number one, now?" Luffy glared furiously.
"Pops is not weak! You're weak if you attacked a ton of kids for no reason!" Luffy raged. Everyone was unconscious besides Midoriya, who couldn't even stand, looking dazed. The guy laughed, grinning at him. It was the ugliest smile Luffy had ever seen or imagined he'd ever see. "Who are you?!"
"My name is Blackbeard. Nice to meet you. I heard you took out that lousy League of Villains? And All For One was beaten, too. What weaklings," Blackbeard chuckled under his breath. "What a treasure you are, Luffy," the man said in a greedy and creepy voice.
Luffy bristled, not understanding the situation. It was clear this was a villain, but how did he know Pops? How did he know what Luffy was? Well, he said he'd summoned him. He knew who Luffy was but how did he know Luffy took out the League? Sanji yelled at him to not say Luffy's name in such a slimy way.
Both of his friends were livid, and Luffy could tell they were thinking how Luffy had at USJ. Protect them, protect them. They both wanted to protect the three of them together. Luffy turned back to the enemy. "Why have you come here?! Why did you hurt all these innocent people?!"
Blackbeard raised his brows in a mocking way. "That's not how a demon should be speaking. Caring for others, humans? You're not part of that, you never will be. But if you come with me, I'll give you power." All three of them shouted "Fuck you!" at the same time. Blackbeard didn't seem bothered.
"I see you polluted two humans, huh?" Luffy frowned. Zoro and Sanji were furious. "Well, it's your fault they will get caught up in this. Say goodbye to everyone here, little demon trio. Sink into a world of darkness!" Blackbeard screamed. Luffy started to sink into the ground, looking down to see it was a black mass. He tried flying up, but it wouldn't let him.
"No! Don't take them, too!" Luffy screamed when he saw Zoro and Sanji sinking.
"Sorry, little monster. I want them now as much as I want you," he said in a dark whisper, and the three were in a world of darkness, barely hearing Midoriya scream their names. Luffy screamed as he fell through the pitch black, not knowing where he'd land, if there was a place to land. But no sound came. He couldn't say a thing or make a sound.
There wasn't even sound when he hit a solid surface, though it was still black. Zoro, Sanji!
We're here! The fuck is this?! Zoro's voice shouted. I can't hear or smell a thing! It's a void. We trapped in a void.
Shit! Well, Midoriya was awake, somebody had to have heard! Whitebeard will learn and they'll come get us. Who is this guy?
I- I don't know. I think I've heard 'Blackbeard' before, but I can't remember. Pops, Marco, nobody said anything about this guy! He fell to his knees. He tried making a portal, but it was tiny and weak, and closed up immediately. He put all of his energy into it, and shoved a hand through. The portal constricted it, tighter and tighter until his hand was severed. He screamed but no sound came.
He held the bleeding stump, but it healed and regrew. He cried in relief. Well, now the Whitebeards had Luffy's severed hand in the lobby. That should be enough to make them realize something was wrong. I'm sorry. That you got dragged into this.
Don't you fucking dare start blaming yourself for this prick's actions. Do you understand me? I can't see you in this, but if you start, I'll find you and beat the shit out of you.
Zoro! What is wrong with you?!
Luffy is our fucking family and I don't want him regretting being our friend. It's not just you who hurts when you apologize for being our friends! How do you think we feel?
I… I'm sorry, I never meant it against you. I just don't want to cause you trouble!
Luffy, we chose to stick with you. It's our choice, and even you, as strong as you are, can't take that away. So don't regret being our friend because we don't regret being yours. We'll figure this out together. Okay?
Luffy sobs were silent. Okay. His voice sounded calm, but he was a mess.
Stop crying. I can tell you're crying, knock it off.
Zoro, stop. He's happy. Why are you acting like this?
He called Luffy a monster! He belittled him! Blamed him for problems that aren't his! I won't stand for that. I'm gonna kill him!
How… How did he summon me? What is his quirk? Marco told me that the one who summoned me was dead, and I could never go back. I'm so confused. It's dark, it's too dark. I'm scared. I can't be scared.
There's nothing wrong with being scared.
Yeah. I'm scared underneath my fury. But what kind of quirk is this. It's like it swallowed everything. I can feel a solid surface beneath me, but it looks as fucking dark as everywhere else!
Guys… this guy is bad news. I feel on edge. I have chills. Ah! Shit.
What? What happened?
I morphed. I'm in full demon mode right now. I'm trying to go back, but nothing is happening! We have to try and get out, but there's nowhere to go. Hang on, I'm gonna try and find you.
Luffy moved his tail around, spreading his wings and reaching his front legs out. He touched one that grabbed onto his tail. Then another. Do you feel me?
Yeah.
Get on, I'm going to try and get out. I don't want to just sit still and do nothing, even if there is no way out. Both of them climbed onto Luffy and sat right behind his head on his thick and furry neck. He started walking in one direction. It was scary just walking. Not knowing if there was a surface in front of him or he'd fall into nothing again, not knowing when or where he'd land.
What will we do when we get back? Even if nobody was awake but Midoriya, surely there would be cameras. Everyone will probably know our secrets when we get back. What'll happen to us?
The other two were silent. Zoro and Luffy had no response besides, I don't know.
Whatever happens, it's us together now. I'm not gonna be surprised if we get outta here and I got horns and a tail. Luffy told him not to jinx him. C'mon, people know already, why not look fuckin' badass, too?
No, if I look like that ladies may be afraid of me.
Who cares?
I do! Luffy laughed silently, though they could feel the vibrations of his body beneath them. He padded forward, his clawed hands and feet making zero sound. It was unnerving, the utter lack of anything in here. The only lifeline was feeling two other people with him. He wasn't completely alone.
Anybody see or sense anything? Luffy asked. It really was handy they could speak like that. They said it was just empty blackness. Is this a pocket dimension, do you think?
It may be. It would explain why there is nothing but black space in here. It's lucky there is at least oxygen or we'd suffocate, Sanji said.
Luffy walked for a long time, making it nowhere. There was nothing here. He could be walking in circles, they wouldn't know. It would be faster to try and fly. Hold on tight, I'm going to try flying. They agreed, but when he jumped to fly, he just fell back down. There's no air. I can't fly if there's no air. What… where the fuck are we?!
Nobody had an answer to that. Luffy started trying to dig into the surface beneath him, but it didn't break. There was nothing to do and nowhere to go. They were useless. They couldn't use any of their senses besides touch, they couldn't fly, nothing. There's nothing here. How long have I been walking?
I don't know. I wasn't keeping track.
I wasn't either. Do either of you have a phone on you?
No, why would we have phones? We were in our costumes!
You don't have pockets? I've been carrying my phone around. I thought everyone did.
No, Zoro. Not all of us want to destroy our phones. Do you not have it with you? Sanji asked.
… I do, but it's destroyed.
Great. That was really helpful.
Luffy stopped walking and then looked up. There was no way to get up, but they'd fallen quite a ways down before landing. Was there a ceiling? There was a floor, they were standing on it. But how would they even get up there? Their wings were useless and there was no wall to attempt to climb. Luffy was sure they couldn't do anything until Blackbeard let them out. They were stranded.
He sat down slowly, both of them not sliding off. He sliced his claw down one arm, and felt the blood, but no pain. That could be very bad. If they felt no pain, and couldn't see, they could be getting chopped up and not even realize it! He didn't tell them that, not needing to add extra fear and stress.
He was sure Marco would come. Ace, Sabo and Marco would come for them. Everyone would. The void was silent and their thoughts were as well. Too silent, Luffy didn't like it. It's too quiet. I've never felt so powerless. Ever.
We're pretty useless right now, Zoro said honestly. They really were. Helpless. Someone would have to save them this time. Why do you think he brought Luffy here? And then didn't even manage to get him when he was a baby in a stroller. That's pathetic.
Maybe he somehow knew how strong Luffy could be. He didn't count on him spreading his powers to other humans. Maybe that was what he planned? To have Luffy's own power spread to him and give him more power? Sanji hypothesized. Would have taken him ten years just to get started.
I'm so glad Marco was the one to find me and bring me someplace loving. This guy sounds really bad. I would have been a real demon if he was the one to find me. I would have been a monster. I know I'm capable of doing evil, everybody is, but I don't. It would have been a catastrophe if he got a hold of me early on.
He stopped walking, as his claw tipped inwards. He cautiously moved one foot forward and found an empty space. He tried to make a portal again below them, but nothing happened. Not even the tiny one that chopped his hand off. Thank god it reformed.
There's a drop ahead. I'm on the ledge of something, whatever we're standing on. Do I jump?
Yeah. We won't get anywhere walking. Well, besides here. But it's a change. Luffy told them to hang onto his fur tightly as he jumped, arms bent slightly to take the force of his landing. He fell for forever until he landed lightly. He was a demon but his body was still animalistic. So he landed neatly.
There was still nothing, and he started walking again. Flying would be so much faster, he could run, but didn't want to risk tiring himself out at all. Plus, he'd get thirsty, and he was sure there was no water here. He could be wrong. They'd only know if he walked into it. There was nothing to look towards, just the deafening silence. It was wrong. So quiet. You couldn't hear your own breathing or even the sound of your heartbeat if you tried really hard.
The sensory deprivation was scary. He was sure it had been many hours before a light started to form. A doorway was in front of him, finally something to look at. Only he didn't go there. He heard the evil laughter. But his body started being dragged, and he was unable to fight it or dig his claws into the solid surface below him.
Finally, he was out and was in a room. The three of them were in a bare room. Instead of complete dark it was complete white, but clearly a room. He changed, naked now. He had no clothes after ripping his apart. Zoro took his shirt off and gave it to him to tie around his waist. "No, I'm going to try something. We're exposed regardless." He closed his eyes and grew fur along his legs and lower chest. "Furry pants. Better than naked." Well, he was still naked, everything was just hidden in fur.
They walked around the room, pressing their hands on the walls, looking for anything. They could hear again. He could hear their breathing, the sound of their voices and footsteps. But nothing beyond that room.
This guy, Blackbeard, knew what he was doing when he took them. Luffy punched the wall, trying to break it, but he just bounced back.
"Do you like your new room? That's where you'll be staying for a bit," Blackbeard's voice said. It was like he was speaking through a microphone. "Just wait in there while I get everything in order. I wasn't prepared for three of you." He sounded so damn smug.
"What do you plan to do with us?" Luffy asked in a cold, flat voice. He didn't know if there were cameras anywhere, so he had nowhere to look.
"Since you were able to spread your nature to others via close contact, I want to use your blood. Make myself some demons."
Luffy scoffed. "Our blood is acidic. Injecting it into anyone else would burn them from the inside. Plus, it would never even go into a blood bag in the first place. You saw me get skewered. The rock melted."
"Besides, we don't have any of Luffy's blood in us. Your plan for that is not going to work," Sanji said in a clipped voice.
"Hmm, then I'll observe you until I come up with something." Zoro demanded to know how long they'd be in there. "For as long as I need. Years, decades. Whatever it takes." All three of them went white. This man wasn't lying, he would keep them there for decades if he had to. But the Whitebeards had to find them. They had to know by now, even if it wasn't from his severed hand.
Zoro pointed out that they'd age during that time. "Hold still."
"What?" They all stood back to back, ready for anything to come to them. There was nothing to see, though. Then they all felt something stab their necks.
"I'm not just powerful with my quirk. But I have the best scientists you could ask for. Now none fo you will age as long as you're here. You'll be nice and young for however long I wish. Zehahaha!"
He had complete and utter control over them. He released a snarl, and shoved clawed fingers into his neck, ripping out the skin and what was implanted in him. "I won't let you control me!"
"Because you're a monster? Right? You're uncontrollable."
"That's not what I meant! I won't let trash like you have any control over me. We'll get out of here! And all the Whitebeards will tear you apart!" Luffy shouted. Blackbeard laughed again. They could hear the sneer in his words.
He replied, "Don't worry. Nobody knows you're gone yet. I killed the kid who was awake." They all gasped. No, he didn't. But he could have. Sanji called him a liar. "It was easy. He was injured and nobody was around to save him. He died all alone, because of you three. If you hadn't been there, the exam would have gone perfectly."
"Don't you blame us for your evil doings!" Zoro roared. He punched his fist into the wall, cracking it. Blackbeard made an annoyed sound. They still couldn't see him. "It's your fault that happened, you were the one to attack! It wasn't anything to do with us!"
Blackbeard sighed and told him that the blame did indeed rest on them. Sanji snarled. He asked if anyone else besides Midoriya was killed. If he was killed at all. But Luffy had tears down his face anyways. Midoriya… he had a bright future. He couldn't be dead.
"There were many casualties of my explosion, but I didn't personally kill anyone else. So, people will live from the scene. And spread the information about you three for the rest of the world. You will never have a normal life again." Luffy was now crying angry tears. Zoro swore loudly, punching his fist into the wall over and over. But there was nothing behind it, or the wall was incredibly thick.
Zoro asked, "Why have you been hiding so long? 15 years is a long time to wait to do something like this. How could you fuck that up? You couldn't even retrieve a baby in a stroller? Pft. Well, Marco is pretty strong. Maybe you were scared. That's why you have the quirk of darkness. So you can hide from the big, bad, outside world. Pussy."
Zoro was then electrocuted, making him scream. They couldn't see where the attack came from, but Zoro was fine. "Did you think that would hurt me?"
"Oh, I know it did. You screamed, after all." Zoro scowled. "Don't worry. I won't torture you if you behave."
Luffy was glaring angrily. I'm going to destroy this room. Be prepared.
Okay. got it.
Luffy changed back into full beast form and opened his mouth and roared the loudest sound he could, imaging the room breaking to the sound. The floor exploded, and walls imploding and the ceiling falling. Zoro and Sanji were under Luffy's wing to protect. He was going to fly up when there was just another wall.
And the walls were broken, just exposing more solid white. How thick were these walls? What was this building?!
"Struggle all you want. You won't be getting out."
"We still have so much room to grow, even trapped here. Don't be so confident," Sanji said. "We'll find a way out, and then we'll make you pay. For taking our friend's life and blaming it on us. Not even counting our revenge for kidnapping us while giving away our secret. I wouldn't feel so comfortable if I were you."
"Hmmm, good luck with that. Zehahahaha!" Luffy scowled at the laugh. He sat down, but didn't change back. He felt safer in this form, for sure. And he could protect his pack easier. Zoro and Sanji sat too, against the broken wall.
We'll get out. We'll figure something out.
If I can make a portal big enough, I could get us out easily. I might need time to form it, depending on the situation. I can't do it while he's watching. And who knows where the camera is? I don't even know where the speaker for his voice is.
Okay. We might be here awhile, then.
The three of them closed their eyes, trying to focus on where he was. Was he watching? From where? How? They spent a good six hours doing that, bored beyond belief. "When do we get food?"
"You don't. You won't be hungry in there," Blackbeard said. Luffy scowled. No more talking aloud. But he's not going to give us food? I fucking hate him. Pops has to come. He'll come. I know it. Marco and Ace and Sabo, too. They'll come for us.
-x-
Two weeks later, the time came. Luffy was sure he wasn't watching, and used all his strength to open a portal to home. He saw everyone moving about the agency, looking so sad until they saw the window, Luffy making it visible.
"LUFFY!" Haruta screeched. "Where are you?!"
"I don't know. We were taken by a guy named Blackbeard. He's keeping us in a white room that we can't get out of. Our powers aren't working well." He tried to get through the portal, but it was shrinking. "I can't get through! Come save us!"
Luffy felt Blackbeard's terrible power, coming up behind him. "Luffy!"
"Blackbeard, damnit! Leave Luffy out of this!" Thatch shouted, trying to thrust his hand through the portal, but it was solid. Luffy broke through, but it closed too fast for the three to get through. "No!" Luffy screamed, slamming his fist on the ground. "Fuck!" he lamented, on his knees and forearms.
The blackness swallowed Luffy, his friends calling his name, as he was the only one sucked through. He was in the pitch darkness once again. Back where they'd started, however long ago that was. There was no sense of time in the room. No nighttime. They went to sleep when they were tired, no routine.
Luffy laid on his back in the blackness, knowing moving around was pointless, as there was nowhere to go in the black. Just more darkness, all encompassing. He looked up when he saw a bright light come in.
"Wh...what are you doing here?" Luffy asked in shock. He was expecting Blackbeard, not these familiar faces. He never thought he'd see them again. Not even at Sanji's place. It was the Vinsmoke kids. He sat up and then stood. They obviously weren't prisoners, as they were smirking.
"Father is the one that's given Blackbeard the science to cage you beasts. I can't believe that moron is like you now. We can't let him be stronger than us. We and Blackbeard had similar goals," Ichiji said.
Luffy said he'd go to prison if they were discovered. "No, we won't as you won't be escaping." Niji walked up to him, and Luffy took a step back. "Are you scared, demon?"
"It's called not being stupid," Luffy threw back. "I'm so disappointed in all of you. No wonder you didn't join a hero school. You're aspiring villains." They glared at him, seeing the look he'd given Ichiji so long ago. That day in kindergarten. He would have never believed this would happen. That they'd be enemy villains.
Niji got closer and was able to grab one of his arms. Luffy went to throw him off, but his powers weren't working in there. Why? He'd changed forms just fine the last time. And he'd healed and regrown his hand. So why now? He was helpless and weak here. He put his hand on Luffy's forehead. He thought he was going to electrocute him, but suddenly Luffy was back in the white room.
The three were in there, and Sanji and Zoro ran to him, asking him if he was okay. He nodded and told them about the Vinsmokes inside the void. "What?!" Sanji shouted. Luffy nodded, saying they did something to him, but he felt fine. "I can't believe that! Well, it does make sense how they have the science Blackbeard told us about… fuck."
Zoro said that the Whitebeards knew, and they'd be there soon. "I want to make a portal again. I'll get us out this time. Then we'll put your false family in jail," Luffy said to Sanji. "And if they did this to trap you, that means they think you're stronger than they are." He grinned. "That's gotta feel good, huh?"
Sanji smiled, saying it would make him happy in different circumstances. Well, once they were safe and free he'd be happy about it, and put them in jail. They spent another week gathering energy. That's what it felt like, turning their minds off. When he was sure again that Blackbeard was gone, Luffy created a smaller portal than his previous. Big enough for them to fit through.
When it started to close too fast, Zoro and Sanji put their hands on Luffy's back, giving him strength. They cracked the surface and fell, landing right outside the agency. "We're free! Yes!" Luffy said, dancing in a circle. "We have to go tell everyone, they're worried!" Luffy said.
They ran inside, but nobody was there. "Maybe they're all out looking for us…" Luffy wondered and walked around. Surely Thatch was there. He rarely left, taking care of the little kids and everyone else.
When they got to the kitchen, Luffy saw a puddle of blood in the doorway, he stormed into the kitchen and saw all of his family beaten and bloody, their eyes wide open as they were dead. Lifeless, empty. Luffy fell to his knees and screamed, something snapping. He fell apart, not feeling anything but grief.
Then there was laughter and they were back in the black. "NO!" Luffy shrieked.
-x-
Luffy didn't walk or make any move when he was shoved out of the darkness and back to Zoro and Sanji. They saw Luffy with horror. His eyes lifeless and body laying on the cold floor, limp. Zoro ran to him, trying to wake him up. But he was awake. He just didn't seem to be able to see anything. Or just didn't want to.
"What did you do to him?!" Zoro demanded, knowing something was very wrong. They heard Blackbeard laugh and Luffy didn't have any response. Not anger or irritation, nothing.
"Gave him some memories. They should keep him out for a while. That's what you get for having a heart. The Whitebeards made him weak by raising him with love. Well, it will be easier to do experiments on him if he won't fight back.
"Now you know Germa 66 is involved. They'd like to take advantage of your demon attributes as well."
Zoro gripped Luffy tightly to his chest, and Sanji coldly said they wouldn't let anybody touch Luffy. The smallest still hadn't made any noise or gesture he knew what was going on around him. There was no use fighting back. He had nobody to go home to. They were all dead. Blackbeard killed them all because of him.
He was a disease. Bringing death and ruining people's lives. Everything was his fault. All his. He wanted to die. To end this suffering, but he knew it would hurt Zoro and Sanji. They were all he had now. But he couldn't bring himself to do or say anything. He just couldn't do anything other than stay alive for them.
When a doorway was opening, something they hadn't seen before, as it just appeared out of thin air in the wall, where they had been no door before, a large hand was reaching through and grabbed Luffy. Zoro had a snarl rip out of his throat, and Sanji looked at him in surprise before Zoro couldn't help it and grew into a huge green monster.
Sanji ran forward and picked up Luffy, bringing him to the wall while Zoro attacked the hand. It was broken and fell in a heap. Zoro's beast form looked different from Luffy's. He was leaner, with no horns and a very stubby tail. His snout was longer and his teeth sharper. His claws were the same as Luffy's.
Luffy and Sanji were not afraid of Zoro, who stayed in that form and laid in front of his pack. Are you okay? Sanji's voice asked.
Yeah. There's no turning back, why not go all out? How is he?
He… didn't react at all. What memory did they give him? He was only gone for maybe an hour.
A quirk, probably. I don't know how science could manage that. Whatever it was, it was really bad. He needs to be someplace to recover. Not here. He needs to go home. The Whitebeards need to fucking hurry up.
Yeah. Sanji brought Luffy into his arms closer, and rubbed his back. "We'll be okay, don't worry. The Whitebeards will come." Luffy suddenly looked so angry at him. "Luffy?"
"D-Don't bring them up," he said sternly. Zoro asked why not. "Cause they're dead. You don't bring them up after… you saw them, too!" Luffy sobbed.
Zoro and Sanji exchanged a look. Well, there's the false memory. Sanji put his hand through Luffy's hair. "The Whitebeard's aren't gone. The bad guys put a false memory in your head. Me and Zoro never saw them dead." Luffy looked away, and his expression died again, lost in his own turmoil.
I want to fucking kill them, Zoro hissed.
Me too. They made him feel hopeless by showing him his family was dead. Fucking monsters. As long as they come, Luffy can come back from this.
They'd better hurry.
Luffy stayed empty like that for days. He wanted to apologize to his friends for being useless and stressing them out, but he just thought they wouldn't want to talk to him after what they saw. They were just trying to cheer him up. He remembered seeing them. It was so clear. It didn't feel like a dream or some fake event.
They let them go for that reason. To show them what happened because of them. Because of Luffy, who was cursed since he came.
"Look at you! Your new shoes look very nice, Luffy," he heard Thatch's voice say.
"I'm like Ace 'n Sabo!" he replied in a squeaky voice. Thatch blubbered about how adorable he was. Thick tears streamed down his cheeks, but he kept the sobs in. He didn't want to worry his pack even more. Zoro turned into beast form. It was because he had to protect Luffy. Who knows what would happen with that? Could he control it?
He didn't attack them or seemed rabid. He had control of his behavior, but what about his shifting? Would he change when he slept and destroy everything around him due to his size? He looked different from Luffy's full demon form. He was not as muscular, didn't have a tail or horns and his face was longer.
Other than that he looked the same. The same height, same fur, same claws. As long as Sanji didn't go like this, Luffy could have hope. He wouldn't turn into a monster, too, even though Luffy knew he'd have control over himself like Zoro did. They were both amazing. Even though Luffy ruined their lives.
Zoro suddenly slumped and Sanji bowed his head. Luffy wondered what was wrong. Are you okay? Luffy asked quietly.
I'm feeling really depressed suddenly.
Me too.
...another problem I've given you.
Zoro and Sanji showed him a unique show of care. Zoro turned his huge head and laid it in his lap while Sanji held him from behind, running his fingers through the full demon's hair. It was relaxing, and he was sure that was what they were going for. He fell asleep, feeling the care and affection from his pack.
When he woke up, Zoro and Sanji were asleep. The door opened to grab him, but Luffy wouldn't make Zoro's sacrifice be in vain. He put his hand up, facing towards the hand and wall. He learned this at camp. With his friends, before there were problems. Before anyone suspected him of being that monster.
He let out a blast so hard it was like a cannon, and blew the wall apart. He put his other hand out and did the same. The wall imploded, making an alarm go off. Of course Zoro and Sanji reacted to this suddenly.
Luffy stood up, even if he felt empty. All he felt was to protect them. And go to his family's graves to apologize, leave flowers. "We're leaving. I'm going to visit my family, they deserve to be visited." Zoro and Sanji didn't try to convince him they were alive. Luffy walked forward, Zoro in the middle and Sanji riding on top of him.
There were bots that were heading toward them, not real people. Luffy put both hands up and then closed them into fists, breaking apart each one and littering the ground with them. Luffy was still naked beside the fur barely hiding anything but making him feel a little better.
When they saw the Vinsmokes come, Luffy morphed into his other form, joining Zoro. He ran forward and did what he did some long ago. He ignored the fire burning his hands, the lighting stabbing his eye ball, Ichiji and Niji using their quirks on him. He grabbed their arms and sliced them off, making them scream.
"You had this coming," Luffy said in his deep voice as they screamed. Then he took the appendages and shredded them apart so badly they were just a mess of broken bones and blood. They wouldn't reattach them. Sanji kicked them through a wall, knocking them out. Zoro crushed their legs for good reason.
They ran further through the walls, Sanji on top of Zoro again, and they turned a corner. It felt like a maze. More bots came, but they easily decimated them. When the blackness came under them, Luffy released bright, blinding light from his feet, making the black disappear. It made Zoro and Sanji blind before their eyes healed.
Luffy slammed open a wall with a door they couldn't fit through, but the entire place shook. "Oh no!" Luffy shouted in that deep voice. Had he hit it too hard? They had to get out. He tried making a portal, but couldn't open it still. They had to get out physically. They couldn't cheat.
They crashed through walls, going in a straight line, while the building shook more. Then they stopped, and the two beasts raised their heads. They heard shouting and explosions. Were there other people there?
"They're mine!" they heard Blackbeard yell, though he was coughing and sounded angry and just a bit fearful.
"Luffy is our baby! Don't you dare lay a hand on him!" he heard Marco's voice scream. Luffy slammed through the wall, seeing all of the strongest Whitebeards there. Thatch even had his swords. They were all furious. They looked up and saw him. "Luffy!" Thatch cried. Blackbeard came forward, trying to get Luffy again. Into his darkness. Luffy and Zoro flew away from it, Sanji in Zoro's grip.
Whitebeard slammed his huge weapon, which he hadn't wielded in so long. It was in a glass case at the agency since it hadn't been used in decades. But here the bisento was, using his earthquake quirk on it so his attacks were more long distance.
Thatch hurried the three away, shooing the two big ones. Nobody was surprised with Zoro right now. "He wants you. As long as you're here, we can't fight full-out! Don't land, keep flying!" Thatch shouted. They nodded and Sanji got on Luffy's back, both he and Zoro taking off. Zoro flew in this form easily. He didn't need practice.
They were dead...I saw it! I stepped in the blood. I smelled it.
That was a fake memory used to weaponize the pain against you.
Luffy erupted into tears, not sounding so sad, but angry sobs from the deep voice of his demon form. He couldn't wipe his large eyes. Do you think Midoriya is really dead? That he killed him? He lied to Luffy about his family's deaths.
I don't know… we'll call somebody, anybody. Or when the Whitebeards get back, we'll ask them.
Luffy expressed worry for them. But they were the best without needing to guard the villain's targets. But suddenly there were drones around them. Sanji screamed when Luffy did a flip out of the way as a glowing net was shot at him. It was still Germa technology. The kids were out of the game, armless and unable to walk, but Judge was still alive and wherever he had been before.
Sanji barely held onto him, but managed. He wasn't fast enough in human form, the beast ones were much faster. Hold on tightly! I'll grab you if you fall. Luffy said, and dodged another net. They flew higher and higher until they were in the clouds. Zoro attacked the drones based on the smell of them, since the clouds were making things harder.
He roared, and bit through all of them, or grabbed them and crushed the machines in his hands. Luffy got hit by one of the nets. "No! Zoro! Help me!" Luffy screamed. He was holding onto Sanji in one arm, both of them screaming. Zoro flew down to grab, but the net was severed by a red feather.
