This chapter has a graphic fight scene in it. Beware! Enjoy~

All that was left was a single, huge mirror on the ground, shattered. "Everyone get out, the ceiling won't hold!" Luffy said in his deep voice. Why didn't they take us?!

It must have something to do with power level or blood. We know partial demons' blood isn't acidic, maybe ours is a waste to them. Did you see them?

I did. I saw the villain, just barely. He was BIG. At least 16 feet tall. Bigger than we are. Not in girth and muscle, but lengthwise and height wise, he was taller than we are.

Yaoyorozu made a rope ladder and they climbed out. The roof collapsed right as Zoro and Luffy jumped out, landing with huge thuds. Their clothes were ripped apart, and their costumes were still inside. Luffy formed a portal and dug around in the debris before getting their costumes, pulling them out with a huge, clawed hand.

"Why did they take them?!" Kaminari asked in panic. "They weren't the strongest in the class, so why them?" The three stayed silent, it being none of their choices to expose them. Zoro and Luffy ran around the building and changed back while very quickly dressing and flying back. Present Mic thanked the two of them for acting quickly. "But how many died? Some of the floors collapsed," Uraraka asked in a terrified voice. All of them had gotten out, thankfully, due to Zoro and Luffy's huge forms. But they couldn't save any of their fellow demons. They were gone now. But Luffy could find them by targeting the villain he saw.

It wasn't a complete loss. But they couldn't protect them. Again, Luffy couldn't save them. But, at least they saved the others from dying. Iida saw Luffy's look of shame and walked to him, gripping his shoulder and looking at him sternly.

"You two saved us all. Losing three and saving the rest is protection enough. Heroes will save those three," he said in a strong voice. Luffy nodded. They would save them. Luffy would infiltrate and find out what was really going on.

Everyone who was hurt was taken to the hospital and those who had superficial wounds were saved by Recovery Girl. Everyone knew something was up when it wasn't only hero course kids taken, of all grades and appearances. They had nothing in common to everyone who wasn't a demon. And all those who were were gone.

The three of them were questioned like everyone else who was conscious and alive. Nobody would say how many had died. Because some had died. It was inevitable with multiple floors collapsing. At least the whole building wasn't destroyed. The outer beams weren't broken, thank goodness.

The three of them were covered in debris and dust when they got home. They were in shock. Luffy formed a window on Todoroki, but it didn't work. Not on Tsu or Hancock either. "I-It's not working. I can't see them," Luffy said in panic. Zoro put his hand on his shoulder to calm him. He asked about the villain he'd seen.

Luffy nodded and tried that. It worked, and when they saw him, all of them got chills up their spines. He gave off a terrifying presence. Not like All For One, that made them feel ill, or Blackbeard that was a slimy evil. This guy was pure danger. They couldn't see a lot of his face, but they didn't need to see his whole appearance to know he was strong.

"You'll be going where he is?" Sanji asked quietly. Luffy said he had to. He had to get to everyone. "But how will you get inside if you have to get to a portal with him near?" Luffy reminded him he could move the window. And he did, looking around the halls and through doors. He found one with hundreds of maybe thousands of people, all of them with cuffs on, looking exhausted.

The window fizzled out, disappearing. "They have something to stop demon abilities. That's why none of them can use their portals to escape, or maybe not even fight back at all. This… is going to be difficult." Sanji insisted he couldn't go. "I have to! It'll only work with me! I'll be okay, I swear. And if I'm not, I'll have you guys come over."

Zoro quietly asked what he'd do if he was cuffed. Luffy looked down with a pinched expression. "Maybe that's what will have to happen. Maybe that's the only way I can infiltrate. By hiding as one of the victims."

"No way!"

"I want to be a hero! I want to save people, I don't want another Midoriya! Our friends are there! And this time I can do something about it! And I will. I'm stronger than any other demon there is. Besides Law, probably. I can do this, I know I can. Just trust me. You believe in me, right?"

Zoro said of course they did. Luffy opened a window to Law, and found him in the facility too. Meaning it wasn't only people from Japan. How many were they gathering? And why? He was looking bothered, but he wasn't hurt. Luffy made his window visible. "Law, what are you doing here?" Luffy asked quietly.

"I was with Kid and another partial demon and they took them. So I followed. But I can't get out and Kid is stuck somewhere else," he whispered. "I can't use my portal in here and can't get out of this room."

He looked more annoyed than scared. "I have no escape plan."

"How long can you last there?" Luffy asked, also whispering.

Law said he was sure he'd be fine. "The cuffs they use on the others don't work on me. I'm slowly burning a hole into the side of the closet wall. I'll get out that way. But I have to find Kid first," he said in a strong voice, "He's my pack and I can't leave him. Don't try to save me, if you come for the others pretend you don't know I'm here."

Luffy said he would do that, and told him to please not die. Law scoffed. "I'm not weak. I'm a D, and so are you. You better not be offed either or I'll be embarrassed," he said. "Now go away." Luffy nodded and closed the window.

He turned to his friends. "If their cuffs don't work on Law, they shouldn't work on me." The other two looked more relieved. "Now we should go talk to Hawks." They nodded, and used the portal to save time. Flying would take longer and was unnecessary. When they got to the agency, everyone was buzzing around.

Luffy and Zoro were still in their hero costumes, as they hadn't changed, and found Hawks immediately. He said they needed to talk, and went to his office. Luffy searched for any and all mirrors and removed them from the room. Just as a precaution. He told Hawks everything they knew and had found out.

Hawks asked if he really was that powerful. "Yeah. Do you want to see?" Luffy asked. "But, no matter how scary he is, I have to do this. Right? I'm the best for the job." Hawks agreed, that drastic times called for drastic measures, and he'd shown at the summer camp that he could handle stressful situations and think straight.

Luffy opened a small window to the man, who had a huge trident. Hawks' wings bristled, and the three recognized that as a show of fear. Luffy closed the portal. "Oh, jeez."

"Yeah." Hawks said he wanted to do more observing of the situation. Luffy nodded. Hawks called Marco over, who appeared quickly, flying as fast as he could after hearing about UA and that the three hadn't come home that he knew of.

When he got there, he walked to Luffy and hugged him. "I'm okay," he said. "Emotionally and physically. But we gotta catch you up." He nodded, and Hawks told the story this time. The five of them sat at the table, and Luffy made a window, spawning it on the man, who was now ushering young adult demons down a tunnel, all of them droopy with the cuffs. He had his trident pointed at the back of the last.

Luffy moved the window forward and explored, though he felt it fading somehow. They did have anti-demon equipment. They knew so much, but this man was not a demon. They saw a room with many chairs with straps to keep people down. And there were so many needles and blood bags.

They were drawing blood from the demons and doing something with it. He moved more and found other large villains, all not demons but not feeling as scary as the first. They found a lab that had machines that were seeming to siphon the blood into different tubes. Meaning they didn't use all of the blood, but some of what was in it.

This had all been set up perfectly. The villains knew what they were doing. Sanji scowled. "That's Germa tech."

Marco said they had been working with other villains and companies before they were caught and disbanded. So they might have made this equipment before they were exposed. Luffy's window faded and they lost sight.

They'd had a camera pointed at the screen, so they had recorded it. Only, they looked back at the video and found the window had not shown up. So they were the only people who could know. Luffy attempted another window, but it didn't form. He huffed. He turned to the two pro-heroes, "Where do I start?"

They both looked uncomfortable before they grew determined with the serious look Luffy had. Both of them began to explain a plan, with input by the three demons, Sanji and Zoro terrified for Luffy's safety against that man. Plus however many others there were. Besides the other two large ones. Surely there were more, in a place that big and detailed.

It was that night that Luffy went. Surrounded by pro-heroes who were stationed with Sanji and Zoro, keeping in contact with Luffy. They knew the telepathy would work even if the other demon powers didn't, since it had for the darkness when Blackbeard attacked them. Abducted them.

Luffy was able to create a door just small enough for him to slip through, closing behind him. He made himself shorter, making his wings and other demon attributes fade, quietly finding the places with cuffs. That was the first of the plan. To blend in. He found them, smelling for any strange metal. He would use all of his powers that he was able to.

He found some and cuffed himself. It didn't feel any different. He luckily was fine in his school uniform that he'd changed into. Nobody had any outfit on other than those they were taken in. Can you hear us? Sanji's voice asked.

Yeah. don't distract me, I'll tell you any important information.

He knew he needed to be careful, notice everything and he couldn't be distracted. Sanji replied that they'd stay quiet. He felt bad for them, since they had no way to watch Luffy, as he couldn't form any windows for them to watch through.

He saw everyone had markings on their wrists. Serial numbers. He saw the number of the nearest one, and duplicated it with a number just above that one. Luffy knew he was sharing that number with someone, since there were far more than 602 people there.

The full demon laid down, looking completely different then he really was. Wings, horns and tail gone. He knew he would be able to hold this form long, under the pressure. He just wished he had rested more last night. Hopefully the coffee would hold. And the adrenaline.

He laid there for a good five hours, his head silent. He kept his senses open, smelling way too many non-demons there. Too much for him to handle himself. But he couldn't fall into despair. He'd figure out a way to do this. He may have to have his pack come, though. It may become that desperate. If he was discovered, he'd find a way to have them stuff themselves through a portal.

Partial demons were slowly filtered out, probably to go have their blood taken. When the group he was in was dragged up, standing in exhaustion, Luffy took after them, and tiredly walked silently. He struggled to walk along with them. A girl, a young one, maybe Luffy's age normally, smacked him with a wooden paddle as he walked past.

He pretended it hurt. He looked much older than he actually was. But also short. When he walked down the halls, he saw the terrifying man there, talking with someone else big, though it was a woman with white hair. He heard his name was Katakuri. He looked at him out of the corner of his eye. But kept his eyes tired.

Katakuri turned to look at him, and he made his face freeze and crumple in fear. He entered the blood drawing room, seeing strong people, he could tell, at each blood station. He worried now. His blood was acidic. Well, he had to push his limits. Plus ultra, right? He was shoved in a chair and winced, crying out lightly.

Usually the pain would come from how hard they strapped everyone down. A needle was pushed into his neck, and he begged his body to change his blood. Just enough that they'd draw. And it worked, but his face was crumpled in the effort to change his physiology, not just his appearance.

Once he was done and unstrapped, he was shoved away. His blood replenished completely, but he pretended to be drained, gaining inspiration from the others. He saw Tsu there, tears in her eyes, though she looked dull. It made him angry inside, but he stayed rational. She wouldn't recognize him in this form.

Once they made it into another hall, not the one they'd come through, he saw the machines working. And he figured out what they were doing. The white blood cells were being siphoned out. And he saw them in vials. So, the villains were drinking or injecting themselves with demons' white blood cells?

But not all demons could heal like that! Much of that had to be wasted. Diluted with regular white blood cells. He observed everything around him. He looked back down when he smelled Katakuri coming up that way. He was heading right to Luffy. Shit.

Well, he'd act his way out of this. He'd been pretending his entire life. He was good at lying, at faking. Katakuri shoved the point of his trident into his shoulder, making him wince. But his blood burned it. He was exposed already.

He snapped the cuffs in half and sprinted away, pushing through regular people. Well, partial demons. He would do the worst for them, even if he'd die because of it. He would ruin all of them. He shot huge blasts into the room siphoning the blood, destroying everything. People, including the villains, exclaimed in shock and startle. Luffy jumped, flying down the halls, his wings bursting out of his back.

"There's a D here!" the loud speaker said. Luffy kept flying, slamming his tails through walls in case he met a dead end. He ducked under the trident behind him, Katakuri keeping up with him. He was silent as he tried to skewer Luffy. He turned around and grabbed its base before snapping it in half.

Katakuri had a cold look on, not reacting to his destruction. Luffy's plan, the one he had, of slowly infiltrating, was definitely and completely ruined. Now he was just winging it. Self preservation first. If he lived, he could help. If he died, he'd be useless.

The trident was dropped to the ground. "Brulle, he's too destructive," he heard, and then felt a presence behind him, grabbing his wings and pulling him back until he landed on his back in a strange hallway, its roof quite tall. Mirrors were everywhere. This had been how they captured the other demons easily.

He flew to an opposite mirror, but when he reached it, it shattered upon his impact. He was unsurprised. Katakuri followed him inside, standing across from him. Luffy didn't know what his ability was. He stayed silent, arms up and ready to fight. He would figure out what the villain would do before acting. Some of his powers might be useless against him, and just take up energy he could afford to give away.

"You've caused quite a bit of trouble, Luffy," Katakuri said, his voice very deep, but face still calm, if not just a tiny bit angry.

"You've hurt my own kind too much. My own friends."

Change of plan, guys. I have to fight Katakuri, the scary guy. I was caught, but I damaged their lab. It was siphoning white blood cells out of demon blood and put in vials to drink. I'm sorry if I fail.

Let us help!

Not yet. Numbers won't work on this guy and you'll get in my way. Please, don't distract me. I can't make portals in this world anyways. I won't use some of my powers.

"Are you speaking to somebody?"

Luffy replied, "Yes. Heroes know what you've been doing," Luffy replied. But then a white fist slammed into him and threw him into the wall, making a huge crater. That was way too fast! Maybe because he was talking? He shut off the connection when they started to argue with him.

The full demon gasped and dropped down. "D or not, I am stronger than you." Luffy glared at him, and thrust his hands forward, slamming him into the wall just as hard as he had. But then there were white hands around him, trying to pummel him, but he dodged, only to be punched in the face directly.

He flew dozens of feet away, bouncing on the ground. His injuries healed, but blood was all over him now. "That healing power is pesky. I'll bypass it. You aren't immortal. If I kill you with one hit, there's no healing from that," Katakuri said calmly.

Luffy said, "I won't die by the likes of you."

"I am not the League of Villains. Or Blackbeard. We are not stupid or reckless. And we won't tolerate somebody ruining our plans. You may have broken all of our equipment, but we'll rebuild and continue to take from partial demons," he said in a flat voice.

Luffy crouched down and let out speed from his legs, rocketing him forward and slamming his elbow into Katakuri's face. He jumped away and flew back. He saw the blood drip out of the man's nose, but it healed. His eyes widened. "You're kinds' white blood cells sure are helpful."

The full demon felt rage at their blood being used like this. But he wasn't a child, he wasn't going to throw empty threats or insults at his enemy. He'd only ignore them, looking at him with tht flat face. It was just them in there. If Luffy died, unless he was brought out, nobody would ever find him. Find his body. Never. He'd die alone, and stay dead alone. He couldn't let that happen.

"No matter if you use our blood cells, you will run out. I'll just make you exert yourself enough for you to run out," Luffy threw back. Katakuri said that was not how it worked. "I was never good at science," he said.

Katakuri said, "You are a fool."

"Probably. But I'll also be a hero and win against you. No matter how many times you hit me," Luffy growled. "I won't die!" A punch was slammed into his gut. The guy was too fast! Way too fast! And what was this quirk? It was spongey, but solid enough to hit him. "What is this quirk?!" Luffy exclaimed after he managed to pull himself out of the way and have the hand slam into the wall, shattering it and crumbling it into a pile.

"I can control and am made of mochi," Katakuri said honestly. "Not that that information will matter."

Luffy said, "Well, if I turn into my beast form, at least biting you won't taste bad." Katakrui looked angry at this comment. He flipped out of the way of another short distance punch, the mochi fists in the air. But Katakuri was there, and punched Luffy in the face, making his neck snap back, but he was fine. He spit blood on his hand, which burnt through the glove and into his skin.

He flew back at max speed, turned around after latching onto the ceiling with his clawed hands. He knew he'd be less agile if he turned into beast form, but that may end up being what he had to do. He flew up at him, and Luffy slammed his tail into his arm, hearing the bone snap and making him unable to hide a grunt.

Luffy shot down and slammed his tail into where Katakuri had been standing, destroying the ground completely, turning it into dust and debris. He jumped out of the area. The villain looked surprised at the strength. Luffy had his tail up, ready to fight, with his hands and feet clawed and sharp. He was in a low position.

"I'm a D. Whatever that is, it means I'm strong. You're a human with fake demon powers. A dirty mutt," Luffy spat. Katakuri let out a terrifying aura. Luffy tried to let out his own. He tried to bring out all of his energy into making the man wary of him.

It seemed their auras crashed somehow and blew up part of the mirror world, shattering mirrors and the ground. Luffy had his teeth grow into sharp fangs, sharper and longer than Kirishima's sharp teeth. He sliced the mochi arms in half, flipping through them, and using one as a launch pad to reach the ceiling and thrusting a burst of telekinetic energy at him, making him stumble back.

Luffy zoomed forward and sunk his teeth into his neck pulling out a chunk of skin. It did taste like mochi, but he spit it out. But it healed over. He really was made of that stuff, he hadn't drawn any blood. How would he defeat him? He was grabbed around the throat, but he sliced his claws across his throat.

But it didn't go through all the way. His head was still there. His throat was crushed and he was running out of air. He wouldn't die like this. But he squeezed too tightly, and Luffy's throat and neck were crushed, bursting out into blood. It came off and fell to the ground, his body limp.
