Cabe's SUV pulled up behind the cruiser with his lights blazing.

Even as the cop got out of her cruiser Cabe jumped out of his SUV. He flashed his badge at her. "What in the name of Sam Hill do you think you are doing? Get my grandson out of your car and back with his Dad before your ass meets my shoe. Like I haven't had a bad enough day I got to deal with knuckled headed bull like this."

"Sir, if you give me a chance to explain." She started.

"Don't sir me missy, I don't want to hear your excuse. Now do what I said before you are writing parking tickets for the rest of your career in LAPD." Cabe whipped off his sunglasses and glared at her. "Why do you even have him still in your car for? I already verified with your dispatch who they are."

As she sighed the cop turned and walked around and glared at the spectators who'd gathered a few dozen yards or so back in the park. She opened the door and Ralph climbed out and ran over and hugged Cabe. "Thanks Grandpa. She thought Dad was some kind of pervert and gave him a hard time."

Cabe smiled down and mussed his hair. "It's okay now son, go get in the car with your Dad."

Ralph grinned and ran on up and climbed into the car with Walter and buckled his belt.

"Look, I'm sorry but I had to be sure everything was on the up and up. Surely you understand that agent Gallo." The cop inquired.

"I appreciate that but making me drive over here before you released my grandson back to his Dad is totally uncalled for. And I'll definitely be bringing this up at the next inter-department meeting." Cabe growled as he walked on past her up to Walter's window.

"You both okay?" Cabe asked as he bent over and looked inside the window.

They all watched as the cop left in her cruiser. Walter and Ralph both nodded.

Cabe nodded. "Good deal. I understand you are running by Kovelsky's to grab dinner for you guys. I'll meet you at the Garage."

Walter frowned. "Shouldn't you get back to Allie?"

Cabe nodded. "Right after you and I have a conversation."

Walter swallowed hard even as he watched Cabe walk back to his SUV and then took off. "I wonder what Grandpa wants to discuss with you." Ralph just smiled.

"You didn't tell him what you had suspected did you?" Walter asked quickly.

Ralph shook his head.

Walter let out his breath as he mentally tried to gauge just what was appropriate to say to Ralph about the situation. "Okay buddy. Short answer is yes. A little more than a week ago Happy had a dream about your Mom. After Happy explained the dream to her your Mom chose to allow Happy to experience what a relationship with another woman was like. Unfortunately they both ignored my advice to talk to Toby about it."

Ralph nodded. "I wondered when Happy would realize she was attracted to Mom. That was the other thing that made me sure it was Mom that had been involved with her."

Walter frowned. "You knew Happy was attracted to your Mom?"

Ralph nodded. "When we were on the island, as much as Happy was in love with Toby, there were times when no one was really watching, that Happy would stare at Mom. I wasn't even sure if she realized she was doing it herself. It wasn't until after you brought them back into Scorpion that I began noticing that the way she looked at Mom had changed, it deepened. It reminded me of the way Aunt Susan watched Mom."

Walter shook his head. How blindsided he had been himself that he didn't notice it but his son had.

Ralph grinned as if he could read his mind. "Don't sweat it Dad. You were constantly focused on work or Mom and me. I had more free time to see and analyze what was going on. I just can't believe Toby didn't pick up on it sooner." Ralph paused as a thought struck. "Wait, how is it possible that Toby didn't pick up on Happy's growing desire? And since clearly Happy is with Toby why is he so mad?" Ralph looked up at Walter and saw what looked like sweat was beading up around his brow. His mouth opened. "Dad!"

Walter swallowed and then coughed uncomfortably.

"How is it possible you got involved in what happened between Mom and Happy?" Ralph demanded.

Walter coughed again even as his face turned red. "Ralph, there are certain nuances about human sexuality you might not be ready for."

Ralph rolled his eyes. "Dad it's called a threesome there isn't anything nuanced about it."

Walter let out his breath even as he could feel the heat of his cheeks. "I wasn't in a position where I knew what happened."

Ralph stared at him for a moment. "So Mom had restrained you, a blindfold, possibly an auditory device of some kind so you couldn't hear low level noises and she invited Happy to join you?"

Walter's breath rushed out in one big exhale as he ran his hand down his face.

"Dad it's okay. While it shocked me at first because I had only calculated a very small chance you'd be involved with them at all. Right around a 3.6% of a chance. I didn't realize you and Mom enjoyed that type of sexual expression. But I'm not upset about the two of you experimenting or loving each other in any fashion you both are comfortable with. Just, you can't be with Happy, never again please. No wonder Toby really went off the deep end when I talked with him."

"I'm currently calculating a 93.2% chance that when I heard Happy cry out she must have rushed over to Grandpa's and told him what happened." Ralph looked in the side view mirror at Cabe's SUV behind them.

Walter swallowed hard again. "I think I'm going to be sick."

Ralph looked up at him and saw he did indeed look a bit green. "Maybe you better pull over for a minute. I don't think you should be driving right now."

Walter slowly nodded before he signaled and moved over and then stopped.

"You stay here and breathe Dad. I'm going back to talk to Grandpa." Ralph told him as he undid his seatbelt.

Cabe had frowned watching Walter signal so he did the same and pulled in behind him. He shifted into park even as he watched Ralph climb out and began walking back towards his SUV. "What is going on?"

As Ralph reached the passenger door Cabe hit the lock button and Ralph opened it and climbed in. "Dad's going to need a few minutes to calm down."

Cabe frowned. "Calm down? What does he have to calm down about?"

Ralph smiled. "Oh the fact that I figured out what happened over the weekend and that now he knows you know what happened."

"How the hell do you know what happened this weekend?" Cabe all but roared.

Ralph grinned. "Grandpa, I'm a genius, remember?"

Walter and Ralph came through the door downstairs and moved through the Garage and as they climbed the stairs the found Paige already out in the dining room setting the table for them to eat out. Paige smiled at her two boys. "There's my man and our son."

Ralph rolled his eyes even as he laughed.

Paige frowned looking at Walter. "Are you okay Walter?"

Walter swallowed hard and barely nodded as he sat the bag with their dinners in it on the table. He pointed towards their bedroom. "This is pretty much pointless but I'd feel a little more comfortable talking in a little privacy."

Paige nodded as she kissed the top of Ralph's head. She stepped out from behind the table and took Walter's hand as they walked back and closed the door. Walter had her sit on the corner of their bed while he pulled his desk chair over and sat down facing her. He took her hands in his.

Paige frowned. "Walter, what's wrong? You are actually scaring me a little here."

Walter shook his head. "Oh, no, no, nothing like that. But I do have to go out to Cabe's SUV so he can talk privately to me. But something else came up when I picked up Ralph from Caltech. Paige, he knows, he knows everything in broad strokes."

Paige rolled her eyes. "Walter, he's only thirteen, fourteen in December. There is no way he knows, unless you told him?" Her eyes focused dangerously on him.

Walter shook his head as he told her just how wrong she was.

Paige's eyes went wide even as her cheeks burned crimson red in embarrassment. "Oh God, Walter, I can't go out there and face Ralph knowing this."

Walter shook his head. "No, you don't understand Paige. He totally gets everything that happened. Well he doesn't know that I was involved anymore than the initial encounter with Happy. He said he was fine with everything but he really doesn't want me participating with you and Happy anymore."

Paige swallowed hard. "Are you sure Walter? I can't handle this if he is going to be mad at me. I was just starting to feel good because of how Cabe talked with me earlier."

Walter smiled and nodded. "I wondered what brought you out of the bedroom without being prompted. Come on, let's go out there and you can start eating for both of you while I go down and face the music."

Paige swallowed again as she slowly nodded her head.

Walter stood and held out his hand and Paige took it before standing. He kissed her tenderly. And then he led her out to the dining room. "Hey Ralph. I explained that you know what happened to your Mom. She's worried about what you might be thinking about her. She values you so much, I hope you understand that."

Ralph frowned and stood and walked over and hugged his Mom. "Mom, I'm not mad at you. Like I told Dad as long as it is consenting I'm pretty much okay with what you guys do. But just please don't take Dad back into that situation. It isn't good for Toby for sure and I'm worried it could spark some kind of jealousy on your part. I need my parents together. I've wanted this for so long when I thought Drew was my Dad. Then I wanted it with you and Walter and I thought I was so happy when you finally came together. I know I supported you for the most part when you broke up with Dad but I can't go through another break up. I don't want to put a burden on you."

Paige squeezed him a bit tighter and kissed the top of his head. "I'm never leaving your Dad again Ralph. He's stuck with me like he's my life support unit."

Walter smiled and kissed Paige's cheek as he squeezed Ralph's shoulder and moved over and walked down the stairs and out to Cabe's SUV.

"You know Ralph knows, you could have just came inside and we could talk." Walter told him as he climbed into the SUV.

"Maybe he does but that doesn't mean he needs to hear our conversation. Walter, I mean, I just don't know what to say to be perfectly honest. How could you let this happen?" Cabe stared at him unbelievingly.

Walter nodded. "I've been asking myself that since Friday morning Cabe. I mean I had no clue Paige had that planned. I thought we were just enjoying some personal time. Because of the music I had designed for Sly to help him with their pregnancy nausea I couldn't even keep track of time. I trusted Paige and she betrayed me."

Cabe watched as realization struck Walter.

"Oh God, she did didn't she? She totally betrayed me. I trusted her completely. She set all of this in motion without discussing it, lured me into that game and kept me from knowing Happy was there and even what time it was. Oh God, Cabe, what do I do?" Walter looked at him his face contorted like Cabe had never seen before.

"Hey, son, its okay or rather it will be okay. She knows she really screwed up. She was actually very worried about this event. She knew eventually you would realize how badly she betrayed you. But you got to know how much she loves you." Cabe told him as he reached over and squeezed Walter's shoulder.

"Dr. Rizzuto tried to tell me, tried to make me see and tried to get me to go see a friend of his for counseling. How do I do this Cabe? I'm out of my depth on this. I don't have enough experiences to handle this at all." Walter looked back up into Cabe's eyes.

Cabe could see the horror in Walter's head.

"Listen to me son. This is exactly what you are going to do. You're going to man up for right now. You are going to go back in there and have a wonderful dinner with your family. You are going to speak nothing but love and kindness to that woman we both love. Because you still love her right?" Cabe looked him dead in the eyes.

Walter nodded. "Of course I love her Cabe. I can't imagine my life without her."

Cabe grinned. "This went totally beyond what she'd planned. She didn't plan to betray you, Happy knew about oral sex, but she'd never seen a woman doing that to a guy before, not in person anyway. And it was her desire to see Paige do that to you that motivated Paige into allowing Happy to come up there. But as so often does with Scorpion, things went askew and we ended up in this mess. You keep remember how much you love her and how much you can't see your life without her. When you go for your appointment with Dr. Rizzuto tomorrow you let him know you want to see her friend for counseling."

"He'll be happy about that but he'll ask why and you just be truthful, kind but truthful, with them both. That you now realize how much what Paige did bothers you. Don't be mean, don't over react. Be the same level headed guy you've always been. Can you do that for me?" Cabe squeezed his shoulder again.

Walter nodded. "I think I can."

Cabe nodded. "Good deal. Get in there and kiss that woman you love and have a good time with them. Pay her some extra attention because she needs it, she needs to know you still love her and you aren't going anywhere without her."

Walter nodded. "Thanks Cabe."

As Walter stepped off the stairs Paige's smile changed and she kind of frowned. "Is everything okay Walter? Did Cabe give you a hard time?"

Walter rocked his hand back and forth. "No more than you'd expect."

Greetings! Hope everyone is well! This chapter finally has Walter seeing the truth about the situation and what comes about from it in the future.

Lucy - Ralph is WAAAY too advanced! lol I think Cabe did a good job! hehe

Railman - Yep and getting right back into it again. lol

Champagne42 - Got to love a classic Cabe!

Margaret - Yes, at chapter 11 I turned it back to M rating so it doesn't come up in the normal Scorpion list. You have to either go to my profile or scroll to the bottom of your screen and change the filter to show M rated stories. It wasn't that Happy didn't want to go, the job she had at the time was down to the wire time wise and if she went it most likely would have caused Scorpion to miss the job deadline and they'd be responsible for loss of revenue for the other company. Saturday's meeting will be something.

To the Adventure! -Tim
