Happy sat working on finishing a rebuild on the motorcycle engine as Toby sat watching her. He smiled at how much joy she always got from working on things, anything as long as it was with her hands. "So did you call Paige like you said you were going to last night? I only ask because you hadn't called today."
Happy looked up at him and smiled and nodded. "I did, I would have told you last night but you were sound asleep and I hadn't actually thought about it yet." She went on to tell him what they had talked about it.
Toby smiled. "Happy I wasn't looking for a running play by play on what you spoke about. I just wanted to be sure you called her. But I am happy to listen to whatever you want to share with me. I always enjoy hearing your voice."
Happy smiled. "I wasn't telling you like I was worried what you might be wondering or thinking about it. I just wanted to share."
Toby nodded. "I'm glad. Umm, can I have a few minutes of your undivided time? There is something else I need to tell you about."
Happy looked up with a frown but nodded as she set her tools down and grabbed her shop rag and wiped her hands off before she stood and walked over and sat down on his lap in the rocking chair. "What's going on Fungus?"
"Well originally I had planned that when I got home I was going to take you to the bedroom, screw you one last time and then get up and grab a few of my things and just leave. I was so mad. I didn't think you'd actually confess. That you'd be remorseful until after you had known I had caught what you had done." Toby told her honestly.
Happy nodded. "I can understand that Toby, you didn't have to tell me that, but I appreciate it."
Toby nodded. "Well there is a little bit more. When I told you I won back our money plus ten thousand dollars. That was a little bit of a lie."
Happy frowned. "But that is what was in our account."
Toby nodded. "That's because I had the rest of my winnings put into my private account. I went online this morning and transferred the rest of the money into our account."
Happy's brow furrowed a bit at her confusion. "So, how much did you win?"
Toby grinned. "More money than I ever won in my life. Compared to winning your heart it is a mere drop in the ocean but I won over eight hundred fifty thousand dollars."
Happy's mouth dropped open as she stared at Toby and watched him as he just grinned and nodded before he pulled his phone out and showed her their bank account balance.
"I was on fire that night. I could see their tells a mile away and I cleaned the floor with everyone that played against me." Toby nodded.
"But that wasn't the most surprising thing about it. As I left the casino Saturday night I had realized I hadn't derived any satisfaction from any of it. Normally the chips, the clicking of ice in someone's drink, slapping the cards down and watching their faces crumble in despair kicks my adrenaline into high gear but nope, not one bit of it was enjoyable." Toby explained.
"You are the only thing that matters to me now. I just wanted to come completely cle-." Toby's mouth was suddenly filled with Happy's tongue as she kissed him with every bit of fire and passion she could.
Paige had ridden all the way to Kovelsky's with her legs half curled up on the seat with her leaning into Walter's side. Her arm looped through his. Walter had grown so use to the gesture that he seldom seemed to notice it unless she wasn't there. Paige looked up at him and kissed his cheek. "Walter, you know you can talk to me about anything right? Nothing is off limits to me."
Walter nodded even as he smiled slightly. "Thank you Paige. I hope you know you can always talk to me about anything. I know sometimes I'm still a bit backwards but I will always try and do my best for you."
Paige smiled at how easily he fell into her trap. "Okay then, please tell me about this dream that is bothering you."
"I-I, r-r-really would rather not Paige. It really unsettled me." Walter almost pleaded.
Paige stretched her legs out off the seat and sat up straight as she looked at Walter. "Walter this is really bothering you. You've stuttered more today than over the course of the last two months. Please my love, tell me what is bothering you so much. I promise not to judge you by what you tell me."
Walter's eyes darted back and forth a few times trying to think of something he could say. "W-well, if you are really sure."
Paige grinned and nodded. "Please tell me."
Walter took in a deep breath. "It was a cool day for Los Angeles and you and I had decided to go up and relax on the roof of the Garage one evening."
Paige smiled and nodded. "That sounds nice."
Walter nodded. "It was to start. You'd got up from your chair and sat down on my lap straddling my legs. You were wearing one of your mini skirts and those red stilettos I like so much."
Paige's smile turned into a wicked grin. "Oh my, this sounds so good. Go on, please."
Walter nodded. "It wasn't long before I kissed your neck the way you like and my hands caressed your breasts through your blouse. Suddenly you decided you had enough teasing and stood up and pulled your panties off before you opened my pants and pulled my manhood out of my shorts."
Paige moved back over and wrapped her arm back around Walter's. "Oh my, we just might have to try this now."
Walter swallowed hard as he nodded. "Well this is where it went a little south. You quickly sat back down facing away from me and after you got situated you rose up and took me within yourself and began riding me."
Paige grinned. She had always enjoyed listening to Walter's nervous descriptions of body parts. "Well go on."
"Well suddenly the roof top door opened without us realizing it and Sylvester and Ralph walked out seeing us completely because we were facing the door." Walter choked out.
Paige's eyes went wide. "Okay, major buzz kill there. And that is what has been bothering you?"
Walter nodded. "I was mortified Ralph had seen us and I was angry that Sylvester had seen you so intimately."
Paige nodded as she kissed him on the cheek again. "Well, we'll have to ensure that Ralph is staying over with Cabe some night and the guys all know not to come over and we can lock the door when we actually try it."
Walter looked at her in surprise and Paige giggled at him and kissed his cheek as he looked back at the road.
"Well you two look a lot better this afternoon." Cabe greeted Paige and Walter as they walked into the Garage.
Paige grinned. "And why shouldn't we? The sun is up, the weather is gorgeous and it is a positively glorious day outside."
Cabe chuckled as she strolled over to the stairs and climbed up to the loft to use the restroom.
Walter placed his backpack on his desk and frowned. "Where's Sly?"
"He had a meeting with the DA over Florence's case." Cabe told him as he sat down in the chair beside Walter's desk.
Walter nodded. "He's still going to represent her then?"
Cabe nodded. "I think he is over her as far as a romantic possibility goes but he still feels the need to be friends with her."
Walter rolled his eyes.
Cabe smiled as he nodded. "I know son. So why the queen is upstairs sit down here and finish telling me about the dream."
Walter let his breath out slowly but sat down. "There really wasn't much left to it. The second woman remained cloaked in her robe but had lifted it enough in back to reach in and guide me inside of her and despite my pleas that I was taken refused to stop. The first woman got tired of my pleas and walked up and put a gag in my mouth so I couldn't speak coherently. It went on until we both had an orgasm. And then I was left alone and suddenly my bonds were gone. I reached up and removed the gag and I felt so horrible. It was like I had betrayed Paige. I woke up actually crying. And it has taken everything within me to not cringe and move away from Paige whenever she's touched me ever since. Dr. Rizzuto had pressed me about what he was seeing from me so I told them I had a bad dream."
Cabe's eyes went wide. "You told them about the dream?"
Walter shook his head. "I told them about my process of dealing with bad dreams it was just taking longer to process this one. She pressed me for details so I told her about one I had some time ago to cover for it."
Cabe nodded. "Well you better tell her about the dream Walter. I don't want you two flaming out again."
Walter slowly nodded. "You don't think she'll be upset I'm having sex dreams about strange women do you?"
Cabe ticked his head. "Well it's my experience it is a lot easier to deal with anger of the moment than to deal with anger over not telling the truth. Case in point was the blow up here in the Garage over the lecture."
Walter slowly nodded his head.
"Maybe you better contact that friend of Dr. Rizzuto's and get in to see her as soon as possible." Cabe told him.
"Oh I'm glad you said that Cabe. I got her business card in my purse. I'm going to call her right now." Paige said as she moved down the stairs.
Paige sat down and picked up her phone and called the number. She looked over and didn't see Sylvester. "Where's Sly?"
"Ah, well that's an interesting question Paige." Cabe told her cautiously.
Paige nodded as she held up a finger. "Yes, my name is Paige Dineen and I am calling on behalf of my boyfriend Walter O'Brien. Dr. Rizzuto wanted him to come in and see Dr. Bessil. Something about a professional courtesy to see if Walter and the Dr. would be a good fit. Next Thursday at 10 a.m. That would be fine, thank you very much."
Paige looked over at Walter and saw the look on Walter's face. "Walter you really should at least meet this woman. If you want I'll go with you."
Walter swallowed hard.
"Now, what was so interesting about my question concerning Sly?" Paige looked back at Cabe.
"Well damn, I had hoped you had forgotten." Cabe joked until he saw the look she leveled at him.
"He's representing Florence with the case the State has against her." Walter told her.
"Hrumph, I can't believe he can look past all she did to help her. I'm sure Toby and Happy aren't going to be too happy about this. Wait, the State? Are you kidding me? The Federal prosecutor dropped the case down to the State like they did for Drew?" Paige said almost like a growl.
Cabe nodded. "Collins isn't cooperating and we still can't find Carlson so there isn't any proof she was working for Collins."
Walter's head came up his eyes puzzled. "I gave them all the documentation on the USB drive. How could they not see it?"
Cabe nodded. "Thank Sly for that. Since Homeland's forensics had been unable to duplicate your process Sly argued it wasn't admissible. The Federal judge agreed and threw the evidence out."
"Are you kidding me Cabe?" Paige nearly screamed.
Cabe held out his hand. "He was doing what a good defense attorney does. And that is getting the best possible deal for his client. And that includes her even if she is a complete lunatic."
"I'm going to kill him." Paige growled.
"That's premeditation sweetheart." Cabe warned.
Paige huffed. "At the way our judicial system is being ran I should get paid for it."
Cabe looked at his watch. "Well I need to run to the courthouse and pick Sly up. I'll see you in about an hour." Cabe pointed to Paige as he whispered. "Tell her."
Walter nodded as Cabe walked towards the door. "Paige, would you come over here for a moment so we can talk about something please."
Paige looked up and nodded before she stood and walked over. "Am I in trouble Mr. O'Brien?"
Walter grinned at her hint of role play but he shook his head as he pointed at the chair Cabe had left. He took in a deep breath as she sat down.
"There is another dream I need to tell you about. It actually is bothering me more than the one I told you earlier." Walter told him.
Paige nodded as she took hold of his hand. "Of course baby, what is going on? You don't normally have bad dreams let alone more than one this close together."
Walter nodded before he told her the dream he'd told Cabe about.
Paige looked at him with sympathy. "Walter I am so sorry you had that dream. It had to be so horrible. Why didn't you tell me about it before?"
Walter shrugged. "I felt guilty because I had an orgasm with the woman."
Paige smiled. "Love, you didn't have an orgasm with anyone. It was just a dream. The fact that you feel so bad about it speaks to me more than you having a dream orgasm. I wonder what brought it on."
Walter shook his head as he refused to confess what he was beginning to suspect. "I'd been doing a little dream research but haven't really come up with anything that made any sense to me. Maybe this Dr. Bessil will have some idea."
Paige nodded. "I certainly hope so. I don't want you having bad dreams." Paige giggled. "It does remind me of the dream I had back after Drew first came back into Ralph's life."
Walter looked back up with a frown. "What dream was that?"
"Well don't tune me out and listen to the whole thing. In the dream I was in bed talking to Drew who was in the bathroom taking shower after we had made love. And I had told him now that it happened we had to be careful because I didn't want to hurt Ralph. But as he came out wearing a robe and drying his hair he dropped the towel down and it wasn't Drew, it was you." Paige told him with a grin.
Walter stared at her for a moment. "You had a sex dream about me?"
Paige nodded. "And you know what you told me about it?"
Walter looked real confused. "I don't recall you telling me about this before."
"I didn't tell you in so many words. I just asked what it meant when we remembered a dream vividly and you told me it meant we enjoyed it. And I certainly did enjoy it." Paige told him before she leaned across and kissed him.
Greetings! Hope everyone is well!
Railman - Yep, Happy & Toby are seemingly well on their way to reconciliation! And no Paige is not going to be liking what Walter is going through because of this, at all.
Margaret - Yep, you submitted a comment to chapter 13. And you weren't kicked out of the other one, or at least something got posted before you were. Well you got to remember too, Ralph isn't quite a normal emotional being. He is far better than Walter but still a good bit higher thinking than feeling. Which for now allows him to deal with this more logically than emotionally. Might change in the future...never know. Thankfully the police have no authority over private lives. What a mess that would be. As for healthy unhealthy, people are different. No two are the same, they will have things they like and dislike. Certainly the way it was approached with Walter was unhealthy. And we're starting to see the effects of that on Walter. No, Happy has already stated she wouldn't share Toby with anyone else and Paige said she'd only ever share Walter with Happy. But that isn't going to happen again either.
Lucy - As you know now Toby slept blissfully away without knowing anything about the call. You are so right about that! Or perhaps before he can actually even get help...Never know.
Guest - I can neither confirm nor deny what you said as that would be spoilery but really, everyone should know the truth at this point.
To the Adventure! -Tim
