Paige was curled up sound asleep on Walter in the wee hours of Friday morning. She was about as happy as she'd ever been. Finally everything seemed to be coming into focus for her. She knew she was going to have to figure out someway to apologize and repair what she had done to hers and Walter's relationship with Toby over bringing Happy into a sexual adventure with them but she was fairly confident she'd succeed.

So it was with a shock that she was abruptly awakened by Walter calling out for help. She reached over and smacked the lamp base and the light flicked on as she shook Walter. "Walter, love, wake up. You're having a bad dream baby."

Walter's eyes flashed opened and he saw her pushing against his shoulder. She could see the terror in his eyes as he shook his head.

"No, no, leave me alone. Don't touch me." He lurched to the side away from her and fell out of bed. Leaving Paige confused and worried.

"Walter!" She finally called out before scrambling out of bed and moving around as quickly as she could. She found Walter laying on his right side facing away from the bed, his right hand pressed into the side of his head.

"Walter, love, are you okay?" Paige nearly begged as she scrambled over him to examine him to see if he was hurt.

"No, don't, don't touch me. Please, I don't want this." Walter begged.

"Baby, look at me, it's Paige. You're safe." Paige told him as she tried to be comforting.

Walter looked up staring at her shaking his head no. Paige touched him gently. "Please baby, let me help you." He had shied back away from her touch and he saw the pain on her face from the action.

Then Walter saw as tears started to run down her face and he grimaced before he slowly nodded his head. He watched as Paige knelt next to him and she gently reached out and he shied back from her touch again and he struggled to allow the contact. He watched as she opened both hands so he could see they were empty and he nodded.

Paige adjusted the position of his head and frowned. "You must have hit your head as you came off the bed. You've got a nasty cut on the side above your right ear."

Walter's hand reached up and touched it and he winced.

"Stay here, don't try and get up. I'm going to get the first aid kit." Paige waited for him to nod before she got up and left the room.

Walter looked at the nightstand and saw a small clump of flesh and hair on the corner. He opened the drawer and pulled one of the cotton rags he kept in it to clean the screen of whatever device he was using in bed. He pressed it into the side of his head and grimaced again.

"We really need to get some more first aid kits. Just having the one in the kitchen isn't enough up here. We should get one for both bathrooms." Paige said as she moved the short distance down the hallway to their bedroom.

She put the kit on the corner of the bed. "Okay, let's get you up here off the floor."

Walter nodded as he let her help him to stand and he sat down still holding the cotton rag to his head.

Paige pulled Walter's desk chair over and sat down. She opened the kit and pulled out several things before she looked at Walter. "That was a pretty bad dream baby. What happened in this one?"

Walter swallowed hard as she took over holding the rag and then pulled it back and looked at the wound. She frowned. "We might have to take you to Urgent Care for this baby."

"I think I'll be okay with some ointment and bandage." Walter slowly told her even though he still looked apprehensively at her.

Paige frowned. "I wish Toby was coming in today. I'd feel a lot better having a professional looking at this. You didn't tell me, what was this dream about?"

"Same one but it seemed like it was actually happening. And for some reason I was so scared of you." Walter told her as she saw the haunted look in his eyes.

"We've got to get you in to see Dr. Bessil. I wish she had an earlier appointment. Maybe I can call her office and if she gets a cancellation she can see us before our appointment." Paige told him as she released the pressure from the wound. She watched and saw it was still bleeding a little. She grabbed the disinfectant wipe and gingerly wiped it before applying pressure again.

"Mom, Dad, did I hear screaming?" Ralph called from his doorway.

"Yes baby, your Dad just had a bad dream. You can go back to sleep." Paige called out.

'Yeah, fat chance of that happening now.' Ralph thought as he walked down the hallway instead and looked in their doorway. "Are you okay Dad?" He asked softly.

Walter gave him a half smile as he forced what he was feeling down. "Thanks to your Mom I'm going to be fine buddy. Go ahead and try and get some more sleep."

Ralph nodded as he turned and walked back down to his room.

Walter looked to the side as Paige checked the bleeding again. "Think the hair will grow back?"

Paige smiled. "I suppose anything is possible. But let this be the last time, okay?"

Walter nodded. "I don't suppose there is any point to me trying to go back to sleep now."

"I don't think I'll be going back to sleep anytime soon." She told him as she continued to look for bleeding. "Was it the exact same dream or was there something else that made it worse?"

Walter frowned. "It seemed the same but for some reason it bothered me even more than the first two times."

Paige looked at him. "You've had it three times now? I thought the other night was the first time?"

Walter shook his head. "The first time it didn't bother me much at all. It wasn't until the other night that it really bothered me."

"Do you want me to call Toby later? Maybe he wouldn't mind coming over and talking to you?" Paige asked as she brought an ointment up and spread it across the gash. She pressed a so called non-stick gauze pad against it and then wrapped a layer of Coban on it to hold it in place.

Walter shook his head. "He's coming over tomorrow right? Surely we can wait until then. He's not going to be very helpful anyway, I am sure. I know I wouldn't be."

Paige leaned in to kiss him and Walter shied back and she frowned. "Walter?"

Walter shook his head. "Sorry, for some reason that triggered a feeling from the dream."

Paige slowly nodded as she let him lean in and kiss her. "That'll get old having to wait for you to kiss me."

Walter nodded. "Hopefully by the time we get up I'll be right as rain."

Paige grinned. "I don't think I've ever heard you say that before." She closed the kit and sat it on the dresser before she turned to pick up the trash but saw Walter already had it up and thrown it in his wastebasket.

She walked around and climbed back into bed. She watched and Walter slowly turned and stretched out before covering up with the covers.

"Is it okay if I curl up like normal?" Paige asked before she moved.

Walter nodded as he held his arm above her head and Paige turned and rolled up on him and snuggled into his arms.

"You know, we're going to have to switch sides of the bed don't you?" Paige asked quietly.

Walter looked down. "We do?"

Paige nodded. "That or I'm going to have to stop curling up on you. They don't like pregnant women to lay on their right sides because of a slight chance of blood flow issues."

Walter nodded. "Well then we'll need to look at rearranging the furniture so we can switch sides then."

Paige looked up. "Why rearrange the furniture?"

Walter pointed at the door. "I've always liked the doorway on my side of the bed."

Paige smiled and pointed at the open section leading to the ramp. "And that doesn't bother you?"

Walter laughed. "Well to be fair like this my side is closer to both. Maybe we can move the dresser here and put our bed on that wall. Then I'll be closer to the door and our feet will be closer to the ramp?"

Paige shook her head with a smile on her face. "If that makes you feel better Walter I'm fine with it."

They lay there as Walter stroked his fingers up and down Paige's left arm even as her left hand drew circles around his chest. "Walter are you sure you don't know what is causing these dreams?"

Walter nodded. "You know I'm not much into psychology. I'm not qualified to even begin to interpret the meaning."

Cabe and Sylvester came in and stopped as they saw Walter sitting at his desk and then noticed the bandage around his head. "Walter?"

Walter looked up and smiled. "Good morning."

Sylvester slowly continued walking across the floor as Cabe walked on around him. "That's one word for it. What happened?"

Walter looked up. "Oh, another bad dream, I fell out of bed and scraped the side of my head on the corner of my nightstand."

"Uh huh, and I suppose that is why Paige's car is gone?" Cabe asked.

Walter nodded. "She didn't think I should drive Ralph to school."

Dr. Rizzuto sat in his office when his line buzzed and he picked up. "Dr. Rizzuto. Oh Sarah. Good morning, how are you doing?"

Dr. Rizzuto picked up a pencil and began doodling on a pad on his desk. "She did? That's great. Yes, I would appreciate it if you would meet with Walter as a courtesy to me."

Dr. Rizzuto nodded. "Yes, well Walter is a special case. He's very stunted emotionally. It stems all the way back to his early childhood. He's a supra-genius. He's in the high 190s IQ wise."

"I know, but he's one of your own. You really love one of his employees. I'll give you one clue. Harvard." Dr. Rizzuto broke out laughing. "Nope, I'm not kidding you." Dr. Rizzuto reached up and wiped at his eyes. "Well the thing is he doesn't know how to put it into words and I don't think the full ramifications of what she's done have actually struck his girlfriend yet."

"Basically, she introduced a female friend into their sexual relationship in a bad way. She'd meant for it to be a fun sexy thing but neither her or their friend realized what it would mean to him. In effect she facilitated his being raped by their friend. She'd tied him up, blindfolded him, and she placed ear buds in his ears so he couldn't tell what was going on. He thought he was just having sex with her. His body language Tuesday was screaming at me at how bad this had messed with him." Dr. Rizzuto listened for a few minutes.

He shook his head. "No, and don't even press for that. If you do you will only shut Walter down and he will deny everything. He won't let anything happen to Paige. I'm confident she won't try anything like this again. The whole thing blew up in another way as well. I'm counseling both couples. Yes, their friend is married to another friend of theirs. I just don't feel comfortable trying to help him through this. He'll probably show up with her and he'll probably need her for strength, he doesn't deal well with emotions and she's always been that for him. Thanks a lot Sarah, I appreciate it. Hey how's that new husband of yours? Dustin isn't it?"

Dr. Rizzuto smiled. "Good deal. You got it, if you ever need a session with me I'm here for you. Talk to you later."

As he hung up his line buzzed again and he picked the phone back up. "Excellent, I'll get them in just a moment." It wasn't often he had a cancellation but when he did he always enjoyed relaxing a bit. He stood up after slipping his wingtips on and he pulled his jacket off the back of his chair and twirled it around and slipped it on as he stepped over to the door and opened it. He looked out and smiled seeing Happy and Toby sitting in his waiting room. Happy seemed to be completely comfortable as she had her nose buried in an engineering periodical she'd brought with her.

"Happy, Toby, it is a pleasure to see you both. Come on in here and grab some couch." Dr. Rizzuto said as he stepped out and to the side of the door. After they'd all sat down and Dr. Rizzuto had taken a sip of his tea he smiled again. "So Happy I have got to say I am really amazed at how well you are doing today."

Happy gave him a bit of a smile and nodded. "You may already know part of it from Paige and Walter but after we left Wednesday I became very distraught hearing how bad things were for Paige and I took off. I went to Cabe's and confessed everything to him. He was so accepting and caring. He didn't approve but he wasn't letting that get in the way. He came over and had a good talk with Toby before he went and had one with Paige and Walter. And later as I worked on one of the engines I could feel Toby watching me. At first it was a little annoying and I had thought to tell him to stop but then I noticed I was actually rather turned on and we ended up making love twice."

Toby nodded. "She left me a worthless heap."

Happy blushed. "I don't think he needed to know that." She rushed on. "Anyway I took a shower and after I called and had a wonderful conversation with Paige. Telling her that Cabe said he wanted Toby to bring me over Saturday so she and I could talk and so he could talk to Walter and they could try to find some place to rebuild from. And Toby made his last confession to me today. He told me he had actually won over eight hundred fifty thousand dollars Saturday."

Dr. Rizzuto had been smiling the whole time and nodding his head. His eyes went large as he looked at Toby and saw him nod. "I have to say that all sounds so wonderful Happy. How about you Toby? What are you thinking about Cabe's request for you to try and rebuild with Walter? And how does winning all that money feel to you?"

Toby nodded. "Well to be clear, I'm not sure I can or want to rebuild anything with Walter but I don't see why I can't continue to do my job for Scorpion. After all, not every employee gets along with their boss. As for the gambling, of course winning all of that is wonderful but as I told Happy, nothing about it had felt like it had before. None of the things that usually spiked my adrenaline affected me. I couldn't care less if I never gambled again. I already have what I want." He squeezed Happy's hand.
