So if you guys have seen the new Doctor who episode and read my update, you know I'm a bit happy and a bit annoyed at the moment. Just to avoid spoilers in case no one has seen it yet, Moffat read my mind and stole my idea! He stole my idea I had in store. So it's not a surprise now so I won't tell you guys to be expecting it now cause it's going to happen, there. XD

Yeah...I'm still going with my plan anyway no matter what. Thank you to everyone that has been reading this story and helping to support me. It really means a lot.

My college midterms have died down for now and after Moffat's little thing he pulled *CRACKS KNUCKLES REALLY LOUD*

"Time to get down to business! IT"S ON!"

Chapter 19: It's Hard to say Goodbye

Summary of chapter: Death unexpectedly takes the ones we love, the ones we care about. Friends come and go. One thing is for sure, it's hard to say Goodbye.

P.S: This chapter will have Time Skips and take places between the episodes "The Stolen Earth" and "Journey's End."

The Fighter looked at the Master blinking as she was frozen. "Can you repeat that again?"

He looked to her "Apparently you're pregnant."

"Not possible!" She blinked as she looked between the Doctor and him "But how? I mean the Pythia curse..."

The Master shrugged "For all we known it could be a malfunction in the TARDIS or his bad piloting skills again." He looked over to the Doctor as he rolled his eyes.

For some reason, The Fighter seemed a bit hurt by this. It was almost like he didn't want a child at all, a child with her. She looked to him with hurt eyes "But say if it was possible, just for a minute, would you still want the child?"

He looked to her with wondering look as he sighed not wanting to show a soft vulnerable side he had around the Doctor or the female human in the room with them. He then took his hands in her "Of course! It would be our child. Besides, every king needs an heir." He said with his classic smirk as she laughed shaking her head.

"Calm down Master! Your dominant side is showing!" She told him jokingly.

"When isn't it sweetheart?" He replied leaning in closely to her.

The Doctor eyes widened feeling like he would throw up "I think I'm going to be sick."

The Master quickly kissed the Fighter as he looked up at the Doctor smirking "Then my job here is done. Let's go Fighter." She followed behind him as they walked back to the TARDIS console.

The Doctor ran out of the TARDIS as the others followed behind looking around. The Master looked around commenting "This doesn't look like the end of the universe to me. And I of course would know since I've been there."

"It's fine...everything's fine." The Doctor exclaimed looking around. "Nothing's wrong, it's all fine!" He turned around shouting to a milkman. "Excuse me, what day is it?"

The man answered "Saturday."

"Saturday! Good I like Saturday's!" The Doctor grinned "Mind you not as much as I've come to love Sundays."

Donna frowned "So I just met Rose Tyler?"

The Doctor nodded "Yeah."

"But she's locked away in a parallel world!" Donna told him.

The Doctor agreed speaking quickly "Exactly. If she can cross from her parallel world to your parallel world, then that means the walls of the Universe are breaking down, which puts everything in danger. Everything. But how?"

He began running back in the TARDIS as everyone followed after him. The TARDIS gave a sudden crash and shudder as it knocked them all to the floor.

"What the hell was that?" Donna shouted looking alarmed.

"It came from outside!" The Master exclaimed as he helped the Fighter up and ran to the doors only to see nothing but space with lumps of rock floating by.

"We're in space. H-How did that happen?" Donna asked them as she looked to the Doctor. "What did you do?"

The Fighter looked to the monitor "He did nothing. We're still in the same place. We haven't moved."

"It can't have...no!" The Doctor shouted running to join the Master as they looked outside the door.

Koschei Oakdown, before he became the Master, was sitting on the porch at his families house looking out to the lush red grass as tears silently fell from his face. He would come to this private place when he was hurt, when the constant drumming would get to him the most, when his father would yell at him for being a failure to him again.

He didn't want anyone to see his weakness, he wanted to remain strong and be in control.

He did everything his father wanted, obeyed his every command like the heir of Oakdown would. Yet...his father still called him a failure. He wouldn't admit it, but it hurt him.

More silent tears fell from his face as he looked out to the grass with anger and hurt. He slammed his fist on the ground "How dare he! How dare he!" He thought to him. "Why won't anyone appreciate what I do? Why won't anyone see my glory?" He paused a bit "I"ll just have to make them see it. They will obey me. I'll show them!"

Suddenly his thoughts were inturrupted by his one of his childhood friends Missy running up behind to him from the grass. "Koschei!" She exclaimed happily.

He quickly turned his head and wiped his tears away before she could notice, before she could see his weakness. He loved her. It wasn't like that at first when they met, but he began to fall when he saw her caring hearts and personality day by day. From then on, he knew he wanted her.

She stopped a bit as she finally reached him and smiled "Here you are. Theta and I were wondering where you were, plans are off anyway. Theta got grounded for the stunt he pulled so I'll just hang with you."

Koschei shook his head "I told him it was a bad idea but he didn't listen." He chuckled knowing he was right.

Missy looked to him in silence as Koschei raised an eyebrow "What is it? Is something on my face?" He asked her as he began touching his face.

He was suddenly surprised with a hug from her. They remained silent for a while as Missy finally spoke "It's okay Koschei, I believe in you. You're so intelligent and have lots of potential. Show them what you're made of!"

His eyes went wide at her words. She believed in him, she saw him. She saw him! It touched his hearts as no one had ever said that to him before, no one had ever saw him.

The TARDIS landed on a deserted street as they all stepped out looking around. "Like a ghost town..." Donna commented looking around.

"Sarah Jane said they were taking the people. What for? Think, Donna, when you met Rose in that parallel world, what did she say?" The Doctor asked her.

"Just... the darkness is coming."

"Anything else?"

Donna looks away thinking as she spots someone behind the Doctor smiling.

The Master looks behind him with wide eyes realizing he has seen this person before at the cafe he went to with the blonde girl and wise old man. "It's her! She's this Rose Tyler you're looking for!?"

The Doctor turns around to see Rose across the street not beliving his eyes. The Fighter turns to the Master "How do you know her?"

The Master explained "Remember when we were fighting, she worked at the cafe I went to along with this strange old man. I knew there was something odd about her, more than just a waitress." He smiled to the Fighter "She told me to come back to you. To be with the one I love."

Rose began running to the Doctor as he began running to her happily.

The Fighter looked to the Master smiling as his eyes suddenly went wide and the Doctor was shot by a Dalek, falling to the ground.

"NO!" The Fighter screamed as she began running after him.

The Master followed after her as they ran to their childhood friend to defend him. The Dalek than shot again as the Master quickly pushed the Fighter out of the way taking the attack.

"NO!" She exclaims looking to both her friends concerned. The Doctor looked barley conscious and the Master was beginning to glow regenerating. She got up off the ground to run after them.

"Exterminate!" The Dalek says as it goes to shoot the Fighter only for the Master to block it, as he falls to the ground dead.

The Fighter's hearts dropped feeling the loss as she screams. It was like the Time War all over again. She was losing people she loved to the Daleks again, a never ending battle.

Jack then appears blasting the Dalek to pieces. Rose quickly runs to the Doctor as the Fighter runs to the Master.

"I've got you, it missed you. Look, it's me." Rose said holding the Doctors head in her lap.

The barley concious Doctor looked to her with a smile "Rose..."

The Fighter looked over the Master's body as she tapped him "Hey, come on. Wake up!" He didn't respond.

The Doctor asked Rose trying to look over her noticing the Fighter and Master weren't by him "What's wrong? What's going on?"

Rose looked to him sadly "It's that man and that woman, he got shot as well but more than you."

The Doctor's eyes widened "Was he regenerating Rose?" She nodded. The Doctor realized what had happened as he became grim.

"Come on! You don't die! Staying dead isn't your thing. Come back to me!" The Fighter cried as she realized he didn't have a heartsbeat. She then looked over to the Doctor as she ran to him. "You're okay right?"

The Doctor nodded as he suddenly yelled out in pain "Don't die! Don't die! Please, not you too." She cried to him as she could see him crying silently as well. She looked to the others knowing what had to be done "Get him into the Tardis!" She looked over to the Master's body "I'll take care of him."

Rose and Donna supported the Doctor to the TARDIS as the Fighter picked up the Master's body with Jack covering her as they walked into the TARDIS.

The now graduated Time Lord friends looked to each other proudly. "We did it, we graduated!" The Fighter exclaimed giggling.

The Master looked to the Doctor "Aren't you glad you stayed in the academy and didn't run away? You made it, though it was a 51%, the lowest graduation grade in Time Lord History."

The Doctor pouted at him "We said we wouldn't mention that!"

The Master and Fighter laughed.

The Fighter took them into a hug, like she always did "And after all that we're still good friends."

"As promised!" The three of them said at the same time. "Forever..."

The Doctor, Fighter and Donna were standing in the TARDIS after dropping off Rose and the Doctor's meta-crises self at Bad Wolf Bay.

Donna looked to them asking "Don't you have to burn his body like the traditions say?"

The Doctor and Fighter looked to her understanding she was talking about the Master who's dead body lay in the medical bay. "Yes, and how did you know that?" The Doctor asked her.

Donna replied "Because it's in your head. And if it's in your head, it's in mine."

The Fighter asked her "And how does that feel?"

Donna replied "Brilliant! Fantastic! Molto bene! Great big universe, packed into my brain. You know you could fix that chameleon circuit if you just tried hotbinding the fragment links and superseding the binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary." She then gasped.

"I'm fine. Nah, never mind Felspoon. You know who I'd like to meet? Charlie Chaplin. I bet he's great, Charlie Chaplin. Shall we do that? Shall we go and see Charlie Chaplin? Shall we? Charlie Chaplin? Charlie Chester. Charlie Brown. No, he's fiction. Friction, fiction, fixing, mixing, Rickston, Brixton."

Donna winced in pain. "Oh my god!"

"Do you know what's happening?" The Doctor asked her knowing himself. She nodded. "There's never been a human Time Lord metacrisis before now. And you know why."

Donna looked to him "Because there can't be. I want to stay." She then looked to the Fighter seeing her crying silent as she looked at Donna herself. The Fighter knew what had to happen to her human friend. She couldn't hide her pain of loss today, there seemed to be too much of it.

"Look at me. Donna, look at me." The Doctor said getting her attention.

Donna's own eyes began to have tears "I was going to be with you forever." She looked between the two of them and even thought of the Master.

"I know."

Donna sobbed "The rest of my life, travelling in the Tardis. The Doctor Donna. No. Oh my god. I can't go back. Don't make me go back. Doctor,Fighter, please, please, don't make me go back!"

The Doctor looked to her with a sad smile "Donna. Oh, Donna Noble. I am so sorry. But we had the best of times."

"No."

"The best. Goodbye."

"No, no, no. Please. Please. No. No." She sobs as he puts his hands on her temples taking her memories away. "NO!" Donna than passed out.

The Doctor and Fighter look over their friends dead body as he lights the funeral pyre, burning the Master's body.

The Fighter hugs the Doctor tightly as they both silently sob for their losses today.

"He was trying to protect me, he died protecting me." She told him. "It's my fault he's dead."

The Doctor shook his head not beleving he would ever say this about the Master "He did what was right. He loved you."

He than began to sob as stroked his hair gently to help comfort him "Theta..."

He quickly wipped his tears away trying to get back his strong fascade. "Besides, you did the same for him by taking that bullet for him." Her eyes widened as she nodded "Let's get back to the TARDIS."

Three childhood friends walked off into the distance towards the sun as they held hands.

They then were broken apart as the three of them started to take different paths.

They began running down the different paths they took, trying to reach each other again.

The end of their paths suddenly became one again as they joined hands, reunited.

Along the journey, one of the friends got seperated going down a different path all his own, a very dark path.

The friend was never seen again as the two he left behind continued walking down their path, missing their lost friend. It was hard to say goodbye, but they had to keep moving on.

I have finally updated XD. Yeah my little rant above was my motivation to get this into action quicker before another one of my briliant ideas are taken.

Anyway, hopefully this chapter was heart-wrenching though I kinda skipped some. Next chapter is "The End of Time" I have my spoilers and plot twists all set for that chapter and Moffat can't beat me to it, mwa ha ha ha (or even RTD.) XD

It's going to be in many parts so be expecting them. See ya!
