My college classes have started up but I'm going to update this story again before things get to crazy. I at least feel more confident about college and everything! Yay!
I've lately been into the Supernatural fandom (my fave characters are the angels Castiel and Gabriel.) Haha, love me some angels. I might eventually get around to writing a Supernatural story but for now I'm sticking to Reader Inserts for it.
Anywhosicles, I'm glad to be back and writing this story once again.
P.S: I spend most of my time on Deviantart right now, so Add me as a friend and +Watch me on there. My username on there is Its-My-Circus-Now. Thanks~!

Chapter 21: The End of Time - PART 2 - The Battle Begins!
It is said that in the final days of planet Earth, everyone had bad dreams. To the west of the north of that world, the human race did gather in celebration of a pagan rite to banish the cold and the dark.
Each and every one of those people had dreamt of the terrible things to come. But they forgot.
Because they must. They forgot their nightmares of fire and war and insanity. They forgot.
Except for one.
Wilfred Mott, Donna's grandfather, is wearing two pairs of reindeer antlers with a red beanie. One pair of antlers are red while the other is brown. He goes to the front door ready to leave, but not before telling his family where he's going with a whistle. "Just goin' down the Lion for a little snifter! Christmas drinks! Right, tata love!"
The old man on a mission goes outside and pulls out his cell phone, dialing a number. "Paratroop 1 to paratroop 2. We are mobilised. I repeat, we are mobilised. Rendezvous 1300 hours. Over and out."
He hangs up and sneaks down to the driveway. A large bus turns onto his street as he waves it over to him. "Come on!" He chuckles "Wayhay, shake a leg!" He does a little dance "Yayhay!"
The bus pulls up as he gives it a hip bump. The driver and the rest of the elderly people on board laugh and applaud him. "Right, carry on then. Off we go!" He gets onto the bus and it begins to drive away.
Wilf stands at the front of the bus giving directions to his team onboard. He is on the lookout for the Time Lord's and Time Lady who are childhood friends. "Right, he's tall and then, wears a brown suit, maybe a blue suit. He's got a long, brown coat. Modern sort of hair – all sticky-uppy. Right? Oh, and on page two, be on the lookout for a police box. Exactly like the old ones.
Wilf continues explaining as he points to pictures of the Fighter and Master he drew "As for page three, be on the lookout for a young looking woman with long strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes, she will more than likely always be by his side. She is a Fighter. The thing about her that stands out most is her pink rainboots she wears with any type of outfit. Oh, she also hangs around a man with brown hair and brown eyes, always looks kind of mad. That's her lover, he's a Master of sorts. He likes to wear black clothing. "
An elderly woman in a red coat, Minnie, smiled happily "Oh young love! Which reminds me, I got locked inside one of them Police boxes. August bank holiday 1962."
The dark colored man across the aisle from her, Winston, leans over to her smirking "Were you misbehaving, Minnie?"
Minnie gives a cheeky smile "I certainly was! Wayhey!" Everyone in the bus chuckles away.
Wilfred begins to regain order in the bus and put everyone back on the focus on their mission "Yeah, yeah, All right, all right, now listen. This is important. We have got to find them. Right, so phone around, phone everybody." The reindeer antler wearing old man points to a woman "Sally, will you get on to the bridge club?" He then points to the dark colored man "Right, Winston, you try the old boys." He then looks to another man "Bobby, I want you to ring the Skiffleband. Right? Between us, we got the city covered."
"The Silver Cloak?" The cheeky Minnie asks.
"Yeah!"
Winston gives a puzzled look to Wilf "Who are they then? This Doctor, Fighter and Master?"
Wilf begins to shake his head turning a bit sad and quiet as his eyes fill with tears "No, I can't tell you that. I swear. Yeah, but answer me this. You been having bad dreams? All of you? Dreams you can't remember?"
Everyone looks to him confused trying to remember. This confirms Wilfred's thought that everyone forgot about their terrible dreams, the dream of the Master laughing wickedly. He thought the picture of him would hopefully spark up something, but no one even seemed to remember. He kept wondering why he was having dreams of the Master always laughing, he just wanted answers.
"Yeah, well that's why we need them. More than ever."
A man in a black hoodie walks up to a lunch van parked on a building site where wood is burning in an old oil barrel. It looks like a junkyard all around the area.
The woman bids the two men before him goodbye as she looks to the man in the hoodie "Now what can we get you sir?"
The man turns to look at her and takes off his black hoodie. It is the Master. "Everything! I am so hungry!" He begins to laugh as the woman looks to him concerned.
Moments later the Master drops onto the ground behind the two men from before. He is eating away at his food voraciously as the two men look up at him.
"Ooh, someone's lively on his feet." The man with the hardhat comments.
The Master notices them watching him but continues to eat away as he speaks in between "Starving." He begins to eat at superhuman speed as the two men stare at him in confusion. The burger he was eating is gone in seconds.
The man comments to his friend "Now, you see, that's what you don't wanna do. Eat it all at once." He glances to the Time Lord who is starting to lick the paper his burger was wraped in "Tempting, I know. But if you make it last, it can last all day."
The blonde Time Lord frowns "More! With cheese and chips! And meat and gravy. And cream and beer. And pork and beef and fat and great big chunks of hot, wet red."
"Good for you, mate." The man looks to his friend "Maybe we'd better be going."
His friend looks to the Master and makes a comment he will later regret "You look like that bloke. Harold Saxon." The Master suddenly stops licking the paper, narrowing his eyes to the man who is smiling. "The one that went mad."
The Master chuckles abruptly and holds up a finger to the man "Now, isn't that funny? Isn't that just the best thing of all?" He begins to run his hands through his blonde hair "The master of disguise. Stuck looking like the old Prime Minister." He begins to laugh again "I can't hide anywhere. He can see me. She can seeme."
The smile begins to drop from his face in realization."He can smell me. She can smell me. Can't let him smell me!" He begins to wipe his face with the burger wrapper "Doctor, doctor, doctor, doctor, doctor, doctor, stop the smell! The stink! The filthy, filthy stink! I can't let her see me like this! Fighter, fighter, fighter, fighter, fighter, stop the sound! The drums! The constant, pouding drums!" He begins to hug himself into his knees and swing himself back and forth.
The man and his friend look to the crazy Time Lord with anxious looks as they begin to leave "Ginger, come with me!" They scramble to their feet, trying to get away from the insane Time Lord as the Master puts out a hand and they freeze.
The Master gives them a wicked smirk "But it's funny! Don't you see? Look at me! I'm splitting my sides!" A strange blue light flickers over him quickly as it reveals his skeleton. "I am hilarious! I am the funniest thing in the whole wide world!" His skeleton is revealed again with a flicker and roar as the two men scream, beginning to run away. The Master watches them go then stands up with his head titled to one side and an insane smile lights his face.
"Run! God help us! There's this man!" The two men stop at the lunch van only to see the occupants are nothing but smoking skeletons.
"DINNER TIME!" The Master screams at the top of his lungs as an echo is heard throughout the area. He leaps impossibly high into the air, diving head first at the men with his mouth wide open.
The Doctor and Fighter are standing high on a cliff, overlooking the rubbish dump area. The Doctor sniffs the air as the Fighter has her eyes closed, listening intently for anything besides the clock sound ticking away loudly in her mind. She tried calling out for the Master in her mind, but couldn't sense him. He was probably blocking her out, same with the Doctor.
Suddenly, the sound of a metal bar being dragged along the ground is heard. The Fighter turns her head over to the direction she hears it from, focusing on it.
The Master sits on a rocky ground with his black hoodie over his head. He flips it back and begins to sniff. He could smell them, his childhood friends. He picks up an iron bar and begins banging on the side of a red oil drum in four knocks. The Fighter opens her eyes quickly knowing it's her lover and begins running in the direction of it. The Doctor stays still to make sure as he begins to hear the four knocks again and follows after the Fighter.
The Master beats out the pattern twice more, faster and faster each time as he throws the bar down sensing the Fighter getting closer to him. "Come and get me darling!" He smirks as he begins to run away.
The Master reaches the top of a gravel hill as the Fighter runs up to him then stops, examining him and making sure he was really here. "M-Master..."
He looks to her with a foul smirk but warm eyes only for her. "My tiger, mine all mine."
The strawberry blonde haired Time Lady begins to slowly put her out towards his cheek gently as he flinches back with wide eyes. "K-Koschei? What's wrong?"
"Stay away from me! Don't look at me! I don't want you to see me in such a state!" He yells to her as he pulls his hoodie back over his head as though to hide himself.
The action and words remind the Fighter of the time she saw the Master as the decaying corpse skeleton back in her second regeneration on Gallifrey. That was the day she finally decided to run away with the Doctor, in his fourth regeneration at the time. She hadn't seen her two friends ever since they ran away. That was also the day she found out from the Doctor that the Master had turned evil.
Suddenly the Master looked up noticing the Doctor staring at the couple. The Master smirks at him then bellows out a almost animalistic roar as the Fighter covers her ears, looking to her lover shocked. The insane Time Lord leaps into the air disappearing on the other side of the hill. The Doctor and Fighter begin to run after him again.
They stop a short distance as the Master is standing on top of a pile of iron beams. The Doctor and Fighter are standing on the cement ground as the Fighter slowly begins to walk towards the Master again. The Master laughs as his form flickers showing his skeleton then back to normal again. The Time Lady looks to him shocked, oh the irony of that memory playing out before them once again.
"Please, let me help!" The Doctor pleads to his childhood friend. The blonde Time Lord gives a mocking look, knowing that was to be expected of course. "You're burning up your own life-force!"
The Fighter and Doctor begin to run around a pile of rusty steel bars only to run into Wilf and his group. "Oh, by gosh, Doctor, Fighter, you're a sight for sore eyes!"
"Hey, get away!" The brown haired Time Lord gives an irritated look as the Fighter is running around, looking for the Master who is no where to be found.
"Did we do it? Is that them?" the dark colored man asks.
"Tall and thin. Big brown coat. Strawberry blonde hair. Pink rainboots." Wilfred looks to his friends happily, ignoring the fact they were looking for someone. The two childhood friends begin to whisper to each other about where the Master could have gone.
"The Silver Cloak. It worked! 'Cos Wilf phoned Nettie, who phoned June. And her sister lives opposite Broadfell, and she saw the police box. And her neighbour saw this man and woman heading east." Minnie explained to the group.
The Doctor whispers to his friend "Wilfred?"
"Yeah?"
"Have you told them about us? You promised!"
"No, I just said you were a Doctor, and she was a Fighter, that's all. And might I say, sir, it is an honour to see you again." He salutes the Doctor as the Doctor gives him a look of annoyance. The old man then looks to the Time Lady "And you as well Miss." He gives her a salute as well.
"Thanks Wilf. Nice to see you again." She smiles to him happily.
Minnie walks up to the Fighter picking up her hair stands "Oh, just look at your hair. So beautiful! Reminds me of mine in the days, that's how I got my husband." She winks to the Fighter as the Time Lady gives a nervous laugh.
Minnie then looks over to the Doctor "Oh now you, you're a looker! He's gorgeous!" She hands the camera over to the bus driver "Take a photo." She looks to the two childhood friends. "I'm Minnie. Minnie the Menace." Minnie goes to stand in next to the Doctor as he gives the Fighter a look of confusion. She shruges her shoulders and mouths for him to go along with it. He puts an arm around her as the cheeky old lady puts her arm around his back.
Minnie smiles up to the Doctor "It's a long time since I had a photo with a handsome man."
"Just get off him. Leave him alone!" Wilf tries to tell his group.
The flirty old lady waves him off "Hush, you old misery!" She smiles to the Doctor once again as she pinches his cheeks "Come on, Doctor! Give us a smile!"
The Doctor gives a pained forced smile as the Fighter giggles silently to herself. The other's begin to gather around execpt for the phototaker as they pull the Fighter in with them. The Fighter, behind the Doctor gives a nervous laugh "Ah haha, we should really be leaving now."
"W-we are kind of busy, you know." The Doctor comments along with her as polite as he can.
"Oh, it won't take a tick. Keep smiling!"
The Doctor sighs, giving in along with the Fighter as Minnie's hand moves down, patting the Doctor's bum. The Fighter looks shocked with wide eyes as she tries to contain her giggling.
"Is that your hand, Minnie?" The Doctor yelps, jumping slightly. Minnie pulls him back over to her as the Fighter finally lets out her giggles. The Doctor looks to her with a look asking for help then back to the camera.
"Good boy!" Minnie smiled as she began to pat the brown haired Time Lord's bum again. The Fighter giggles, enjoying the moment "Oh poor Theta..."
The bus pulls up to a suburban street by a cafe as the Doctor, Fighter and Wilf get out. Everyone on the bus waves them goodbye as Minnie blows kisses to the Doctor. He looks around confused as the Fighter giggles.
"Right, over 'ere." Wilf walks over to a cafe as they follow.
"What's so special about this place? We've passed fifteen cafés on the way!" The Doctor asks him curiously.
The two childhood friends and Wilf sit down at a table. The Doctor and Fighter sit next to each other as Wilf sits opposite of them. The Doctor has his arms folded across his chest as the Fighter rests her arms on the table.
Wilf begins to go down memory lane "We had some good times, didn't we though? I mean, all those ATMOS things and planets in the sky and me with that paintgun." He gestures shooting as he makes shooting noises then chuckles. The Doctor looks wary and anxious as the Fighter gives a slight smile.
The old man looks around then to the Fighter "Speaking of that, where's your lover?"
The Fighter opens her mouth slightly then gives a sad look. "He uh...he died. But he came back apparently...at least I think." Her voice begins to shake a bit as she tries to remain strong and sighs "I don't know anymore."
"Well, I keep… seeing things. I – this face, At night."
Just as the Fighter was to ask about it, the Doctor suddenly asks Wilf a question. "Who are you?"
Wilf straightens himself, giving the Time Lord a confused look "I'm Wilfred Mott."
The Doctor shakes his head slightly "No. People have waited hundreds of years to find me and then you manage it in a couple of hours."
"Well, just lucky, I s'pose."
"No, we keep on meeting, Wilf. Over and over again. Like something's still connecting us."
"Well, what's so important about me?"
"Exactly. Why you?"
There is a silence as the Doctor looks out the window as people walk past outside with their usual lives. The Fighter looks to him worried, she could tell there was something he was scared about. Something bugging away at him. Could it be the Master or the Ood's prophecy?
The Doctor turned back looking to Wilf "I'm going to die."
Wilf gave a slight chuckle "Well, so am I, one day."
"Don't you dare!" The brown haired Time Lord begins to tear up, trying to hold back his tears. The Fighter gives a sad smile to him.
"All right, I'll try not to." The old man gives a slightly chuckle.
The Doctor swallows with his arms crossed "But I was told… 'He will knock four times.' That was a prophecy. Knock four times and then…"
Wilf interrupts saying a bit hesitantly "Yeah, but I… thought… When I saw you before, you said your people could change, like, your whole body, right?"
"But we can still die. If I'm killed before regeneration then I'm dead." The Doctor gives a quick glance to the Fighter, rembering the Master's recent death as he leans forward. "Even then, even if I change, it feels like dying. Everything I am dies. Some new man goes sauntering away. And I'm dead."
The Fighter nods, agreeing with him sadly. The Doctor's lower lip begins to tremble as the Time Lady sees him as he was when he was just a young boy, young and helpless. She puts an arm on his shoulder to help comfort him, knowing the feeling herself too well. Regeneration was never an easy thing. It was painful and a little piece of you dies with it, but you're reborn again as someone new and healed. Even then, it still hurts knowing that part of you is gone as someone new replaces it.
The two childhood friends then notice Wilfred looking out the window. "What?" They turn to see Donna getting her keys out of her coat.
The Fighter jerks her head back with wide eyes at seeing her friend as she closes her eyes to hold back her tears. Wilf notices and gives an apologetic smile "I'm sorry, but I had to. Look, can't you make her better?"
"Stop it!" The Doctor shouts out as his eyes are reddened by tears.
"Wilf..." The Fighter opens her blue eyes looking to him as tears silently fall.
"No, but you're so clever. Can't you bring her memory back? Just go to her now! Go on, just run across the street and say hello!"
The Fighter takes a quick glance at Donna then looks away. "If she ever remembers us, her mind will burn and she will die!" The brown haired Time Lord reminded Donna's grandfather.
Donna's voice could be heard outside "Don't you touch this car!" She yells to a police woman. The three of them chuckle.
"I'm glad she hasn't changed, she's such a good person." The pink rainboot wearing Time Lady chuckled wipping away her tears.
"No. Oh" A young man appears besides Donna "there he is! Shaun Temple – they're engaged! Getting married in the spring."
The brown coat wearing Time Lord looked to Wilf "Another wedding. Hold on, she's not going to be called 'Noble Temple' – it sounds like a tourist spot!"
"No, it's 'Temple Noble'."
"Is she happy? Is he nice?" The Fighter asks, worried for her friend. She didn't want her to experience what she went through with her ex husband, she didn't wish that upon any women.
"Yeah, he's sweet enough. He's a bit of a dreamer. Mind you, he's on minimum wage, she's earning tuppence, so all they can afford is a tiny little flat. And then sometimes I see this look on her face. Like she's so sad. But she can't remember why."
"She's got him." The Doctor says a bit sadly.
"She's making do."
"Aren't we all?"
Wilf looks to the two childhood friends "And how about you two? Who've you got now? Any new traveling companion?"
The Doctor shakes his head "No one, just me and the Fighter. I was Travelling alone for a bit though, I thought it was better." He shrugs a bit as he gives an agonizing look, on the verge of tears again. "But I did some things – it went wrong." The Fighter looks to him with guilt in her eyes knowing she shouldn't have listened to him insisting he would be fine. She shouldn't have left. She should have just stayed with him, helped him out instead of being selfish. "I need…"
He finally breaks down into tears as he covers his hand with his face. "Oh, my word!" Wilf looks to him concerned. The strawberry blonde Time Lady takes him into a hug as he hides his face into her chest. She rubs his hair like she always did when they where younger as he fights for control over his emotions.
He pulls away from her and looks back to Wilf. "Merry Christmas!" He says with a bitter tone.
"Yeah, and you." Wilf says with a bit of a sob. They all chuckle as the Doctor holds the Fighter's hand tightly for strength under the table.
"Look at us." The Time Lord gives a chuckle.
"D-don't you see? You both need her. I mean, look, wouldn't she make you laugh again? Good old Donna."
The Doctor nods as the Fighter gives a sad smile, wishing for it to happen but knowing it never will again. The Doctor, Fighter and Wilf get up and leave the cafe. The two childhood friends walk away with strong, determinded movements as Wilf watches them go. They had to the Master and put an end to this.
And so it came to pass that the players took their final places, making ready the events that were to come.
A madman sat in his empire of dust and ashes, little knowing of the glory he would achieve.
While his saviour's looked upon the wilderness in the hope of changing his inevitable fate.
Far away, the idiots and fools dreamt of a shining new future, a future now doomed to never happen.
As Earth rolled onwards into night, the people of that world did sleep and shiver, somehow knowing that the dawn would bring only one thing – the final day.
The story is going to start to get more interesting in the next chapter! Haha, some new faces and familiar ones will begin to appear. Like I said, you don't know what to expect on this one cause I do have my own twists to it. You will start to see it a lot more now in the next chapter.
Stay tunned for the next chapter everyone! Please leave me a review and let me know how I did in this chapter~! I hope everyone has a good month so far.
