This was one of those stories that I have been looking at to create for a long time, and enough people requested it so here we go. I hope that everyone enjoys. This one is a bit outside my comfort zone as far as character knowledge, because I have only watched the 100 once, all the way through, so a lot of this is research intense, so I hope to get chapters out in a timely manner. As always, I appreciate all of you! Don't forget to follow, favorite, and leave me reviews! If you want, you can drop me a PM, or email. My email is xkisakes at gmail or yahoo! [The Ark: Post Launch]

Abby Griffin walked through the halls briskly. The video released was done by Jaha's son, and everyone was in a panic, questioning everything. This was the sort of thing that she tried to avoid when she stopped her husband from releasing this information. The hardest thing she had to do, was to report Jake for his treason. She lost a husband that day, but she also lost her daughter. She ducked into the command central, looking at the screen as the names and photos of the 100 lives displayed vitals. So far, there were 13 dead. Two dying right before impact with the ground, and 11 more dying from the shock she was assuming. Then two more thirty minutes later.

"Talk to me Stefan." Abby said lowly, leaning over his shoulder.

"Looks like the atmosphere is full of oxygen, and it is breathable. I'm not sure what happened to Bella Swan and Bellamy Blake. We don't have cameras on the ground, so we can't be for sure what is happening. We don't have contact either, just their vitals." Stefan relayed.

Abby nodded. "Okay, so there are 85 left?"

"Yes."

"And Clarke is fine. Her vitals are stable."

Stefan nodded. "Everyone looks stable for now. Some increased heartrates but I think that's from the excitement of being in new territory." He explained.

"Alright. Keep me updated." She said and then left the command and went to search for Thelonious.

[The Ground: Somewhere 10 miles away from the drop]

The forest was thick, and it was clear that in 97 years, life had come back from the nuclear fall out of the all world war. Sweat coated Bella's skin heavily as they hiked through the forest, heading west, towards the drop point.

"How much farther is the base?" Finn asked, breathing heavy.

Bella didn't stop moving and kept trekking forward. "Finn, if you were going to complain the whole time, you could have stayed with the drop ship."

"Can we take a pause?" the snake asked, and Bella sighed turning to look at him.

"What's your name again?"

"Murphy."

Bella nodded. "Right. Do you see the sun?" She asked, pointing up at the sky. "We have about 6 hours of daylight left. If we want to get to the base before dark, we need to keep moving."

Bellamy looked to Bella. "It's not a bad idea to rest a couple minutes and drink some water. It's extremely hot and humid."

Bella looked at Bellamy and sighed. "Fine. Five minutes, but we have to keep moving forward." She said and grabbed water from her backpack and threw a bottle at Finn, who caught it and opened it. She opened the other, and took a drink and handed it to Bellamy, who took a drink after her.

After they rested a few minutes, Bella took her shirt off over her head, ringing it out a little from the sweat, glancing up at four sets of eyes staring at her. "Yes, I have boobs." She muttered. She was wearing a sports bra, so it wasn't like she was naked. She slung her shirt over her shoulder and kept hiking forward, the others following silently.

After a couple more hours of hiking in the heat, they paused again, this time to look at a spring that was so clear, Bella could literally feel the cool water on her skin.

"I'll be damned." Bellamy said, looked at the water that cascaded down in a waterfall. They hiked down to the pool below, looking at the crystal-clear water.

Finn peeled his shirt off. "I'll test it out." He said, and then unfastened his pants, stepping out of them and his boots before stepping into the water. "Oh man." He said and walked in further. "This feels amazing."

Bella and Bellamy exchanged looks, and she set her bag down on the ground. Murphy was already getting into the water. Bellamy pulled his shirt off, and took his pants off too, to join the others. She looked back at Jasper. "Go ahead."

Jasper nodded. "I'll just hang back. Keep an eye out. We still don't know what sort of wildlife is still alive."

"Good point." She said and then unfastened her own pants and stepped out of them. Bellamy glanced over at her, as she stood in her bra and panties, testing the water with her foot. He looked away, to try and not stare at her body. She walked in farther, letting the cool water wash away the heat from her skin. None of them knew how to swim, so they just stayed where they could see and feel the bottom.

"This is awesome." Finn said, slinging his head back, whipping the water from his hair.

Jasper glanced around, keeping an eye out but looked back at the others in the water, and frowned when he saw a shadow shift over in the deeper part. "Guys, there's something in the water."

Bella frowned, looking around, and then backed up. "Okay, everyone out."

Everyone went to the banks, Murphy the last to get there when something snagged his foot.

"Shit," Bella cursed and grabbed Murphy's hand and pulled at him, going into the water some as whatever had it's hold on his foot, pulling harder than she was.

Murphy cried out in pain, panic filling him as well as some water, as he struggled and thrashed to try and get free.

Jasper waded into the water with Bella, grabbing Murphy's other hand and pulling, trying to keep him from being drug under.

Bellamy looked around for something sharp but couldn't find anything, but he found a large rock. He picked it up and threw it over Murphy, Jasper, and Bella, and whatever it was let go long enough for Bella and Jasper to pull Murphy out of the water onto the shore.

Their breathing was labor, as they had just exerted a lot of energy trying to save Murphy. Bella looked at Murphy's foot, seeing the purplish bruising of what looked like restraints.

"What the fuck was that?" Finn said, running a hand through his wet hair.

"I don't know, but whatever it is it's strong." Bella said and stood. "Murphy can you stand?"

Murphy stumbled up to his feet, testing his weight on his foot. "I think so. I don't think it's broken..."

Bella nodded, and then bent and picked up his clothes and tossed them to him. "Alright. Get dressed, let's keep moving." She said and then stooped to pick up her own clothes. She pulled her pants back on, fastening them and then slid her shirt on She rung out her hair some, but then twisted it back, tying it in a knot to keep it out of her face more.

They started hiking again, Jasper and Finn helping Murphy hike up the steeper parts, but he wasn't complaining too much.

A few hours later, the sun was falling in the sky, and that worried Bella somewhat.

"Hey, is that it? Blinking red light." Bellamy pointed out.

Bella jogged over to the large shuttle. It landed off course by a few miles, which was lucky for them. She went to the panel, popping it open and punching in a sequence of numbers, and the door opened. "Oh Stefan, you are a savior." She said and climbed in, hitting the overhead light to turn it on.

Bellamy looked inside. "This is a lot. I wonder how they snuck this off the Ark."

"Very carefully. This drop was coming for months. Stefan, my guy in the sky, started collecting things and storing them in the mechanic bay, until now."

"You knew they were dropping us here?" Bellamy asked incredulously.

"Yes. I knew." Bella said. "I knew that Chancellor Jaha was going to do something irrational the moment Jasper showed up in the Skybox."

Bellamy was trying to wrap his head around everything. "Wait, so what did Jasper do?"

"I attacked Chancellor Jaha, tried to kill him. Threatened to tell everyone about the failing life support." Jasper said as he walked up. "I wasn't alone in the matter. A lot of us here, put into motion a plan thought out thoroughly by Bella herself."

"How did you get to talk to her with her being in lockup for so long?" Bellamy asked.

Jasper smirked. "We were on a space station full of geniuses. You think Monty and Jasper Jordan only stole herbs to make illegal synthetic drugs?"

"I can't believe this." Bellamy murmured.

Bella smiled. "Believe what you want. Every part of this plan has been executed perfectly. Except for you being found in the floorboards, and your mother and sister being floated, most of my key players, got themselves arrested so they would be apart of this."

"They willingly wanted to risk their lives for a possibility?"

"The Ark is going to die…in a month's time. Which is why Jaha did what he did and shipped us here. It was either die with the Ark in space or die trying to live." Bella said.

Bellamy could understand that. He swallowed and looked around the shuttle. "So, who all is in on this secret mission?"

Bella looked at Jasper. "Let's see. Jazz, Jasper, Monty, Caroline, Tyler, and Fox." She looked around the cabin in the shuttle. "Stefan sent a lot down. It's more than what I was anticipating."

"He sent weapons." Jasper said, leaning in and lifting a crate. "I wonder why he thought we-"

"Shhh." Bella said, hearing a sound in the forest. "Finn, Murphy, get in here." She murmured lowly and Finn helped Murphy up into the shuttle and then followed in after him. "Pull that door." She told Finn, and Finn did it without question. They weren't in complete darkness as the overhead lamp gave them enough light to see. They were silent, listening to different sounds. There was a rapping on the outside of the shuttle.

Bellamy and Bella exchanged looks.

"Em came kom Skai," a voice sounded outside the shuttle. (It came from the Sky)

"Ban op em. Em could na dangerous," another voice sounded back. (Leave it. It could be dangerous.)

There were a couple pauses, and then more rapping on the hull.

"Em ste hollow," The first voice stated. (It is hollow)

Bella wasn't sure what language they were speaking. It wasn't English, which was the dominant language on the Ark. There were people alive down on Earth. They didn't know if they were hostile or not.

There was more movement on the outside, then some sliding of something over the hull of the shuttle. Bella grabbed one of the weapons from the crate carefully, looking to make sure it wasn't on safety, and waited, stepping out in front of the others, so if they managed to open the door, her face was the first thing they would see.

"Nou. Oso souda kom daun, maun hef are seintaim close," the other voice said quickly, and then there was shuffling, and then silence. (No. We must return. The mountain men are too close.)

"Are they gone?" Murphy whispered.

"I think so." Bella said and looked at Bellamy. "We're not alone."

Bellamy was frowning. "What language was that?"

"I don't know. It's probably a native language." Bella said. "Em ste hollow." She murmured. "Hollow? Like the hull is hollow. They said it after they knocked on it again."

Jasper nodded. "I memorized what they say. Caroline is a linguist, she might be able to decipher it."

"We have to bunk down for the night. We can't move through the woods with all of this in one trip."

"But if we leave anything behind, what are the odds they find it and take it back with them?" Bellamy asked.

Bella nodded. "You're right." She said and then swiped at her brow as sweat dripped. She was thinking, trying to figure out how to get all the supplies back in one go. "Okay, we can use the interior wall panels as a sled. We pile it up, strap it down, and two of us pull one, and two with the other."

"What about Murphy's foot?" Finn asked.

Bella sighed. "Right." She looked through the cache, looking at medical supplies. She found some bandaging. "I'll wrap his foot, to keep it stable. If we have to, then he has to ride on the sled." She said and bent down and rolled Murphy's pant leg up. The foot looked worse. "Maybe you did break it…"She murmured.

Murphy looked at his foot. "Shit…it's all purple."

"Does it not hurt?"

"It's throbbing, but I figured it was just a bad bruise." He said.

Bella blew out a breath. "Can you rotate it?"

Murphy rotated his foot, wincing a little.

"Okay, maybe just a sprain." She said and then took the bandage and started wrapping it tight, but not tight enough to cut of the circulation. She then grabbed ibuprofen that was in the medical supplies and gave it to Murphy. "For the pain." She said and then stood.

Bellamy took a seat on the floor, thinking about there being life there too. "Okay, so what if they come back in the morning when we're trying to load all this stuff?"

Bella raised the gun, pointing at it. "We have guns. We shoot them."

"What if they're friendly?" Finn asked.

"We can't assume that they are. If we make that assumption, it might cost us our lives." Jasper answered for Bella.

Bella nodded. "I'll take the first watch; you guys get some rest. I'll wake you up Jasper in four hours."

Everyone hunkered down, waiting for morning to come, so they could move the supplies back to the drop ship.

[The Drop Ship: The Next Day]

Everyone was in a panic. It wasn't surprising that with a ship full of delinquents that there would be some foul play in the midst.

Clarke tried to hold everyone together. "We have to stay calm. We-"

"Who killed Wells!" Someone shouted. "Someone needs to come forward!"

Clarke swallowed. She found Wells dead, stabbed to death. It didn't take much to put two and two together. Wells was assassinated for who his father was. Many of them here were there because Chancellor Jaha had put them there. "We have to stay calm so this doesn't turn into a witch hunt. Please-"

"When is Bella and the others coming back?" Another person asked.

Clarke nodded. "They will be back. They went to find supplies, supplies needed to survive."

"That was yesterday! How far are we from these supplies?"

Clarke started to say something, but then someone pointed out movement in the trees. Bellamy and Finn were dragging something behind them, drenched in sweat and had seen some better days it seemed, with filth covering them.

Right behind them was Bella and Jasper, pulling something else, with Murphy sitting on it.

Clarke rushed off the ramp and jogged over towards them. "You made it back."

Bella's sight zoomed in on Tyler and Fox. "Ty, Fox, finish dragging this." She barked out, and Tyler, a guy with dark hair, slightly short, and dark eyes, jumped to help along with a girl with light brown hair and green eyes. Bella and Jasper straightened, their muscles screaming from hauling Murphy's ass and the cache supply, 15 miles from the drop site. But they went to help Bellamy and Finn finish hauling the larger cache sled closer to the drop ship.

"We're not alone." Bella murmured to Clarke in her ear.

Clarke frowned. "What?"

"There are still people alive down here. We're not alone."

"That's impossible."

Bella shook her head, dropping her pack and reaching in and grabbing water and taking a drink. "It's possible. We saw them and heard them."

Tyler looked at Murphy. "What happened to you?"

"We found a spring 9 miles from here, and well, we were hot. Let's just say there's something that lives in there, and it's strong." He said and struggled to get to his feet, so Tyler reached out and steadied him.

Everyone was standing around, whispering, and just staring.

Bella looked around the crowd. "Where's Wells?"

Clarke frowned. "Something happened."

"What happened?"

"Someone killed Wells."

"What the fuck?" Bella exclaimed, and then looked back at the crowd. She looked over the faces, and then she zoned in on a small girl, who looked like she was ready to fall apart. "Did you question people?"

"No, I was trying to keep them calm. Everyone is scared." Clarke said.

Bella nodded. "Alright. Listen up everyone. We have a bunch of supplies that needs to be brought into the drop ship. Monty, Jasper J, Tyler, Jazz, Finn, Bell, come with me." She said and then walked off towards a more private clearing. She turned and faced the ones that followed her. "Alright, the little girl. She's what, eleven?"

Monty nodded. "Charlotte. She's just a girl. What about her?"

"She killed Wells."

"What? How do you know?" Bellamy asked.

Bella nodded. "She looks like she's about to fall apart, and the fact that there's blood on her right shoe, and a slight muddy red stain on her jacket, left sleeve."

"I didn't even notice any of that." Jasper J murmured.

Bella looked at him. "Well, I'm more observant." She said and then sighed. "People are scared about Wells being killed. I imagine she killed him because she wanted revenge on Jaha, but we can't focus on that. We are not the only ones here. There are far more dangerous things out there in the woods."

"What do you mean?" Monty asked.

"She means, that there are people here on the ground. People that survived the nuclear fallout. And they aren't nice. We encountered three of them when we were pulling the supplies here. Bella and Jazz killed them, but that doesn't mean that there aren't more of them." Bellamy supplied.

Monty looked at Bella. "So, are we going to push the plan faster?"

"We're going to have to. Jazz, talk to Care and tell her verbatim what they said. She might be able to decipher the language." Bella said and looked at Finn. "Do you think you can handle Clarke?"

"Why do I have to handle the princess?"

"Because you're nicer than me." Bella said. "I don't have time to run interference. I've got to get another message to my guy in the sky. Let him know the situation down here." Bella said.

Bellamy nodded. "I'll gather some of the stronger guys, get some sort of defense up. We need walls."

"Sounds like a plan. Tyler, you Monty and Jasper J get the stuff organized and inventoried. We have 86 of us. We have to make sure our rations go a long way."

"What about Charlotte?" Monty asked.

Bella nodded. "I'll deal with her." She said and then wiped more sweat from her brow. The humidity was literally breath taking, and after pulling a sled with Murphy and supplies on it, she just wanted to sit down and rest, but there was too much to do. The group split up, going to their tasks, while Bella beelined for Charlotte.

Charlotte looked up at Bella, fear in her eyes. "C-can I help you?"

Bella nodded. "Yeah. I hear your name is Charlotte."

"Yeah."

"Can you tell me why you killed my friend?"

Charlotte looked around. "I don't know what you're talking about."

Bella nodded. "How old are you?"

"Twelve."

"You know that killing is wrong, right?"

Charlotte swallowed, and then burst into tears. "I thought that if I….if I killed him, I could get the images out of my head." She sobbed.

Bella sighed. "Jaha killed your parents?" She was starting to remember the story. She never felt like Charlotte belonged in the Skybox. She was only ten at the time, but Jaha didn't care, and sent her there anyways."

Charlotte wiped at her face. "He did." She whispered.

"And killing Wells…did it help with the images?"

"No," Charlotte sobbed again.

Bella nodded. "Okay. Come with me." She said and grabbed Charlotte's arm and guided her with her towards the drop ship. Other's stopped to look at what Bella was doing. She tipped over a crate and then lifted Charlotte and placed her on it. "Everyone's attention."

People stopped what they were doing and looked at Bell and Charlotte.

"Charlotte killed Wells."

Charlotte snapped her head over to Bella, tears in her eyes. People were murmuring.

"Now that you know who the killer is, what do you think we should do about it?"

"She's just a girl." One girl said.

Bella looked over at her. "Right, she's a twelve year old girl, who murdered a person. Any other observations?"

Clarke frowned. "This is madness. She's small, she couldn't-"

"I killed Wells because his father killed my family." Charlotte blurted out. "I thought that if I killed him that it would….help me, but it didn't." She sniffed.

Clarke stared at Charlotte, stunned that a little girl could do something like that.

"So, like I was saying," Bella said, looking away from Clarke. "She killed Wells. If this was the Ark, they'd lock her in the Skybox until she was 18, then probably float her."

People looked at each other, murmuring.

"But I can see now, that because she's a small girl, none of you want to be the one to speak up." Bella said.

"We can't float her." Murphy spoke up. "We're on the ground."

Bella looked at Murphy. "Are you suggesting that we kill her?" She asked, arching a brow.

"I didn't say that either." Murphy stammered a little.

"Right, so Charlotte. What do you think we should do?"

Charlotte swallowed. "I don't know." She said her voice was small.

"She can't go around killing people to make herself feel better." One person finally said.

"Yeah, she killed someone. What if she tries to kill one of us next?"

Clarke looked at Bella. "Bella, this isn't right."

Bella looked at Clarke. "It's not right because she's a little girl. That's what you're saying. What if someone else had killed Wells?"

"I-"

"Do you think that it's okay to justify a killing based on how old someone is or what gender they are?" Bella asked. "Charlotte. Are you going to kill again?"

Charlotte shook her head. "No, I swear. I didn't even like doing it, I tried to stop the bleeding afterwards." She insisted.

Bella looked at Charlotte. "Lying doesn't help you Charlotte."

"What?"

"Your clothes. You said you tried to stop the bleeding. You would have more blood on you."

Charlotte paled a little. "I…I-"

Bella looked at Clarke. "We can't let people… get away with murder. Even if they are a little girl."

"What-"

"We can't….let people….get away with murder." Bella repeated herself calmly.

Charlotte saw that this wasn't going her way, so she took the knife from her pocket and launched herself at Bella, but Bella anticipated the reaction. She moved quickly, disarming Charlotte, and twisting her arm up behind her back, locking it into place.

Bella looked at Clarke. "We…. can't…. let people…get away with murder." She said and took the weapon from her side that was in the cache, a small pistol and shot Charlotte in the back of the head, without flinching, and without looking away from Clarke.

Clarke stood there stunned, eyes wide, looking at Bella, not believing what just happened.

Bellamy watched from the ramp, grimacing as Charlotte's body hit the ground with a slump. Bella and Clarke stared at each other, like it was a staring contest. He swallowed and walked over, whistling to Tyler to get his attention to follow him. "Tyler, take her body and put it with Wells to be buried."

Bella looked at Bellamy. "Thank you." She said and then looked back at Clarke. "I'm not going to let people think they can murder someone just because they want to. There are people here, on the ground, and now my biggest concern is keeping everyone safe. If you have a problem with it, then so be it." She looked around, people still standing in shock. "We're not alone on the ground. We need to be offensive about how we protect ourselves against the others. They are not friendly." She said out loud. "We don't have time to stand around and think too much about what has already happened. Bellamy is gathering people to help build a wall. Jazz is working to get things organized in the drop ship. We need an operational camp. All my botanist, go find Monty. If you're a linguist, go see Caroline. If you know tech, see Jasper J or me." She said and then turned and walked back towards the drop ship without another word.

Clarke looked at Bellamy. "She just killed a little girl."

"She just killed a murderer, who tried to kill her too. Age does not make a difference. Bella may seem brutal, but she knows what has to be done to survive." Bellamy said to Clarke and then followed Bella up into the drop ship.
