[The Ark: 2 weeks after Drop ship launch]

Stefan went to the mechanic bay, looking around to be sure that he wasn't followed, and waited, looking at his watch.

"Stefan." A voice called to him lowly.

"Damon." Stefan murmured back.

Damon Salvatore was an engineer on the Ark, and also the older brother of Stefan. In secret, Stefan was given to another family, and passed off as Stefan Halbrook. It was to avoid their parents from being floated for breaking the one child rule, but they always knew they were brothers, their parents never lied to them, and they understood the importance of staying secretive about it.

"Did you drop the cache?" Damon asked Stefan as he got closer.

"Yes. She got it. She sent a message back. They aren't alone on the ground. There are people there that survived the nuclear fallout." Stefan explained quickly.

"Seriously?"

"Yeah."

Damon nodded. "Okay. Jaha is planning on sending more drop ships in two weeks. The life support system, I managed to get another month of air supply reallocated, but people are starting to panic. If we're going to go to the ground, we need to plan it soon."

"Is everyone ready?"

"Ric is ready, he just needs to know when. Niklaus wants to hurry the hell up off this station, and Bonnie does too. We need to proceed carefully." Damon said quietly.

Stefan nodded. "Raven and I have the shuttle nearely ready. We just need another day."

Damon nodded. "Okay." He said and started to turn. "And brother…"

"Yes?"

"If for some reason I don't make it to the launch, you go without me. We don't wait. We set a time, and if we're not all there at that time, you go."

Stefan frowned. "Why wouldn't you make it?"

"I will make it, but if I don't, then don't wait. It's important you get down to the ground. The drop ship…will only be able to take 600 of us to the ground. There are far more on this Ark." Damon said, his crystal blue eyes staring into Stefan's. "The objective is to get to the ground. No matter what."

Stefan nodded, understanding. "But you're coming with."

Damon smiled. "I am." He said and then patted Stefan's cheek. "I've got to be in the council meeting with Jaha. He's…talking about calling for some volunteers."

"Volunteers for what?"

"To sacrifice themselves to give the Ark more time. Like I said. I managed to get another month, but it's not without…consequences." Damon said. "Keep working on the shuttle." He said and then turned and left.

[The Ground]

Bella rotated her shoulder. She was sore from sparing with Tyler Lockwood. He was a beast when it came to hand to hand, but she could still hold her own. Tyler was one of the others that was locked in the Skybox, shortly after she was. His family came from a military background. His own father being apart of the Guard.

"Too bad we don't have any ice." Bellamy said, as he walked over to Bella. Her bunk was inside the drop ship, and was under Caroline's. They fashioned hammocks and bunks inside the drop ship everywhere, and then there were some shelters outside, for different things. The walls were up, and so far they haven't encountered too many grounders.

Bella looked up at Bellamy and smiled. "Yeah, it'll be okay. Overextended an arm bar, but I still managed to flatten Ty."

"Four more died." Bellamy said as he crouched down. "They… took their own lives."

Bella sighed closing her eyes. "We're at what, 79 now?"

Bellamy nodded. "Yeah."

The console beeped and Bella looked over at it. She got up, her muscles yelling at her, but she pushed through it and went to look at the screen.

Shuttle coming tomorrow. Jaha is culling people on the Ark to give more time.

Bella frowned. "Jaha is killing people to give the Ark more time before life support fails." She said looking at Bellamy.

"That's crazy."

"I know." Bella said and sighed. She typed something on the console, sending coordinates for the shuttle to drop, and then stood, stretching.

Bellamy reached over and put his hands on her shoulders and massaged her.

Bella closed her eyes, letting Bellamy help relieve the tension in her shoulders. "Thank you."

"Hmm. Well, you look stressed."

"I do?" Bella said, opening her eyes and turning and looking at Bellamy. "I'm trying to keep us all alive."

Bellamy nodded. "You are. Hence why I said you looked stressed." He moved his hands to her arms, running them down them gently. "Do you want to relieve…some stress?"

"What are you proposing, Bellamy Blake?" Bella asked, her eyes not leaving his.

Bellamy's hands found her hips, and he pulled her against him.

"There's not a lot of privacy." Bella pointed out.

"Mmm. But there is. The supply closet, the door does shut." Bellamy suggested.

Bella nodded. "That's true, but how far are you wanting to go?"

Bellamy blew out a breath. "How's at least 2nd base?"

"I could do that." Bella said with a nod.

Bellamy smiled and took her hand and guided her to the supply closet, closing the door. The space was small, but that was the point. He cupped her face, drawing her close, his lips brushing hers. When her lips parted, he took that opportunity and tasted her, his tongue sliding across hers, dancing together while his other hand moved up under her shirt, his hand warmer than her skin, and she shivered slightly, but continued to press against him, her own hands wounding up around his neck. His hand continued to edge up, brushing over the material over her breast, and she didn't protest, and he groped her gently, his thumb rubbing over her nipple, gathering a rise from her.

Bella moved her hands down, catching at the hem of Bellamy's shirt and pulled it up. They broke the kiss, tugging on each other's shirt. Bella's hands moved over Bellamy's chest, leaning into him again and kissed him. His hands moved over her bare skin, to her breast again. Her hands traveled back down as their kissing became more urgent, and she unfastened his belt.

Bellamy pulled back from the kiss. "Bella…"he breathed out her name.

"I decided 3rd base is more fun." She said with a smile, and then kissed him again, finishing unbuckling his pants. He was already so hard, that he was straining to be free. When she wrapped her hand around him, he groaned, shifting his hips against her hand.

"Bella…" he murmured, but she continued, stroking him steadily.

Bellamy's hands went to her pants, undoing the button and sliding them down, his hand going to toy with her, and she gasped as he rubbed over her clit in fast circles. "Fair is fair," he barely got out, as she stroked him faster and he moaned.

Bella felt like she was going to burst as he slipped a finger inside her, stroking her from the inside, taking her by surprise. "Fuck me." She gasped, shifting and pulling at his pants to get them down farther. Bellamy did the same, and then hoisted her up, pinning her to the door of the supply closet, and then entered her, thrusting up into her quick, sheathing himself fully inside her. He moaned, at how tight she was, as she clung around him. She gasped her eyes dilating as she stared at him.

"You, okay?" He murmured and she nodded, her mouth covering his and then he started thrusting into her against.

Bella moaned as the floodgates opened and she shuddered around him, her orgasm strong, wetting his tip. Her nails raked over his back as she clung to him.

Bellamy groaned, plunging faster, a little harder until he was breaking open, spraying himself inside her. His breaths came in pants as he came to a stop. He kissed her again before letting her down to her feet. He brought his hands up and framed her face, brushing back her hair, kissing her again.

Bella kissed him back, before moving to pull her pants back on and Bellamy did the same. They were quiet as they redressed.

"Bella…" Bellamy began.

Bella looked at him, giving him a smile. "Let's not make this a big deal." She said and then leaned in and kissed him quickly, before leaving the supply closet, leaving Bellamy standing there, a little speechless.

[The Ark: Shuttle Launch]

Stefan looked at his watch, getting nervous as time got closer for them to launch the shuttle to go to the ground. Alaric Saltzman was the first of the six to make it to the launch. "Where's the others?" Stefan asked.

"I'm here." Niklaus said, sauntering in. "Bon Bon is with Damon." Niklaus was only going to the ground for one person, and that person wasn't Bella. He looked at his watch. "Seven minutes. Where's Rav-"

"I'm here, don't get your panties in a twist." Raven Reyes. A knock out with her looks. Her dark hair was like pitch, going to the middle of her back, but she kept it pulled up. She was wearing a mechanic's uniform. She worked in the mechanic's bay, and despite her looks, she was a damn good mechanic. Her dark eyes and olive complexion made it obvious that she had Latina roots from her ancestors from the ground.

Stefan looked at his watch again. "Three minutes. Alright, everyone get ready." He said and watched as the others got into the shuttle. He was waiting until last moment, to get in. He looked towards the door, and saw Bonnie rushing towards him.

"We gotta go now." She said, and then Damon was right behind her.

"What happened?" Stefan asked.

Damon shook his head. "Get in the shuttle Stefan." He said quickly, shoving his brother into the shuttle after Bonnie.

Guard stormed into the mechanic bay, and Damon turned to face them. "Tell Jaha to suck it, if he makes it." He said and then ducked onto the shuttle, before the Guard could rush him. The doors shut closed, and Raven hit some buttons, and pulled a lever.

"Buckle up." Raven said, and the others strapped in as the shuttle dropped out of the ship.

Marcus Kane, the leader of the guard cursed as he watched shuttle drop into space. "Get Abby Griffin." He said. "Tell them that Chancellor Jaha has been wounded. We need to save his life." He clenched his fist, watching the shuttle travel away quickly, leaving the range of the Ark, and going towards Earth.

[The Ground]

Bella ate the soup that Fox and Monty put together for lunch. She checked her watch for the time, and knew that the shuttle launch was happening soon.

"Bella," Finn called her name as he walked up to her.

Bella glanced over at him. "Yes Finn?"

"We're missing about a dozen people."

"What?"

"Yes. I thought Clarke was acting strange this morning, but she's part of that dozen." Finn said.

Bella sighed. "You were supposed to handle her Finn."

"Well, she's Clarke. I woke up to her gone."

"You slept with her?" Bella asked raising a brow.

"Well…"

Bella shook her head, finishing up her soup. "Alright. The other people, who left with her?"

"Uh…two botanists, a linguist, a chemist, and….the others I'm not sure. I'm not good with names."

Bellamy jogged up. "Bella, the shuttle launch, they should have launched just now. Do we want to hike to the coordinates to meet them?"

"Yeah." She said as she stood. "Don't worry about Clarke. If she wants to be an idiot, let her."

"What about the grounders? Tyler killed two this morning."

"I know. Which makes her a bigger idiot." Bella said. "She'll either be back, or she'll get herself killed. Either way, not my problem right now." She said.

Finn sighed. "You have to care somewhat."

"Finn, I care about the people that want to be saved. I care about the shuttle that's about to hit the atmosphere in twenty minutes, and land, hopefully without killing the people on it. I care about survival. Clarke, wants to do things her way because she thinks it's better, let her. For now, we have more things to worry about. Tighten patrols, make sure our people aren't alone on watches, and the people who are trained with the weapons, are at least 1 to 1 in a group."

"Alright, and who is going to meet the shuttle with you?" Finn asked.

"Bellamy, Jazz, and Monty." Bella relayed. "Can you handle things with us gone?"

"Yeah, I'm not an idiot."

Bella raised a brow. "That's debatable…spacewalk."

Finn smirked, "I'm never gonna live that down huh."

"Nope." Bella said and patted his cheek. "Don't worry about Clarke. She's not completely inadequate when it comes to using a weapon. She may be high strung, but I don't think she would intentionally get her and eleven others killed. Wait a while, and if she's not back by the time I get back, then I'll go looking for her myself."

Finn nodded. "Thank you."

"Hmm." Bella said and then slapped Bellamy's chest. "Come on." She said and walked towards the drop ship.

The hike to the coordinates was only about fifteen minutes away, which was the equivalent of half a mile from their location. The group moved through the terrain faster because they scouted the most. The shuttle broke the atmosphere, and Bella saw as it came in fast. She held her breath waiting for the retrorockets to kick in, and when they did, she let her breath go. The ground shook a little as the shuttle landed. Bella and the others jogged towards the shuttle. The door to the shuttle popped over a few minutes later, and Bella waited, her eyes searching the doorway. The first to stumble out was Raven, which had Monty going forward to catch her, moving her away from the shuttle. She coughed, sucking in the denser oxygen of the ground's atmosphere.

Niklaus walked out next, shielding his eyes slightly, as he adjusted to the daylight around him. He looked at Bella. "Bella."

"Klaus!" She said.

"Where's Caroline?"

"She's back at camp. She's okay. I promised you I would keep her safe." Bella said with a smile, and then he was hugging her.

Bonnie emerged next, and Bella moved from Klaus to go help Bonnie as she wobbled a little. "Thank you." She murmured with a smile, and then when she got her footing, she shifted away from Bella to hug Raven and then Niklaus. They all thought they were going to die with how the rockets delayed in working.

Alaric stumbled out of the shuttle, Klaus catching him and patted his back. "That was horrifying." He managed to say after taking a few deep breaths.

Stefan walked out slowly, Damon behind him. They looked around at the woods, and the clearing that they were in, and then Stefan's eyes landed on Bella. "Bella!" He stumbled towards her, and Bella caught him against her.

"You're here!" Bella exclaimed and then saw Damon, her heart nearly stopping. "You came…." She murmured.

Damon looked at Bella, obvious exhaustion on his face. "I told you….I would see you again one day." He said, and Bella threw her arms around Damon, hugging him tight.

"I can't believe it." She murmured, and then pulled back to look at him, her hands framing his face. "Why did you risk everything?"

"Because I love you. I told you when I left the Skybox, that it wouldn't be forever." Damon said with a tired smile.

Bella smiled. "I love you too. Big brother."

Bellamy thought that the relationship was something different, like they were lovers previously, but siblings? "Wait what?"

Bella turned and looked at Bellamy. "My father, Charles Swan, wasn't my real father." She explained. "My mother couldn't have children, but Lilian…she could. They did it in secret, making sure no one else knew."

"That's…incredible." Bellamy murmured. "How did they keep the pregnancy a secret?"

"Our mother is very crafty." Damon said. "Stefan was placed with the Halbrooks, and then a year later, Bella was placed with Renee and Charles Swan."

"Charles was the Chancellor." Bellamy said.

"I know." Damon said with a nod. "He knew from the start that Bella was going to be his. He kept it a secret. He never knew about Stefan, but he knew that in order to make his wife happy, he would have to sacrifice something."

Bella smiled. "I can't believe you came down here. What about-"

"I stabbed Jaha on my way out." Damon said. "I had no choice but to actually make the shuttle. If I didn't, then I would be floated right now."

Bellamy stared at Damon. "You killed Jaha?"

"Attempted. Abbigail Griffin is likely saving his life right now." Damon said, and then looked around. "How far out is the Mount Weather?"

Bella pointed in the direction of the base. "But we haven't ventured into the mountain. There are people here on the ground, and they're not that friendly. So, we've set up camp at the drop ship."

"Okay. We should steer clear from that base."

"What why?"

Damon looked at Raven. "We found some scans that show that the base is still functional and isn't dormant like we thought."

"What do we do now? We can't stay out in the open like we are forever." Bella said.

Damon seemed to be in thought now. "Well, we could just build up what we have."

Bella nodded, and then looked at Bellamy. "Well let's get back to camp. We can go over some logistics when we get there. I don't like being outside our wall for too long with grounders lurking."

Bellamy nodded his agreement. "She's right. So far, they haven't attacked in full force, but we shouldn't take those chances."

Alaric pulled something from his pocket, and it gauged the radiation in the atmosphere. "Peculiar."

Bella looked over at Alaric. "What is?"

"The radiation in the atmosphere isn't harming us. This atmosphere is still radioactive. It seems like it's possible, our bodies are immune to these levels. I'm not sure, but has anyone experienced any sickness of sorts?"

Bella shook her head. "No. We have had some real deaths. I know that our vitals are static on the Ark."

Stefan nodded. "Yes, still shows 86 alive."

"There's 79 alive." Bella said. "We've lost some people. Which reminds me. We need to get back to see if Clarke is still missing." She said and sighed. Clarke was a pain in her ass, from the beginning. She shouldn't go after her and let her experience survival on her own, but if she did that, it could upset the balance, so she would go after her, to bring her back. They grabbed their things from the shuttle, including some more supplies, and started the fifteen minute hike back to camp.
