Chapter 1-Life in Green Hills.

Sonic ran through the town, making one stop at a chili dog stand.

"Hey, Zack!" Sonic said.

"What's up, Blue Blur? The usual?" Zack asked.

"Yes, sir!" Sonic said. After two minutes, which involved Sonic tapping his foot, his patience was rewarded with a chili dog topped with extra chili.

"There you go." Zack said.

"Thanks, Zack." Sonic said before he downed the chili dog and rushed off.

He then rushed into the forest, where he did loop de loops on branches and tested his Quick Step technique before he jumped out of a tree before eyeing a target set in the backyard of Tom's house. He then curled into a ball and zipped right at it, hitting it dead center.

"And another target goes down!" Sonic said.

"Nice job, Sonic." Maddie said as she walked out the back door.

"Thanks, Maddie." Sonic said.

Later, it was movie night and Sonic had just come back from getting the snacks needed.

"Come on, please, please, please, please." Sonic said, keeping his fingers crossed as he walked in and saw Speed on TV.

"Yes!" Sonic said.

The next day, Sonic went to school, where when he did races, the kids chanted, "S! O! N! I! C! GO! S! O! N! I! C! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! LET'S GO!"

The only one who wasn't too fond of Sonic's attitude there was the principal, because despite the rules, Sonic would sometimes run at super speed in the halls, despite not causing damage.

What Sonic thought he was doing before, he was really doing now. He was living his best life on Earth.

Meanwhile, deep in the forest, the fox was still on his search.

"I can't be too far now. The signal's really powerful." The fox said before he heard something. He looked and saw Sonic on a branch above him.
