It was an uneasy night at the boarding school 'Ericson home of troubled youth'. A bunch of teens and kids have been surviving there for who knows how long, with their leader Marlon. The walkers aren't the only thing that has been a problem for them. There is a group of these bad people, called the raiders, who kidnap kids and make them become soldiers. And two of the Ericson kids had been traded to the Delta by Marlon. Their names are Minerva and Sophie. Marlon kept it a secret from everyone and even from the twin's little brother Tennessee. He told everyone that they died to cover up his lies, but his lies were uncovered by Brody and Clementine. However, Brody was murdered by Marlon in rage. Clem managed to escape and exposed Marlon to the others of his crimes. They were horrified and in disbelief at his actions. Marlon admitted he wanted to plan a rescue but he was too afraid. They managed to talk him down and Tenn even forgave Marlon, however, he was shot down by Clem's adopted son AJ. Everyone was furious and voted to see if they would let them stay or get kicked out. While most of them voted to kick them out. Tenn voted to let them stay, due to the fact he knew AJ only did that to protect them. Also because he was close friends with him. The votes were cast and they were both kicked out and were taken into the woods by Violet and Louis. While all this was happening, a depressed and confused Tenn rested on his bed. Still, in horror by all this, He felt tears roll down his cheeks at the thought of what his sister must have been going through all this time.
"Tenn..?" A voice asked catching his attention.
It was Willy, he was standing right next to the bed looking at Tenn with concern.
"Are you doing ok?" He asked, "I mean after what happened with Marlon...You know.."
The little boy didn't know how to respond. He felt sad, mad, confused and it was just so much for him.
"I...I.." Tenn tried to respond, but it just ended with him bursting into tears on the bed.
Willy got shocked and immediately tried to comfort his friend. Knowing he was going through so much. He always was in awe at how pure and innocent Tenn was, despite the fact that the world has gone to chaos, and it made him so sad to see such bad things happen to a pure kid. He hopped on the bed and pulled his sobbing friend into a hug.
"I'm so sorry Tenn! I shouldn't have asked..." Willy apologized, as he felt a tear slide down his cheek in empathy.
Tenn felt grateful as he hugged him back and calmed down.
"It's ok.." He gently replied, "But..I don't know how I feel, to be honest..."
Willy slowly released Tenn from the hug and looked into his chocolate brown eyes.
"What do you mean?"
Tenn fiddled with his fingers, something he usually did when he got nervous.
"I just..Feel so many emotions right now...It's hard to explain.." He admits calmly.
"I don't blame ya." Willy Agreed, " I mean, Marlon lied to all of us...But he did it to protect us...Frankly, I'm as confused as you."
There was dead silence for a moment with the two boys, until Tenn broke the silence.
"Do you think Clem and AJ should have stayed...?"
Willy shot his eyes to Tenn in surprise.
"Hell, no dude! AJ killed Marlon." He exclaimed.
"He was only trying to protect us...Besides, Marlon gave my sisters away. Not to mention he said he would do it again..." Tenn rebutted kindly.
"So your happy Marlons dead!?" Willy questioned a bit irritated.
"No!" Tenn exclaimed, "I'm just saying why AJ thought it was the right thing to do..."
Willy stayed silent for a moment and thought about it. Tenn was right, after all, AJ did apologize for killing Marlon instead of saying he deserved it. So he saw eye to eye with him at this point.
"I..I guess you're right.." He conceded, "Do you think we could bring them back?"
Tenn looked down in sadness while hugging his pillow.
"I don't think so, they must be miles into the woods by now..."
"Maybe they'll come back?" Willy theorized.
"But no one will want them back after what happened..." Tenn pointed out.
"Maybe w-"
"Willy!" Mitch's voice shouted from the hall, "It's time for lookout duty!"
"Coming!" He shouted back, "Sorry dude, I gotta go."
Tenn grinned at his friend.
"It's ok, and thanks for the comfort." He thanked.
"No problem," Willy smiled, heading out of the room and headed down the hall.
While doing so, Mitch was in the hall and had heard the two talking and wondered how he was doing.
"How's Tenn doing?" The teen asked.
"He's doing a lot better, but he still misses his sisters," Willy said.
"I can't believe Marlon did this." Mitch sighed, "But he didn't deserve to die."
"Well honestly, AJ was only trying to protect us," Willy admitted.
"What are you saying, dude?" Mitch questioned.
"Well. He did apologize for killing Marlon." The twelve-year-old explained. "So Tenn and I were talking about giving Clementine and AJ a second chance."
The teenager's eyes widen at what he told him. However, the way Willy explained it made it more reasonable to give them a chance. Then again, he wasn't sure. because they were now miles into the woods and it would take them who knows how long to find them. Secondly, what AJ did still made it kinda tough.
"Maybe.." He replied softly, "Maybe we can give them a second chance if they come back."
The two smiled at each other as they finally made it outside and Willy headed to his post. He grabbed his bow and started to scan the area, ready to kill anything that was a threat. Just then he saw a walker near the gate.
"Walker!" He screamed firing the arrow, but it missed.
Just then he noticed that right next to the walker was Clementine and she was holding AJ.
"Holy shit! Guy's their back!" Willy yelled, Climbing down, and went to tell everyone.
