Ch 26 The Caster

"Ahahahahahaha! Attack Watchers!" Caster of Eden points at the Chaldeans, the three statues started to charge at them.

One raises its sword and crashes where they were standing. "There, finish-huh?" Caster peers closer seeing the stone sword being blocked by Watanabe and Gawain's sword. "WHAT!?"

Gawain can feel his legs about to give in, he looks behind him to Ushiwakamaru. "Rider, take master to a safe distance, got it?" he orders the samurai.

"Got it." Ushiwakamaru grabs Ritsuka around the waste and jumps back, away from the stone guardians.

Waver, Voyager, and Benkei jumps back as Gawain and Watanabe push back the stone sword. "Master, your orders." Waver looks down at his master.

Ritsuka looks at the enemy Servant and his stone puppets. "By my order, defeat the enemy Servant!" He shouts their orders.

"Hai!" Ushiwakamaru ran across the field with Benkei with his lance.

"You think you can defeat my puppets? Think again!" Caster swipes his hand to the side, activating the attack mode of the statues.

"Rider-sama, the enemy-'

"I know Benkei, remember our tactic during our material gathering mission?" Ushiwakamaru smirks, jumping on the arm when it slams its sword on the ground.

Benkei understood what she meant, a hit-and-run attack. "Excellent idea, Rider-sama!" He twirls his lance before impaling the arm with it. he jumps back, seeing the other arm coming straight for him.

The Lancer then cuts the stone hand, causing two fingers to fall off. "Rider-sama!" He jumps back once more seeing it attacking him again with the sword.

"Do not fret, Lancer!" Ushiwakamaru ran up the arm before slashing the left eye of the statue. The statue reacted by using its sword to swap away from the Rider from its face. "Ah! Too slow!" she jumps to the tree branch and launches herself at the other eye.

"Feel the sharpness of my blade!" Ushiwakamaru stabs her sword right in the other eye. The statue stumbles back, swinging its sword everywhere.

Ushiwakamaru landed next to Benkei examining the enemy. "Rider-sama, try to find a weak spot." He suggested to his lord.

"Understood," Ushiwaka ran back, jumping on the body once more.

Waver, Voyager, and Ritsuka stood before the third statue. "Mmph," Waver moved his hand to the side, a disc appears in front of him and shot a ray of light at him.

The statue stumbles backward, a big chuck on his stone body came off from his shoulders. He swung his sword at them causing them to jump back to evade it. Voyager twirls around and shoots stars from his arms at it.

Ritsuka raises his hand in a gun shape and shoots a barrage of gems at the statue. He looks at the smalls crater on the statue's abdomen. "Tch, my Magecraft isn't affected on them."

"Ahahahaha! Of course, I place magic resistance to my puppets!" Caster placing his left hand on his face, laughing at how futile to defeat them.

"Magic resistance, huh." Waver ponders before creating a rock wall to deflect the sword, "So they're classified as Saber type enemies."

Voyager floats around shooting stars at the statue. "GAH!" An arm swatted the Foreigner slammed away.

"Foreigner!" Ritsuka enchanted his legs and grabs the falling Servant, he uses his body as a cushion for the child.

Voyager looks at his master, who just used his body as a cushion. "Master!" He cried out.

Gawain turns his head, seeing their master struggling to get up. "Saber, can you handle this enemy by yourself?" The Knight of the Sun asked the Heavenly King.

Watanabe nodded as they pushed the statue back. "Go and help master." He said before using his flames to slice off the arm off.

"I'm leaving this to you then." Gawain rushed off to where his master was.

Jamie and Colin walk through the brushes, trying to find Ritsuka and his Servants. "Are you sure he's even here? We're really deep in the forest." Colin looks around, a bit scared of the Forest.

"Yes, he definitely went this way." Jamie looks around his surroundings searching where his older 'brother' could be. "I got a feeling-" a loud clang echoed through the forest indicating that must be Ritsuka to him. "That way! That sound is probably where Ritsuka is fighting! Come on!" He ran to where the sound originated.

"Wait! Jamie!" Colin was unsure what to do in this situation. He looks back at the path then at his friend before peer pressure got to him. "W-Wait up Jamie!" he ran after the red-haired boy.

They saw a spark of fire coming from a clearing nearby. "Over there!" Jamie points, running over to the area with Colin close behind.

The two Gryffindor boys hid behind some bushes, seeing three giant stone creatures fighting the Chaldeans. "W-Wait, are those Ritsuka's Servants?" Colin's eyes widen with disbelief.

Colin saw Benkei switched off the right arm of the blind statue as Ushiwaka did the finishing blow by impaling her katana in the frontal lobe. The statue's head shattered into a million pieces before going to Watanabe to assist. "How can Servants be able to do this? It's like back at Hogsmeade." He commented.

"Sssshhh! Colin, be quiet, or else they'll hear us." Jamie hushed his friend.

"Master! Are you alright?" The boys look down at Gawain running over to Ritsuka laying on the ground.

Ritsuka got up with a smug smirk. "Just a scratch, Saber." he chuckles, fighting the pain from his back.

"Are you sure? I can always-"

"No, help Waver with the third one." Ritsuka orders one of his loyal knights.

Gawain looks at the Caster, motioning his hand upward causing the ground from the bottom of its feet. The statue stumbles backward before it was able to gain a footing and slam the sword on Waver only for him to dodge it. "Damnit, I guess I have to try again." Another disc appears and shoots the eye out leaving one left.

The Saber nodded before looking at Voyager, "Foreigner, I'm leaving master to you." he asked the blonde boy.

Voyager floats up, agreeing with him. "I'll keep him safe." He ensures the worried knight.

Gawain smiles before leaping in the air. He ignites Galatine and slashed vertically at the abdomen of the enemy. The impact causes a deep cut, allowing Waver to finish it off.

"Deplorable," Waver summons three-disc around him and shot three rays of light at the statue. One ray hit the arms, one on the chest, and the third on the head. The three-way attack causes the upper body to shatter. "This was always a strategy." Gawain landed next to him.

Caster gritted his teeth, seeing the Watchers were defeated. He then noticed the one left standing and a thought race across his mind. He smirks, opening his book. "By this book, Watcher of Eden, I enhance you!" The spell travels over to the lone statue as the remnants of the fallen came to him. "Use the parts of your brethren to enhance your power!"

"WANDLESS MAGIC!?" Jamie gasps, never seeing a feat like that before. "How is did that kid do it!?"

Colin covers his mouth, trying to silence him. "(Jamie! We're not supposed to be here! We'll be killed if that kid saw us!)" The camera boy hissed at him to be quiet.

The Servants of Chaldea regroup with Ritsuka, seeing the gigantic stone statue with stone wings and six arms. "Hahahaha! Behold Watcher Type I! Now attack and destroy the Chaldeans!" Caster of Eden commands the statue to attack them.

The Watcher Type I slams six swords on the group, the Chaldeans dodge the attack. Each of them taking a different area of the clearing. "Shit, we can't beat it!" Waver commented, noting how strong this one is than the other version.

"Indeed, this must be the Caster of Eden's and the Anomaly's influence on those who are acquainted with it," Gawain commented, dodging another blow from the stone swords. "It must have a weak spot."

Ushiwaka, Benkei, and Voyager ran on the other side, dodging each attack. "Agree, Saber-sama." Benkei looked closer at the statue, seeing the joint that connects the six arms. "Rider-sama, you attack the joint at the back where the arms meet."

Ushiwakamaru blinks seeing what Benkei sees. "Understood!" she jumps in the tree branches, waiting for the moment to strike. "You both distract the enemy."

"Very well," Benkei and Voyager went to distract the statue.

Caster chuckles, seeing what they're doing. "Distracting the Watcher to get to me huh," he smirks, turning to Ritsuka's team. "Nice try!" Three spell circles formed and shot multiple blasts at them.

Waver steps forward and summons his fan to blow away the spells. "Waver!" Ritsuka called out.

The Pseudo-Servant nodded, raising his hand. The ground on Caster's feet suddenly cracked then broke apart. "Ah, interesting. This is getting fun!" He jumps to the boulder near him and cast more spells which Waver counteract by using his.

Ritsuka, being held by Gawain saw the spellbook in Caster's hands. "Saber, I need you to get me over to Caster." He looks at Watanabe, "Saber go and help Rider, Lancer, and Foreigner and wait for my signal. You only have one chance."

Watanabe nodded, understanding his master's request. "Understood, master." He jumps back where they once stood, observing the Servants from the treetops.

Ritsuka looks at Gawain with a serious expression. "Throw me, Saber."

Gawain's eyes widen, not expecting that from his master. "Master what are you-"

"DO IT NOW!" Ritsuka orders as The Knight of the Sun prepares to throw him.

Gawain closes his eyes praying to the world that this was a safe plan. "As you wish master!" he threw Ritsuka in the air, taking out his sword.

Ritsuka quickly places a red gem in his sword, "Gandr Blade!" the blade has this red and black aura, he jumps down at the blonde boy slashing at him.

Caster dodges it by an inch, smirking at him. "What a foolish mo-" His eyes widen at the sudden movement of his other hand in a straight position.

"Gandr!" A red sphere hits Caster in the chest, stunning him in the process.

"W-W-What!?" Caster was stunned, can't even move a muscle. "H-H-Ho-"Not even a single word can escape his mouth. He loses the feeling in his hand, dropping his book on the ground. He looks at Ritsuka, jumping away from him.

Voyager saw the sudden change in the power level of the Watcher. "It's slower now! Rider!" he called out to the samurai.

Ushiwakamaru smirk, jumping off the branch and landed on the back where the joints meet up. "HA!" She slashed downwards, splitting the joint in half.

The Watcher stumbles back then froward as its arms began to fall off. "Woah!" Ushiwaka was being shaken around by the moving statue.

"Rider-sama!" Benkei called out in a clear area for her to jump.

Ushiwakamaru saw Benkei waving at her. She nodded, jumping off the statue and landing next to him. She smirks, seeing the statue struggling to balance. "Without Caster's enchantments, this foe is less formidable." She smirks.

"(They did it!)" Jamie cheered, ensuring his voice is low enough for them not to hear him.

Colin looks closer, seeing the monster standing. "(I-It's still standing,)" his eyes were filled with absolute terror. "(H-How is it still standing?)" he was trembling in his shoes.

"Do not say those things, Rider-sama. The enemy isn't down just yet." Benkei commented seeing the statue still standing and alive.

Caster laughs still stunned in place. "Y-Y-You c-c-can't d-defeat my c-creation th-at easily." He could feel the paralysis wearing off. Caster can move his hands just a bit before Gawain slashed at him. "Ngh." Caster gain enough straightens to jump out of the way.

Gawain held his sword at his face, ready to kill him if necessary. "You will not die today, my master has some questions that need answering," he informs the enemy.

Waver went over and picked up his spellbook. He looks at Ritsuka standing beside the Heavenly King. "Master, I suggest we take out the Watcher swiftly." He suggested. "He still poses a threat to the people here."

"(What is he talking about?)" Colin whispers, observing them standing there facing the stone monster.

"(Sssshhh! Just watch.)"

Ritsuka raises his hand, his Command Seals glowed. "(His tattoos! They're glowing!)" Jamie gasps seeing them glow a bright red.

"By my order, release your Noble Phantasm Watanabe no Tsuna!" Ritsuka held out his glowing blue hand, allowing the Command Seal travels to the Saber.

Watanabe closes his eyes, feeling his master's power within him. He lifts his sword straight up, "Rin, hyou, tou, sha, kai, jin, retsu, zai, zen." His other hand drew symbols on the side of the blade as symbols behind him circles around.

A bright light shrouds the area, "WHAT THE HECK!?" Jamie and Colin cover their eyes before opening them to a foreign land. "Where are we?" Jamie looks around before spotting Ritsuka standing behind the Saber in front of a Japanese-style bridge.

"Did we portkey somewhere?" Colin asked, seeing the sky turn from day to night. They turn around seeing Watanabe holding his sword from the scabbard.

"My blade, that of which slays demonic beasts." Watanabe leans in, pulling his sword out slowly with flames bursting out. The Watcher suddenly reactivates aand proceeds to attack the enemy.

He steps forward, "Mount Ooe, Bodhi Oni Slayer!" the statue was set ablaze with his sword, Watanabe appeared on the other side of the bridge.

"Burn ablaze, and may your sins be purged." The Saber spoke, not looking at the ash pile. The area returns to the clearing, this time a huge pile of ash laid where the enemy once stood.

Jamie and Colin's mouth gaped open at the strange yet awesome sight in their lives. "T-That was awesome!" The boys exclaim, they hid quickly when Ritsuka turns his head.

"Was there someone watching us?" Ushiwakamaru asked hearing the rustling of bushes from behind their master.

"Rider, Lancer, go see who watched the battle," Ritsuka orders his Servants, wanting the person who saw the Noble Phantasm here to talk with him. "Now," he turns to Gawain still holding Galatine on the Caster of Eden's neck.

Caster sneers at Gawain when three beams hurl towards him. The Knight acted quickly, blocking the attack with his sword. He took the moment to make his move. "It seems my reinforcements have arrived." He jumps on his feet and rushes at Waver.

"Oh, you can't be that stupid." Waver was about to summon his disc when another beam of light came at him. The Pseudo-Servant was able to dodge the attack however he drops the spellbook. "SHIT!"

Caster took his spellbook; he turns the Chaldeans and smirk. "Well this was fun Chaldeans; however I must take my leave." He bows at them. "Adieu, Hahahahahaha!"

"Stop him!" Ritsuka orders, Gawain rushes at him only to be covered by the same black vines that took Archer of Phoenicia back at Hogsmeade.

Gawain missed, slashing the tree where Caster of Eden once stood. He turns around to Ritsuka with a serious expression. "Caster's gone, master." He reported.

"And the spell book too," Waver walks up to their master. "I feel like we've seen it before."

Ritsuka nodded, feeling the same way. "As do I," he looks at Ushiwakamaru and Benkei coming from behind. "Did you find the person who was watching us?" he asked the two.

"Sadly we did not," Benkei reported.

"Whoever saw the battle must've run away when we heard them," Ushiwakamaru added to the Monk's report. "Next time we go back here, it's for the best to check our surroundings before entering the forest." She suggested.

"I believe you're right, Ushiwaka." Ritsuka looks at Voyager, descending to the ground. "Did you gain enough data of the area, Voyager?" he asked the probe.

Voyager nodded, showing a map of Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and eighty-nine percent of the Anomaly. "Upon probing the area, I found a strange area that I can't get a read on." He explains.

"I might just shooting it, but I do believe that area is where this Rider of Heaven is operating." Waver points at the static area of the map.

"Agreed, for now, I like this area to be watched carefully for any Anomaly Servants," Ritsuka said to the gathered Servants in the area.

Gawain nodded, "This area seems to be where they reside," he looks around.

"Fujimaru-dono, me and Benkei will patrol this area for Caster of Eden and others like that Watcher." Ushiwakamaru offered their services to their master.

Ritsuka nodded, "Alright, just be careful." He walks over to Watanabe standing guard the area. "Good job there, Watanabe." He compliments the Heavenly King for his work.

Watanabe looks at his master, a small smile appears on his face. "I appreciate it, master. Though I do worry that I might have compromised our mission by using my Noble Phantasm like that."

"I wouldn't worry, I didn't teach Raikō or the other Heavenly Kings in my class." Ritsuka jokes with the Saber.

"If you're confident in that master," Watanabe went along with their master.

"Master, we should head back. this place still poses a danger to your safety," Waver shouted from the group.

Ritsuka nodded, looking at the Heavenly King. "Let's head back, Watanabe." He walks off, heading back to Hogwarts to rest up.

Jamie and Colin ran as fast as their legs could take them. "Did you just see what that guy did to that monster!" Colin smiles, never seeing anything cooler than that before.

"I know," Jamie huffed with the brightest smile he has. "That was so wicked! I mean the flames and the sword. It's all awesome!" he cheered, expressing his excitement.

Colin chuckles, seeing he forgot something crucial. "Jamie, have you forgotten your brother back there? He was so awesome when fighting that kid." He commented liking how he bested the Caster.

Jamie nodded, remembering the wandless magic he performed. "That too, oh! I want to learn how to use a sword like that!" he exclaims, wanting to be like him so badly. "Maybe he could teach us!"

"YEAH!" The boys ran back to school in glee before anyone caught them out and about.

Hogwarts, October 3, 1995, 2:30 PM

Jane, Hermione, and Ron walk up the stairs to the Lore class. they were discussing what transpired earlier. "I can't believe Professor Umbridge just did that to Professor Trelawney." Jane grips her fist tight.

"I know, even if the Professor was all weird, she didn't deserve treatment like that!" Ron crosses his arms, feeling angry for the Divination teacher. "I just can't that lady!" he shouts.

Hermione nodded agreeing with them. "If anything Professor Umbridge isn't teaching us anything that involves defense. Professor Trelawney is a good Professor, trying her best to teach us deviation, " An idea came into her mind, she then looks at Jane who saw her determined eyes. "Jane, do you believe that Voldemort is still out there?"

"Yes, I just know it, who else wants to kill Harry that much?" Jane replied, wanting nothing more to avenge her brother. "What are you implying Hermione?"

Ron looks at the bushy-haired girl, wondering what she has in mind. "Yeah, what do you have in mind Mione?"

Hermione faced her two friends, "Jane, Ron, I'm saying if Umbridge is not going to teach us defense then we need someone who will." She looks at Jane.

Jane jumps back, realizing what she means. "Oho, no way Hermione. I won't do it, you know why I can do it!" she reasons with the brightest witch of her generation.

"Please, Jane you are the only one here who can do it!" Hermione begs Jane to teach them how to defend themselves. "You and Harry were trained under Professor Potter at your home, you know a lot of defensive spells and you were the champion last year in the Dueling Class."

"Yeah, that's before Harry's death! I gave that up a week after his funeral." Jane reasons with her why she can't teach them.

"Then who will? Your dad can't do it because of Umbridge's watchful eye on the Professors." Hermione gave her another reason why she must do it.

Ron then remembers that Archer guy back at Hogsmeade. "What abou-"

"What are you three standing around here for?" They all turn their heads seeing Bedivere standing behind them.

"S-Saber! I-We were just talking about how interesting Lore is getting." Jane quickly came up with a quick lie.

"Y-Yes, that's right Saber. Nothing is going on here." Ron smiles, supporting the lie poorly.

Bedivere looks at the Golden Trio, sighing. "Get to class you three." The Silver Knight orders the three.

"Yes! We shall, Mr. Saber." Hermione quickly drags her friends to where they're supposed to be.

"Now what to do, what to do on this glorious d-"Sir Cadogan froze seeing the Silver Knight sighs, returning to patrol. "(Sir Bedivere? It can't be…)" he follows the Knight down the stairwell only to lose him by the stairs.

The Golden Trio rushes into the classroom, surprised to see everyone but Ritsuka here. "Ah, Hermione Granger, Jane Potter, and Ronald Weasley, I'm glad that you were able to make it." Hinako stood beside Ritsuka's desk seeing them entering with a purple-haired woman and red eyes. In her hair were a silver tiara, a purple dress with black feathers on her shoulders, and a wand on her waist.

This woman causes some discomfort to the class due to her eyes. The girls were envious and scared of her at the same time from her appearance. "Ms. Akuta, who are these children on the floor? Are they students of master as well?" Skadi-Scáthach asked the True Ancestor.

"Yes, Caster they are." Hinako looks at the three. "Now take your seats, class is about to begin." She orders them.
