Fiver stared as Silverweed's body twitched and quivered.
His breath heaved in short, audible durations. He sometimes spoke in tongues while he slept, like he did now. He was almost curled up into a ball and his ears were behind him, almost uncomfortably so. Fiver couldn't tell if this was a nightmare or if it was a vision within his slumber. He didn't want to wake him in case it was the latter. It could interrupt any visions Silverweed might be having and, for all he knew, it could've been important. It wasn't something he wanted to risk, especially considering he knew from experience whenever he was woken up during one.
At the same time, however, he couldn't stand there and do nothing while he was like this. His heart raced looking at him as he tried to think of what to do. He inched closer and closer to the silver seer before he stopped at a point where they could touch. Fiver hesitantly threw one of his forelegs over Silverweed's body and carefully moved him closer. He stopped moving him once his head touched his chest.
He softly nuzzled Silverweed's head. It seemed to be working as his breathing got lighter and better. If he kept this up, Silverweed's breathing would be back to normal in no time. However, his body still trembled and twitched beneath him, even his lips were still quivering. It seemed like Fiver would have to keep doing this for a while.
Fiver might never sleep that night, but he wouldn't mind it if he got to keep Silverweed this close to him.
